Great team, Good service.  Our office was freezing cold on a Monday morning, and we discovered there was no air (hot or cold) coming out from any of the vents.  Called Supreme that day and they returned my call right away.  They were ready to come out the same day and located the problem (which turned out to be a simple matter) and fixed it.  They even came back later to change out our furnace filters for us.  Prompt response.  Pleasant customer service.  Get the job done.  I would recommend Mr. Harrison and Mr. Harrison of Supreme to anyone.

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS.

My husband and I used Supreme Indoor Climate Control (Supreme)  for the replacement of an old furnace and installation of new ducts.  While the twin brothers were very courteous to us in person, they ended up being terrible contractors.  Below are our complaints.  In sum, while Supreme may quote you a cheaper bid, the hassle and poor workmanship is not worth the cost savings.  Go with another company!!!!!!  I wish I had read more of the bad reviews because we chose them based on positive Yelp reviews, what a joke!

First, we were told the furnace replacement would be a 3 day job, max.  This was consistent with other bids we obtained on the project.  Supreme took a total of 9 or more days to finish this job.  They never worked a full day and instead often worked only a few hours in a given day.  They constantly forgot parts or realized they got the wrong thing, and would keep having to come back to the house, which was really disruptive.   Some parts they would forget on multiple occasions causing greater inefficiencies.  

When we had the inspector come to look at the work performed, he pointed out several mistakes that were corner-cutting mistakes.  Sadly, the biggest mistake of all the inspector didn't even catch.  A week after the installation was finally complete, I noticed that one of our bathrooms was very cold during the day.   Upon further inspection, I realized that the bathroom vent had no heat coming out of it.  Supreme had entirely forgotten to hook up a duct to the vent!!

The worst part was, when I called Supreme to ask them to come and finish the job, they never called me back.  I left them 3 voicemails and my husband called and tried to leave them a voicemail and the mailbox was full so he couldn't even leave a message.  We never heard back from Supreme and had to pay someone else to come to the house and hook up a duct from the existing duct to the bathroom vent.

Finally, Supreme said that we would save a few hundred dollars off of our heater with a manufacturer's rebate.  When I gave the numbers that Supreme had given me to the company for the rebate, they told me that the numbers would not qualify.  I tried to get clarification and different information from Supreme so that we could try to get the rebate, but Supreme also never got back to me on this either.  Thus, we were unable to get the rebate which was several hundred dollars worth of a rebate.

In the midst of our recent cold snap, my furnace suddenly stopped working. I was a bit frantic because my drafty house looses heat quickly on chilly nights and I have 2 young kids, so I began looking for someone to come out to fix it right away. Unfortunately,  none of the local companies in SF were able to get anyone out to see me for an entire week! Supreme saved the day! Mr. Harrison called me back right away, and made the time to come from Oakland. He was courteous, friendly, and very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and was able to do a temporary fix, promising to come back the next day again with a part that I needed to make the fix permanent... He showed up on time the next day, and did not even charge additional for the extra trip! Also, while up in my attic he noticed my dryer venting had collapsed and was in need of repair, and he re-vented it at no additional charge. I couldn't be more pleased that I found Supreme, and recommend them with no reservations.

Mr. Harris from SPH was quick to respond and absolutely helpful. I needed a refrigerator repair, and I was unsure about what was needed. Mr. Harris asked me to send some picture to him, he diagnosed the problem, and then let me know that it was a quick fix that I could handle myself. I always appreciate when people do not just try to get you for your money. So if you need an honest and reliable repair solution, call Supreme Plumbing & Heating and ask for Mr. Harris. I'm definitely calling him next time I need some help with a repair.

A couple of years ago, our heater stopped working in mid Nov. I called them and they arrived within a few hours. While they were here they were kind and explained everything they did. I had such a good impression, I called them again when we wanted to add a register to an unventilated room. They are honest, trustworthy, kind, and knowledgeable. Cannot say enough good about them and their company.

Mr. Harrison and his brother, Mr. Harrison, came out on a Friday evening to get my heat running again.  They were very professional, friendly, and put out that very important, We're here to fix your problem, not rip you off vibe.  

And fix my problem they did.  Speedily, for a fair price, and they explained to me all kinds of things about how my heating system works.  

They also told me that my heating system needs to be serviced once a year (I had no idea), so I put myself on their email list.  

Support local business.  Use these guys.  They are great.

I have to say these two brothers, Harrison who run the Supreme Indoor Climate control are incredibly honest, dependable and highly skilled.  It is hard to get all three qualities in one mechanic but they both do.  We needed urgent repair for our gas furnace unit, they called us when they said they would and came to repair it exactly when they said they would.  They would work hard to save you the money.  They explain to you what they are looking at and what might have gone wrong as they go.  the gas furnace was old and their was no name of the carrier but they took all the numbers and went to several part shops in the city until they found the parts.  They got the furnace going but told us that furnace was real old and they couldn't say how long it would run.  But, and that's what so extraordinary was they said if it stops working this winter they would buy back the replaced parts from us as long as they installed the new unit.  

Two days later our fridge and freezer went bad they came to look at it, brought the parts and tested it out.  they told us the fridge won't work, they took the part out and only charged us for the labor!  We got the best and least expensive advice and we knew what we needed to do.  

I would recommend Mr. and Mr. Harrison to anybody without any hesitation

I bought a Nest thermostat a couple weeks ago and despite my best efforts, completely failed when I tried to install it myself. So, I went on to the Nest website and found Supreme Indoor Climate Control as one of their professional installers. I called and setup an appointment one day later.

The guy that came out was incredibly nice and professional. Although I originally needed two of the thermostats installed, he just showed me how to do the first one and then asked if I wanted to save the money and do the other one myself... Thats pretty damn honest in my opinion.

All in all, great service... Next time I need someone like this done again, I'll definitely call these guys

When my 50year-old furnace failed to turn on recently I called a couple of individuals who had worked for me in the past.  One made an appointment and failed to show up (didn't even bother to call, nor did he respond to my calls), and the other didn't return the call for a day or so.  So I jumped on my trusty laptop and researched here on Yelp.

To my pleasant surprise I found a number of high quality companies, some with many reviews, but being an Oakland resident I like to patronize local businesses, and Supreme Indoor, with their Oakland address, was my first call.

I made the appointment in the morning, met the Misters Harrison three hours later, and my furnace was up and running within 30 minutes.  Smart, professional, considerate, no up-sell.  I could easily have been convinced to pay a good chunk of change for this repair, but that doesn't seem to be in their modus operandi.  I hired Supreme Indoor to return next week and to a thorough furnace-cleaning.

Two hours later, when the fix stopped working, I phoned Supreme.  They returned my call as soon as they were available and scheduled a return visit for the next day.  This feels like the start of a good service relationship.

Supreme has been my go to furnace people for the last several repairs I had to make for my units. It's never a fun thing needing them but when I do they are there and they get the job done for me. Our furnace stopped working today. I called Supreme Plumbing and Heating and was told someone would come to our home within the hour. The gentleman that came to service our furnace, Mr. Harrison, was on time and extremely professional. He educated me as to the source of the problem, explained patiently what it would take to repair and the estimated cost. He was very knowledgeable and  friendly. I am very pleased with the service we received.

I have an old boiler that heats my home which I thought was having thermostat problems. Turns out it was solenoid units that were defective and not shutting off the valves. Amili had to find the parts which because of the age of the unit was not in stock.

It took some time but he found them and was able to get them installed although the work area was very tight. He and his brother did an excellent job and even replaced my old thermostats which turned out to be the hazardous mercury based ones. Very thorough. Now maybe my PG&E bill can return to normal (if there is such a thing anymore!).

Love the twins! The brothers were amazingly helpful. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, neat and fast workers.  They diagnosed the issue with the furnace quickly and were able to resolve it and set up preventative measures within 30 minutes!  We are definitely having them back to handle other work we need done!

I called four places from Yelp reviews at 8:30am after spending the first really cold night with no heat. Mr. Harrison was the first of the four to answer and said they could be at our house in a few hours.

They arrived within 30-minutes of the estimated arrival time. Really nice guys. Very professional and knowledgable - fixed my heater quickly and price was reasonable. I am having them back for my annual maintenance.

Mr. Harrison.. Why do you disappoint?   We tried to use you, we wanted to use your services.. But I am still waiting for my estimate!  We called numerous times and all we got was a verbal estimate after you failed to call us back.  You tried to call back once but we had no luck due to bad service on your cell phone.

We call back a week later and you verbally tell us a couple grand to repair and 8500 to replace.  We were supposed to get an email breakdown of brands of a/c heater combos etc. or what the repair would entail  with no luck.   I was supposed to get an email last night, waited today. And now we start all over with one of your competitors.  Hopefully Comfy heating will do better than you did.

I guess you don't need the work but geez, have some professionalism.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. Yelp deal?  No thanks, I'll waste my money elsewhere.

Awesome customer service.  After waiting over 24 hours for another company to NOT show up, we called this place. The owner and his brother were at our place within 2 hours on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend--and we are in Martinez.   Although they were not able to get all the parts they needed to fix the heater--again because of the holiday weekend (they drove all the way to San Leandro from Martinez to try), they made sure we knew what was going on, our options for Monday AND made sure we could get some heat to get through till Monday--it just happened to be the first REALLY cold weekend of 32 degrees.

