I just had Helten's out here today to replace my air conditioner / heat pump. They are a family-owned business and David and his son came out today to replace my equipment. I could not be happier from the experience I had today and the bidding process. These folks are down to earth and have been in the business for 35 years. He was honest, easy to talk to and let him know what I was looking for and did exceptional work at my home today. Very reasonably priced. I got six bids total and he actually came in slightly at the lowest price. But that does not mean I got crappy equipment. The equipment he provided me with today was a very good brand name that can be trusted. 10-year parts warranty and a 2-year labor warranty which nobody else provided the 2-year labor warranty. Just overall a great experience. I would recommend this company for either general maintenance on your systems or replacement of systems.

As a property manager in the Nashville area, plumbing problems are the number one issue I face daily. So, when I call need a plumber, I need them to show up on time and do a quality job for a fair price. That's what I always call Hewitt Plumbing.

They were awesome last year used them for a clog came out in a few hours and had it fixed in 30 minutes and it was reasonably priced! People were great too!!! Super nice!

Unfortunately it took me two times to realize what they're saying is fact so I had to have them come back out today.  6/13

Just like the first visit they were able to squeeze me in they were here almost exactly when they said they would be they came in they did a job they were professional they were courteous and they were done I will continue to use them for any of our plumbing issues going forward thank you so much!!

Had a Lee Company check out my parents struggling AC unit. It seemed to be underperforming. Scheduled a visit then had to ask them to change the time.
No problem. They communicated the change of schedule and showed up on time. Greg, the technician, fully checked out my parent's unit and communicated to me his findings. He was great. The response and communication of this company is spot on. Everyone I talked to did what they said they would do. Can't recommend them enough. They were thorough, professional and a pleasure to do business with. TY to all.

Our hot water heater stopped working properly when it was -10 to -20 degrees out with the wind chill around Christmas this year and we were thankfully able to get ahold of Champion when no other plumbers would take our call since everyone was too busy. They were set to see us later in the day and they were able to come several hours early, promptly fixed the issue, and gave us advice on how to prevent it from happening again. Their prices were very good too (much cheaper than some others) and their customer service was top notch. We would definitely recommend them and will definitely call them again when we have a plumbing issue.

The plumber was great.  It was just getting them there at a reasonable time.  Scheduled an early morning time...took a half day off work.  No plumber shows up.  Call one hour after schedule time to be advised we were bumped due to a 'distress call.'  Just telling the customer who tries to preplan was not high on their list.  They did agree to come out after hours, but made for a frustrating day.

We had a great experience with Josh! He answered our call promptly and was at our home on a Friday within 30 min to assess our kitchen leak. He came back on the following Monday to install new hardware. He was respectful, friendly, and most of all, did a great job!

This company is very sketchy actually this guy isn't even licensed bonded or insured they didn't do none of there  work was up to codes and the owner jason seems to have a bad drug problem they left our house a disaster and flooded they never answer the phone just a horrible company stay away from these guys

Update : actually get a reply from this company on this review and they want to act like it's another company SMH stay clear away from this company I've also filed complaint with bbb to try to get a refund for what they did

The company does okay work, but every job they do for you they charge you $5.00 for gloves.  There is definitely some sketchy pricing with this company.  They also did a $1500 job for us for a filtration system.  Six months later we had issues and sent them to look at it, and they told us that that system should not have been put in as it wasn't big enough for the building.  However, they had no interest in paying for it as soon as I told them that it was their company that installed this.  They have some nice workers in the office, but some poor project managers.  They don't give two shits about the customer, just their profit

These guys get it fixed! We had a tricky kitchen drain clog and they quickly and professionally followed the process until it was identified and corrected. They arrived within the time frame stated and were professional and pleasant to work with. Have heard from other people that JL does large jobs too. Will call them again when needed.

James was excellent to work with! He got our gas line ran the same day. Definately recommend him!

*WOMEN BEWARE*  Ace Plumbing Will Suck Your Money Right Down The Drain!

I am pretty typical of most women in that when something needs to be repaired around the house, I have to call a friend or a company to come out and fix it.  My handy-ness is limited to changing light bulbs.  So, when I discovered a wet spot that wouldn't go away, I called Ace.  I had gotten friendly service in the past and I was happy when a plumber came out the next morning.  

He assured me that he had found and repaired the source of the leak, handing me a bill for $355.50 before he left. All I cared about was that the downstairs carpet wouldn't be soaked anymore and I could stop worrying about busted pipes, mold and a rotting house frame!  Yay!

Fast forward a few days and the wet spot is B-A-C-K...it never left, I guess!  I called Ace right away and spoke to a very sweet woman, telling her that the issue was not yet resolved.  She made me feel like Ace understood and would take care of everything.  I decided to stop using the downstairs tub to see if that could have been the source.  Sure enough, after a few days, the carpet was back to bone dry!  

So you can see my issue now...here I have a bill for $355 for a repair that had NOTHING to do with what I called Ace for...and I still might have a leak somewhere!  Back come the worries about a busted pipe, mold, rot, etc.  Plus now the added worry of a $355 bill for a drippy faucet. Ace was supposed to make things better...not worse!

