Awesome work!  My son flushed a toy down the basement and clogged the whole line.  I called at night and they came first thing in the morning.  Did a great job quickly and very neatly fixing the issue.  Highly recommend Jim and his guys very happy with their work and service.

Jim is the best. Intelligent, loves his craft, communicates very well. Work quality is top notch and prices very competitive. Tough to find great plumber - he is the keeper :-)

Yesterday we woke up to a cold house. The pilot light was not lit and I tried to re-light it by following the instructions on the side of the furnace which did not work. Jim, from  Allure, came out to diagnose the problem. Turns out I didnt wait long enough between turning the control switch off to restarting. All he did was turn the control switch on and turn the electrical back on and poof, the furnace was working. He was very nice and didnt charge us for his visit! I will definitely use Allure for any future plumbing needs.

Allure Plumbing and Heating is (without a doubt) the absolute best service-oriented company that I have EVER done business with in my entire life! Jim (and/or anyone else who works for him at Allure) will always do a fantastic job and at a more than fair price. If you live in the Bergen Co. area, then this is your best choice for addressing all of your plumbing matters. What service!! I had no heat in my home so after a little research on the internet,  I was fortunate enough to find ALLURE PLUMBING & HEATING. I emailed Allure Plumbing & Heating on Tuesday night after 9pm, by 8:15am Wednesday morning, there was a message from Allure Plumbing. It gets better than that! I spoke with Jim at 9:40am and by 11:01am my heat was fixed! No fuss, no muss! Jim was professional, helpful, honest and his price was extremely reasonable. I will absolutely call ALLURE PLUMBING & HEATING again for all of my plumbing and heating needs.

Jim is fair, honest and does excellent work, you can't ask for much more.  He has a team of guys led by Nick and another guy who's name escapes me but they're all awesome.  I know nothing about plumbing, preventative maintenance, etc - they explain everything and they don't make you feel like a dunce in the process.  If you have plumbing needs, give these guys a ring, we've used them twice and they're phenomenal.  Professional, on time, and reasonable.

Jim gave me a honest and reasonable price for installing a new hot water circulating pump. He came on the date and time as promised. Been 1 month and everything is working great. He is our plumber for future issues!

I found Jim through an HVAC provider and so glad I did! My usual hvac couldn't come till tomorrow and we have baseboard hot water heater that wasn't working so needed a plumber anyway. We desperately needed heat ASAP! He was there within the hour and did an easy fix quickly and efficiently. Don't hesitate to call him for your urgent HVAC needs for hot water baseboards!

After moving into our new home, we discovered a variety of plumbing problems.  We are so happy that we listened to the suggestions of others in the neighborhood who suggested Allure.  They came within 1 day and they were able to do the work later in the same day.  Very professional.  Everyone was friendly and the work was meticulous.  It was great that they a whole team of people working on our basement so the work got done in only 3 hours instead of a whole day.  They cleaned up everything and it looks and works great.

My laundry sink was clogged and would overflow whenever my washing machine went through the rinse cycle. I called Allure based on the positive reviews from Yelp (and the fact that they were just one town over. Jim answered on this cell phone and I was able to make an appointment for the very next morning. The plumber (David) arrived ahead of schedule and waited in the van. I asked him in the house and he was able to clear the drain with a snake/auger in 10 minutes. The whole experience was professional and painless. The cost was reasonable as well. Will use Allure Plumbing again for future needs.

The owner, James, answers right away. He either comes as soon as possible or sends one of his employees. Both times I've had a plumbing emergency, he or an employee came out within a couple hours!  I'm impressed by that. Recently had a corroded pipe repaired and some leaky faucets replaced. Took a few hours and was only a couple hundred dollars. I was expecting a lot more for how long and how hard the employee worked. He cleaned up after himself and was always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Great contractor. We had our furnace replaced and they did an excellent job. I will highly recommend them.

I am writing about my second interaction with Allure Plumbing.  My wife had complained that whenever we activated the washers, there was this noticeable vibration with the pipes that were below the ground floors.  The washer was in the basement, but you could hear the vibrations on the ground floor!  The vibrations had gotten worse over time, and she and I became concerned the pipes would break.  So, I called Allure Plumbing again.  This time Jim, the owner, came.  This service call was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so he came prepared with a face mask.  We explained the problem to him, and he educated us about our situation.  Basically, we had a water hammer when the washer needed water from the house pipes.  James was able to apply the simplest fix of installing a pair of small water hammer arresting devices (for hot and cold water pipes) between the house pipes and the washer.  That greatly reduced the vibrations as well as the sound.  We could no longer hear the vibration from the ground floor.  The price for the labor and parts were once again very reasonable.  Due to the COVID-19 situation, he was now able to offer his customers a way to pay the bill online.

Thanks again, and we will be calling Allure Plumbing again for future work.

I have been using ALLURE plumbing for 4 yrs. James and his team are very trustworthy and dependable. He may not be the cheapest plumber you will find but his reputation and work is solid. The old expression You get what you paid for I have been mislead by other plumbing companies in the past, you wont get that from ALLURE.