Both gentlemen were VERY polite, very helpful and made sure we understood everything that was going on with the furnace.  They take repair calls 24/7--and are definitely on our call again list.  Prices are reasonable and inline with other companies.

We are very happy with our heating & cooling unit!  It's a dual zone with variable speed, which cools/heats the designated space quickly. Mr. Harrison was friendly, courteous & mindful of our time.  He was on the early end of each time frame he quoted & on one of the follow-up visits, he called to see if it was okay if they could stop by a little earlier since the previous job ended faster than anticipated (which I appreciated). Mr. H's communication was stellar and he was able to explain the unit in a way even a noob like me could understand.

In addition, he & his team were able to repair faulty existing ductwork, so the unit now functions at its peak to save energy/$. After researching other companies ad nauseam, SP&H had the best pricing too. They're a family-run business, which I also like. I highly recommend Supreme Plumbing & Heating.

Always reliable service. We've used Supreme several times in the last couple years and I absolutely owe them this review. The Bay has been hit with a cold snap, the holidays are here, so fixing a heater is a necessity. While every heating business has been overwhelmed and busy, Supreme squeezed us in to repair our heating unit. Great and professional service, we are so grateful. Two pleasant and very helpful men came out to look at my furnace which kept shutting off. Turns out it was construction dust from an ongoing remodel clogging up in the filter.  Didn't even need replacement- just to be washed. Affordable and honest! What a help in our current cold/rainy stretch of weather.

Awesome. Had a pilot let that went out and was trying many times to get it on, without blowing myself up. These guys showed up super kind, professional and efficient and solved the issue. Also told me that the main gas line feeding into the Williams wall heater won't open until the pilot light is on, so I don't have to worry about a future explosion. A win for everyone! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 5 star service, beat everyone's price, and walked me through the whole process. The twins know more about furnaces, air ducts, and air flow systems than any professional I encountered (and I interviewed many!)

I had a huge, ugly, cold air return in my hallway that I wanted moved. Most professionals offered me expensive, poor, alternatives, but Supreme Indoor told me for a super low price I could just put it in the wall. Brilliant! I couldn't believe how affordable they were and talking to them was like listening to a How its Made episode on house heating systems.

These guys are fantastic listeners and make sure the customer is COMPLETELY satisfied with the service. They went above and beyond the call of duty (nights and weekends included!) and are a true gem. No need to shop around, seriously, these guys rule.

My heater stopped working in January 2022 in my new home and my Nest connected me to these amazing brother Duo! (Thank you Google). They came, inspected, recommended filter replacements, thoroughly explained what the issue was and boom, my house was heating up again. They are friendly, welcoming, fast and careful and overall the kind of people you keep close in case any heating or plumbing issues come up in your home. I just had Amili and his brother fix my washer dryer unit.  I have to admit, they made the entire process very easy from diagnosis of the problem to getting the parts for it to fixing it right away.  I was very impressed by their responsiveness, broad knowledge of appliances, friendliness and expeditious & accurate work.  My washer dryer unit is up and running beautifully and I couldn't be happier for the courteous and professional service of Amili and his brother.  I highly recommend them.  I wish I had come across their work sooner and I would have them address all my appliance issues over the years.  When warranty runs out, you are at the mercy of repair folks.  It's great finding an outfit you can trust.  Thanks guys!

These guys are great. I had them come look at the ancient heater in one of my units. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it because it's being replaced soon. The technician came up with a creative solution and presented me with multiple options. Overall, they were fair, honest, and very reasonably priced. I would be happy to use this family-run business again in the future.

This company comprises of two brothers, and they were amazing with their customer service (although there were two times they were late with no notice but they did get back to me eventually...I chalked it up to them being busy at another site), Anyway, my almost 40 year old furnace was dying, and after trying to fix it with new parts they realized that wasn't the only problem and suggested I either replace the other bad parts or install new furnace. After much thought, we decided to have them buy and install new furnace. Everything was upfront and done with integrity from showing us what the parts cost in a catalog to not pressuring us to buy the new furnace. We spoke to a handyman friend of ours, and he said their price quote for a new furnace was very competitive. We were not used to the high efficiency (and loud noise) of a new furnace since our other one was sputtering to its final stage, so we had the brothers come back to see if they could soften the noise. They tried, and it does sound less noisy, but we were happy they took the time to follow-up and help us out. They are professional & trust-worthy!

These guys worked out well for me.  They were able to fit me into their schedule and diagnose my stalled heater.  They got my blower running with a new capacitor and found and fixed the gas leak that I suspected.  They were able to do the work without me being around.  They are honest, reasonably priced, showed up when they said they would, and they're easy to work with.  I will use them again the next time my furnace needs attention.

These guys are awesome! So friendly and responsive.  I have used them on two occasions now. A year ago our 25 year old heating system had some issues after we did some remodelling and they came to diagnose and fix the issue within 2 days. Recently, our system broke again, but this time for good.  I called at least 5 companies on the day it broke (Friday)  and Supreme Plumbing & Heating were the only people to respond (I did get a call back from one other company a week later). Mr Harrison turned up Saturday morning to diagnose the issue, provided quotes for 3 different new systems on Saturday night, and then he and his brother installed the one I chose on Tuesday morning (Monday was a holiday). Everything is working great. I highly recommend.

They have poor communication skills and do not provide any pros/cons about the product they install in your house.  In the end, they blame things on old duct work or wiring. They could have informed us BEFORE installation.

They damaged my closet moulding and left scraps everywhere. They left large cardboard pieces and told me to recycle it myself.  Then, they even had the nerve to ask for a yelp review. Ask and you shall receive.

2+ years later and it is day one of a forecast for a 7+ day heat wave. I have not had AC for 7 years because the last place that came out to look at it said it would cost $1495 to repair.  Didn't have that kind of money then and now it is probably two times that amount.  I called Supreme and Mr. Harrison told me he would be over around 2:00-2:30 the same day!  He knew immediately what was wrong over the phone.  He came out to the house, diagnosed it and fixed the problem in about an hour.  He even involved me in helping with the repair which is really nice so I would know if the same problem happened again.  He is so knowledgeable, honest and it is so nice to have the feeling of NOT BEING RIPPED OFF!  I love these guys and will always call them first when I have a heating or air conditioning unit problem.   I would give them 10 stars if I could.  Call them.  You won't be disappointed.

Firstly I'm not someone who post reviews, but for them I had to take this time out.
I've used their svcs twice from last yr and this, and both times I've had nothing but a positive experience. As a 1st time home owner, there are so many things that I didn't know, but both times I called them, once for plumbing and the other for heating, they not only fixed the issue, but also explained the process throughout for my knowledge. That's what I loved about them. From initial inquiry response time to setting appointments, to coming by on time and finally getting work done, they are  very professional and precise with their work.

Amili did a number of things that will make me continue using his excellent services. First: he answered the phone! This may seem like a small thing, but to me it's important. Secondly: he came on time! Another plus. Thirdly: he was nice to my dog (okay. Maybe not that important, but it shows what kind of guy he is) and Fourth: he swiftly (cane the next morning) and expertly fixed my heater. A great transaction and easy. Thank you!
Addendum: just had a little glitch with the wiring after the fact, and I not only got Amili, but his brother too. In two seconds flat we were warm again. One more plus to their services. They stand behind their work!!

After getting 3 other estimates, Supreme had a mid-level estimate that I felt I could trust, along with their great Yelp reviews.  Mr. Harrison and his brother very promptly replaced our old furnace with a high efficiency unit in a cramped crawl space area. They were able to finish it in 3 partial days and were very professional and friendly.  The furnace works great and they were very knowledgeable and explained all the logistics of inspection.  
We haven't passed inspection yet because they have to do some minor changes to drainage, so it's taking longer than I had hoped but I'm hoping to add to their review and support their commendable efforts!

I was coming from a place of desperation when I called these guys-- the a/c had stopped working during the worst heat wave of the year. My regular company was booked two weeks out and I wanted someone, anyone, to come out and have a look at it, hoping I wouldn't have to endure another night in a 90 degree room trying to sleep.   Enter Akido (forgive me if I got your name wrong) from supreme. They tacked us on to the end of a long day, came out and when he left, I had a working a/c and an education on other steps I could take to make my system more efficient. So knowledgeable,personable, hard working, honest and cool. Thank you so much!!!

I called and scheduled an appointment for Mr. Harrison(s) to come and service my heater and clean my duct works.  

They showed up on time and were quick to let me know that because my house was so old and the heating vents were constructed in such a way that their equipment couldn't clean my duct work.  They told me were I could look to for help in this matter and went about servicing my heater.

They showed me pictures of a problem with my heat exchangers and ran test with equipment that showed that possibly CO2 was being pumped into my house when the heater was on due to the problem with my heat exchanger.

Even though the did the extra work, they stuck with their original price for the service and were nice enough to talk to my wife and I regarding our options and pricing if we wanted to replace either our furnace or the duct work or both.

If and when we decide to replace our furnace these two will be the first ones we contact

Assigned by AHS (American Home Shield).  
Waited 3 days for them to reach out to me and then i lost my patience and called them.  
Was told they would call me back to schedule.  
Never received a callback, then i called again on day 4 and was told, i can be there in 1 hour -ummm..no. people need to plan.  He says he doesn't have his schedule with him and will call me back at the end of the day.  Having already been told this before, i asked for a different vendor from AHS.  This is 2016 people.  use google calendar or carry your schedule with you.

