Fabian kept me posted when their ETA changed which I always appreciate. They arrived on time and quickly resolved my problem for a very reasonable charge.

$500 cheaper and more responsive than others I contacted. Did the job fast and cleanly. New hot water works great

We were nervous about having to call a plumber for the first time since buying our house. We called Bob and he was able to talk to us about what the problem could be and gave a quote over the phone. He came out the same day which was great. Fixed the problem we called for, found and fixed a leak we had no idea existed until it was pointed out and warned us about a potential issue that may unfortunately come up due to our old plumbing. We will be calling Bob for any future plumbing issues and highly recommend giving him a call.

Great team of people, couldn't ask for better. Picked up the phone when called and came over within the hour!
They unclogged my sink in 30 mins when it took Rotor-Rooter 2 hours with no real progress. They saved me a lot of time $$ because if i followed what RR suggested I've would have been asking people to tear down dry walls in the basement to get to the pipes.
If your looking for a great plumber call them first!

Don't let the fact that all 3 reviewers (so far) are from California.... Franklin Lowe & Son is an awesome plumber for the area around Glen Ridge and Bloomfield NJ. My family has been using them for *generations* -- literally. Since the early 1960's. Scott is great. Best. Plumber. Ever. I haven't found anything like Franklin Lowe & Son in California, alas.

Ladies and gentlemen, I do not believe you can possibly find better and more conscientious and reliable plumbers than Imperial Plumbing and Heating from Nutley, NJ. We have used them as our plumbing service provider for almost 30 years (major AND minor jobs), and we hope to continue to use them for many years to come. They are ultra-reliable, they are dedicated, and they are reasonably priced. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone better than Imperial Plumbing & Heating from Nutley, NJ. I am far from easy to please, but Imperial passes the test with flying colors on all accounts. I recommend them whole-heartedly.

Oscar is responsive and has now come to my house for 3 separate projects. Each time I know when he is coming, he confirms if it is an emergency or other in order to prioritize and charges fair prices. I would recommend Oscar for anything from snaking a drain to replacing a furnace.

Hired Riverside to wallpaper a small bathroom as well as change a cartridge on my shower fixture which had rusted.
In terms of the wallpaper, they did a decent job. It took a lot more time than I expected so in the future I would push for a flat fee on something like this rather than go hourly.
For the shower fixture, I wish they had told me this was beyond their expertise. They fiddled around for 3+ hours and installed the cartridge incorrectly and unevenly. They then said my fixture hardware was broken because it could not be installed on top of the cartridge (due to the way they had installed it). A few days later I called a plumber and they were able to fix it in 30 minutes without any issues. Luckily, they did not charge for this but I have a feeling the wallpaper job was padded due to the time they spent here.

I found myself without heat at the beginning of the cold weather season due to poor initial installation of my radiant heat system. The original installers had incorrectly treated my combo water heater like a conventional boiler, and looked me right in the face that they knew what they were doing and charged me as such. When Sal Jr. came to do his initial assessment, I was instantly relieved to hear someone finally sound knowledgable, and be able to explain his plan to really fix my problem. Thanks to this knowledge and attention to all of the many details, I finally have a fully functioning radiant heat system. My house has never been so warm. Sal Trippi Plumbing worth every penny as their proper installation will save you thousands in the long run.

Had a scheduled service appointment on November 4, 2020. Although the technician that was on-site was great, can't say the same for the project coordinator. Thought a repair for the water heater was happening in one shot. However, to the surprise of the technician, he didn't even know he was doing a repair. Was told there would be some kind of warranty on the work, and again, this was a surprise to the technician as well. Thought this repair could happen in a few hours and be warrantied for at least 1 month. Nope! The technician basically said that for work he didn't think would last, he would not offer a warranty. His visit ended being a consult which is NOT what I had agreed to as I thought this repair could actually be done and not something that was iffy. So for basically a half hour consult, forked over appx $139. Although the coordinator offered to deduct the amount off the price of a new water heater, which the technician said should have a 6 year warranty, the one the coordinator sent paperwork for only stated 3 years. When this was mentioned, he said the research was done by other members of his team and that new paperwork correcting the warranty would be sent. Nope! This was the 3rd strike. Paperwork was NEVER received, and at this point, didn't see a point to call him again just to be angered more.

RIP OFF. STAY AWAY.
Recently had a broken waste pipe and flood in basement of rental property. My local plumber is not able to do such work so he recommended I call Sam at ViperJet. Sam was not available that evening so he referred me to one of his friends at City Plumbing (stay away from them too) who immediately headed over. After 45 minutes of work and no results I was charged $500. I tried calling Sam at ViperJet but communication is not his thing especially when him and his friends are ripping you off.
A couple days later I was in contact with roto rooter and they were able to clear out the pipe and the flood subsided. They also gave me an estimate of what it would cost to fix the pipe permanently. I went to my plumbers office and explained everything that happened. My plumber called Sam and spoke to him on the phone for ten minutes explaining to him what the situation was. Sam said he would go over and look but I was still not able to get a hold of him on the phone. Without any other notice I received a text message a couple days later that I had an appointment with Sam that coming Wednesday.
After scheduling some of my week around being there Wednesday I took a closer look at the message the morning of and it had a link to view the estimate. I was confused how there could be an estimate if Sam had not even seen the job site yet. The estimate was for $350 for Sam to look inside the pipe with a camera. I immediately called him and asked what was going on. He said he needed to see it for himself. I reminded him that my plumber had spent ten minutes on the phone explaining to him what the entire situation was and I reminded him myself right then and there. He responded Oh, I cant do that. You nee to call *******. They do stuff like that. TIMEOUT. THIS GUY WAS TOLD EXACTLY WHAT THE SITUATION WAS AND HE TRIED TO CHARGE ME $350 TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT A JOB THAT HE KNEW HE WASNT GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO. After I mentioned how roto rooter was able to clear out the pipe he said I Don't like to recommend them because they rip people off. Yup, it's not Sam at ViperJet and his friends ripping people off. It's roto rooter who actually accomplishes the job they are getting paid to do. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Sam at ViperJet and anybody he tries to refer to you.

Be warned! Will charge you $75 right off the bar for travel expenses no matter where they''re coming from, and likely charge over $180 for about 5 mins of work. Meanwhile took they over 36 hrs to actually show even though they had quoted an arrival time of between 1-2 hrs. Customer service on the phone was also extremely rude and unprofessional! Find a different plumber unless you want to be robbed blind!

I had what I thought was a cracked drain pipe in my bathtub that was causing a leak to my downstairs neighbor. On a snowy Friday afternoon, Jonathan stopped by and replaced 3 broken PVC pipes (2 that I was unaware of) and replaced the bathtub stopper. Because my tub is a jetstream, there was little to no room to do any work, but after 4 hours of hard work, Jonathan got everything up and running with no problems as I write this review nearly 3 to 4 weeks later. Jonathan was super patient, professional, and persistent in ensuring everything worked properly!

This company is a nightmare. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. I went through Home Depot, they set me up with these guys. Full HVAC install. Needless to say, a month later they ripped the whole thing out, started over. Still doesn't work.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
