Absolute dishonest and bunch of looters. I will not recommend this company. If you do call, make sure you have at least $180.00 ready for them to tell you that it will take 6 more hours to solve the problem.

I contacted USHAC because of my trusty, fellow Yelpers. Yelp isn't just for restaurants, you know! :) Anyway, my AC had been acting up for a few weeks and finally quit. I was really frustrated, considering it was about 90 degrees in my house during the day time. I called and set up an appointment, and they were there that morning, first thing. What I didn't realize, however, is that it would not be fixed that day, only diagnosed. They had to order a part.
They finally called me back later on that day to schedule the follow-up appointment. They told me they could come that next Monday, not before the weekend. This was unacceptable, and I told them if they didn't figure out how to come BEFORE the weekend that I'd find someone else to do the repair. They found someone to come the very next afternoon. This is really the only reason why I gave them three stars instead of more. You can't tell me that a heating and air conditioning repair company doesn't have enough techs to cover Orlando during this time of year. And my initial appointment was on a Wednesday morning, so it's not as though I waited until the last minute to call and have them fix it. When you need a repair such as this in order to not ROAST TO DEATH IN YOUR OWN HOUSE, sometimes you have to put your foot down and demand service...especially at $70 for *just* the diagnostic visit.
With a heat index of 100 degrees they even brought in portable ACs just to make it bearable. I can't thank everyone there enough for making a very uncomfortable situation bearable. I recommend this company to anyone in need of air conditioning repair - just don't expect a miracle in the heat of a bad situation. Thanks again Janet for keeping us all cool.

My ceiling has been damaged by the techs while installing the new handler. I got my system early March and reported the damage along with sending photos to the salesman. It is now April 6, 2023. No one has contacted me yet about this cosmetic damage. It shouldn't be this hard to get feedback from the company.
My home warranty company placed a service call with this company to check out my AC that was not cooling properly.
I had an appointment for Wednesday between 2 and 5 PM.
At 3 PM on Wednesday I called to confirm the appointment. They said I was the technicians next call.
At 5 PM I had not heard a thing from the company or technician. I called and they siad he was on the way. I asked for the tech to call me for an ETA.
At 5:30 I called again and let them know I had not heard from their tech and he was currently 30 mins late. They said they he was on his way and they would have him call me with an ETA.
At 6 PM I called and cancelled the appointment. They claimed that the tech was on his way from Kissimmee, my condo is in Daytona Beach.
If you promiss a customer that you will be at their home between 2 and 5 and you can't be there by 5 you should call and tell the customer that you will be late. I called twice to have them contact the tech so I would know how much longer I would be kept waiting. They did not even have the common decency to place a phone call to let me know they were running late. When I called and asked for an ETA I got nothing but the run around.
I called my home warranty company and cancelled the call. I also asked for US Heating and Air to be removed from the list of company's that they use for repair work.
This was the worst experience I have ever had from any A/C company in my life!
I would not reccommend this company based on my experience.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Don't use these people. The only thing worse than their work is their customer service. The only reason I used them is because they are contracted through my home warranty company. They came out initially last Friday because we had been having issues with flickering lights and then our AC and dryer wouldn't work. When they came out I showed the tech the issue as pointed out by the power company, a burnt out lug (or something like that) in the meter. He looked inside and out and then told me he was not comfortable turning on my power and that he couldn't fix the issue that day. We were going to be out of town for the weekend already so I wasn't too concerned. They scheduled us for the first appointment on Monday and I later called the office to get clarification of just what time they would be there and was told 8am. I took the day off work and I rushed home (we stayed at a relatives since we didn't have electricity) to be there for the 8am appointment. At about 8:40, after no one showed and no one from the company called I called the office and a not so friendly woman told me the tech was on his way and should be at my house within 20 mins (so 9am, not 8 as I had been told). The same tech came out and spent the first hour getting the low down on another techs weekend before he got started. Finally at 3pm, they finished wiring from the main line to the panel and we flipped the switch and the house came to life, all except the dryer. He left and everything seemed fine until later last night when the lights started to flicker when the AC went on. Thinking it was just an issue with the AC, we shut it off. But the flickering continued and then our house went dark. We checked the panel and to my surprise nothing was tripped, which concerned me. How in the world did our lights and electricity stop and yet it looks like everything is fine. It was then I started to get concerned about safety, especially when my bedside lamp flickered on and off, even though it was switched off. I noticed some things were still on and working, our fridge and an outlet charging my cell phone. I called USHAC and their answering service told me they would relay the message and someone would call me right back. 30 minutes later, we still had yet to get a call back. I again called the answering service and about 15 mins later I received a call back. The woman didn't seem to know what she was doing though. She kept asking me to repeat my experience and it sounded like she was writing it word for word. She said she would have a tech out to us, but that he was located in Winter Springs, so it would take 30 mins for him to get to us. Over an hour later someone arrived and proceeded to talk on his cell phone for another 30 mins in my front yard before coming in (still on the phone and telling someone in Spanish that he was at work). Super unprofessional and rude. He looked at the work that had been done thoroughly and said he could not get our electricity back on because they hadn't replaced the part in the meter I originally pointed out. He said someone would be out first thing in the morning to replace it, but again, no one came by or called. I finally called them and the dispatcher said she didn't have any knowledge of the issue and would call me back. 30 mins later she still had not called me back, so I called her. They dispatched someone with the part we needed and finally 5 days after I reported the issue it was fixed. I am not sure how companies with bad customer service and who don't fix issues the first time stay in business. Do yourself a favor and use another company.
Spent hours on the phone with American Home Shield trying to get service because I have no hot water. I said several times that this was an emergency. We even did a three-way call and they said a technician would be calling that day. After waiting 3 hours, I called US Heating&AC and they refused to assist. I have since cancelled my contract with American Home Shield, and I will never do business with US Heating and Air Conditioning!!
I am very disappointed to know that this company does not do background checks. Allowing service techs within your home with a record. Kirby thompson truck number 250 is Currently working for this company after trying to kidnap a child. How does this company allow this type of person to work in your home. Not getting jobs done efficiently and in a timely manner after claiming his father died, when in fact he is very much alive. Allowing this man to use their company van for personal use. This man is not a good look on this company and they are still allowing him to work. If they hire a man like this and continue to employ him, they Do not care about your safety In your own home. This man should be fired. Period.