I called Ace again to let them know that I would like my bill adjusted or for them to come out and fix the actual leak.  I had to speak with the owner, since this was a bill adjustment / warranty issue.  Mike said that the bill seemed high for the work they did, but that he needed to research the issue and that in the meantime, he would send someone out to see if they could find the leak.

A plumber came out and turned off all the water and said that there wasnt a leak.  He said that the wet spot was probably caused by someone stepping out of the shower or water getting through the curtain.

That was especially frustrating for me...why didnt he state that last time?  Why did he fix a drippy faucet and tell me it was the cause of the leak when he is now saying it is just water from the shower?

To make matters worse, I received an invoice in the mail from Ace this week.  It showed that I owed them over $400, when my original invoice says $355.50.  I put another call in and learned that the plumber had added things up on the invoice wrong, but that they would honor the original $355.50.  While I appreciate that they are taking some small responsibility, I will not use them again because I like to be treated with respect, and for them to earn their money.  They took advantage of a single women by fixing the first thing they saw wrong and charging me an arm and a leg.  Dont go to Ace unless you want to end up on a payment plan like me!

I am giving two starts because, despite this fiasco that I am dealing with, I have gotten good customer service from the lady at the front desk and the plumbers have been very nice, clean and respectful.  So one extra star for the great attitudes of Ace employees.  

If you know exactly what needs to be fixed, then I would recommend Ace.  
If you need someone to help you figure out what the problem is, I would absolutely not recommend Ace.

Guess what?  My water heater totally busted this morning.  And guess who I'm calling...not Ace!

I am so thankful for Yelp because at least there is SOMETHING I can do when things go wrong to save others from a similar experience.

The past two weeks have been a nightmare. Do you know what has NOT been a nightmare? Roto-Rooter. During the storm a few weeks ago our finished basement flooded, bad. We couldn't keep up with the water and felt helpless. I called Roto-Rooter right away and within an hour Drew was standing at our front door. Mind you, this was like 11 pm and we have never used their services before. At that point we had no idea what we were dealing with, but we knew it was not great. After agreeing on a price to get the water out, we gave him a deposit and they started to pull water out of our basement, all 1500 gallons of it. The crew packed up around 4am and put in some filters and dehumidifiers. The next day a RR plumber was at our house and identified the issue. Unfortunately insurance is not covering the damage, which was a major blow.

We got back in touch with Drew and told him the situation. He helped us work through a pricing structure for remediation. They also gave us a filter for upstairs. We have a 20 month old and we were very worried about potential health implications from the water. They closed off our basement to prevent the air from circulating upstairs. Then they gutted it, cleaned the floors, studs, etc., and sterilized whatever we could salvage. We lost two dumpsters worth of stuff (floor, walls, couch, tables, kids toys, etc.). It has been incredibly stressful and thankfully they have been extremely helpful and responsive. My husband would have a question, Drew would FaceTime in to talk in through.

We also used a RR plumber to fix the pipe problem. We had a slight set back from Saturday's rain (not related to RR) and RR was back at our doorstep in no time. Drew sent a team member who was familiar with our house who immediately got to work. We're still digging through this nightmare, but we would not be where we are today without the help of Drew and his crew. I highly recommend giving them a call if you need help. I seriously don't know where we would be without their help!

I have called NEI for years. More than I can remember. I have never been disappointed. The last time I called my refrigerator was fixed in less than an hour. Knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, professional and dependable.

I am having thermostat problems on my HVAC system. . .and I need service in general on my units. I need to call someone. . .

I was able to connect with the Roscoe Brown team, and they were able to remedy the situation of the missed appointment. A plumber was able to come on a Saturday and was very helpful in resolving the leak issue.

The company was called to replace a water faucet on the outside of my house. I trusted the company to do the work while I took my family to lunch. When I returned they disassembled the shelving units in my garage and took everything I stored and put all throughout my garage. When I returned from lunch it took me two hours to put something back together that they took apart. Simple respect for someone else's home was completely disregarded. I will never let this company come into my home again

My heat went out and I was worried since some lows of 17 were forecast for the near future. I have a tight budget and had been slow in calling anyone - dreading the cost. I am fortunate that I have 2 separate units - upstairs and downstairs. It was the upstairs unit and we had been making it okay in our upstairs bedrooms. Due to a few recommendations, I called Lee Company. The technician quickly told me that both my units were dead - that my downstairs must be warm due to good insulation. He stated that it would take a long time to get the part for the upstairs unit - if it would even be possible to get it. He brought the installer back the next day to give me a quote. Both the technician and the installer confirmed that both units were dead - even though they were standing in a warm room with freezing temps outside. I was told that they had the units in stock (no choice of units was given) and that the price would go up by the first of the month, but they could get them installed before the low temperatures - if I gave them the go ahead. At this point I had not been offered a written quote or any information about the recommended units. I asked for the quote to be emailed. A few minutes after they left I received a quote for almost $16,000 - with a cancellation clause that stated that immediately upon signing I would be responsible for 15% for a cancellation and restocking fee. The dead downstairs unit has continued to keep the area warm. Another technician (obviously not with Lee Co) quickly realized that the upstairs unit needed a part that cost less than $60, He was able to get the part immediately and It took less than 20 minutes for him to install it. I would never have expected this type of scam from Lee Company.