The Harrison brothers are awesome!  Huge fan of this company and would use them again in a heartbeat.  We were having issues with our AC and called them...they came out the SAME DAY to fix it...even on the hottest day of the year when they were really busy.  So professional, so friendly, and so useful given they fixed our AC...for way cheaper than we thought, too.  These guys are the best.

We moved in on a Sunday, and the house was cold - but it's February, so we figured the door being open all day had something to do with that. Monday, still cold; maybe we needed to turn the heater on properly? Despite our best efforts, it was clear the heater was broken.

Tuesday morning at 8:30 am, the sweetie gets on Yelp, finds the Harrison brothers, and calls them.

They came by at 10:30 am, exactly when they said they would. My heat was on in less than half an hour, since they had the part they needed in the van. (Cracked ignition coil.)

But wait, it gets better! They explained, in simple terms, exactly how my heater worked, what I'd need to do to maintain it properly (so that it would last as long as possible!), and recommended I get carbon monoxide detectors, since it was an older unit.

What a find!  We have been without heat for about two weeks, but Amili saved the day.  Recently we had a new furnace installed but were unsuccessful in getting heat.  While we tried to work with the furnace installer to problem solve, we thought it might have been the new Nest thermostat that we installed.  On New Years Day, the Nest representative suggested that we call in Nest certified HVAC person to look at the system.  Surprisely, Amili answered the phone call on New Years Day.  It caught me by surprise to get anyone live and to hear he was willing to come out the following day.  Within minutes, he was able to determine that the problem was do to incorrect wiring  and was able to get our heat on right away. He seemed very knowledgeable and personable.  We would call him out again without reservations and would recommend his services to others.

** WARNING! LIARS AND RIPOFF ARTISTS!**

The company I hired to install my wall heater was having problems with resolving some of the details of the correction notice. 3 failed rough inspections.

So off to YELP I went and found the twins so favorably regarded here. I gave them several calls before I got a human, and scheduled an estimate. Mr Harrison arrived 45 min late but did call to alert me after 35 min of waiting. My first impression when he drove up in his filthy, unkempt, company van with mismatched, bald tires and a cargo bed full of debris and tools piled one on top of the other was, Oh No!  

But then, thought I, YELP can't be wrong. Besides, who am I to judge a book by its cover. My own company car and desk are in disarray. So was Einstein's. It means nothing. (On the other hand, as it turned out, it meant everything and I deeply regret not going with my gut response.)

Mr Harrison--can't say which, after all their twins that go by the same name--quickly assessed the situation. He said I can take over the contract, make the necessary corrections today, or maybe Thursday latest, and call the inspector myself and meet him here to expedite the process say Friday.

His price was $800.00. I was expecting something more in the range of $200-$300 total but then their goes those YELP reviews in my head again. Besides maybe there was more to it than I realized or was told by the inspector. A gas heater is serious business and I don't want to blow up because of carelessness or frugality.

Besides, a three day time frame was perfect for the sheet rocking that was almost complete. We could start the taping on Monday and seal up the gap in the wall and ceiling.

I wrote Mr Harrison a check for $400.00 and was looking forward to the great phone call I'd get that Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, the phone call never came. We had an opportunity to stop at the house Friday Night to check on his progress. Nothing had been done. No phone call with an explanation. When I tried to call him I learned the company had no receptionist, only two cell phones that the Harrison twins hadn't even had the consideration to set up with out going messages. After several calls and finally receiving a Sorry, this mail box is full, CLICK!  I began to realize I wan't getting my moneys worth.

Finally that Saturday, I got a return call. I asked how the progress was going. Mr Harrison replied, Oh, I did pick up the parts, their in my van. I'll try to get the work done by Sunday; and, Monday, make the Inspection Appointment. I replied, That's perfect. I'm having the water heater worked on and the Inspector can do the rough on that as well. I was again elated and thanked Mr. Harrison. Again I asked him to give me a call when it was all taken care of. I had to work Monday and wouldn't be able to attend.

Monday came and went.  By Tuesday the sheet rocking, taping, plastering and texturing have all been completed. The painters have started interior painting. The entire house is painted except the wall and the ceiling of the Wall Heater area. Wednesday I called the Harrison's. Mr Harrison now tells me, I've been waiting for you to call me. I'll have the work done tomorrow. You can schedule the Inspection anytime after that.

You were supposed to schedule the Inspection and be here to answer questions.  I said.

He replied, Schedule the inspection for Friday afternoon, I'll be in the area and will come by during the two hour window he gives you in the morning. Another lie. On Friday morning, after several calls I'm told Mr. Harrison won't come to the inspection.

To top everything off the Heater fails again to pass Inspection. Mr. Harrison in his haste constructed a smaller insulation box out of less material than my original guy had and haphazardly placed it over his larger box leaving a gaping hole for flammable material to fall into. In addition, to access the clamp he was supposed to replace he cut the top metal reinforcement strap on the stud bay. An additional code violation. He later said, Oh, I had no choice but to cut the strap because I don't do drywall work

Strange, the five drywall workers that were in the same room with him when he cut the strap stared in awe at his incompetence and wondered why he didn't ask them or call me to have someone trim the drywall for him. It was going to have to be trimmed anyway now to replace the strap. In hindsight, it just must have not been worth his time to do the job right.

Another week passes; with it, several more unreturned calls. Finally, after 3 weeks and a threat to seek someone else I get a response. I'm told, We don't come out when you want us to, we have to fit you in our schedule. I said, Fine, but when you come bring a new strap. He had the gall to say, I'm sorry, but that's not my field. If you want to buy the strap and leave it there I'll re install it for you.  I was in shock! The following morning I decided to fire him. Glad I did!

Fast and friendly. I called them about a heater problem, which turned out to be a thermostat problem, and they also fixed a leak in a sink pipe at the same time. They said they'd arrive in 45 minutes and they did. They were in and out of the house in even less time with the heat humming and the drip gone.

Mr. Harrison came out to take a look at our furnace which decided to start making a high pitched ringing noise in the past few days . We were worried it was going to blow up or something!
He was friendly, knowledgable, and honest. My kids ( 3 1/2 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old) loved watching him & his brother work and asked him lots of questions.
After a few diagnostic tests he assured us that the unit was in fine working order and just suggested a few things we could do to keep the unit working. No up sells or pulling the wool over your eyes, you can hire these guys and feel good about it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

One chilly morning, I noticed our furnace was running but wasn't circulating air around the house. We put in a call to Supreme Plumbing and Heating and and they were able to put us on their schedule within a couple of days. Akida showed up and diagnosed the problem, then returned the next week with his brother to install a replacement part in under an hour. It was a pleasure meeting both of them and I look forward to reaching out when we're ready to consider upgrades to our home heating system!

Very quick response. They first tried to help me troubleshoot the problem with my AC over the phone, to potentially save the trip out (and cost). Once we determined a trip out was needed, they came that same day, found the problem quickly (in this case, a bad capacitor on the AC unit), and fixed it in ~30 minutes. Supreme came out to my house because my floor furnace was working intermittently.  They took a quick look at the furnace pilot light and suspected the thermostat. They found a loose connection and assured me that it was the thermostat that was most likely causing the problem.  They explained to me in detail how the furnace worked and gave me a discount on the service visit which I can apply to any repairs if a new thermostat doesn't fix the problem.  They didn't try to replace expensive parts on my heater or sell me on a new system. They seemed very honest and  were also two very friendly guys.

I would highly recommend Supreme Plumbing & Heating.  Thanksgiving morning I woke up and my heater wasn't working.  We had used our home appliance insurance to have a different company come out the beginning of November to fix our furnace.  We had this different company come out once and did a phone diagnosis which left us with our heater working intermittently.  

Thanksgiving morning we woke in a panic, expecting friends and family later that day we needed to warm our home on this exceptionally cold day.  The other company couldn't come out so we called around to any number we could find.  

I did a google search for emergency HVAC repair companies holiday and I got lots of search results, none of which were able to come out that day because they didn't have anyone on call.  One company you had to be a Gold member, which we were not.  Then we called Mr. Harrison at Supreme Plumbing & Heating.

We had a great chat around 10 AM and he said he could have his brother, the other Mr. Harrison out between 12-1.  The timing was perfect because guests were arriving at 2.  Mr. Harrison arrived on time and within the first 2 minutes of looking at our heater he knew what the problem was.  What a relief, we thought after all the hassle with the other company we were going to need a new heater.  30 minutes later he was done and our heater has worked without fail every day since.

I would highly recommend any one to these guys, they arrive on time, do great work and give honest assessments on what the issue(s) are.  On a holiday I though I would spend hundreds of dollars to get heat ... we paid under $200! Give these guys a call!

Being the great wife that I am -- I waited patiently as my husband tried to replace our regular thermostat to a programmable one. Two thermostat later, my husband said it was time to get a professional.  I got a referral from a contractor and was very pleased with the professional service -- the time taken to explain to me why my husbands installing wasn't working. Unfortunately my husband was not home at the time. I would definitely call them -- have my husband call them in the future.

I wanted to know why my homes heating was so unbalanced, and how it could be remedied.  This Heating company would only come out to look at it for a fee, but they said the fee would include a diagnostic test and report.  Neither test or report were really done.  After inquiring more than a week later on the status of their report and a quote to fix the imbalance, their quote consisted of their replacing my heating ducts, and the quote was so high, it told me they didn't want the job.  I inquired further about the diagnostic report, that when received consisted of one sentence telling me to replace my heating ducts.  Essentially, they wasted my time.