I bought a whole house Ac Unit 3 years ago, they installed obviously some damaged one, the noise from it is so loud, it already broke 3 times, once the inside unit crashed from bad installation and 2 times the outside body. Now the compressor is up to be changed, and not only they refuse to find the warranty for it but asking to charge 2000$ just in labor for it when average for Orlando is 600 to a 1000. Bad workers, bad installation, bad unit and bad customer service. Do not go to them!!!
I recently bought a house and one of the things it needed was a new air handler and compressor. I sent a few messages out on Yelp, pretty late in the day, and USHAC was the first to respond. I waited for some other initial quotes but decided on USHAC. Through out the whole process everyone was really nice and answered any questions I had.
For the product they offer I'd say the price was fair compared to other local companies. When replacement day came, the crew arrived on time and got everything done in the time they said it was take. The next day, I noticed one of the panels wasn't flush and called them about it. They came out the same day to take care of it for me.
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is due to one of the inspections they scheduled with me. I had to come home early from work to be there in the time range they gave me. The tech ended up not showing in that time and an hour after I called to see if anyone was coming. The tech eventually arrived, but a heads up about a late arrival would have been nice. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Terrible service, worse customer service. I've had the misfortune of dealing with this company three times. I have a home warranty, and that company lists USH&A as one of their service providers. The first time they came out to look at my leaking water heater, the service technician told me that the city (Oviedo) was sending too much pressure to the house, this triggered the pressure release valve, so the water had to be turned off. I called the city, and they sent a rep out within 10-15 minutes. The service technician for USH&A got in his truck, drove about three houses down from mine, and pulled over to the curb and parked. He refused to speak with the City's rep (would not get out of his truck!!!) who said it was impossible that the city was sending too much pressure and only my house was affected (if the city was sending too much pressure -most, if not all houses would be affected). He ended up driving off, and I was left with a leaking water heater. I had to turn off the water to the house, all this while having both bathrooms re-tiled. Horrible inconvenience. They sent a second rep out a day or two later who diagnosed a completely different problem and ended up rebuilding the pipes that lead from the heater to the house.
I have just called the warranty company about another issue - one of the heating elements seems to be out - and have unfortunately been forwarded to USH&A. Their answering service incorrectly told me they had Saturday appointments - which they do not - so I scheduled for Tuesday between 10am - 1pm. Less than 24 hours before this appointment, they call and leave a message that they have rescheduled for 2pm - 5pm (or thereabouts). I have totally rescheduled my workday around the original appointment - I know things happen and sometimes cannot be avoided, but when I called to ask for the original appointment time back due to the fact it does not fit in with the schedule that I totally re-worked to meet the original appointment, the supervisor told me What do you want me to do about it?'. If this is the type of service and customer service you expect, please do call USH&A!
Called them for fridge hook up, told them I will need to connect waterline from under the sink, no one was sent for estimates prior to the plumber. So the plumber came end up couldn't do anything because he doesn't have the parts needed, he was here for about 30 min, gave me a quote of the work will need to be done and left, said he is not charging anything. two days later, got a call from the company says I owe them 178 dollars, I reasoned with them, they still insisted had to charge me at least $89 because the technician came to my house. It was ridiculous, no work done and just robbed me for $89
Terrible customer service. Beware any American Home Shield customer who gets assigned this company. The first technician who was sent out to evaluate the AC told me that both coils were leaking and he recommended that my outside and inside units be replaced. FOUR days later a second technician was sent out to evaluate my unit because more information was needed. This time the technician told me that nothing was wrong with the unit and the first tech must have cleared the drainage line bc the AC is running. Yes it was running but there was barely any air being pushed through the vents inside. I called AHS and they put a recall order in with this same company. For a third time I was asked to schedule an appointment and take time off of work. I was promised an 8am due to that fact that they needed to come out for a third time. My appointment came and went and I didn't receive a call. I called them and was told my appointment was between 9-12pm. When I explained everything above and my disappointment I was told I'm sorry but your appointment is between 9-12. No attempt to rectify or acknowledge that a mistake was made. I called AHS and filed a complaint and canceled my service request with this company.
Worst service I've ever received. Multiple rescheduled appts by them..this was for a leaking toilet and 1 gasket..almost a month later they call and break another appt.
I contacted manager Robert Torres and he assured me a callback same day..did NOT HAPPEN.
Do not use this company!!

