Best Air Duct Cleaning in Orlando FL
I am always happy with nick's service. He is professional and polite, traits that are hard to come by in these times. He is always on time and takes care of everything quickly and with care. He knows his job and I can always depend on him. He has been the person who has serviced my AC and my daughter's AC for many, many years and I hope he will remain at the pro - tech company for many more years. I look forward to his service because I know it will be complete. Thank you for having such a great employee.

In 2005 i had a new A/C installed, in 2015 it quite working, I called Pro-Tech and the Tech came out, and after examining the A/C determined it was the dual capacitor. He installed a new one. The total bill was $634.44 including a Warranty for $145.21 which has no length of time. Since i have Asthma from Allergies i was desperate. It was paid in Full. Going forward to Aug 8, 2017 the A/C quite working again. They could not get to me until Tues. The Tech came out and examined the A/C until and said it was the dual capacitor one half controls the fan. Even though i paid for a warranty i am not sure what it was for? It was $ 200.00 For a Capacitor from AmRad. Which has a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY,. meaning Pro-tech charged me $200.00 took my Capacitor and AmRad exchanges it for a new one from Pro-Tech. I know i called AmRad, it is a Florida Company in the Palm Coast. Part of this is my fault for not checking further into this Company, and also not questioning the Warranty that i paid for. I used them the second time, because i was sure it was the Capacitor and figured it was under warranty since it was less then two years. Pro-tech got $ 834.44 from me on a capacitor that cost maybe $25.00 , and charging me for a warranty that is useless. I wrote to Tom Nixon President but have not heard back. I am trying to help others like these other reviews to make sure no one falls prey to Pro-Tech.

With a heat index of 100 degrees they even brought in portable ACs just to make it bearable. I can't thank everyone there enough for making a very uncomfortable situation bearable. I recommend this company to anyone in need of air conditioning repair - just don't expect a miracle in the heat of a bad situation. Thanks again Janet for keeping us all cool.

I was quoted $19 for them to come out and diagnose an issue on 6 year AC. I told them my AC fan keeps working nonstop even when I turn it to automatic. As the repair guy worked to diagnose the issue he was oh $80 to do this and a few minutes later $281 in total just for the extra steps to diagnose. And the results of his diagnosis replace the compressor coil ($2000 minus the 280) if we do it with them. I felt conned by the way the true cost was unveiled. Going cheap turned out truly expensive!! More expensive then the competitors with $99 to $69 flat rate prices.
This is what I learned. 1. ask what does that price include, would I be charge extra for diagnosis, is it a flat rate to diagnose the problem b/c it turns out the other competitors charge $99 or $68 to diagnose. 2. Next time forget it when they add extra tell them put it back how it was and just pay the $20 and send them on there way. 3. I also learned that this company is not a Lennox AC certified dealer (Lennox AC I have).
So far I got another company, certified lennox dealer and it cost me $99 for them to diagnose and $280 to replace the AC Fan thingy (don't remember the name of it) but I trust them more for saying $99 and charging me $99.

I have used Service One several timesal times in the past. Generally speaking they were responsive, repaired my AC and cost was as expected. I contacted them directly for a quote on repairing 2 toilets. Tech came and actively sought to build up the bill. Final quote was $750. I thought this was exhorbitant and declined. Paid them $49 trip charge.
Tech was rude when I declined.
Service One responded here to Yelp. Declined.
Went to Home Depot and purchased 2 Glacier Bay double flush elongated toilets on sale at $99 each!! Hired a handyman and paid $160 to install
