I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

We have used Scott Boyd plumbing ourselves and recommended them to my mother and our son for various jobs. Here's the first unique thing - they answer the phone!! Number 2 thing is this( wait for it) they actually show up when they say they will.. I know most of you will call bs on that, but it's 100% true!! We have been stood up by various plumbers ( yeah you know who you are) so many times I still can't believe these guys show up!! And if they have the parts , they fix what needs fixed. And what they charge is really reasonable. Nice people, decent prices, good work. And don't forget- they actually SHOW UP! So if you want a totally new experience- give these guys a call.

Frank has helped me with several jobs over the past year and I'm thankful to have him. He's my go-to residential plumber because he's honest, prompt, and professional. One more than one occasion, he's saved me money by telling me how to fix it on my own. Other times, he's saved me money by telling me not to fix it on my own! But every time, the job gets done and gets done right. He's got me as a customer for life, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good plumber.

Two guys came out and snaked the mainline, work was prompt and was successful. They also replaced some old galvanized valves. In general I was very pleased with their work, speed, and cost. Major drawback was that payment is still done by paper/cash/ mail.

Showed up halfway between their estimated time that they told me they'd be at the house. I'm happy they sent two very pleasant guys to help me out. I needed to get a sink drain unclogged in our new house as well as check our basement water tank, as the inspector had noticed it was leaking.
They walked me through everything that needed fixed and were pretty fast with their fixes too. The bill didn't break the bank and I would most definitely use them again.

Had an appointment for 8:30 this morning for an estimate. Now 10 am...No show and no phone call. They have certainly demonstrated their standard of non-commitment to the customer.

Did really good work for a good price however I found a chip in the sink but I didn't find it until after the glass shower door were installed by a different company so I didn't know where it came from so I told him that I knew Lowe's would exchange the sink for free and it was free but he charged me 680.00 dollars to install the whole vanity, sink and faucet and he charged me 326.00 dollars just to swap the sink out and the sink was free get a price before he does the work!!! 33

They ripped me off! Completely screwed up my AC and then wanted me to pay them to fix their mistake! I had heard that they are a sleazy company and now I know for sure. Use anybody, and I mean anybody other than Mitchell plumbing!

Avoid this plumbing company like the plague.
The heat in my apartment stopped working last winter ('10). The highest temperature my apartment could reach was 63 degrees, which was manageable for sleeping, but way too cold during the day.
Each time you schedule an appointment with them, they give you a four-hour window when they will show up. Not only that, but once they show up, it could be for another hour or two. You essentially need to take the entire day off from work, sitting in your cold house for these guys to show up.
I had to call these guys three times to come to my house.
First time: The guy reset the heater. it worked for about a day and stopped working again.
Second time: The guy said the heater was working fine, just that I had to put new AA batteries in my thermostat. Unfortunately, I had to wait for four hours for the guy (he showed up close to noon), and I had to take off for some afternoon meetings, though I found out that evening it was still not working.
Third time: I was really busy at work, so ended up scheduling my appointment for almost a week later. They still made me wait for about 3 hours.
Finally, they got the heat working after three visits! But then, in the summer, I noticed my air conditioner was dripping water! Water was leaking off the ceiling and down the walls. A guy came again and it turns out they had not properly replaced some pan! So, in total, it took them four visits to get everything fixed.