This is a letter of praise for USHAC.
I live in a house that was built in 1972. The plumbing was installed according to the code that was in effect back then. The kitchen drain is a bit troublesome to clear and needs to be snaked to the septic tank, which is about 70 feet of pipe.
My kitchen drain was clogged and although it took some extraordinary effort to clear it, USHAC did a great job. I recommend USHAC100%. They were punctual, accommodating, diligent and courteous throughout their efforts to take care of my plumbing issues. They also did a great job with a shower faucet replacement, commode seal, flusher replacement and waste disposal installation.
Thank you very much for all your good work.

They came into my apartment complex to replace the plumbing as part of a complex wide renovation project. They were in my apartment for several days and until the second to last there was no issue. On the second to last they needed to access the attic space through my closet. They destroyed my closet. Clothes on the floor, drywall and fiberglass insulation all over everything, and a collectable I was storing in there since it was so large damaged. Even the structure of the building was damaged, the frame around the panel to enter the attic space is cracked in multiple places. I can provide pictures of all of this. They have utterly refused to take responsibility for any of the damages. I was called a liar, told I caused the damage, and hung up on when I attempted to contact them.
When my apartment complex attempted to deal with them they were told the only way I was getting compensation was if I took them to court. They refuse to provide their insurance information, something I have every right to request and was advised by my insurance to seek. I'm currently looking into my legal options and will be contacting lawyers as I try to assess if it's even worth the fees associated with suing them to take them to court, but the utter professionalism and disregard for myself and my property is staggering. Do not trust them with your home, they may destroy it and then call you a liar when you try to make them take responsibility.