All of the great reviews are justified.  I called Mr. Harrison this morning because I thought my furnace had died, and it was really cold in the house.  He was out within a few hours and determined that the pilot light wouldn't stay on because something was too dirty.  He cleaned it off, and the heater started working again.  I also learned that the furnace should be cleaned and serviced on a yearly basis.  I will certainly do this because I don't want to have the cost of replacing the furnace.  Mr. Harrison was professional, knowledgeable, and a nice guy.  I have already put on my calendar to call Mr. Harrison in the fall to come out to do the service.  I highly recommend him.

I agree with a previous Yelper.  You have to call repeatedly to get a response.  Tech showed up and took only cash for the diagnostic and didn't offer receipt.  We tried calling back since we were told 30day warranty and tech said he's out of town for 2wks.  If we don't get a return visit and a REAL inspection and repair, my next stop will be to report this company to BBB.  Their website HAS TO be fake because their customer service is nothing like they portray.  I'm tempted to take the loss on the $85 and go elsewhere but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but something tells me I'll be wasting my time.

The guys from Supreme Indoor Climate Control get the job done.

We called them one night as our furnace went out and we had family staying with us from out of town.

We received a prompt call back, and the they were at our home within the hour (on a weekend night).  

After politely introducing themselves they got straight to work, and systematically diagnosed the furnace until they arrived at a conclusion.  Before proceeding they used their own parts to confirm their conclusion, and allowed me to make the decision for the course of repair from a few good choices.  

The furnace was up and running that night before they left, and they checked in with me a few days later to ensure their work stood the test of time.  

These guys are as polite and professional as you could hope for.  

It's two months later, our furnace is heating our home perfectly.

The Harrison brothers arrived promptly at my home on afternoon of New Years Day. PG & E had responded to a gas smell near my furnace, shut off the gas, and suggested that we would need to replace the regulator (a cost of over $300 usually). The Harrison brothers tested the unit and discovered that they regulator was fine but they needed to replace a minor part instead. Sure enough, they were exactly right! For one third of the cost of a regulator, the problem was solved. In addition, they gave me  helpful advice about carbon monoxide detectors and what to look out for in the future to keep the furnace safe and in good running condition.

It is very important to me to work with small, local businesses rather than the larger, more corporate repair agencies. In the area of reliability, cost, customer service and overall knowledge and expertise, Supreme is Supreme. I offer my highest recommendation!

I am satisfied with Mr. Harrison's work in replacing the in-wall gas furnace.  He took care the permit application and got to work right away.  He took out the old furnace  and put in the new one in all in one day work. The inspector sign off the paper after the second visit.  My overall experience was pretty happy, he quoted me honestly and  explained what's included and he kept me informed all the time. Mr Harrison is the best. Our furnace would not start on the coldest day of the year, so I called the first highly rated repair service I found on Yelp. They sent out a technician,  and he told me I needed a new control board.  I was not contacted again until late the next day and was told it would cost around $500.  I found the same part on the net for around $300.  I then called Supreme Indoor Climate Control, for a second opinion. Mr Harrison came by and diagnosed the same problem.  After a few phone calls he found the part and told me he could have it installed the next morning for $350. As promised, he arrived the next morning, part in hard and had it installed and running in no time, and we had a nice warm house again.  Mr Harrison was very knowledgeable and professional, taking the time to answer all of my questions.  Mr Harrison and Supreme Indoor Climate Control are at the top of my list next time I have issues with my heating system.

I didn't know they did appliances, so I'm happy I actually bumped into the Brothers at Home Depot and inquired about their services. My kitchen stove has been out for about 1 week and they quickly diagnosed the problem. Great response as the furnace blower motor went out over the weekend.  This was the only business that was able to respond on Monday (others said Wednesday), other never picked up phone or called back.
The tech and owner was punctual, he diagnosed the problem, showed me the price of the part in the reference book (instilled confidence I was paying no higher than retail for the part), was upfront about the labor fee, came back with the replacement part as promised, and we have heat again!

Had a lot if issues installing my Nest had my original contractor who installed it look at it and after two hours still couldn't figure it out... My contractor still charged me 200 dollars!! The Nest company emailed me pros who could fix it I called Supreme Hearing and Plumbing and they were able to fix the issue same day in 45 mins and for less than what my contractor charged me! They were extremely professional and knowledgable... They explained every process they were doing and why! I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family!

The Harrison brothers run a great business.  I lived without heat for two years, and they fixed my ancient floor furnace in the most efficient and professional manner.  Working with them was great because they are happy to patiently explain what is involved in the repairs as well as offer future options.  Within the initial inspection, I felt that they really know what they are doing and are extremely trustworthy businessmen.

Highly Recommended! I called everywhere trying to get a tenants heating unit repaired in the apartment building I manage. No one could get here the same day until I reached Supreme. They got out here the same day and were extremely informative and detailed. They explained the problem clearly to someone who knows nothing about heating and took the time to tell us exactly how to prevent the problem from happening again. He even took time out of his day to show me how to clean and fix  my own heater to save me from having to pay for another repair as money was tight right before the holidays and this is a family run building. This building is owned an operated by women, so I am accustomed to contractors and repair men trying to squeeze every last dollar out of us, and this was not the case at all with Supreme. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, hard working, on time, detail orientated, polite and just all around good people. I will never use anyone else.

Heater kept cycling off before room reached thermostat temperature.
Called Supreme this morning and was able to make same day appointment.
Mr. Harrison showed up early (which was excellent) - completed diagnostics and was able to pinpoint problem within 10 minutes. Mr. Harrison and I agreed to connect later in the day after he picked up the required part...he was able to be early again.

Great Service.  I found these guys on Yelp.  Mr. Harrison answered right away and was at my house within the hour.  I thought that the fan on my heater was toast but Mr. Harrison quickly determine that it was just a capacitor which he happened to already have in his work van.  30 minutes later, the heater was blowing warm air once again.  He still had to run about an get some replacement duct but was back first thing in the morning the next day and was in and out in less than 5 minutes.  The price was very reasonable too.  It looks like I have found my new heater repairman for the forseeable future.  Thanks Mr. Harrison

I had a problem with my thermostat and attempted to replace it on my own.  After a couple of failed attempts, I called this company and spoke to Amili.  I told him my heater was fine but would not respond to the thermostat; he asked me a couple of questions, then offered to walk me through a simple test to determine whether or not the thermostat was indeed the problem.  
Turns out I was buying thermostats that are not compatible with my heating unit.

For someone to be knowledgeable enough to walk me through a diagnostic based on my mumbo jumbo and actually provide a simple solution without costing me $150 is a big deal.  I will certainly feel comfortable giving them my business in the future.

Purchased an old home in Oakland with very old HVAC. Worked on inspection and died after move-in. These guys came out quick, on-time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 2 days (needed to get parts). I had them run a full system check as well. Friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. My wife's co-worker recommended Supreme Indoor Climate Control and I am glad she did. I called them and they came out the same day at the exact time they said they would be there. They got to work right away, diagnosed and located the problem quickly and replaced the glow ignition element which was causing the furnace to malfunction. I really like the fact that the showed me the price of the part straight from an official parts catalog so I knew I wasn't getting screwed.  Good work for a very reasonable price!

I had an older floor furnace that had gone out at my rental property in East Oakland.  My tenant had just moved out and I was in a hurry to get the place ready to rent again. Another company had come out and told me it was too old to be repaired and that the parts couldn't be replaced.  I contacted Supreme. I was in Mexico at the time and explained the situation to Amili Harrison over the phone. He assured me that the faulty gas valve could indeed be replaced. I gave him my credit card information over the phone. Supreme went to my vacant property just as Amili said they would and repaired the gas valve. Presto, the furnace that supposedly couldn't be fixed was working again. I had PG&E come out to inspect the work. The technician said the valve was functioning properly but that a part leading to the diverter also needed to be replaced. I called Amili again and asked him why they had not also replaced that part. They promised to come back out, which they did, and replaced that part as well. It was clear that Amili and his twin brother are extremely knowledgeable about these older furnaces. They agreed to give me a one-year warranty on the work and said they would apply the cost of this $850 repair to a new heating unit down the road once I decide to install a new one. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again. The only reason I gave four stars and not 5 is that they did not repair both of the faulty parts at once and I did not learn of the second issue until PG&E made their inspection. That said, once I brought it to their attention, they came out straight away and took care of it. I also like the fact that they are a locally-owned Oakland small business.

My Family and I are warm and comfortable  in our home again thanks to Supreme Plumbing and Heating.

My high efficiency heating system tends to crap out every winter due to a variety of factors, not the least of which is my apparent inability to replace my air filter before each heating season. I've had Supreme over each of the last two years to get my system back up and running. The guys who run it are two twins who seem to work their tails off to please their customers.

Last year, Akida came and got the thing up and running for the minimum $85 fee (this was SIGNIFICANTLY less than many other outfits out there...and he came the same day, while other folks had waiting periods of a couple days to a couple of weeks). He was efficient, explained everything to me several times in plain English, and promised to return and fix it free of charge if the system crapped out again within a week. It didn't, and I was extremely satisfied.

