Rude and extremely unprofessional. Called to try and setup an appointment about a water heater needing repair. The man I spoke to cut me off immediately and said there is no such thing as water heater repair, it would need to be replaced. Water heaters can in fact be repaired and it lists it as a service right on their website. When I challenged, he promptly hung up on me. What a joke. So glad I had this experience now and not when they were in my home. Look elsewhere.

In reviewing the yelp reviews, it looks like this has happened to other people as well. What kind of business owner treats customers this way?

I LOVE working with Lenny. I called in a panic because we'd just had a new washer and dryer installed, then all of a sudden we had a flood of water on the floor. He and Anthony just happened to be driving by when he answered, so when he said we'll be right over, he was literally at my door in a minute. Then when they walked in, they took their shoes off without my asking. Already off to a great start.

They fixed the problem (sewer and trap issues) and Lenny told us to get a sink alarm. He was patient in answering all our questions (my Dad and I) and he doesn't talk down to me which I appreciate because I won't call back when that happens.

Hopefully I won't have any more emergencies but I look forward to working with Lenny and his son(s) again.

I am the practice manager for Bergen County Veterinary Center, in Waldwick NJ and can not say enough about the efficiency and customer care that Lenny from My 2 Sons plumbing has demonstrated.   We contacted one week for an estimate, received the estimate; which we felt was fair and competitive and by the next week the entire project was done.  The project was to create a dental suite for our treatment area and I have no doubt that we chose the right plumber to work with!   I would highly recommend Lenny and his team for any personal or professional project.

Had everything backing up into the house. A previous plumber came in and made a mess a few weeks ago and didn't fix the problem. Lenny came over and did a great job minimizing mess and spending the time to clean the pipe, and then use a camera to determine the cause of the problem, and then clean it again. Turns out we had roots in the line, so he recommended we do a root killer as well to help prevent the problem from coming back. Very grateful for a nice job.

The two guys came over and we're honest with us. They said the garbage disposal needs 3 screws and that it is something that I can do. They didn't charge us. Super nice. If we need to get plumbers, I'm calling these guys.

I called in the morning and spoke with Lenny and he came over that morning to give me an estimate on my plumbing problem. My shower wasn't working properly, when I turn on the water to a comfortable temperature the entire fixture would shake and knock. Lenny told me when he would be coming, he then let me know when he was on his way. After he examined the problem he explained it to me. I thought I would need to replace all the pieces, but Lenny said I didn't. He left to get parts and returned promptly and he fixed it that morning for a fair price!  I can't say enough good things about this experience. Lenny is honest and does great work. I'm so happy to have found a great plumber!

We just had an emergency situation and they were on it. Professional. Experienced. Efficient. And just like that order was restored in our home. Highly recommend these guys.

We had an issue with the sink in our tenant apartment, we called him on a Sunday in the evening, explained the situation he gave us a round about price. Set a time for an appointment for the following day. He came took care of the issue within 30 mins, priced well. Pretty much saved the day. I will call him for all our plumbing issues. Highly recommend.

I've had to call plumbers twice in the last 3 months due to drainage back-flowing. The first visit resulted in snaking out paper and hand towels. The second visit was much more expensive but resulted in removing a cotton-like clog from the mainline and hot water hydro-jetting of the line and traps.

Lenny is a straight shooter. He'll tell you what he thinks is going on, give you the remedy, and provide you with options. Anthony was also very knowledgeable and responsive. Present them with your problems, and they'll have solutions.

I own a two-family rental property in Jersey City. i have been looking for a reliable, trustworthy, go-to plumber forever, and I have finally found him -- this company is top notch and trustworthy. They stand by their work and don't look for short cuts. In fact, they had to repair short cuts that i prior owner's contractor had made. I'm glad i called this company. First things first, we had called to set up an appointment to fix 2 leaky toilets and maintenance of clearing out sewer lines via flushing. Scheduling was simple. We didn't have to play phone tag (as i have had too with other contractors) -- phone calls and text are always answered punctually. The team assessed the problem and gave a reasonable priced estimate -- explanation of the problem made sense. Coincidentally, a few days later another separate pipe issue was discovered and this is where Larry hit the home run. Once again we called him up and he came right away and he tackled a large behind the wall pipe problem and really came through for me (as owner) and the tenants. He really delivered, stayed later and fixed the problem impacting both tenants. Everything was cleaned and everyone is content. Job well done. Will call up Bergen drain cleaning again in a heart beat. This is top notch and reasonably priced plumbing company. Very much deserves a strong positive review.

