Allure Plumbing is probably one of the best plumbing and heating company in the Tri-state area. We have had a fantastic experience with this company overall. Some of the key points I would like to highlight are:
1. Service Level: The owner of Allure Plumbing, Jim Murphy is a seasoned professional and provides an outstanding service along with his extended team. Allure team shows up on time, completes the job, cleans up the mess and leave the house in great condition.
2. Knowledge level: Allure Plumbing has seasoned professionals who understand heating and plumbing issues to the depth where they are able to figure out issues that may otherwise take a long time and create additional expense.
3 Response Time: I have contacted Jim Murphy on many occasions at all given times of day and night and get a timely response. He even communicated with me for a service need when he was on a Caribbean vacation with his family!
4. Honest Team: Jim Murphy is an honest person and takes accountability for the work being performed and provides an outstanding warranty on the job completed.
5. Reasonable rates: All the above points which make Allure Plumbing a delight to work with is supplemented with very reasonable rates.

Our furnace stopped working last month and Brett and his team took care of us. It wasn't the coldest week (thank goodness) but we told him that we have a 1 year old and when one of his guys couldn't make it the first day, he came out personally to take care of us. He initially tried to fix the furnace, and made a good effort to fix it by the end of the day. He even went out of his way to buy a piece and returned the same day. Despite his best efforts, that didn't work, he informed us that we needed a new furnace and that he wouldn't charge us for the work he did that day. His two guys came the next day, promptly, and replaced our furnace ahead of schedule. They were kind, courteous, and fast. Definitely recommend.

We had an issue with our sewer line and the problem was affecting us showering and using any water. We called around 8:30am & they were here by 10:45am. Quick, efficient, & cleaned up after themselves.

I met Justin today over some drain pipes under the sink that decided to quit working on me.  Justin asked me to take some pictures of the problem and he came over about two hours later with all the stuff he needed.

He replaced almost everything under the sink in about an hour.

Found DiHouse by accident. I feel very lucky to have found them. Very Professional, fair pricing, willing to help with whatever that need to be fixed. So far DiHouse helped us with about 10 different projects. We have only gotten to know them in the last 10 days. Love DiHouse!!! Highly recommend them to anyone. Thank You DiHouse! We owe you BIG!!

Carmine is absolutely the best! He's a one man shop by choice and specializes in old boilers. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, polite, and funny. He came to look at my 1987 Burnham boiler, completely cleaned it out, inspected it, changed some old parts, and taught me how to maintain it. He's responsive and timely and chargers a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

I have to say, the cordial disposition and professional manner displayed by Strato, the technician from Gateway who promptly came to my house to service my furnace was super! I especially appreciated the honesty and kindness that Strato had shown to me!

I can't believe how quickly everything was done!

I had a leak in my basement and also a malfunctioning kitchen sink that was causing me a ton of anxiety!

I left John a voicemail at around 8AM and got a call back about 20 minutes later asking about the issue. He told me he would have a few members of his crew at my house within an hour.

By 10:30AM, everything was fixed, clean and functioning perfectly as expected! John, one of the plumbers who was dispatched for the job, also gave me some tips on maintaining my (very old) steam boilers.

I really enjoy that I'm able to support a local business and will be calling John Degrace again for any other plumbing and heating jobs!

I had a good experience with Bargain Plumbing.  I was helping out my friend's aunt who owns an apartment in Brooklyn.  My friend was out of town, so I helped out.  Bargain Plumbing came out, were on time, the technician was friendly, worked fast, but efficiently and gave what I thought was a fair price.  They didn't leave much of a mess either.  A good experience!

Jessie James used a gun when he robbed people. Steer clear of this crook. This guy totally ripped me off.

We hired John first for our first home in SI. He did floors, tile and wood, sheetrock, compound, bathrooms- tile and plumbing, electrical, paint, LED lights and kitchen cabinets installation. It sounds like a lot of work for one person to do, we did not think one person can do so much but we were amazed! John did an excellent work!    Our house looks very cozy and we are so relaxed about not having to do any repairs any time soon! I love my bathroom, the LED's make it feel bright and the tiles make it look bigger then it is! Another thing that we found very helpful was that John always responded to our calls and answered our questions with efficiency and courtesy. We even got advice on which products were more lasting and better quality!

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! SUCH LIARS!!! We had a really terrible experience. They lie about the wait time, they are immature unprofessional guys and they dont even have the right equipment! Tried to charge me $650 for the problem they couldnt fix.
Their snake is short and the business they do is so so DISHONEST. I heard him talk on the phone to another customer saying that he will be at a different place in 20 minutes after he JUST started working on our toilets.
For the price you pay for, its a joke and they will deceive you. I would really hate if someone else got tricked by them. They wont fix your plumbing either.

Only reason they get 2 stars is because the counter guys are good. Prices are high and it takes forever and I mean forever to get what you need.  They have a ticket system like a deli and call out numbers.  Cramped space no where to stand always 20 guys in there waiting like me.  If your in a pinch they usually have what u need but I would shop around.  Service area floor is packed with pallets of salt and just cluttered.. Like I said the counter guys are this guys whole business without them he's done.