Fast forward to yesterday...system crapped out again during what seems like the first really cold week in a while in Berkeley. We have a newborn baby and had to rely on a space heater for a night. This morning, I left a message for Supreme and was called back within two hours. They said they would try their best to fit me in that day, but if not, the next day first thing in the morning. At 530pm, I got a call that Amili (the brother) was 15 minutes away from my house and could squeeze me in! This time, it involved some additional troubleshooting and calibrations, but after half an hour, the system was back on. Thank goodness! Initially, I was looking at $200, not the $85 minimum fee that I had paid the previous year (it did seem to involve much more work in the crawl space this time), but thankfully Akili was willing to negotiate with a new father! We settled on a cash discount of $125, which was well worth it for a same-day after-hours house call that fixed the system. Again, most operations will charge that much just to look at what's going on, and will probably double or triple that without blinking an eye. And whatever they say, you probably have to just pay it, right? I mean none of us really know what we're doing here. HVAC guys are like mechanics: you never know how much you need a good one until you're faced with a big problem, and their expertise is something that most folks don't understand at all. Well, let me tell you, these guys at Supreme are legit service providers with a ton of expertise, but they're also kind human beings. And they return your calls!

I will be using them for my annual preventive maintenance and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who really isn't sure what they need done and is looking for their go-to HVAC service provider.

Heaters always fail when it gets cold and when everyone is busy. One company I called quoted a service call 8-days later. Most were just busy. Luckily, Supreme Plumbing & Heating had a slot a 5:30 p.m. that day and Akida Harrison came by. With heaters, you don't know if it's a $300 or $3,000 bill so luckily it wasn't on the lower-end of that scale. Akida was able to replace a worn out igniter and we were able to have a warm Thanksgiving. Fast, courteous and friendly service during this time of year is hard to find so definitely consider Supreme Plumbing and Akida as a high-recommend.

Excellent and honest service! I originally called another repair company who after looking at the furnace said that the blower motor was no longer any good and it had to be replaced. The cost would be $590. I almost went with them but luckily I held off and decided to look at yelp and found the 5 star ratings and reviews on Supreme Indoor. I asked Mr. Harrison to give me a second opinion on the furnace and I was so glad I did. He was very thorough in diagnosing the issue and he found that it was not the motor but a small part which he replaced at a fraction of the quote that I received from the first repair company I called. I'm extremely happy with the service from Supreme Indoor and hands down recommend them for any HVAC problems.

I called Supreme Indoor Climate Control in the morning and they gave me an appointment in the early afternoon. Their responsiveness was excellent and so was their work. They fixed my broken furnace within an hour. I would definitely recommend this company!

Not only were the twins professional, knowledgeable, and efficient but they came roughly within a few hours of my call.  I contacted another company right before I found them and I still haven't heard from the other company.  They were very careful to check with the manual of my unit to make certain their remedies were compliant.  Also, I did not want to have another cold night and even though I still needed parts that wouldn't accessable until after the holiday weekend they left me with the best  option to be warm while I waited!  I couldn't not be happier.  Their company and conversation and personable touch was a bonus!  Too bad I didn't have any cookies on hand to let them know how much they were appreciated!  The twins are the real deal and the Kings of the Thermostat industry!

Total scammers came out and didn't fix a simple water heater issue.  They tried to tell me their was an issue  with my plumbing when in fact the pilot light was out and air was trapped in my water heater air duct.   I had another company put the next day who fixed the problem in 20 minutes for half the price.

Amili is now my go-to HVAC pro! I ran into issues during my Nest thermostat install and he was the only one who answered the phone on a weekend. He was nice enough to help diagnose the issue over the phone and had I been a bit more observant about my furnace setup, it's likely he would have found the problem remotely.

Since I'm such a luddite, Amili made a weekend housecall (brilliant!) and found my issue quickly. He was super-patient with me, explaining what was going on and how to troubleshoot in the future.

My AC and furnace are back up and running, Nest is fully functional, and I didn't have to break the bank. Thanks, Amili!

These guys were great.  I called about fixing one furnace and replacing another one.  They were very clear and prompt with their communication, showed up on time (actually a little early!), and worked efficiently and effectively for the price that was quoted, which was fair.

TLDR; Tried to charge me $9,000 for a 75 gallon water heater replacement that should have been no more than $3,000. I paid $5k then refused to pay anymore so they've been harassing me via text, phone, at my house, and on twitter.

Our hot water heater in our new house went out. The twins seemed like nice guys at first. It took them three weeks to get the problem sorted. After charging me a thousand dollars for a replacement part for my previous heater, they finally ended up saying the heater needed replacement and it would be another $3850 for a new heater, and they'd need the money up front. I sent it via PayPal, after they assured me it would go through immediately. Three days later, (and three weeks since we had any hot water), the PayPal transfer finally went through, they finally went to get the water heater, but it turned out to be the wrong energy rating - so they had to wait another day for another heater to come from Sacramento.

After installation they told me I'd need to pay another $4000. Thats ~$10,000 for a water heater replacement. This seemed unreasonable, so I sought bids on yelp for a 75 gallon water heater replacement in an attempt to understand what the average price was. The six quotes I received were all $2000-3000 including parts and labor. I also googled the actual price for the water heater they claimed was $3850. Turns out it's listed online for $1000-1500. It became clear they were trying to price gouge me.

When I sent pictures of the bids I had received to Supreme and told them they were trying to rip me off, he sent a receipt he claimed was for the heater showing they paid $2k for it. Which, while more than google suggested, was still half what they initially claimed the price was.

I told them I wasn't going to pay the $4k which I had never agreed to, and which was clearly unreasonable, but that they could keep the money if they returned the first $1000 item. That means I have so far already paid them $5000 for something other companies agreed would be half that.

This is where things have gotten bad. They've been texting me, calling me, and showing up at my house harassing me to pay them. I was sent a picture by one one of the twins of him and his daughter in an attempt to guilt me. He made up a story about promising his daughter they'd pay rent this month. He asked if he could come stay with me because we have hot water.

I have asked repeatedly for them to stop contacting me, and that if they believe they have a legitimate claim to have their attorney contact me. They have continued harassing me and my family instead.

I've told them if they continue the harassment I will be forced to file a police report and that I am prepared to file a restraining order if necessary. I was very patient over the three weeks my family and I had no hot water, but price gouging and subsequent harassment is unacceptable.

I've seen them respond to people here who complained about them by calling them liars. I'm not posting screenshots presently as I think it's unnecessary, but am happy to if it becomes an issue.

We had Supreme install a Nest thermostat.  There were only two wires to the original thermostat so additional wires had to be run through a difficult, very small opening above the basement.  Supreme diagnosed the problem and came back the same day with the required equipment.  The job was completed meticulously.  They are courteous and competent.  I would highly recommend Supreme for your HVAC needs.

Akita and his brother at Supreme Heating are total lifesavers.  We moved into an old house with tons of problems, the most frustrating of which is an furnance that only works when it wants to.  I called the Harrison twins and Akita was able to come over the same day to take a look at the problem.  What a appreciate most is the Akita explained everything to me and took the time to make sure I understood how the furnance system worked, or in our case, didn't work.  Akita was able to have many of the parts replaced under warranty and he returned to my house three or four times, sometimes late in the evening to check in on the furnance until the whole list of issues was addressed!  Also, we learned the hard way, don't let just anyone install your Nest, call Supreme.  We had a Nest installed by a general contractor and it only seemed to turn the heater on about half the time.  The Harrison brothers are certified Nest installers and wish I had called them first to install the Nest correctly.  I experienced great, friendly, knowledgable service, with great follow up at a very reasonable price.  I highly recommend Supreme! (Akita, I'm so sorry if I butchered the spelling of your name!)

I've never written a Yelp review before, but the guys at Supreme Indoor were so fantastic they inspired me to take the plunge.  I woke up on a cold morning -- husband out of town, with 3 young kids -- to find that my furnace wasn't working.  I found these guys on Yelp and, based on the good reviews, gave them a call.  They answered right away, and said they could be at my house within two hours.  They arrived, quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem (which, fortunately, was pretty simple to fix -- a new fuse and tightening wires on thermostat), and were super professional and courteous  I asked if they could show me what had happened and how I could fix it myself in the future -- as well as to look at our other furnace (we have two) to see whether it might run the risk of having the same problem in the future -- and they happily did both.  And they charged me only their basic $85 call-out charge.  I highly recommend!

Very honest repair shop.  I was having problems with my refrigerator, and contacted Samsung directly.  Samsung then referred me to a repair shop in Hayward that got a lot of negative reviews.  I ended up searching on Yelp and found this place.  I spoke to Amili on the phone for a few minutes, and he recommended I search Google for solutions before scheduling an appointment, which would have cost $85.  I was able to find a solution for my refrigerator, and rather than spending $85 for a diagnostic, and however much I would have spent in parts and labor, his suggestion solved my problem in a matter of two minutes.

Thanks Amili, if I ever have issues with any other home appliance, I'm coming here.

I found this company through NETWORX. I'm so glad I did. They came out on very short notice same day  within  4 hours, they came to my home.

They replaced a valve in my older furnace, a part had to be ordered. They came out the next day and replaced it. They were eager to give information on how to save money when making repairs to your furnace, which I appreciated very much. The repairs were made in a timely manner the  furnace was cleaned and checked for gas leaks after the work was completed.

Mr. Harrisons (actually, Akita and Amelie) are knowledgeable, professional and amiable. I had them install a new HVAC system and when it was making too much noise they came and turned it to a different setting with no drama.