Lenny is a great guy. They responded quickly and professionally. My $99 call turned into over $500! They removed a toilet and snaked a reportedly 70'. It's up to you if you think that warrants a charge of over $500! They did put the toilet back too...

After recently moving to Cliffside Park NJ,  Lenny and his son were able to fix a couple of plumbing issues we encountered in our first two weeks. Lenny communicated well, provided estimates, worked fast and even came out once and didn't charge us for a fast fix. Highly recommend!

First of all, anyone complaining about customer service has their priorities mixed up. Maybe Lenny's Brooklyn accent is too much for some people? These guys are plumbers, not a hotel staff. And they do great work.

I found My 2 Sons through Home Advisor after this past weekend's rainstorm. Lenny and his guys came over on Sunday a few hours after we spoke. We had water seeping through the basement floor and a backup in our basement sink. We bought this house 3 months ago. The previous owners told us they had it snaked every 6 months, AFTER we had already closed and moved in. Before Lenny we had 2 other plumbers come to give a professional opinion of the source. One said the seeping water was a structural issue, the other said he thought the backup was caused by tree roots and wanted to run a camera through the drain. After a few failed attempts to snake it, Lenny suggested that the seeping water was from the drain backup and to simply hydro-jet it. He came back the next day and jetted through what seemed like 10 years of buildup. Our insurance adjuster came to make his own assessment, and made a case that the seeping water was actually exterior water. Lenny recommended waiting until the next rain (which was last night) to see if there was any more seeping water. SURPRISE, no additional water came in after Lenny and his team came over. They identified a few additional issues unrelated to the plumbing (moisture under the flooring, potential mold in walls, etc.) that our insurance will now need to cover. It was a pleasure working with My 2 Sons. Highly recommended.

I phoned for urgent help - a burst pipe - and the man who answered hung up on me as I tried to explain the issue. I called back and He very rudely told me that he cannot fix a burst pipe and hung up again! This is unprofessional and totally unnecessary on a day that is meant to be one of goodwill! I'm disgusted.

Great team of people, couldn't ask for better. Picked up the phone when called and came over within the hour!

They unclogged my sink in 30 mins when it took Rotor-Rooter 2 hours with no real progress. They saved me a lot of time $$ because if i followed what RR suggested I've would have been asking people to tear down dry walls in the basement to get to the pipes.

If your looking for a great plumber call them first!

We had an urgent situation, Lenny came immediately, and replaced the water heater and did some complicated pipe work within a day.  I don't know enough about prices to comment on his, but he was very efficient and easy to work with.  I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Arranged to have Dial A SewerMan come out to clear a sewer line back up. They arrived within an hours time. Remedied the problem and made sure the line was clear. And even cleaned up afterwards. Terrific job guys. Thanks.

Father and son owned business .. I called them up because My sewer drain backed up ... these guys came in and I couldn't find my clean up valve ( I think thats how it's called) well he came and he looked until he found it... these guys came quick, got to business cleaned up the biohazard and gave me future instruction on how to avoid this problem in the future, Which is the best thing anyone can do for anyone ...when they walked out I knew this should be the last I would have to deal with sewer problems .... and would call them in a heart beat if so !!!!

Very happy with the service. Our main drain was backing up and we called at about noon on a Sunday. They arrived here in about a half hour and the problem with taken care of with no problems. Very professional and helpful. We would definitely use Bergen Drain Cleaning again.

Lightning fast response. Anthony came out ASAP and did his absolute best to keep a messy situation under control. At the end of the day it was expensive, but it was done right on a Saturday night.
