Best Septic Tank Services in Pittsburgh PA
I have had to call Frank three times in the recent months. Two calls were for smaller problems and one was for a large problem, a broken pipe behind a wall. Frank was able to fix all three problems in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very reasonable charge. I recommend Frank to be called for any type of plumbing problem. John B Penn Hills

Called Noah's Ark Plumbing on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. He was my third call and the only one that answered without having to leave a message. He was out of town and asked if he could call the other employees to come look at my main drain which was backed up. He said he would call back promptly to let me know when to expect someone. I knew the Sunday after a holiday plus the start of deer hunting season would make it hard to find someone. He called back in less than 15 minutes and told me he was on his way back from deer camp with his daughter. He also said he would be coming to look at and fix the problem himself. He told me he would be arriving around 2-3:00pm. He arrived before 3:00pm note this is only 4 hours after I initially called. He came and looked at the problem. He brought down his equipment and within an hour not only cleared the drain he also pointed out the cause of the blockage. His price never changed. I would recommend this business to any and everyone!!!

We are so pleased with D Campbell Plumbing! We remodeled our bathroom and when we got our new vanity none of the piping was lining up right. The D Campbell team was quickly able to help and we had our new bathroom up and running in no time!

I cannot recommend this company enough. They are as good as it gets. They are quick, efficient, communicative, and honest - all things that are really important when it comes to hourly contracting work.
I called Mx Mechanical to help me fix my broken heater in my apartment. I technically had two broken heaters at this point but initially wasn't willing to fix the second one (it had been broken since I moved in), but Zsolt did such a great job on the first one that I asked him to fix my older one. He was thorough, went above and beyond, and I am really happy with his work.
I'd recommend Zsolt and Mx Mechanical to anyone.

Michael was just out at my house to service my furnace. He could not have been nicer and more professional. I am not very savvy when it comes to furnaces but he answered a few questions I had. Could not recommend this company enough.

Bill helped me out with an emergency repair the same day, and explained things in great detail so I knew exactly what the issue was. Incredibly professional and honest. Thanks again Bill.

Cleaned and serviced our Mitsubishi mini split units throughout our house. We just moved and I had never had them before and the technician was so patient and polite with his responses to all of my questions. He took his time and inspected our outdoor unit, cleaned the filters for all 4 indoor units, put them back, and cleaned the drain line for an insanely low price ($75-$99 if I remember correctly). I was very pleased with this service and glad I found them, because we did not know who installed the mini splits and most companies declined to work on them if they did not install them.

My review stands as it was given. Unfortunately there are many errors with Mike's (the owner's) recollection of the events:
1) Our house never failed a dye test. I'm not sure where he's pulling that information from, but when we purchased the house, it absolutely passed the dye test. I have no idea as to why he would add false information.
2) We were NEVER told that the entire line needed to be replaced (I verified this information with my husband in case I missed something). In fact, upon the initial inspection of the line, Mike told us that there was nothing wrong with the line under and near the house. Had we been told there was an issue, then we ABSOLUTELY would have fixed it. We did not want this to be an ongoing problem by any means.
3) We were also not told about the slope at the first drain cleaning. We were told that everything looked fine (by Mike, the owner, both times). It was not until the 3rd incident that we were told by one of Mike's workers that there was POSSIBLY a problem with the slope. This was never determined to be a definite factor. This 3rd visit by McVay was also the day before I called Mike to inquire about this problem.
4) Even though most of what was written by Mike was false, he never told me (or my husband) about anything that he wrote here. When I called and asked about why this issue had not been addressed when the line was fixed the first time, I was immediately flipped out on, hung up on, etc. There was no chance to avoid what Mike said to me or how I was treated by him because we were told that everything under the house was fine. In fact, I have a pretty good inkling that the liner that was added created a ridge that is causing the line to back up.
As a final note, I have never been so insulted over the phone... by anyone, let alone a BUSINESS OWNER. If Mike took his reputation so seriously, he would have never EVER called a client crazy, ignorant, etc. I am someone who works with the public, so a lack of professionalism is what I cannot tolerate over anything. This incident was described graphically because it was horrifically graphic - I would have been fired 10 times over for ever saying the things that he said to me. Every person that I have told has been completely offended for me.
I sincerely and with all truth and honesty do not recommend this business to anyone.

This is the worst home service we've ever had. Jason showed up late by about 4 hours because he was stuck at Home Depot. Thought he was maybe picking up supplies? When he arrived he explained a pipe burst at Home Depot and he was working. Would've been helpful context. (Later, we found out from a more reputable plumber he wasn't working there...he was just trolling around).
He put a huge hole in our wall under our sink, explained how the work was going to be extensive and require a granite specialist to evaluate because he had to remove the kitchen cabinets and it could possible destroy our kitchen counters as well. We were told it was going to cost thousands. This was on a Thursday (two days before New Year's Eve) and he told us the pipes were all connected to our upstairs bathroom. He explained we couldn't use that bathroom, or the kitchen water (sink, dishwasher, etc) until he came back next week. (Unfortunate as I had a party to cook/bake for the following day.)
While assessing he flooded our ceiling in the basement, damaging ceiling tiles that we had literally paid contractors to replace a week before (for an unrelated incident). He also broke a valve under the sink.
He also went into our basement bathroom and spit his chew into the toilet right in front of me. And didn't flush. He did this again out my front door before leaving.
When he arrived the next day, he came early in the morning and immediately announced to my husband, I gotta take a piss. He accosted my husband for $225 before he left that day as a deposit.
Something didn't feel right about it, so we called another plumber and they arrived Monday. They fixed the issue almost immediately coming back a second time only to fix the valve that Jason broke and patch the hole in the wall.
They informed us that the fix was not only a lot simpler (the pipe still needed replaced but no risk to our cabinets or countertops) but at a fraction of the cost. Also, those pipes weren't connected. We could have used the bathroom that entire time.
They also informed us that he's known for being untrustworthy and a drinker.
We never got that deposit back.

