Best Gas Furnace Repair in Oakland CA
The Albert Nahman Plumber who came out to my house looked at the pipes and gave me a whopper of a quote saying he couldn't clear my drain without punching holes in my rusty pipes. Well my new favorite plumber came and cleared the stoppage and quoted me LESS than 20% of the price... The pipes were rusty. That much was true. But I'd get a second opinion if I were you.

Great professional service. I had to change my appointment date and time and they were very accommodating and Joey was on time, courteous and great about explaining what was wrong. I definitely recommend them for your plumbing and heating needs.

Rey and his team are amazing. Super professional and kept to their quote. Even fixed a problem that was out of scope and an issue inherent to the house. Did a super job. Would recommend them to anybody and will use them for future work.

Jazz Heating did an excellent job! From scheduling the estimate with their office staff to walking through the request with Stephan. I felt comfortable and well informed throughout the process. The entire staff was very friendly and professional.
On-site team - led by Tony and Sal were very knowledgeable. They were all able to answer any questions that I had during the job. The team was efficient and focused from start to finish. The job site was clean after completion and we are loving the heat.
Great job!! I would highly recommend Jazz Heating to everyone.

My Family and I are warm and comfortable in our home again thanks to Supreme Plumbing and Heating.
Our heating system went out and we called a General Contractor friend of ours, who without hesitation referred us to Supreme.
We called and they came to the rescue.
They were very professional, courteous, timely, knowledge, efficient and reasonably priced.
We would strongly recommend and encourage that you to give them an opportunity to earn your business...They absolutely earned ours!

Have been dealing with slow running pipes in upstairs shower and tub ever since the 90s. Consider myself somewhat handy, so devised my own methods to deal with it and the old piping over the years, putting off that the piping probably needs to be changed out. Well last week, my maintenance remedies no longer worked, and my shower in one room and tub in the other room, would not drain at all. So, after messing with it for years, I decided to call in the pros. I wanted to keep my money in the local economy, so called Dimond Plumbing and Heating. Got a call back from Michael, who explained he was booked for now, but with the info I left him on the phone, he began to chat with me and ask questions about my situation. He ended up giving me his years of experience on my issue, as well tips from being familiar with the houses in the area. After about a 20 minute phone call, he left me with what his best recommendation was to fix my problem! I was blown away! He could not take the job, but basically did, as he told me what he thought needed to be done! What extraordinary customer service! Now here is the kicker: 2 days later, he called me back and left a voicemail asking if I had done what we discussed, and if it worked! Wow! You just don't see that type of service anymore. Since his recommendation DID work, I am sorry that the only payment he gets from helping me is this rating, but believe me.......if I have any future plumbing or heating issues that I can't tackle, you know who I will be calling! Thanks Michael! You are a class act!

Couldn't have had a better experience. Ron is punctual, efficient, and friendly, and got the work done quickly and inexpensively. What more can you ask for?

Simple storm drain issue, has some roots between clean out and the exposed drain in my dry well. Two yahoos show up, that hardly know which end of their snake is the business end. They quote me $1200, snake the line, pull out a few roots and tell me there is nothing else they can do. Then charge me 3.5% on top for paying on a credit card. They don't have a different snake that can clear out the roots without me paying several more hundred dollars and signing a waiver that if they cut my pipe in the process it isn't their fault. I can't ever recommend this company. They just don't have expertise.

Only four stars because the first guy that came around did not correctly diagnose the problem with my wall gas heater: the whole thing needed to be replaced, not just the thermostat. But Jim, the second tech with 29 years experience, did. He came on a Saturday and gave me a thorough explanation that had as much to do with my own safety as comfort.
Overall, this seems like a well-run company with excellent customer service. Melinda is nice and competent and will call you and let you know when their people are going to show up.
Note: I am a renter, so I can't say whether $175 for a service call or $2k to replace the heater is reasonable or not.

We had a new furnace installed after many estimates, much research and long conversations about best furnace models etc. We chose Harry Clark because their estimate was right in the middle of all the estimates received and they were very responsive with answering questions etc. The installation team was awesome and had our new furnace installed quickly.
The York multi-phase furnace is everything we wanted - super quiet, highly efficient and well priced. I am glad that I listened to Brian's advice and went with the York. The York has a bad rep as its initial rollout was rocky. Those issues have been rectified and as I looked at the dates of all the bad reviews I could see that they all matched the initial 1-3/4 years that the model rolled out. We got the York multi-phase furnace (read more quiet and more energy efficient) for the same price as a Bryant 2 phase. We couldn't be happier.
A few months later we had Harry Clark install a new instant hot water heater. We went with their recommendation to replace our non-condensing model that was 16 years old, with an AO Smith condensing model that we ended up hating. The noise and vibration from the condenser sounded like a small airplane in the house - and after some tweeks by the manufacturer the plane was reduced to a motor boat taking off whenever we turned on the hot water. When the dishwasher was running at night the vibrations from the hot water tank would vibrate through the bed... It was not a happy situation at all.
Brad (the owner) at Harry Clark listened to our concerns, came out himself, sent the company rep twice, and when all of that ultimately did not resolve the noise/vibration issue, they swapped out the condensing heater for an AO Smith non condensing hot water heater and voila! The noise is gone! The vibrations are gone! It is heaven to turn on the hot water and not hear any thing but... well, water! While the situation was not ideal, Harry Clark was committed to getting it right and they did.
For anyone looking into instant hot water heaters, if you have a smaller wood frame home I would strongly recommend going with a non-condensing model. It is literally silent while running. As a hot water heater should be.
Thanks Harry Clark for sticking with us! We will absolutely use you again - great customer service and thank you for truly backed up your commitment to providing customer satisfaction.

Had our hvac system replaced and a couple minor issues fixed afterwards. Happy with the service overall. Just wished we were warned our fire alarm may go off and vents may release smelly odor for hours after a new furnace is installed.

I went to Home Depot on Hesperian to buy some plumbing needs. They didn't have in stock. One of the employee at Depot recommended me this store. I went there got what I need and guess what.. the part at Home Depot was 25 bucks here it was 10 dollars. Surprised with price. Will definitely come back for plumbing needs. I am not sure about their return policy as one of the yelper says 25% charge to return any part. I wouldn't be happy to pay 25%. As of now I don't need to return anything. Will update if something changes.
