Best Flame Sensor Repair in Phoenix AZ
I checked with a few companies to help flush my water heater. Hays was prompt to respond and came out the very next day. Fairly priced and friendly staff. Highly recommend

I can't begin to say how grateful I am to have Hansen Family Plumbing as our go to plumbing service! We dont have many issues but when we need something installed, fixed or repaired, Erik and his team have ALWAYS been OUTSTANDING! Today we had the pleasure to meet Zack! Zack and his working partner went above and beyond. I wasn't home but he communicated very well with me. I trust not only Zack, but any of Erik's team members to be in my home when i cant be there.
When it comes to supporting the local businesses, this is one service i am 100% proud to say i use when needed.
Thank you to Hansen Family Plumbing for always taking good care of our plumbing needs.
(Is there a way to sneak in an extra star to give you a 6 Star Rating?). I would if i could!

We hired Hobaica to replace a 5-ton heating and cooling unit on our home and to rerun some duct work. Jose, Ryan and Jimmy were very courteous, respectful of and careful with our home, and did the work on time and below the estimate we agreed to. Great. Quality work.

I called this company for a bathroom vent install. I have no attic or crawl space so the job wasn't easy (plus my nephew had already removed the old unit so there was just a hole in the ceiling). Two men from the company responded the same day I called, did the job, and cleaned up after themselves. And the price was very reasonable. I had previously received a quote for $1,100 and one for $1,200 and Hope Refrigeration did the job for $150.00.
I can't find the words to tell you how pleased I was with their help. As a single woman, I've had bad luck with contractors, but HOPE REFRIGERATION is truly a five star company and I would (and will) recommend them to anyone.

Dukes of Air has been to my house twice. The first time was in March for maintenance. Kalem was great. No one likes to hear something needs to be done and you have to pay more money. He took the time to explain the status with each piece and the probable outcomes of action vs non-action on them. Some it made sense to act now while others were more of a heads up so no need to do anything.
Late one afternoon last week the downstairs a/c fuse breaker tripped and I couldn't reset it. My first thought was to call an electrician and couldn't get one to either answer or had the time to come out. It was suddenly past closing for most places with no luck. I tried handymen and asking friends for names/numbers with still no success. Finally, at 9pm I jumped on Yelp and messaged Dukes... within minutes Tonya replied saying they could get someone out the next day (I just needed to call the office in the morning). I called when they opened and they were able to fit me in.
Anthony came out and was actually even a little early! He also took the time to talk through the set up as he looked at it and what went wrong when he found it. He spent a lot of time in our HOT attic with no complaints, just a positive attitude and a desire to get us cool again. Once it was going, he wasn't in a rush to get out. He stayed to make sure it was going and the temperature was going down.
My only knock is I wish they offered a payment set up for their service plans. I wanted to sign up for the 3 year plan in March but would've had to pay for the whole thing at once. If that changes.... sign me up!

It was necessary to replace the toilets in my master bathroom, which has travertine flooring, and my guest bathroom, which has carpeting. I had been putting off doing the replacements as I was concerned that the new toilets would not occupy the same footprint as the old ones, which were 40+ years old. The PlumbSmart technicians exceeded all reasonable expectations in terms of situating the new fixtures. As PlumbSmart has done excellent work for us in the past, I should have known that there would be no installation problems. Plumbing problems can be a nightmare, so it's good to have a reliable company like PlumbSmart ready to provide help when needed.

Jose came out for an annual check up for our AC. (We had only been customers for about a year). He checked it out and made two recommendations. I hesitated but accepted the recommendations, and I'm so glad I did. He installed an improved capacitor and a 3ton hard start kit.
Now the unit (right outside our bedroom) is so quiet it can be difficult to tell if it's running. Plus the unit is not working so hard and should experience a longer life.
I trust Jose and Yavapai Plumbing and Heating to make truly helpful recommendations, not just for the sake of making a sale.
We now use them for heating AND plumbing.

We had them come out to give us a bid on a very basic 2.5 ton 14 seer AC unit. It is a second unit for a less populated side of the house so basic is all we needed. WOW as the salesmen said we are not the cheapest. That was an understatement. They are very experience. Like 4-5 thousand over our lowest bids from other countries companies. Not sure how they stay in business.

I recently received a postcard mail promo and booked TH to perform a whole house plumbing inspection and water heater replacement. My wife was present for the inspection as I was out of town on the scheduled day.
During the service call, wife was informed that our water heater drain valve was corroded shut and therefore couldn't be drained. She was told that it was overdue for replacement due to its age, as it was made in 2003. So my wife authorized them to provide replacement quotes.
When I returned home, I reviewed the quotes and took a look at the water heater. The plumber misidentified the water heater model, somehow overlooking the sticker on the tank stating that it was built in 2013. 9 years is well within the realm of service life for water heaters, so that was one deduct for competence.
The two quotes I received were for $2200 and $3200, for mid and top tier electric conventional replacements. I work in commercial construction, so I did a little bit of research before calling to discuss the quote with their office. The average install price in AZ for a water heater is in the neighborhood of $1500, and $2000+ is possible for higher end units.
Their quotes were not as detailed as I expected, but there were a few red flags that I picked up on. They included gas piping work that doesn't apply to electric heaters, and one of the main differences in their quote tiers was for replacement of the copper shut off valves - that they would have to replace anyway. My current unit height isn't a standard height anymore, and the shut off valves are within the space that would be occupied by a replacement unit. The salesman tried stating that the premium cost buys me a company with a solid reputation (3 stars on 5 yelp ratings is solid??), and extended warranties on the heater, parts and labor. The labor warranty offer was indeed higher than average, but still is outside of the price range I'm comfortable with. I asked the salesman if they were willing to take a look at their numbers, refine them to align with what I know to be a reasonable price target, and provide an updated proposal to earn our business. He stated that he would, and get back to me in a few days. That was last Tuesday.
I called on Friday, and the receptionist told me the salesman was in a meeting and would call me back. I received no call back, so I called again this morning. I asked the receptionist to simply have the salesman call me and tell me if they were able to find something that would work, or not, so I could pivot to another option. I was told the same thing as Friday, that I would get a call before the end of the day. That hasn't happened, so I'm posting this to hopefully save someone else from wasting their time.
If you want to be gouged on one of the most basic home plumbing repairs that anyone with basic copper piping and household electrical knowledge could DIY in exchange for not having a labor warranty, or be given the runaround by a salesman rather than being shown the basic decency of returning a committed call, Tucker Hill is the plumber for you. If you want to find the best value for your hard earned money, I suggest looking elsewhere. I wish I had seen Jessica's review below before scheduling, it sounds like she had the same takeaway.
By the way - talked to the plumbing subcontractor on my project today. He confirmed that $1,500 - $2,000 is the ballpark I can expect to be in and that he just completed the same size job as mine for that last week.
