My first ever 1 star review anywhere. They jip you off on component cost, I was told $40 per valve and found out it was $20 on google search. They installed 10 so was jipped off $200.

Here' the full story. I called these guys to fix some of my rooms not getting much heat from my steam boiler. Manny said the reason would be my water valve is not closing in tight enough so it needs replacement and also the valves in my radiators are old so recommended that they be switched. I was verbally quoted maybe $12 per valve and asked if I wanted them done in all the rooms, I said sure. He said he'd come back in few days because he didnt have the valves. He estimated maybe $400~$500(1 water pipe valve+10radiator valves).

The morning comes back he said $700 because the valves were almost $40 each. I calculated ok $28*10 is extra $280 so $700 seemed good for the price range he initially gave.

Months later, I happened to open up my radiator to adjust something and just out of curiosity, google the price of the exact component and to my surprise, so many sellers on internet at $20 a piece. Was furious but it was already months past and I didnt want to bother speaking with them without a detailed bill.

Aside from being jipped off on materials, I called the guy to resolve some rooms not being heated enough, and he said fixing the valves was going to resolve it. Well, guess what. The room was better but certainly not fixed. I didnt want to get jipped off again so just called another company.

Upto you to use these guys but definitely do your due diligence by asking to quote two things, the exact component+the cost and what labor will be. Im sure many contractors will try to squeeze the most out of your job but these guys are certainly one of those.

Bathtub wouldn't drain last night so I put out a request for service and they responded within minutes.

Miguel arrived early, worked fast, and provided helpful information about the issue. I have some more work that needs to be done and will most likely be using their services again.

I had a leak under the kitchen sink for some time now and have not been able to locate a plumber. ESP Piping was quick to respond and was helpful over the phone for an initial diagnosis. John came in, located the cracked pipe and replaced it under 30 minutes.  Extremely nice! Professional , reasonable pricing and also provided great maintenance tips.

Once again Michael saved the day! I've worked with Michael before and so I knew I would be in good hands. I reached out to Michael at 8am this morning with an SOS. We had a washing machine set to be installed and the valve broke. Water everywhere! I sent him pictures and videos. He knew right away what needed to be done and he was in my home by 12pm that day and got straight to work. I would recommend him a thousand times over to anyone! Thank you again Michael!!

Geraldine was great, courteous and super professional. He wore a mask the entire time without asking which I appreciated. He installed a new bathroom vanity and did a really great job. He paid attention to detail and took his time and it showed. He will be my go to for any additional work I need around the apartment going forward.

Julian and team did very good work and I am happy with results. Initial scope of work need to be adjusted on physical inspection of the site for one faucet and Mike worked with me to get to an updated number

I requested help mounting my TV to the wall and hiding the wires in my apartment. I am beyond happy with the work. 10/10. Highly recommend. For someone like me who isn't very great with tools, the service was more than valuable.

Svetlana, the scheduler, was responsive with scheduling and flexible to my availability. They were nice enough to come the day after Christmas, which was technically a federal holiday. She told me the price up front. She also found me a wire cover on Amazon to order and sent me instructions on how to purchase them.

Artsem, the technician, arrived mostly on time (within the window I was given). He was very friendly and efficient. He wasted no time in getting the TV measured and holes drilled. The entire process took about one hour. He also was very tidy, laying down paper towels before drilling and cleaning up his area. He made sure everything was adjusted to the height I preferred. I really appreciated his insight on where to place the wires to make the console look most beautiful. His expertise was apparent throughout. At one point the drill bit I was sent along with the wire hiding kit broke. Luckily, Artsem came prepared with a spare bit and everything was saved.

The price, including the $50 deposit, came out to $215 for the wire hiding and mounting. I paid $50 beforehand and $165 after completion. I'd say it's worth it. He came with all the tools, on time, and finished the job quickly. Everything is straight and level too. He also told me to save the pieces he drilled out from the wall so that I could fix the wall when I move out from my rented place. I appreciate that he's thinking ahead like that. Last, he accepts Venmo. Overall, a great value and a great team of folks.

Eddie and his team were excellent: prompt, professional, and knowledgeable!

Despite it being New Year's Day when I contacted Eddie, he responded in less than an hour and came out the next day to diagnose our problem (dead water heater). Since we opted to use him for the repair, Eddie did not charge us for the diagnostic fee. He is knowledgeable about the different water heater brands, and I feel confident with the product he recommended and installed.

