Best Sewer Line Installation in Raleigh NC

William Parrish Plumbing Plumbing Service
I reviewed this company on May 25, 2023, shortly after the work was performed. My primary complaint was I felt the pricing of approximately $650 was out of line for 1-1/4 hours of work and less than $30 in materials.
On June  27 I received a call from my tenant the two sharp points of something had penetrated the wall in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom where a technician from William Parrish Plumbing had replaced the tub faucet, shower head and water control valve which came in a kit by Delta. I provided the kit. Going to the rental house to determine what I needed to do and the cause of the problem I found the two screws the technician had used to secure the water valve to a 1x 4 were 3 in length and the sharp points had penetrated the wall in the adjoining bedroom. I removed them and installed two 2' screws which firmly held the valve in place.  The next step was to use joint compound to fill the two small holes and then repaint the entire wall.  I have never been happy with the outcome when I try to paint  small patches on walls that have been painted for 4 or 5 years.  One full day of work to keep my excellent tenant happy to live in the house she has been in for 5 years.  One day of work caused because the plumbing technician from William Parrish Plumbing decided to not walk to his truck to get the proper length of screws or possibly he did not have them and needed to make a trip to a near by ACE Hardware to buy two screws of the proper length or ask me if I had two he could use.

It was hard for me to find a trustworthy service, but Eddie & his crew did great. I feel my toilet now very steady and tight! I believe it now should sit there forever without any leak or broken flange problem.
Thanks again Eddie for great job!!

The Art of Plumbing Plumbing Service
The Art of Plumbing is the best. We have had hot water heater issues for more than a year because one or perhaps all 3 companies stripped the anode bolt on our water heater. We decided to replace the water heater with a heat pump water heater. The first company we contacted said they don't do those type water heaters. A second and third company were contacted but failed to follow through, perhaps due to the complexity of shutting down an existing solar water heater. Regardless, my family was getting by on luke warm water for several weeks. The Art of Plumbing contacted us immediately, a day to assess what we needed, another to write up an estimate and a third day to fully install the water heater, start to finish. Without the new water heater my family was going to be looking at a weekend with cold water. Thank you so much Art of Plumbing, job well done!

Streamline Services Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical Plumbing Service
This service gets a mixed, but mostly positive, review. The one big negative was that the technician was 2 hours late! The good news is that they did a good job of keeping me informed, and technician Daniel C did a great job!

Quality Service Today Plumbing & Septic Plumbing Service
Knowledgable and friendly service tech, however, the quote for the installation of a 50 gallon water heater was much too high. We had Dominion do the job for 1/3 of the quote.

Legacy Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
What a great company with real people and amazing customer service.  Last week, the Monday before the first snow storm, I smelled gas in my garage coming from the water heater.  After PSNC diagnosed the leak and shut it off , a friend referred me to Jamie @ Legacy Plumbing.  ,
He answered the phone!  and had Joe here in 35 minutes to drain the old water heater.  They found a new water heater for me, had it here in 1.5 hours and it was installed and working by 6:15 pm.  Joe worked tirelessly even though the ice was coming and roads were getting dangerous.
My new water heater works beautifully, their price was extremely fair.  Legacy Plumbing will be my go-to plumbing company from here on!

Bizzy Bee Plumbing, Inc Plumbing Service
Totally misleading. While we did get our pipes cleared, when I signed the contract that was initially shown to me, I agreed to pay the 190 that they were going to charge. The plumber then went on to tell me that he was going to use the hydro-jet and it would slightly change the bill to about $250 and I said it was ok. After the service, I presented him with a $20 off coupon and my total came out to $291 - WAY over what I was quoted. He also left a huge mess in my kitchen and a stain in my runner I cannot get out.  He then proceeded to tell me that he had just got the hydro jet the day before, so had he come out a day earlier, my total would have been a hundred dollars less because he wouldn't have the equipment to begin with. I'll go with a more honest and forthcoming company next time.

Bull City Plumbing Plumbing Service
Our toilet began leaking all over the floor and kitchen faucet handle snapped off over the weekend (such great timing!) and I did a yelp request for plumbing services in the area. Within minutes Bull City messaged me back and when called, a very sweet lady answered the phone over the weekend for a quote. They had the absolute best rates in the area so I booked them. I was told that he would be out to our house in the morning and, from experience with other companies, that normally means they'll be there sometime before evening. To my surprise, he arrived right at 8am and was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and got right down to business. Everything, including picking up a part for our toilet, took only 2 hours and he left the place all cleaned up after completing the job.

If you need plumbing services, you should definitely use Bull City!!

Cary Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
Cary plumbing completely replaced our Quest pipes with Pex throughout the entire upstairs. They also put in all new fixtures, sinks, drains and pipes for our master bathroom remodel. This was a completely new design which entailed removal of all plumbing for the new layout.

Mike Tingen with Cary plumbing was the lead plumber from start to finish on the entire project. His attention to detail is phenomenal!!!

We will use Cary Plumbing when we remodel the kitchen and Quest pipe replacement downstairs in the 2nd/final phase.