Says right on their website that they have 24/7 emergency service. When you call for emergency service, they're booked out 3 weeks.

Update: Mr. Miller took the time to call me and I was so surprised since no business has ever done that. I am very appreciative of that and it totally took away my frustration of my experience he was very nice and said he would refund me, I don't want refunded I just wanted a job done and not to be thought less than. He took the time to talk and explain and not make me feel taken advantage of, thank you.
Please be warned about hiring plumbers in the New Castle PA area, they are crooks. After having to pick one of these crooks (Ron Miller plumbing) I thought I picked someone honest. The quote was $160 an hour and then you pay by the half. The job was to snake the hole by the wash machine, he wasn't down there more that 5 minutes before he said it couldn't be done, I really didn't hear the machine. He was only on the job for 30 minutes and most of that time was spent going up and down the stairs and in an out the house for what I didn't know, he said he had to snake the main drain but that was impossible the floor was completely dry. And then the pitch came, they conveniently can't do the small job so the can force you into a way bigger more expensive job. What he didn't know was that my husband usual do this because we live in a wooded area and we have to keep our lines clear but because my husband couldn't get off work I wanted to do something nice for him and have it done. Not only did I have to pay the $160 for him doing nothing but he constantly kept trying to up sell me and I had to keep telling him to just leave my house. Sorry for the length of this but that's what these plumbers are doing, over charging then forcing other jobs on you that you didn't ask for. Please do your research and be adamant about what

I don't wanna curse. But I made an appointment a couple of days ago and waited for almost an hour saying they can't come. What a shitty Xmas. I don't even know why they have that high rate on google.

Called to schedule repair of indoor cold water pipe, less than two feet. Phone rep asked if it was an emergency. I ckearly stated that it was NOT. Technician arrived same day. Gave me choice of copper or pex, saying pex is more expensive, but would only charge me price of copper. A little research shows that pex is easier to install than copper and pex tube is less expensive. (see Bob Vila's site.). Then the technician had me sign authorization of emergency work, telling me it was just to authorize the work. What he didn't point out was that it also waived my rights under Pennsylvania Fair Practices law which gives 3 days to cancel contract. And this was right after he clearly stated I had 3 days to cancel contract which would result in them removing the repair. Tech also gave an estimate to replace all the water lines in that area of house. However, the estimate didn't even describe the work that would be done. Just a cost. When I called the office, to express my overall dissatisfaction, the manager/owner? told me they did nothing wrong and refused to adjust price or allow cancellation. After $50 coupon, I paid almost $367.00 for 30 minutes of work and max $20 parts. No apology or even acknowledgment that I was dissatisfied and felt misled. Although the repair was completed as promised, the cost was exhorbitant and truthful communication was lacking. They need to read and practice their own mission statement regarding Respect, Integrity and Customer focus as shown on their own website.

TERRIBLE - ALL THE WAY AROUND. I would select a negative rating if that was a choice.
The drain in my backyard was flooding. I have 2 large dogs that bark when the wind blows. The technician said he knocked (lie #1) and that he sat outside on my steps for over an hour (who has time to do that???)
He snaked the drain and it got stuck. He tried with everything he had in him to pull it out. It took another good 30 minutes to free the snake.
That evening I proceeded to my basement, and much to my dismay....the sludge from the drain in the yard was suddenly in my basement with a hole in the wall.
I called back and was told that 2 technicians would be out before the end of the night to run a camera down the drain. The original tech came back and told me to wait until it dries to clean it up - WHAT?!?!? Needless to say..the other 2 never showed up either. The tech said he was off duty but was curious to see what happened.
Next day (now 3 days after initial incident) was Sunday, we were told that a SUPERVISOR was coming out by the end of the evening. Guess who came? NOBODY!
Monday - we were told that someone would call us (after 1pm) to tell us what time he would be there. They were at the door at 7:30am and my son had to leave for work, so tech could not stay - told us to call when someone would be home and he would be back. I called at 5:15pm and was told that someone was in route to my place. That is a complete contradiction to what I was told earlier, however I was close enough to home that I could get there quickly.
Waited till midnight. Not only did they not show, they didn't call either.
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! I WILL LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON THEM ANYTIME I CAN - it is UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL

These guys are scam artists. Stay away. Technician (Chris) quoted me $345 for flange replacement including parts. After removing the toilet, price went up to $630 even though nothing new was discovered. His explanation was he will use stainless steel screws. When I spoke to his manager, he was very rude. Would never do business with them again.
