Best System Maintenance in Nashville TN

Helton's was wonderful when my furnace broke. I called in the morning because I smelled gas and David was at my house by the afternoon to check it out. He was extremely prompt with responding and showed up just when he said he would. As it turns out I needed my whole HVAC system replaced, which is any homeowner's nightmare, but David and his team made the process as easy as possible. Can't recommend this company enough. They are good people who do quality work!

Came out quickly to install multiple bathroom sinks and fix plumbing underneath. I still had a leak overnight, and he was back out first thing in the morning making sure I was taken care of. Would highly recommend, and would use again.

David is reliable and prompt. Works fast and gets the job done. We use David for all our plumbing and electrical needs!!

On July 3 2023 Wednesday  my frigidaire gallery side by side ice maker tray got warped somehow stopped making ice. Popping noise began like someone knocking on the door.  I tried to do it myself. Bought a icemaker repair kit online $89. I couldn't get it to slide in place. Called Lee company they came out took my part slipped it back in place. Charged me $300 still no ice. I called someone called NEI bldg systems who did appliance repair. The men came out that same day checked the icemaker an qouted me a new icemaker repair price. Came back Friday installed it. And I had ice by 6 pm that day ! They were professional to the point knew thier stuff. Thank you so much. I got what I paid for. If you need someone to repair your appliance. Do give NEI  a call. Saturday afternoon  after Thanksgiving (holiday weekend of course) our heat pump stopped blowing air  and of course the temperature was going to the 30's Sunday morning. The technician from Griffin returned my call in 15 minutes. While I was explaining the issue the heat came on so we decided to let it run hopefully until Monday. Sunday morning it wasn't working and smelled like something was burning. He was here within 30 minutes, discovered that the fan motor was burning out and the circuit breaker was hot and ready to burn. Sunday was cold. Sunday night was cold. Monday morning a tech was here with the new parts and had the heat back on before mid day.

I've been a homeowner for 35 years in five different cities, and can honestly say that Jewell Mechanical is the best HVAC service I've ever worked with.    Scheduling is easy, their staff are on time, capable and professional, and their preventive maintenance program is terrific .   The tech on our most recent  service visit (Brian Richmond) was excellent, and I would happily have him back to our home for any future appointments.

I sat on this review for a bit to ensure I had my final thoughts.
I used Coolray for plumbing and electrical issues. They wouldn't give me a quote by phone or online for basic services (even a ballpark), instead insisting on looking first. To look (for plumbing) they had to get things taken apart ensuring you're pretty much going to go ahead and pay whatever to resolve the issue. We initially called for one plumbing issue, they fixed it (for a steep price) and the plumber was friendly. Said plumber also took a look at another issue I had as I mentioned it off-hand, and said it was fixed but it resumed to its completely broken ways as soon as he left. Can't complain too much there as he didn't charge and thought he had resolved it (plus noone else has been able to fix this issue either).  To get a price that wasn't as bonkers high he encouraged us to join their Customer Care loyalty group (for a price). I did. It was still really high, but I was never billed for that customer care thing so I'm assuming it was lost somewhere along the way.
Called Coolray again for electrical issues. Had been working with another local electrician who were at the moment not responsive. Coolray was super responsive and out quickly. They fixed part of what we paid them to fix, but there was some misunderstanding. We pointed out a light that was arcing and causing issues. Both lights behind a panel needed replacing as wiring for both switches was frayed. They only replaced one of these two switches, which means they took the panel off, saw the fraying, and only replaced one of them. I realized this was so when I got home and turned on the assumed fix light only to see flickering and hear a pop. Called Coolray to see if they could fix this issue which we thought we'd already paid for, and they said they had only charged us for one of the two switches and quoted us a remarkably high price to come out (including a service fee for making the drive at all) and fix the additional switch. We went with another electrician for half the price.
So--solid work for the most part if some miscommunication, high even for the market area.

My husband is in heart failure and we needed a simple plumbing fix that he might usually be able to do.  We reached out to three plumbing companies and heard from Michael Shaver right away.  They came out the next day, fixed the issue, and charged a fair rate.  We also like that they are from Bethpage that is a small community very near where we live!

Surprised this company does not show up with any reviews, presently, on Yelp. Needed completely new A/C compressor/coil - due to the cost, asked for four bids from area contractors. Proctor and Graves bid came in at around HALF of other bids; yes, you heard that right HALF of other bids, but here's the real value on that. The HALF of other bids was on superior equipment/manufactor according to Consumer Reports. The HALF price was on an American Standard when other's were bidding double there cost on low-end GOODMAN systems.  The work was done on time, with installers who were careful and courteous and the clean up and removal of old equipment was accomplished all within a span of a few hours.  Anyone in or around the north and east side of Nashville would be well served to have this company bid your major A/C work. Oh, and let me add. Their service fee of $69? That's $20 LESS than the company I've used previously in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area.

They advertise prompted and good services but twice they failed to show. Only after I called they immediately sent a text saying their technician was at a job that is bigger then they thought to call their number and rescheduled. Second time I call when they weren't here at schedule time, the woman told me she would get back to me. An hour later I didn't see their text, they called and told me because I didn't reply their technician was going to the next appointment. My appointment was at 11a they canceled me at 2:30pm. I do not recommend this company, simply because they are not dependable...

Save your time and money!! Called these guys to fix my restaurant AC and they spent 3 days attempting to fix the problem. Meanwhile I am losing customers to a hot restaurant. Had to call another company who were smart enough to fix the problem in 3 hours. Dillingham and Smith proceeded to charge me $4000 dollars to not fix the problem and Eric Gibbens only charged me $500 to actually fix the problem. I now use Eric for my AC needs and recommend you do the same. His number is 615-394-0320.