Yep. I recommended them to a friend because of the previous yelp review. She was thrilled with their service and wanted me to yelp about them and give my seal of approval. I will use them whenever I need this type of service.
I have used U.S. Heating & Air for years, but will not do so again. A few days ago, I had my 2 ac units serviced, was told that they looked good and were in good working order. I subsequently purchased different sized ac filter, at the suggestion of the technician, but was unable to replace because the screws on the air handler were tightened to extreme. One unit has stopped working days after being serviced and the company wants to charge me an $97 service fee, for something it's tech likely did. I left a message for the Manager, with no returned call.
As for AC service this company is the best I have worked with. Their techs and the office personnel is great. Alex is the best. She cares for the customer, she offers the help and follows up. When she tells you we can not be there for whatever reason she calls you and let you know. Ryan Ellis is an incredible person, he knows his stuff and asks your needs then to move up to talk about what AC unit we would need. Alex thanks for all you do for me. They had service my AC and finally gave up. Other companies just came and go and charged me an arm and a leg, not fair.
Tomorrow they are coming to install a new unit, they recommended Daikin and the warranty and labor for 12 years was a decision maker, but also for Ryan and for Alex. Thank you both. I have yet to see the installation of the new unit. For that, I will write another review. I hope that the installers and installation go smooth.

Terrible service, constant pushbacks on confirmed appointments. My apartment complex uses this company and they've missed 3 different appointments in the last week and another one this morning to replace the ac unit currently installed in my apartment. If you have any other choice, take your business elsewhere.

Hi, Very Disappointed, My experience with this company was not good at all, first there are no operators to answer the calls, all the calls go to same tech that come to your place. Second he told me it is going to cost me $850.00 to fix my fan that was not blowing for our heater, which to me sound like a lot, then after negotiating I got him down to $650.00 ??? He said, he is going to buy the parts and will be back in an hour, did not show up for three hours and when i asked him why, said had to go long distant to buy the parts??? After he showed up and start working at the unit he came up with a new cost for something else, so he added $100.00 more to the cost. After a week or so we realized that every time the heater goes on the AC also start with it and we get kind of clod air at first and then heat goes on, so I contacted him and after ten days he showed up, and blame the age of the unit to this malfunction , I was very upset that he never mention it when he was fixing it , and now my AC is also not working because all the Freon gas is gone. So his solution was to get a new AC and heating system for $4500.00 in top of what I already paid him which would bring the total to $5250.00 and if he would not come up with another extra charge out of his sleeves. I give him and US Air/Heating ONE STAR and that's only because he was very punctual at our first appointment..
We bought a hot water hater from them last year and the thermostats went bad after a little more than a year. Out of desperation I agreed to have them replace both thermostats not realizing at the time that they were grossly overpriced. It took the tech about 30 minutes to replace them both and cost over $600. The part costs $20 so they really must be paying their techs a lot of money or ripping people like me off.....shop around!

