I can't say enough good things about Mike and SmartFix. He's great with communication, his prices are reasonable, and his people do excellent work. I've used them for several projects now, including:
Demolishing and rebuilding my front porch
Painting my entire exterior
Reboarding parts of my exterior that blew off in a storm
Re-mounting my fireplace mantel
Laying new ceramic tile by my fireplace
Patching an enormous hole in my living room wall

His people are polite and hard-working. Mike is always very upfront about costs. I can't say enough good things! I will definitely hire them again for projects in the future.

Rogelio was very responsive right from the start. He kept me informed every step of the way and he assured me prior to his arrival that he would able a to repair what I needed fixed. He also did a superb job repairing the furniture piece and he did it in the time he anticipated, Very courteous and polite, I will be contacting him again for additional work.

Alex showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem quickly.  When he came back with another plumber later in the week, they got to work immediately.  An access hole needed to be cut in the basement wall for them to install a cleanout and snake the pipe, and they didn't do a very good job (if at all) of cleaning the area around the access hole, so I needed to go back and do some cleanup around the drywall and behind the wall.  

Since the drain is now functioning perfectly, and their price was fair, I cannot complain, I just wish they spent a few minutes wiping down the walls and cleaning up.

Geraldine was great, courteous and super professional. He wore a mask the entire time without asking which I appreciated. He installed a new bathroom vanity and did a really great job. He paid attention to detail and took his time and it showed. He will be my go to for any additional work I need around the apartment going forward.

Harry and co did great work upgrading our cellar half bath to a full bathroom. They handled several types of work including demo, electrical, a challenging plumbing upgrade to a nearly century old drain pipe, electrical, fireproofing, tiling and procuring/installing a custom shower partition. I've worked with a few contractors over the years and Harry had the best communication by far, keeping me in the loop for all of the important decisions. The finish work came out great and we're very happy

Steve Iafrate is the business owner, is a Master Plumber and lives in Closter. He shows up, shows up on time and works diligently.  He works fast and cleanly. He is my new plumber.  Cheers.

Jorge is very professional and meticulous. He not only fixed my faucet but also went above and beyond got my whole shower system checked and repaired. Pricing is reasonable. Strongly recommend!

I had my kitchen redone. Everything from installing a new center island with a gas range and wall oven unit to a new backsplash with under cabinet lighting and high end tile flooring.

Joe and his crew exceeded our expectations many times over. Joe gave us a very detailed and precise estimate along with making us aware of all the possible design options as well as product options. Along the way he would also explain us things wherever needed with online videos, pictures and sometimes based from his experience. He spent significant amount of time to make sure we understood all the project details and were absolutely happy with the options we had selected.
Once the project begun, there was no looking back. Him and his crew were absolute professionals. Very punctual with their schedule, very precise with their work with great quality and no surprises on the way. They finished the project before schedule and within budget with superb quality.  Joe was always available over the phone and in person whenever needed for questions regarding the project. I wouldn't have asked for anything any different.

I have an apartment in Manhattan and when I needed them, they were on time, knew what they were doing. Got the job done for the price they quoted. Nothing was beyond what was needed. Highly recommend, plus they have a license for Manhattan buildings if needed.

They were very professional, very respectful of COVID-19 guidelines, and were very flexible with time (I asked them to move some work scheduled from an afternoon to a morning and they gladly complied).  Their bid was $200 lower than competitors and we are VERY happy to work with them. Though our project was small, they treated us with care and dignity. WOULD USE AGAIN! A++++

Mr Michael Corvelli came by to help us with leaks under our kitchen sink.  He showed me what I could do to fix the problem myself by caulking around the sink.  I appreciated his knowledge and advice and it helped fix the problem.  I would use his services again!

My toilet was leaking and I wasn't really sure what was going on - I reached out to these guys and they had an appointment for me the next day. The two guys who came were very polite and they did a great job - I also think they charged me a very reasonable amount so nothing but two thumbs up for these guys.

We hired John first for our first home in SI. He did floors, tile and wood, sheetrock, compound, bathrooms- tile and plumbing, electrical, paint, LED lights and kitchen cabinets installation. It sounds like a lot of work for one person to do, we did not think one person can do so much but we were amazed! John did an excellent work!    Our house looks very cozy and we are so relaxed about not having to do any repairs any time soon! I love my bathroom, the LED's make it feel bright and the tiles make it look bigger then it is! Another thing that we found very helpful was that John always responded to our calls and answered our questions with efficiency and courtesy. We even got advice on which products were more lasting and better quality!

The repairman arrived within 90 minutes of my call and had our air conditioner back up and running 40 minutes later.  Price was high (around $200) but I honestly expected much worse just based on the neighborhood.  I'd definitely use them again for any service.