JIm Murphy is simply THE BEST. Jim and his crew have been doing plumbing work at our house for years and they are terrific. Whether it's an emergency like we had a few days ago or just an a replacement water heater or a remodel (like we are in the middle of now) there is no one better and no one else we would call. Jimmy is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and probably one of the greatest people you'll ever get to know. Always there when you need him and always gets the job done. If you need a plumber you can call anyone but if you want a great professional plumber who is fair, trustworthy, hardworking, and committed to helping you through any plumbing difficulties then you have to call Allure.

We had to replace our furnace with the temperatures dropping so we reached out to a bunch of plumbers and Jim was the most prompt replying back - most took days to even return a call.  He and his team were very professional and quick to replace our furnace at a reasonable price.  Highly recommended.

Great service. He let us know in advance that he was running late today so we knew when to expect him to come. He didn't talk down to us and answered all our questions. We won't ever call another plumber.

I recently used Allure to install a tankless water heater.  The job was done well, and everything was left clean.  I had a few plumbers take a look and offer their opinion on how to best install things.  While Allure didn't have the cheapest quote, it was competitive, and I have no doubt that I made the right choice.  I personally found Jim's design the best, and he was very good about answering all my questions and explaining how and why he was going to do things the way he intended.  Bottom line is that he does things the right way, and I would highly recommend!

Noticed our standard hot water heater had rotted and was leaking. Called Allure Plumbing and was able to get a same-day estimate via text messaging just by sending them pictures of our system. They showed up ON TIME the very next day and upgraded us to a tankless unit. Reviews showed the brand of heater they installed is rated as top notch. I HIGHLY recommend this crew!

Our furnace went out during a cold spell, and the plumber that installed it wouldn't return our calls for 3 days. I saw the great reviews on Yelp for Allure Plumbing, and called them first as they were close by to our home. Jim answered promptly, and after hearing our problem, came over right away. We felt pretty dumb that we hadn't located the furnace reset button, but he showed us where it was, and turned the heat back on for us. Our hero! Not only that, he was completely honorable, and would not charge us for his time.

2. Knowledge level: Allure Plumbing has seasoned professionals who understand heating and plumbing issues to the depth where they are able to figure out issues that may otherwise take a long time and create additional expense.
3 Response Time: I have contacted Jim Murphy on many occasions at all given times of day and night and get a timely response. He even communicated with me for a service need when he was on a Caribbean vacation with his family!
4. Honest Team: Jim Murphy is an honest person and takes accountability for the work being performed and provides an outstanding warranty on the job completed.
5. Reasonable rates: All the above points which make Allure Plumbing a delight to work with is supplemented with very reasonable rates.

We are really pleased with Allure Plumbing & Heating and have been using their services for almost 5 years and will continue to use them in the future as well! Thank you Allure Plumbing & Heating! You guys rock!

I found late at night my water heater leaking, so I started looking in the internet for plumbers in the area, search and check all the reviews and I found Allure... I check the reviews, which by the way were mostly good, called them the next morning. The owner James answered, I explain the situation told me he would come by in an hour, well he came before the hour, he explain the situation gave a price and after we agreed he told me he would be back by 1pm and by 12:55 they were ringing the door bell. They replaced the water heater, it was shot, left me no mess to clean, they were very polite and understanding,
I will definitely used them again in the future...

We completed a major renovation with Jim as a major part. He replaced all our plumbing throughout the house. We renovating two bathrooms and two kitchens. He removed all waste and water lines and replaced them with pvc and copper. He also installed a new high efficiency boiler that we love, replacing the former forced air system with hot water base board heat. He got particularly excited about working on heat. This was a huge project and with that came challenges, frustration, and obstacles. Jim was a stand up guy throughout. He is honest and is a family man. He is super responsive to any issues. He is someone you would want to work with.

Called allure because of good ratings on yelp and he did not disappoint. Called me back promptly and came out within 24 hours to fix my broken toilet. Courteous friendly and would not hesitate to use Jim again for other plumbing related needs.  Definitely wanted to provide my feedback because so often people say they will show up and then have an excuse and that was not my experience with Jim and Allure!

Have used Allure Plumbing numerous times; Jim and his crew are always great and polite! Needed a new gas fired 40-gal water heater. Got a quote from Allure; checked around and Jim's total price (for the tank plus labor) was very fair. Plus...his quality of work cannot be matched. Jim did not charge extra for some add'l plumbing items that needed to be done. I highly recommend Allure.

Allure Plumbing saves the day again!  I have called Allure in the past and dealt with Jim the owner again.  I had water coming through my kitchen ceiling from the bathroom upstairs and had no idea why.  What appeared to be a big problem that could easily have cost a lot was handled with ease.  Jim replaced the tub faucet quickly and cleanly.  His quick service and knowledge kept the costs down and prevented further damage.