My apartment building called USHAC to fix a major back up in my plumbing. They sent a plumber out that day. He removed my toilets and told me that a high pressure hose needed to be used, and then left. About 3 hours later, another plumber from the same company came, and noticed that my toilets had been removed and said, I can't use the high pressure hose until the toilets are put back on,or we will have a mess. He then went outside and used the high pressure hose anyway. Less than 1 minute later, I had 2 inches of urine, water, and fecal matter throughout my apartment. They sent someone out to clean up the mess 4 hours later. But the damage had been done. At least $3,000.00 worth of damage had been done to my property alone (not including carpet, walls, and flooring). I was displaced with 3 children and a dog for 3 days. And they thought $500 should be enough payment for what they put me through. Even after all of this, the plumbing problem was not fixed for another week,
This company was contracted through my home warranty company for a plumbing issue. On three occasions, I was informed that US Heating and Air contacted me to inform me of the appointment change which is 100% not true. I received one call and did reschedule the appointment for the next day but it appears that time was moved as well without my knowledge.
Meanwhile, I have adjusted my schedule to make sure that I am here for a scheduled appointment. I am not sure about the quality of their service because I have yet to get them back out to my home to complete the repair but I am sure that the integrity and honesty of the employees of US Heating and Air is very poor.
US Heating and Air is quick to answer their phones and schedule their initial consultation. I bought a home that had no air filter installed to my unit. They quoted me ~$1300 to install a filter box in my duct work, and to do preventative maintenance. I had to pay up front, and was told I would get a call from the office to confirm and setup an appointment.
I called multiple times and eventually just requested a refund. This is where they get scammy. They keep saying a manager will call me. But will not respond to actually refunding me the $1200 for services not performed.
Coincidentally my AC unit compressor failed just a few days after these guys looked at my unit. Another company, American Air and Heat, looked at it. They were able to quote me $600 for the filter box, and $90 to fix my unit. Much cheaper than US Heating and Air. They said for $1300 I could get my unit fixed, have an electric air filter installed and a black light purifier + their service agreement of 2 additional tune ups.
US Heating and Air is still yet to respond to refunding me the $1200 to not install a regular air filter on my unit. I would not recommend them to anyone.
My home warranty company contracted this company to check out a leak underneath my house. Someone from U.S. Heating and Air Conditioning called within 15 minutes to schedule an inspection between 10am and 3pm, and they said they would call when they were an hour away. Someone called half an hour later to say they would be there within 45 minutes. When the technician arrived he assessed the leak by crawling underneath the house, then he repaired the leak by accessing the bathroom plumbing through the adjacent wall in a bedroom closet. It took about an hour to repair the leak and he showed me the pipes he had replaced. He also explained that there was standing water under the house and the boards beneath the floor were black, so he suggested someone should check out the house for mold. It has turned out to be a bit of a mess, but the tech was just great about showing up, not keeping me waiting, making the repairs, and cleaning up after himself. The company is licensed contractors for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs and they offer 24 hour emergency service. The tech also said to call back if there were any additional problems because the repairs are guaranteed for 30 days. It's so nice to have repairs to my home and not feel like I'm getting ripped off!
Our A/C has been leaking and not working well so I called AHS our home warranty and the referred us to USHAC. I must say that my experience was very delightful with this company. I was told between 8-9 a.m. Jose called me a bit after 8 and told me he was on his way and would be here in 15 mins and he was. He went the extra mile and showed me what he was doing and why. I asked a lot of questions (as Im a new home owner) and he patiently answered all of them. He worked hard and efficiently so he was done by 10 a.m. He dug out our buried A/C condensation line, cleaned out the tray, put in a T pipe for maintenance, all with a smile. He recommeded that our coils be cleaned so we're waiting for approval from AHS.
I did check the reviews and I was a bit worried but I'm grateful that it all turned out fine :-)

What a horrible company. We were sent USHAC from our home warranty company to replace our water heater. At the first visit we were told an estimate of what we would be responsible for and that changed once the tech came back to replace the heater. We were being charged $125 for a connector piece that costs $17 at the hardware store. when calling to complain to the office and get refunded for that the lady was extremely rude and stated she would do nothing about the cost and that we owed another $75 fee for disposal of the old heater which was never mentioned to us. she stated if we didn't pay she would call the tech to disconnect and take back the new heater then hung up on us. So we reached out to the GM of the company who was just as bad. he also was rude stating he could charge whatever he wanted and we couldn't do anything about it and what did we care because we were getting a free heather. we have paid for the home warranty for 12 years and still paid almost 400 for the heater so in no way are we getting anything for free. he refused to budge on the bill at all. they have no customer service. no anything to make the custome happy. I have never seen a company act in such a way towards a customer. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We have used US Heat & Air for over 5 years now. We have 2 rentals and our personal home. I believe they have gotten too big and don't care any longer about serving their long time customers. I had an emergency situation arise with a rental property on a Monday (6/4/18). I called until 9:30 am and constantly got the answering service. I was told that twice they left a message for someone to return my call. I finally called Service One who was extremely helpful and got someone out that day! USHA now told me that they were transitioning their system and phone lines were dropped. The answering service should have known that and I've still not received a call from them. I did call in my complaint today personally to them. Poor business practice. They want my business but did nothing to make this matter up to me by offering me anything.

Do not use this company. My toilet was leaking and they came and did a total toilet rebuild on 12/5/13. 65 days later the leaking resumed and they did a second toilet rebuild (2/10/14). Then I complained about them to the BBB and they responded with a series of stories that did not take place. Immaturity...I am not sure what else to call it. Instead of owning up to their incompetence, they decided to weave a series of stories. Dare I say lie? I have complained about poor service in the past with another company before. They owned up to it, apologized, and reimbursed me. U.S. Heating and Air Conditioning is the first company I have ever heard responding the way it did. Trust me...Do not use this company.
Just want to warn others about this scab business. Called them because I had leaking water pipes behind my hot water heater. They finally sent a guy out. He had to remove the hot water heater to get to the portion of the wall where the pipes were located. He fixed the pipes( I hope) and put the water heater back in. 12 hours later and the pipes on the water heater start steaming and bulging.water everywhere! I called Sat morning and was told they can send someone Monday to fix what they messed up.I explained to the lady that I had to shut my water off. Basically she said it's not her problem terrible customer service! Do not let this company in your home!