Blanton's Air, Plumbing, & Electric Plumbing Service
I called Blantons to come and look at my tankless hot water heater that wasn't giving out hot water. When I called, they told me there would be a $116 service charge and then possible charge if something needed to be fixed. Of course, I understand that.
The technician comes out to my house, takes a look at water heater, breaks a lever on the box next to water heater. Connects a loose wire. Technician was there less than 40 minutes. Then he comes around with his invoice and he charges me $360 for diagnostics. Never told me prior to doing anything that it would cost this much. My total was $417, for less than 40 minutes of work. He also put in the invoice that he diagnosed the problem for 45 minutes and then took 30 more minutes to fix. Not true, I have it on my cameras and I stayed with technician the whole time.
I paid the bill because I didn't know what else to do. I immediately called the company to speak to them about this matter, was asked how much I think I should have to pay. Then was told that the manager said I shouldn't have paid and he can't give refund now that I have already paid but he would give $50 credit.. no thanks! I asked to speak to the manager and he conveniently just left to go to the field, he was supposed to call me by end of day and surprise.. he never did.
I would never recommend this company to anyone. Terrible customer service and seems like they adjust their prices based on what they think they can get away with.

Schwartz Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
Schwartz Plumbing followed up on a $3625 hot water heater installation, but did not notify me that they would charge an additional $78, and then got angry when I questioned the fee.

We went with Schwartz because they had the tankless hot water heater we wanted (the Navien NPE-240A) and they could setup the recirculating system we wanted. The price of installation through Schwartz was a little high, but we wanted a recirculating system, so we decided to go for it. ($3625, Invoice# 94068, 01/31/14).

Then a few months after installation, I found a leak coming from the attic (where the old hot water tank was). It was a water spot on the ceiling right below where Schwartz had done their work. We saw the leak in July (our original installation was 01/31/14), and I called Schwartz and I explained that I had a new installation a few months ago and wanted to see if they could check on this leak, since I didn't know much about what all they had done. The receptionist looked up my account, and said Sure, we can send a tech over to check on that for you! When would be a good time? We scheduled the tech to come out 07/18/14 at noon.

The tech was in a hurry that day, and called me to meet him early. I hurried over to the house, and met the tech a half hour early at 11:30am. Once there, the tech went into the attic and within 1 minute, he said that it was not the old hot water heater lines, but something with the HVAC and proceeded to leave. I asked if there was anything they could help with, or if they had any suggestions and he just said you need to call an AC guy. Ok... fine, no problem. I thanked him for checking on their setup (since I did spend $3625 with them), and as we were walking out he said ok, that'll be $78...

What???

I told the tech that I was never informed that they were charging to come out. Instead of listening to me, or trying to talk to somebody back at their office, the tech just started to get annoyed, and became bossy saying well, I've gotta get paid somehow. Since he wasn't going to call the main office about this, I called them. I told them (the same receptionist) that when this was scheduled, they just said oh sure, we'll send somebody to check on that for you, never mentioning it would cost $78 to follow up on my $3625 installation.

If they had mentioned that just checking on their own work would cost $78, I would have never scheduled work with them in the first place. I would have called somebody I was sure could actually fix the problem, or at least diagnose it... or do something... anything. But apparently, Schwartz will charge you $78 to say call somebody else.

The tech was getting pretty mad by now, so I went ahead and paid him... I paid $78 for somebody to come out and say call somebody else (side note, the guy was there for a total of 8 minutes)($78, Invoice# 26359, 07/18/14). I figured that I could work this out with a manager or the owner, and just let the tech leave (in a hurry).

I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak to someone and she said that the only person I could speak with was driving home from Virginia right now, but would call me when they got back. Ok, fine. I was starting to get pretty disappointed with Schwartz.

I waited 3 days and never heard from anybody at Schwartz. I decided to call back again and leave another message. After 5 days I finally spoke with someone. I'm not sure if it was a manager or owner, but they pretty much said... too bad, we're keeping your $78. I reminded them that I was never informed that I would be charged $78 to have someone just check. The manager then went back and reviewed my original installation and decided that it had been too long to consider this any kind of follow up call. The original installation was on 01/31/14, the leak check was on 07/18/14... That is less than 6 months.

I told the manager that I wanted to post this issue to review boards and the BBB, and he just said well, do whatever you want. I asked if they even cared that they were trying to sneak an extra $78 out of us after we spent $3625 with them... The manager just tried to get me off the phone.

Lane Plumbing Plumbing Service
Lane Plumbing came out to my home to fix a Pressure Reducing Valve. Daniel the technician was great from the start and noticed an additional problem that we had at our cut off. He pointed this out to me before doing any work, explained in clear detail and showed me the evidence to support his findings. They were competitively priced and efficient with their work. I definitely recommend that you call Lane Plumbing and if he's available request Daniel to be your tech. Great experience working with them.

NC Plumbing Pros Plumbing Service
They got here and gave me a quote that's unreasonably high. Although I have communicated my issue clearly beforehand and they should be able to give me a quote without having to be here. In the end I had to pay for the dispatch fee while fixing the issue myself. Genuinely bad experience, feels like a trap.