The two brothers behind Supreme Indoor showed up quickly after being called, worked hard and fast to correct the problem, came back quickly & repeatedly when the problem wasn't solved and were generally great to work with.  The labor pricing was reasonable and they worked only worked through inexpensive solutions before arriving (sadly) at the conclusion that it was going to cost more.  

Through it all, they were trustworthy, diligent and pleasant.  That's the best you can hope for because - let's face it - nobody is happy about having to spend big dollars on something so unsexy as furnace repair.

I've had a broken boiler for a year now, and these folks showed up and fixed it no problem! I should have called them sooner . They show up on-time, with no surprise bills. The Harrison twins who own and operate Supreme Indoor Climate Control are fantastic. I've used them twice - first time to replace a furnace duct. Second time during a very rare week-long cold spell Mr. Harrison came immediately to troubleshoot my furnace which kept soft locking as it couldn't re-light.  They do charge a standard troubleshooting fee, which is perfectly acceptable to me. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty gas valve and left to research where to buy the part and repair at a later date. Apparently the issue was fixed during troubleshooting as the furnace has been working fine and we had heat.

He called back a day later to let me know he found a local supplier who stocked the part, and asked how the furnace was doing. I said it was working and he said no problem, will come back to fix if it has another issue. I appreciated the fact he didn't pressure me to do the repair. The same day I recommended him to another neighbor who had furnace issues, and Mr. Harrison was able to fix their issue that evening.

Supreme was promptly on time for my appointment (hooray!) after scheduling me on Saturday night for a Sunday consultation about my nonfunctional heating.  The service tech Mr. Harrison was really great!  He explained a lot about my furnace: what the parts are and how they work, and billed me for only an inspection (which can be credited towards any future work if I have additional problems this winter).  I had one of those problems that was not reproducible while he was here (probably a glitch in the thermostat due to lightning and power fluctuations), but he still took his time and went over it thoroughly after we determined that the system was currently functioning correctly.  At my request,  he gave me info and rough pricing on installation of new high-efficiency furnace products, but without pressuring me to replace my existing furnace.  I really appreciated his approach and recommend this company with no reservations.

I don't know exactly how to describe my experience with this company. Two brothers appear to run it and they both go by the name Mr Harrison. I was told they are twins. I had a water heater failure on Memorial Day and one came to the house that day and did a valiant job of trying to fix it. I would have given him 4 stars. He needed a part to fix it and the supply houses were closed that day. I do not blame him for that. The water heater was still under warranty for parts but not labor. Before leaving, Mr. Harrison told me the price to fix the heater was still going to be the price they quoted me on the phone, $150, but that I had to pay $85 of it that day which would be taken out of the $150 when they fixed it. A little while later, the second Mr. Harrison called me to ask if his brother had done satisfactory work. I explained that I was happy with what he had done but that we needed a part. The second Mr. Harrison then told me the price of the labor would go up to 200 plus dollars and that I may have to lay out the money for the part and deal with getting reimbursed. He also told me that his brother should not have told me a price because he, the one on the phone, was the boss. I then offered to pick up the part in a Hayward warehouse the next morning after teaching a class there and asked them to call me to let me know if they wanted me to do that. They didn't call.

A few hours later that day, the Mr. Harrison who had not come to the house told me that they would have to drain the water heater to install the part etc. and that the price of the labor would go up to $300. At that point, I started calling around and found that Harry Clark plumbing in Oakland does warranty work on these water heaters and had the part in stock. I called them and they did the complete job for $200 and did not have to drain the water heater. They also did not ask me to pay for the part or fill out any paperwork for the warranty--they would do all that. I had a fine experience with the first Mr. Harrison but cannot recommend the second. Unfortunately, as they don't tell you their first names, I cannot say which appeared more honest.

This guys are the best! I have called them in two different occasions, one for the water heater and one for the furnace. Both times they seemed very knowledgeable about the subject and their work was highly efficient and clean. The only positive comment I'm giving them is that they responded quickly to my phone call and they scheduled an appointment for the next day to check my old furnace, which had the pilot on but wouldn't light the back flames.

They made it kind of on time and they call me to give me their assessment and evaluation of the problem. He needed to replace the pilot ignition unit and he quoted me $1,000 for the work. In addition, he mentioned that the job shouldn't take very long to replace it.

After being in shock for the elevated quote, my husband was able to purchase a $110 piece and replace the broken part of the furnace. It took him 30 minutes to do that, including safe gas checks.

I ended up paying them an $85 fee for their evaluation which wasn't accurate, since afterwards we tested all the components of the pilot ignition unit and were fine. Definitely, I won't call them again, I've never been as displeased and ripped off with a service.

These guys saved the day for us. We came back from spending time with family over the Christmas break only to find our heat was no longer working. With temperatures dipping below 40 degrees at night we had to find a reliable heating company on very short notice. Supreme heating came through in every way possible by diagnosing the problem in one visit, ordering the required parts and installing those parts on delivery within 24hrs! I'm always stressed when looking to hire a company to fix heating / plumbing issue as I've heard of so many horror stories of getting taken advantage of. However, Supreme Plumbing & Heating really hit the mark and I'm so glad I found them.

I reached out for them to help install an Ecobee. Unfortunately the ecobee isnt compatible to my home, but they gave very clear directions and options for next steps. I appreciated their knowledge and honesty.

Initial Review on 1/17/2012 -

Called Supreme in the morning, I actually called another company first but the earliest they could make it out was Friday AM and today is Tuesday so thought I would make a few more calls to see if someone else could make it out sooner. Our furnace just blew cold air and ran all night long so it couldn't hold the temperature much. Turned out the technician would be in my area later this afternoon so he said he could drop by after his appt. The two brothers came and began inspecting my unit. They were knowledgeable and clearly explained what they were doing and looking at. After inspecting the main furnace they checked out the air filters and replaced them for free and also gave a few tips that would help with the regular maintenance.

In the end, the issue I was experiencing did not surface that day, but they explained that if it happens again just give them a call and they would come right out.

My water heater began leaking, so i decided to call up Mr. Harrison as they knew what they were doing. He asked me to take a picture of the leak so he could get the right parts/tools with them, when he arrive he went straight to work and stopped the leak. With the leak it had also caused water damage to the wooden stand and drywall behind the water heater. They said they can come back over the weekend to remove the water damaged drywall and install a metal stand which would now bring the unit up to code.

These guys are highly recommended, they are honest and clearly explain to you what the issue is, what caused it and more importantly how you can prevent it from happening again.

trust the brothers Harrison to tell u the whole story, be totally reliable, and finish the job on time. In my case, I had to leave town midway through getting my heater fixed as they had to order a part. When I returned, they came the next day with the new part and finished the job fast. They are friendly and real people, its a good family business... one of their sons is their apprentice, and they are good teachers as well as kind, warm, reliable guys (twins!). I'd recommend them to everyone. This is the kind of business we should all support and you will enjoy their presence as well!

My heater went out over the weekend. On Monday I called a few places but I was  getting voicemails. I called Supreme Plumbing and Heating and Amelie answered my call while in the field. Ameile that same day determined I needed a new motor and that evening replaced it. I was in a real jam because I had family visiting. I can't thank Amelie enough for working late that evening to replace the heater.

I spoke to Mr. Harrison (and that is what he really goes by) and he made it sound like he would come over and review one problem and work on another.  Instead he just looked at two problems, promised me a quote and then charged me $85 for the visit.  

Yes, I got charged for him to come over and just quote something.  That's bad enough right?   What's even worse - he did not even send me a quote even after I called and followed up with him.  No call back, no verbal...nothing.  

So he came over, wasted my time and then charged me for it.  Super!

Honest, knowledgeable, hard working and polite are words to describe Mr Harrison.  Mr. Harrison responded promptly to my call and was able to accomodate my schedule. I really appreciated that he called me and offered to come early to the appointment time because I was in dire need of heat!  I called 5 companies and he was the first to return my call and schedule an appointment..  The price was right and they did the work efficiently and neatly. I couldn't ask for a better experience! I really felt like he had my best interests in mind and I could trust him completely. I would recommend Supreme Indoor Climate Control to all my friends and family.

I had an issue with my upstairs furnace and called Supreme.  Akita came by and did an excellent job diagnosing the issue.  He noticed my furnace blower was not working because the control board was burnt out.

So he said the diagnosis was $85 but with the new control board (which should be about $200 - $300 he said) the total installation and diagnosis fee would be $225.  So all in I thought $500 and was OK with that.

He then sent me an invoice from Johnstone Supply in Oakland for an ICM2807 Control Board which was $573 with tax.  I thought this was real high so checked on Amazon and found it for $160.  Akita told me he would not install any online items because they were not guaranteed so I said I would buy it and install it myself because that price difference was just too high.  Akita called me back and said he changed his mind and would install it.  So the unit came and Akita came over and attempted to install it.  It was the wrong unit.

What I really needed was the ICM282A which apparently Johnstone Supply knew but put the wrong item number on the invoice.  In retrospect I think this is a total scam and they do that so people can't buy THE RIGHT and perfectly good unit from Amazon.  So I returned the ICM2807 for free on Amazon and ordered the ICM282A for $121.  I ordered it Prime 2 Day and it showed up in 5 days and Amazon gave it to me for FREE!!!  I couldn't believe this and that's why I love everything about Amazon.

I was pissed the invoice had the wrong part number on it and Akita said I didn't tell you to order that one.  I said c'mon man - it was on the invoice and I didn't feel I had to check your and Johnstone Supply's work as you are the experts.  That was our only disagreement but I agreed to pay Akita for the second visit which was a waste of my time.