AWFUL!!!! They were not our choice. Forced on us by our home warranty co. Had them out 2 years ago, in the heat of summer of course, supposedly repaired the AC and by that evening it was not working. Called them and we can't do anything until tomorrow. No regard at all for their customers. Our fan motor was making noises but still cooling last week. They came out on Friday said it was fan motor would get parts and repair. My husband took off work to meet them this am, was supposedly repaired but when we got home this evening was 87 in our home. Calle them, oh sorry have to go through Warranty Co again. I said its your, fault it's not working, it was cooling before. You broke it you inept repairman should fix it, TODAY. Nope sorry have to go thought Warranty co. I would never ever use them again or recommend them.

Excellent service and really appreciate it. Always respond with great Costumer Service. Thanks
I have used them 3 times now. For plumbing and electrical.
They are a bit expensive. 2 capacitors on the compressor for $128! With labor it came out to $218 for 30 minutes of work. I learned my lesson on that one, but at the time didn't feel like dealing with it.
The one a/c problem I had before, the condensate line was plugged (I never thought to look at that ) and he was in and out in under 20 minutes.
They do exactly what they need to quickly and properly. They are friendly and explain what is wrong. So I've always learned something.
really not happy at this point. paid $14,000 for a new unit and we are now on the 5th visit because every time they come they fix it we then have to have them return because it's not working right only to tell us oh it was our fault so again waiting on a tech. why can't you all make sure it's working right before you leave? we paid way to much money to get dicked around like this. my son just had his replaced for cheaper via Blair and it was done perfect and they even called the next day to ensure it was working right. I highly recommend not going with this company. if they ever get it working right I will edit my review some but at this point there's not much they can do to fix all my frustration. last name on the order was Halbfoster! I'm sure you can find it with that.
update it worked through the night this time. looks like the last tech let it fill with water because of something he did causing the unit to just fully shut off an hour after he left..... stop trying to be fast when fixing a problem and double check your work before leaving. there's still some wiring outside that doesn't look right (just covered by some tape and exposed to the rain) so please of getting a new ac look for a different company. we also just realized that the heater was never tested so no idea if that works right either. so again just little things that other companies seem to take care of and double check, but this one didn't.
Update now on top of everything we had to pay you all $150 to come service are new AC that still is having issues from the install and after writing you all a check for the $150 you sent it to collections? What are you mad because you all did bad work and I called you out of it? I'm starting that think your company is a scam. Clearly you aren't honoring your own warranty. You did a horrible install and you have the nerve to do that. Also I notice you respond to all the other reviews that were left except mine. I will be sure that no one I know uses your company. You all use to be the go to AC repair for my area, clearly not anymore. Really the worse service ever and being charged for something that wasn't installed right to begin with is just ridiculous.
Person was few hours late for appointment. Completely showed that he really had no idea what he was doing. Never again!
I will like to for warn people about this company. They installed 6 mini splits and two compressors for me on 3/17/22. The very next day, one of the mini splits had begun leaking in one of the bedrooms. After one month of installation, I find out that they never sent an application to the city to pull permits for the work. As a matter of fact, they failed the mechanical inspection three times. Approximately, one month post installation, I contacted the company stating that I smell water and their General Manager refused to send any one out to check my units. On Easter Sunday of this year, they finally sent a tech out and the tech said that my brand new Lennox condenser had frozen up and it's going to require hours for the system to thaw out. I got a second opinion about the condition of these units and the independent tech said I had multiple leaks, oil present at condenser heads and zero Freon in the system. To make matters worst about this company is that the licensed HVAC contractor never came to my home to check the work of the techs working under his license which is why they had three failed inspections. They even told me that I can get a full refund of 18,396 , but all of the holes that were created to do the electrical and mechanical work, they will refuse to repair. So, one of the managers offered me a partial refund if I decided to keep the units , but now they are playing stupid about my refund. So, don't use them because they may or may not pull permits which is illegal. In the State of Florida, prior to the start of work, they were supposed to contact the city and they didn't. Also, the person with the license to do the work, he will Not be showing up to verify that the work was done correctly. Last, since March 17,2022 , post installation, they had been out to my home five times. I had to pay another HVAC company to diagnose why my New mini splits are malfunctioning. It got so bad that the tech had to reboot the condenser from outside to get the units to work. I have documented paperwork and videos of all of their sloopy work.