For both the diagnostic visit and the repair, Eddie kept me updated via text on his estimated arrival time and was always punctual. The team installed the new water heater very quickly. The price was quoted up front, and there were no surprises when the work was completed.

In terms of COVID precautions - the team wore masks and gloves while they were in my apartment.

Guys don't look any further for your plumbing leaks.

This is it!  Stop the search!  Stafford was highly recommended by several families on Cranford Facebook and we decided to call him since we wanted a radiator put in our family room and additional heat in our kitchen.  It was a great choice.  

Excellent communication throughout the process.  We were provided with different ideas and solutions.  No pressure and no upselling.  Stafford works with an excellent carpenter who provided the extra work of carving out the space for the recesses radiator.  The carpenter was so good we hired him for another bigger job in our house.  

The price was very reasonable and affordable.  Stafford completed the job very meticulously with no disruption to our home.   The entire team was polite, friendly, and excellent at their job.  We now have a guy who does plumbing and heating.  It's no secret why Cranford Facebook had highly recommended.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give Montclair Plumbing and Heating, they are that good! We had a bathroom sink drain leaking from the pipe in the wall and needed someone who could come sooner than later. Being Christmas week, we were doubtful that we could be able to find someone. Nick from Montclair Plumbing and Heating responded the same day of our inquiry. Even though he was overbooked with jobs, he came that evening to access what our needs were. It would either be a difficult job or a very difficult job, as I had expected. Thinking it would be weeks before he would find the time to do the work, Nick was able to squeeze us in right after Christmas. The pipe that was in the wall was basically disintegrated and had to be replaced. Nick cut open the wall, but only as much as he needed to in order to gain access to the pipe. Not nearly as much as I thought he would need to remove. After cutting the majority of the pipe, he snaked the remaining piece before replacing with PVC, a nice added touch. He put everything back together and the sink now works better than it ever did, as the drain is not only leak free, but is also now clog free all the way to the main. Nick left the work area spotless; so much so that you can't tell he was even there. We already have other work scheduled for Nick and his crew to do, including replacing the bathroom tub and shower.

The good thing is the staff came within 2 hours after I called.

However, they can't identify what is the problem. No estimation of cost was given. And the staffs asked for tips for the service.

I had drain backup and had water in basement . They sent out two guys whose name currently Escape me quickly . Hey were polite, courteous and got to the root of the problem. Definitely would recommend again and the love the 30 day guarantee. Thanks .

After a frustrating morning from a condescending PSEG guy. I called PSEG and they recommended Guarini to replace my water heater. They guys (Dave and Erwin) arrived within 30 mins. Very professional and they explained everything to me. Never once talked down to me like Vinny from PSEG did this morning. Thank you guys for replacing my water heater and doing a good job at it!

They were incredibly communicative and helpful for me, even over the phone. The owner took his time via text and FaceTime to talk me through a repair process so that I could handle it myself, it was very helpful!

I had a few minor plumbing issues (a deteriorating undersink water filtration system, a loose kitchen faucet, and a shower head that was clogged and blocking the flow of water).  I called Columbus Plumbing and they connected me with Jason from American Airtech.  The first day Jason ended up on a job that went overtime, so he couldn't make it to my house.  (I understand that those are the breaks sometimes!). We re-scheduled for the next morning,  Jason was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and boy does he know his stuff and love his work.  It turned out that I needed a new water filtration system and a new shower head.  He took pictures of them and emailed the pics to his supply house.  We set up another appointment for today.  Jason brought the new items this morning and installed them for me.  The water filtration system was a bit trickier to match up with my existing hardware than he anticipated.  He made 2 trips to my nearby hardware store to get the right materials!  He quickly installed both items.  His work is excellent and the cost reasonable.  I highly recommend!

Super Plumbing has been our reliable source for plumbing repairs I would believe for nearly 4 years.
Whenever there is a reason with a need for plumbing assistance we call Super. The entire Super team is great. The team member who answers the phone is courteous, professional and asks when we would like to make an appointment which leaves one with a secure feeling that plumbing assistance is available 24 hours per day. The technicians couldn't be better. Professional and cordial arriving in an identifying name shirt and right on time. They give a reasonable quote and they work quickly while being completely reliable with their work. At times, while working, they may find something additional and they discuss the possible extra work  carefully and with a reasonable price. I know that some people think this may mean they are deliberately trying to make more money which simply isn't true by our experience. Our most recent repairs were completed by their great technicians Willy, Cesar and another technician who was great and I cannot recall his name at present. We always call Super without any regrets at all.