Rather than setting up an appointment with Akita again I just installed it myself and paid Akita $185 for his time.

So I spent $185 and have a perfectly working furnace instead of spending $800.

I'm giving Akita 4 stars because he absolutely knows what he is doing  but I really didn't like the quote and the wrong invoice - even Berkeley Supply had this unit for $299.  Somebody is ripping somebody off.

Last Friday I was in a panic. Middle of summer. Hot and AC goes out. I call everyone and their Mom and no one could get out till Monday. I live in a two story house. Not happening. My heater wasn't turning on and my Nest was saying that it wasn't getting any power. I called several places to get a quote and everyone wanted to charge me ~$100 to come down and take a look. I spoke to the guys at Supreme and rather then scheduling an appointment and charging me, he walked me through a few things that might have been the issue and I was able to solve it myself! (it was a super small issue of the door on the heater not engaging the fan switch that gives the heater power). I appreciate the fact that he was willing to give me advice rather than make some money. Thank you!

Home gas heater did not come back on after a power outage on a cold day. Called them first thing in the morning. Guys showed up as promised within a few hours, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the issue within 15mins.

No BS, no sales pitch to upgrade to anything... Nice work. Thanks guys!

Mr. Harrison was professional and friendly. It turned out that there was nothing wrong with the furnace and that the defective part seemed to be the 9 year-old thermostat. Supreme charged us $85 for the visit, to be applied to the cost of a replacement thermostat. I am entirely satisfied with Supreme's service.

I WIIL NOW BE USING SUPREME P&H FOR ALL OF MY HVAC AND PLUMBING NEEDS! Their workers are all top of the line and their prices were super affordable. They know what they're doing and they were in and out! Quick, professional and knowledgeable, what more can you ask for? I messaged them regarding an old wall furnace removal and new furnace installation and they called me back immediately. Their workers were able to come out the next day and get the job done! When its 30 degrees in the Bay Area and you're able to get a company to come out and serve your needs in less than 24 hours, that says a lot! Supreme made it easy to pay online and gave me a detailed, professional invoice-- not to mention they beat everyone else's prices by a landslide! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

These guys are awesome. I called them today because our furnace wasn't working. They came within 40 minutes. They were super nice, completely professional and solved my problem for their $85 diagnosis/visit fee. And, more importantly they told me that my furnace did NOT need replacing--something a competitor has told me the last two times they came out! I cannot recommend them enough.

Our furnace was only blowing cold air.  Akida (from Supreme) called and came over the say day.  He was really helpful in removing (and later replacing) our house panel to access the unit.  He checked everything and soon hot air was again coming out of the vents.  Also, he took time to explain some basic info about the furnace so I was better informed.

Overall, it was fast, knowledgable, and friendly service - highly recommended!

Horrible customer service, was charged extra for relighting pilot light, I guess it wasn't covered under service call and minor repair.... They also went ahead and perform service without authorization. So the 85 for service call basically covers them to show up... don't be surprised for additional charges without authorization

We have had a mysterious problem with a pilot lighting going out rather randomly.  They have worked really hard to figure out the best, most economical solution to the problem.  Their business practices are fairly informal, and they use the same name (Mr.  Harrison) which takes some getting used to.   But they have tracked my problem and are being diligent about finding a solution.

We were completely satisfied with the furnace repair service from Supreme.  When our gas home furnace wouldn't start, Mr. Harrison came to the rescue. He arrived at the scheduled time (on Saturday) and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (in the thermostat).  He also inspected the aging furnace thoroughly at no added cost and gave us peace of mind that the whole system was in good shape for the winter. Thank you!

Our furnace was not working and once we realized it the house was very cold.  Called Supreme, they answered on the first call, and they said they could be out within a few hours.  Once they came they diagnosed the problem quickly and said we would need a new fan.  They took the part back to their office, found us a new one, and drove (on a Friday afternoon) to pick the part up -  our  furnace is old too, so finding the part wasn't easy.  They returned later that day and install the new fan.   The furnace was back up and heating the house by the evening.  

These guys are great -very professional, responsive, and got the job done quickly.  They didn't try to push anything on me that I didn't need.  I would highly recommend using Supreme if you have having problems with your heating system.  They can also install new furnaces.

I've been using them to help with an old rooftop ac and heating unit. First the heating system failed and they were able to troubleshoot and find a solution, then came summer and the ac unit needs to be replaced which they're also handling (no small job considering we need to rent a crane to even get the new unit up there). I've appreciated their responsiveness throughout and their skill at working with this outdated unit, I had been trying to find someone to help me with this system for awhile so I'm happy I found them!

The Good:
- I needed help with my heater AND plumbing, nice to have it all done with just one company
- They came out and diagnosed the problem for $85, not too bad. They credit the $85 towards any repairs they make.
- Very friendly and honest guys, never tried to upsell me or (knowingly) recommend repairs that were unnecessary.

Needs Work:
- Poor communication. I called to schedule an appointment and they said they'd call back. They didn't. So I called again the next day to make and confirm the appointment. They showed up an hour late for the appointment. Then they said they'd call me back the next day for a quote on the water heater - again, they didn't.

- They didn't actually fix anything. I do appreciate them being honest
about things I could fix myself to save money, but in the end all I paid them for was to tell me what was wrong, and even then I'm not sure the assessment was spot on. They said it was a bad thermostat but when I went to replace it myself I realized it wasn't working properly because it was installed with a piece of cardboard it came with disconnecting the current. It would have been nice if they checked that out themselves before telling me I needed a completely new thermostat.

I really liked the brother team but they weren't helpful or reliable enough for me to call again.

Mr. Harrison and his brother provided such great service.  They respectfully informed us that our heater was not safe and leaking CO.  They did not pressure us to purchase a new furnace from them, encouraged us to shop around and call PG&E for a free second opinion.  They also went above and beyond by fabricating a holder for our filter so it maximize its effectiveness   It is so nice to know that there are businesses out there like Supreme Indoor Climate Control.

I was very impressed with the Harrisons who responded promptly to my call to identify and fix a furnace problem I had in Alameda.  They were very professional and explained what they were doing along each step of the way. I was impressed by their deductive reasoning and the logical progression as they identified and then remedied the problem.  They readily showed me the parts which needed replacing and the new replacement parts.  Their labor charges were very fair and I have already referred them to others and would use them again without hesitation.

I've just noticed that the owner replied to my original review by saying he was working with me to resolve the problem and he was delighted that I had elected to have them inspect my home. Based on the Yelp reviews, I called Supreme Indoor when my old gas floor furnace was having trouble.  I left a phone message and they called me back within 15 minutes and were at my door within an hour, as they had promised.  They quickly diagnosed a bad thermostat connection (even though I thought I had checked that myself.)  The service call cost $85, which I believe compares well to the going rate.  The gentlemen who came out, Mr. Harrison and his twin brother Mr. Harrison, were knowlegable, professional, polite, and personable.  They gave me advice on what it might cost if my heater controller went out and they also gave me advice on my water heater.  I would definitely use them again.

My little pink fingers were turning blue; when I finally got a hold of these guys (thank you Yelp for the 5 star reference) my positive attitude was being negatively influenced by the low temperature in the office.  My boss made it very clear that he did NOT want to buy a new furnace.  Atlas was backed up till the next week.  My polartec/wool/fur improvised exposure suit was not up for another week in the arctic.

They called me back immediately, came in that day to look at the very ancient heater, gave me a bid for parts and labor and returned the following morning to fix the furnace.  WHICH IS CURRENTLY WORKING.
No up sell, no BS.
They did recommend that we get an annual service and perhaps a carbon monoxide detector.  If that is going to prevent another Dr. Frankenstein resurrection with this old machinery and avoid possible asphyxiation of the employees that seems like a great idea.
FYI, they needed to get paid the same day as they completed the work.
Checks are easier to write with thawed fingers.  Thanks guys!

These guys were awesome with me! I bought a NEST thermostat and installed it and found out that I needed some additional wiring to make it work. My system is a bit old.

So I call and describe the problem. Well they walk me through the issue and BAMMO! it's working.

The next time I need HVAC work I am calling these guys. If I ever need to recommend HVAC, yep, these guys will be my go to!

Very professional and very trustworthy! Call these guys! They're it!

If you need an expert who's quick, professional, and does an excellent job, look no further. I love these guys!

We needed a Nest Pro to fix problems with a short cycling thermostat/furnace. and I was referred to Supreme by Nest, along with 4 other local shops. I'm thrilled that I chose Supreme. I had a phone consultation with Amili to discuss what was happening. Then, Amili and Akita both came to our home to scope out the problem and offer suggestions -- all before even a dime was charged. We went from popsicles to balmy within 36 hours (during a very busy heating season). They helped me get heat back on in our home, and even were able to add control of additional functions our HVAC was capable of that we weren't even aware of! Well worth the visit.

Last, I can't overstate how friendly, polite, and accommodating Amili was. Truly a gentleman, and I'm pleased to have met him.

I just had a very pleasant experience with Supreme Plumbing and Heating.
I called because my furnace was making non stop snapping noises.
It turned out to be a non issue, but Mr. Harrison was very patient and understanding.
He came out even though it is Sunday.  I certainly couldn't find anyone else who would do that .   Or even return a call.
I will call him in the spring for a check up as he suggested.
Now I can thaw out as I had turned the furnace off.  And it's a very cold morning .!
I highly recommend this company.

