HISTORY
Established in 1917.
When Mike's grandfather, Michael Corvelli, opened the doors of Corvelli Plumbing & Heating more than 9 decades ago, he chose to concentrate on the service, repair and remodeling business in Essex and Morris Counties - specifically Livingston, Short Hills, Millburn, Caldwell, Essex Fells, East Hanover and the Oranges. As the Corvelli Plumbing and Heating reputation spread, Peter Corvelli continued in his father's footsteps, gradually attracting more customers -- many by word of mouth. He would arrive in his customer's doorstep in a crisp white shirt and don a bibbed work apron. His first request would be for paper towels and cleaning products. His goal was to complete his repairs or installations as efficiently as possible and to leave his job space cleaner then when he arrived. And he succeeded!! Today, Mike Corvelli carries on this third generation tradition that has proven successful.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Mike has held a Master Plumber's license since 1982. He is a 25 year member and past president of the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC). While he's not wearing white gloves, he is providing white glove service and constantly striving to improve his service, efficiency, and cleanliness.

Do not hire!! We had a leak in our bathroom and called Corvelli. The plumber had NO idea what the issue was. He opened up our wall and didn't even do a great job, left a gaping hole that wasn't even cut neatly in our kitchen Ceiling (reference the image). Then all he did was say we had to regrout the bathroom floor (which my husband did). He didn't close up the wall and charged us $500 in under 5-10 mins just to say the water from the shower is trickling down. Don't hire unless you want to be taken advantage of and waste your money. Now we have to spend the same amount to redo the wall. Very irresponsible and unprofessional. We called Gatti plumbing and they were wonderful!! Call them instead.
We called Corvelli Plumbing for the first time and Mike responded right away! He made the repairs that same morning. His work is efficient, very clean and the charge was reasonable. We will surely use Corvelli Plumbing in the future.
Exceptional service coupled with professionalism! Michael came to fix a broken kitchen sink faucet in my home. From the moment he entered our house, to the time he completed the work, the area was meticulously cleaned and the new faucet was shining bright! We were so happy with the work he did and we definitely know who to call next time we have a problem with our plumbing!

Found Michael on Angie's List, and checked his great reviews on Yelp. I called him about running a water supply line for a new fridge. He was in my home the next day; did a great job & went above & beyond in solving my problem (he even cleaned under the fridge while working on the water line)! The price was reasonable, he hit the quote on the nail head and he's a pleasant, friendly guy. A++
I had a problem with the water leaking underneath my sink. After researching the reviews I picked Michael Corvelli. Service was fast. I called at 1 PM and they were at my house within an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it all in the same day.
We needed a bathroom vanity installed. I called Michael Corvelli who was recommended by a friend. He came the same day and did a great job! The next day my phone rang and it was Michael calling to make sure my wife was happy with his work. He is very trustworthy unlike the big plumbing companies I have heard about. I highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs.

Michael Corvelli has been meeting all of our plumbing needs for many, many years. He is professional and always completes every job with 100% success and accuracy. Whenever we have a problem Michael is always available and scheduling an appointment time for him to come to our home is immediate. Michael quickly responded and replaced my sink faucet. He was professional and patient while we cleared away supplies from under the sink, and left the work area clean.

Called to have a new toilet installed in a basement bathroom. Simple right? He calls me back and sounds disinterested at best and annoyed at worst. Asks me what kind of toilet. I say Kohler. Asks me where I got it. I say Home Depot. Tells me he doesn't work with Home Depot products because of poor quality issues and if he were to do the job he'd have to charge me twice the usual rate. Are you serious? If it's a Kohler toilet, who cares where I bought it? Home Depot didn't make it, Kohler did. Thanks for nothing, douchebag. I'm sure there's plenty of other plumbers available and willing to take the job.
Had a uncontrollable leak with my hot water heater and called Michael Corvelli on a Saturday afternoon. He came immediately and fixed my problem. He was very pleasant and cleaned up after finishing. He even called Monday morning to make sure everything was still ok.
The person seemed knowledgeable and explained things well. Came same day even though it wasn't really an emergency. The price seemed fair.
Very professional and quick response. We called and Michael Corvelli responded immediately to our call. He came out within the day and fixed our problem, with no issues.
Michael came to our rescue!! Ordered a dryer from Sears and turns out we did not have a safety valve to turn off the gas to connect the dryer, Michael came over within the hour and installed a safety valve. when sears informed us they could not make it back to install the dryer until the end of the week, Michael did it for us on the spot!! Such a life saver as we have a 10 week old and mounds of baby clothes in need of washing! Hands down, would recommend this company and will be using them for our future plumbing needs!

Looking for a plumber when you move to a new state is a daunting process. We lucked out finding Michael Corvelli (thanks, Yelp!). Michael helped us fix gas leaks and a leaking hot water heater in our new home. He's knowledgeable, forthright, polite, and skilled at his trade. Michael was also generous with his time, spending valuable minutes advising us on other plumbing-related issues that he didn't end up working on. We recommend his work highly.
My plumber retired so I searched in YELP and found positive reviews for Corvelli Plumbing. Mike returned my call on the weekend and scheduled a visit for Monday morning. He explained everything and did a very impressive and thorough job for a fair price and encouraged me to call him for any questions. I highly recommend Corvelli Plumbing.
Mr Michael Corvelli came by to help us with leaks under our kitchen sink. He showed me what I could do to fix the problem myself by caulking around the sink. I appreciated his knowledge and advice and it helped fix the problem. I would use his services again!
Problems with three toilets. Mike came first thing Monday morning and fixed all three, one of which was a real mess. Gave me an estimate before he started and finished on budget in only about two hours. I recommend him highly.

I called these guys because of a leak below my sink that needed to be repaired. They were prompt and came the next morning. I knew what needed to be done, the stop valves needed to be replaced, but was having trouble removing it myself. The gentlemen came and was very nice but greatly overcharged me. He charged me over $400 to replace two stop valves, it took about 20 mins. Originally he asked for more but then told me he could give me a discount for being a member of yelp. In my opinion, he was just making up prices he thought I would pay. He was already there and charging me $45 for the visit, and I didn't want to waste more time on it, so I went ahead with him to do the work.
He did the job and did it well. But I would not recommend them because of how much they charged. He couldn't tell me how much was labor and parts when I asked. He just gave me a final price that he made up. Beware. I should have asked about prices before the appointment and I'm sure it would have been much less.
