Best in Newark NJ
24/7 Plumbing came to my workplace (a large UWS synagogue), on short notice when we were experiencing a very unpleasant issue with the sewer line backing up into our basement.
Their techs were courteous, neat, and efficient. They spent almost 3 hours clearing the main drain/sewer line, resolving the issue. They then checked that water was flowing through the drain line from the top to the bottom of the building. Great work.

Good reliable company, very responsive and knowledgeable. Great plumbing, everything on time.

Positives: Called for service and they sent a technician right away!
Negatives: Tech changed the water spout in my bathtub because the diverter wasn't working. But he did not line up the spout with the back plate and it looks very unsightly (see attached pic).
Additionally, I told the tech that my toilet kept making wooshing sounds periodically and that I had recent replaced the flapper and also the floater.
He said the problem seems to be the lever and tried to bend the existing lever but said it'll probably be cheaper to replace the whole toilet for which he can do for $700 & change if he supplies the toilet or $350 if I get the toilet.
He takes off to local plumbing supply place and returns promptly with cheap universal lever and the tub spout. After struggling installing the toilet lever said that's best he can do.. I'll have to hold the lever to flush. (Which remains in open position and I'm forced to have to wait to tap it close otherwise he keeps running!),
Went to his truck, wrote me a bill for $180.
The toilet lever gets stuck in the down position and every time I take a shower.. I'm reminded of how unprofessional the spout looks with the back plate just hanging there.
Oh yeah.. He needed to turn off the water to toilet from under the vanity while we was working. He left the vanity a mess (never put back the items he pulled out to work) and so much water on the inside of the vanity. So sloppy!
The diverter runs about $20 and the universal toilet tank lever runs under $10 at home depot. I paid $180 for this service call and a $20 tip. Yes, I am stupid.
I waited a couple of weeks to call the main office (wanted to give myself some time to cool off) and left a message with the call center. Joe calls me up immediately and without knowing what I was calling for was rude and impatient. ...What do you want? I'm driving!...
I wasn't going to post this review but after that exchange..
Poor service, poor customer support and I can't believe the owner would allow Joe to deal with the public. I would definitely NOT recommend this business.
P.S.
Next day, Louie (identified hisself as a manager) patiently listened to my grievances and said he'll look into it. Later in the evening, the tech called and justified his sloppy work by saying I should have just replaced the toilet. Then started arguing the prices he quoted me.
Poor service, unjustified prices and rude after sales customer support.
Hope this helps someone when they are trying to decide what plumber to let into their home.

Due to the hurricane Ida my basement flooded and my water heater and gas furnace stopped working. I couldn't find any available plumber to help me until I found Wanda. She made sure I got a water heater immediately. The water heater came and her guy came right after. He took care of everything. He was professional and great. He replaced the water heater and fixed the gas furnace. I'm so thankful everything is working again. Wanda to the rescue! Will use this company again. Highly recommend!

I can't believe these guys have no reviews yet! We just called them because our pipes froze due to the extreme cold weather. Mike (owner) and Jessie came within an hour and told us some tips to thaw it out. The other alternative was breaking walls that would cost thousands of dollars. We love that they were honest and didn't try to rip us off. They also gave us great tips for things that needed updating down the road and they offer military discount! They will be our regular plumbers from now on

Danny is a truly reliable professional! My husband and I have hired he and his crew for multiple jobs: building a walk in closet, building a kitchen island, and multiple projects at a rental property we have. It's hard to find a trustworthy, reliable contractor - and Danny has truly been a Godsend for us. He does high quality work at a fair price. A great guy and even better businessman. Highly recommend!

I've used Resolute for main sewer cleaning in years past. Since I hadn't had it cleaned out in quite a while, I decided to call them again. Once again, they were great. I was able to schedule a time that was good for me. Tom and Mike showed up right on time. They are both extremely friendly, polite, and do fantastic work. They laid cardboard down in the work area so my floors wouldn't get dirty, they did the clean-out of the main sewer, and cleaned up the area with disinfectant and left the area absolutely spotless. Highly recommended for your plumbing needs.

Peace of Mind Plumbing is a 1 man and 1 assistant operation. Mike is the man behind Peace of Mind. My wife and I have hired Mike many times to do a wide range of jobs. So far he's replaced and reconfigured old plumbing in our cellar, fixed some plumbing issues in our kitchen, replaced our hot water heater, and replaced our boiler. Mike is a great guy and we trust him 100%. He's one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people we have ever met. He genuinely seems to be passionate about what he does and is incredibly honest and even tells you about things you could probably do yourself if you want to save some money. Mike does great work and is very reasonably priced so don't bother checking around for a better option, there isn't one. We often talk about how we wished we could hire Peace of Mind to do everything we need done around the house, it's rare to find someone as reliable, responsive, and pleasant to deal with as Mike.

Huge sewer back up happened in my home! I called Progressive and within the hour they showed up to help! They found the problem to be a faulty check valve and the backup a result of DEP's negligence. After they helped to keep the sewage water at bay, they installed a new check valve and a pump and helped clean up the mess! Simply the best!

I used these people twice to fix things in my new house.
I thought they were very expensive and upselling, but they did the job. THEN
I hired them for a repair on another property. After being paid for the work they never returned my calls to come back finish the job. I must have called 5 times over the course of a week and they truly vanished. I was foolish to pay them before the work was done. My bad. I would NOT recommend them.