You know the kind of people you trust from the moment you see them?  That's these guys.  Used them when my furnace started intermittently blowing cold air.  They checked out the heater, really tried to troubleshoot the issue, explained why they thought the furnace wasn't really the problem, and made a quick fix on the thermostat that did the trick.  Handled everything in a very honest, straightforward manner, and didn't try to push anything on me.  Couldn't ask for more.

These guys are true professionals!  I can't say enough about Mr. Harrison and his brother-- they are so knowledgeable and good at what they do!  We know we are in good hands when they are working on a job for us.  We began using them to check out our air conditioner when we were buying a new home.  They did an excellent job cleaning and doing maintenance on it, and now it works beautifully, despite being extremely old!  Then, they did some plumbing work for us (since they are both licensed plumbers) and again did fantastic work.  Not only are they extremely professional and competent, but they also are willing to come at the drop of a hat!  Just days before moving in, we had a water heater that wasn't working.  Mr Harrison took it upon himself to contact the manufacturer of our water heater, register our unit, and obtain the needed part from them free of charge (saving us about $120!)  He then made time to come out and fix the water heater on a Saturday (the day we moved in) so that we would be able to shower the next day.  The following day, which was not only a Sunday but also happened to be Father's Day, my husband decided to start tinkering with a leaky pipe.  Next thing I knew, the bathroom floor was flooded with water!  My husband had to turn off the main water line, so that we had no water!  Desperate, we called Mr Harrison and he was at our home within 2 hours!  He did a temporary fix, which allowed us to turn the water back on and saved our Father's Day!  We can't say enough positive things about Supreme Indoor Climate Control, and we look forward to working with both Mr. Harrisons well into the future!  Thank you Supreme Indoor Climate Control for your professionalism, dedication, hard work, and expertise!!!

I called Supreme Heating and Plumbing during the middle of a heat wave (yes, you read that right--a heat wave...in Oakland!) when my AC/house fan was not working (90 degree temperatures on the top third floor of an apartment--no fun without AC!).

I had already called approximately ten other companies that day, understandably they were all booked and no one had any availability sooner than three days later. I talked to Amili from Supreme at noon and he was able to schedule a time to come out at 6pm. He was one of the few companies who could schedule an ACTUAL time instead of a window (literally one company had told me they could schedule for between noon-6pm where I would just need to wait around all day for them to show up) and also one of the few companies who would come out during evening hours without charging more. As a person who works standard office hours and commutes from Oakland to SF every day, this was REALLY appreciated.

Amili came out and arrived right on time. He was professional, friendly, and very informative. He crawled up to my sweltering attic to investigate, fiddled around with my thermostat, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Although he did not have the parts to fix the problem right then (the thermostat itself was faulty and had to be replaced), he explained exactly how to replace the thermostat and even how to re-wire the new one if the back had to be replaced. This turned out to be extremely useful because the new thermostat did indeed have a different backing and required re-wiring, which I have never done before.

I was able to head to Home Depot, buy the replacement part, rewire and install the new thermostat on my own following Amili's instructions, and get the house fan up and running!

Amili and Supreme Heating and Cooling are at the top of my list now for all my needs.

This is a really good outfit.  My technician, Amili, was knowledgeable and skilled.  He did a thorough job going over my A/C system from the attic to the unit in the back yard.  He had a leak sniffer that is really sensitive and a thermometer that was really accurate.  I had lost a couple pounds of refrigerant over nine years so we just put some back.  It was comforting to know the hardware, ducts, filters, thermostats, and such are all checked out now.  This guy knows his physics.  We were looking at pressure-temperature plots.  Remember, PV-nRT: it isn't just a good idea...

Oh, and by the way: I decided yesterday to go find somebody to service this system.  I found Supreme on Yelp, called them, and they came today.  I don't recall, but I don't think I got an answering machine; a live human answered the phone.  And Amili phoned me about an hour before our appointment to check in.  And he was on time.  And he fixed it!  Thank you.

I had a wall heater that wasn't working and no heat in the house. Called SICC and they said they could come out that day. The Harrison Bros. were timely and friendly up encountering our failed heater.  They systematically discovered the problems and had the parts with them to fix the heater.  I would recommend their services and would definitely use them again.  Nice, honest, people.

These guys were the best. They went totally out of their way to help us us out when our washing machine was broken and we couldn't clean any clothes. Both of them came on Sunday morning to diagnose the problem, then drove all the way to San Jose and back to get a part we needed, to then stop by our house Monday night and had the whole thing completely fixed. Now we can wash all our clothes. Trust me when I say these are the two brothers to count on.

When the technicians from Supreme Plumbing & Heating heard I would be without heat during one of the coldest weeks this year, they expressed concern and found a way to  squeeze me in to their schedule. Not only were they professional, they were also very helpful. They took the time to explain how and when I should do regular upkeep to keep the heating system working longer. Oh, did I mention they didn't upcharge me for the short notice, or holiday?! From now on they will be the first company I call when a plumbing or heating issue arises.

I highly recommend Supreme Indoor Climate Control! Our AC went out at 4 PM on a Saturday. I called Supreme at 5 PM and there arrived at 6 pm. They located the problem, made the repair, and left by 8 PM! Very courteous, reasonable charge.

I phoned the company after reading about them on Yelp.  My call was answered promptly and Mr. Harrison was on time for his appointment.  That alone is worth the 5 Stars.  He accessed the problem with our Kenmore washing machine quickly and accurately.  

The fee charged to evaluate the problem with our machines was applied to the cost to repair the machine.  

Mr. Harrison returned the same day to replace the broken lid control and had our machine working perfectly within an hour.

We recommend Supreme without reservation.

On time, fair, efficient, and honest.  When you need the repair done quickly and completely at a fair price you should call Supreme.

I previously used these guys to repair an old wall heater. A little pricey, but they got the job done.

Fast forward to January 2020, and the repairman, John, tried some pretty shady tactics to extort money from me.

I scheduled an appointment for them to stop by a unit to fix a brand new wall heater -- barely 1 year old. I confirmed with John over the phone that if there was a repair, that they take credit cards and could email me an invoice since I couldn't be there. He said no problem.
John didn't do any repairs when he stopped by the unit, but said that problem was a faulty gas valve. He didn't know how much the part was, and said he needed to look it up.

What I didn't know at the time, is that he REMOVED the part from my wall heater (a HUGE part), and then he used that part to hold it hostage to try to extort a trip charge which he never disclosed up front.

He tried to charge me $650 for the repair, telling me how the part is expensive. It turns out the part only cost $90 -- since I had another heater guy repair the unit after he tried to extort money from me.

See attached pics of our text conversation, where he tells me he won't return the part unless I give him money for a trip charge he invented after the fact, when I told him that $650 seemed pretty high to repair a brand new wall heater. Then he drops off the part without reinstalling it after I refused to let him extort money from me.

I got another wall heater guy to replace the part (which cost $90). Total cost was $270, including the part. I'm not trying to promote another heating repair company, so I won't list the name of the company that actually completed the repair for a reasonable amount. But what this guy did, representing Supreme Heating & Plumbing, was highway robbery and theft.

Mr. Harrison first made his way out on a Sunday night, and I hoping for an easy fix. After some back and forth with my landlord over costs, they came back during a busy time right before Thanksgiving. They navigated all the clutter of my garage and were able to fix the heater and have my house warming up in no time. Quick and efficient, and very polite.

Avoid Supreme Plumbing if you have a complicated system.  We called them because our system was down, we had no hot water or heating in our house, and they were very responsive and had strong yelp reviews, and they said on the phone they did hydronic systems and would figure it out.  They charged us $1,000 to replace a part we later learned was never broken, and then quoted us several thousand to completely overhaul our system, and told us they wouldn't be able to schedule it for over a week (while we had no hot water or heating!).

We ended up calling East Bay Hydronics (strongly recommend!), who spent a few hours, figured it all out, and charged us a few hundred dollars to replace a couple small parts and fix everything.

Supreme Plumbing are not bad guys, but they were in over their head on our repair, and instead of admitting they couldn't figure out what the problem was, they were just shooting in the dark at our expense.

Look no further. This review is from a service call I made last summer. I called Amili and he & his brother came out the same day to address an issue I was having with my Nest thermostat so the AC wasn't working. It was over 100° and they came out the same day....the same day!

Long story short, they quickly diagnosed the issue, explained it well and took care of it within a half hour. Plus we had a great conversation along the way and they made me laugh, great guys! I would have posted this review last summer, but I forgot my yelp password and just got around to resetting it. Poor excuse, I know, but my review 6+ months later speaks to the quality of service Supreme provides. Also, don't forget to get your AC/system checked out before it gets hot again. These are the guys to call!

IThe true test of a good company is to see what they do when their repair goes bad.  I seriously wish I could write a good review --  I liked these guys, but I should have known something was up when I overheard them trying to fit a furnace part for the pilot light that was not the proper part for my existing furnace.  I have repeatedly called for them to come back.  It only worked for a few days after their initial repair.    They came back and attempted to fix the problem after 3 weeks of calling.  It stopped working again that afternoon.  I have been calling and waiting for a response for the past 2 months.  All I want is for the repair to be done correctly -- not that tough of an expectation, right?  My only option now is to report them to the Licensing Board and sue them in small claims court.  What a pain to have to go through this mess.