The technicians came during the time frame promised and were very cordial. My unit started working the way it should when they came which is how things tend to happen, but they still did a full diagnostic. The only thing that gave me pause about this visit was the the new unit sales pitch. I am aware that my unit is at the end of life, but I know that it doesn't need to be replaced immediately. I appreciated the insight on the products that they offer, but I don't like being sold something that I don't absolutely need at the moment. I typically have my system serviced once a year by various companies and I've never had them try to sell me a new unit. They typically tell me to ride it until the wheels fall off :). I appreciated the courteous and prompt service, but can do without the the immediate sales job.
My Yelp estimate ended up being less than 1/2 of what I was charged. Although the people were polite and friendly, I got charged for time while I chatted with the plumber. One of the toilets is still not adjusted properly, so I'll have to fix it myself. I called twice to speak to someone about the bill, and to obtain a receipt. Result: No receipt and no return call. Cannot recommend in good conscience. Sorry.
Awful, awful company. Worked on the AC unit in the downstairs apartment and next thing I have water and dirt spewing out of my unit. Guy tells me not to worry that he will come back and fix it if anything happens... Fast forward a few weeks and my AC breaks so I call them and ask them to come check it out, like they said they would, and they proceeded to tell me I would be charged. The woman was extremely rude on the phone to me so I asked for a manager. Owner, billy, comes on the phone and i begin to explain the situation. He was disgustingly rude and incompetent and kept cutting me off and would not let me speak. When I told him I was told I would not be charged, the owner told me the other guy would have to come out on his own time as he wouldn't pay for him to come and that he doesn't work for free and he hung up the phone on me. Way to run a business, billy.
My AC stopped working and I called my Home Warranty company Old Republic. They sent the service order to US Heating AC and Refrigeration.
While the actual technician who provided the initial evaluation and installation of the part was polite, the people at customer service were rude, ignorant and impossible to work with. The response time was always slow. I was told I would get a service call on Monday, but then some extremely offensive woman with an attitude called me back and said it was TOO HOT for the technician and he would not come till the following morning. When I protested she HUNG UP ON ME!
They showed no compassion for the fact that I had no AC in a house with 3 small children. There was no use of common sense to ask me if I wanted to pay a little extra to have the part rush ordered and when I questioned this bad judgement I was screamed at by a disgusting person who claimed to be the manager & said he did not care at all about how miserable and hot we were. He then HUNG UP ON ME TOO! Because the part was under warranty I had no choice but to use this cowboy company.
It was only because the home warranty company who had selected this company got involved that I had AC back by late Friday- they were ok waiting till Monday- essentially leaving us for an entire week with a 95 degree house! I would NEVER use them again and I suggest everyone else stay well clear of them. In this economy it is very sad that really bad customer service is still tolerated and this company stays in business. I am going to do my best to get them struck off the list of vendors with the home warranty company for the way they treated me.
Believe the poor reviews on this site...they are dead on! The people in customer service are unbelievable. They will yell over you on the phone & they show no commitment to getting your AC fixed even in the worst of Orlando's summer heat. I will never ever use them again. I can't see how they are even in business unless they are fully reliant upon people like myself who get suckered into working with them through the home warranty company. My technician was actually very pleasant & seemed to care about doing a good job. The 'ladies' in dispatch and customer service are the real problem. They are unresponsive, disgruntled, & clearly do not care about the value of the service they are providing. Customers are apparently a mere annoyance to them, no matter how much $ you are forking out for their services (which I later found out is much higher than many of their competitors). My advice would be to look around & do everything you can to avoid working with this company.
