Best Water Heater Installation in Minneapolis MN
We had a leaky utility room faucet that was fixed the same day that we called. We were very impressed with the level of professionalism that we received from the time that we called to when the gentleman left our house. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Sometimes in life one finds oneself with a broken water pipe on a Sunday night, in the middle of a pandemic, mere hours before a house inspection that could make or break a sale. Surely, I thought, it would be impossible to find a plumber who would be willing to come on such short notice, who'd have the knowledge and experience to do the job, and who wouldn't charge an absolute fortune.
But as fate would have it, I found Steve @ Hibernian and my plumbing emergency actually turned out to be a positive experience. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and he had the expertise, equipment, and strength to get the job done well. What's more, he was pleasant, professional, and personable... and he was completely fair in his pricing (even with the circumstances).
I highly recommend Hibernian Plumbing.

We had our main drain backing up in our basement and no drain clearing chemical or snake was helping. We called John's Sewer and Drain Cleaning on a Monday morning and they were out within a few hours! The tech quickly cleared a few bucket fulls of roots from our drain. He also explained how we will need to maintain this going forward. We were so happy they could come out so quickly! We will definitely have them come out for routine maintenance visits on those pesky roots...

Needed some help installing a new trap and drain on the kitchen sink. Creative PVC work was definitely the order of the day.
Communication was awesome - Pat described what he would do, when he would show up, and did a fantastic job. Right on time and everything as described.
Professional, neat, and even hooked up the faucet that was my honey-do item for when we had a sink again!
Fantastic job - highly recommend this husband-and-wife team!

I see a lot of negative reviews here, but I'm glad to report that my experience with Roto-Rooter was good. (this was after getting over the price quoted to clear a toilet drain) I removed my toilet before the tech arrived so that saved me a lot of money. A quick research indicated Roto-Rooter is a little bit on the high side of pricing, but the service I received made up for it. My tech was Fred #4155 and I couldn't be happier with the service he provided. He was able to clear a difficult blockage that I failed to unclog myself early that day. I recently purchased the house and couldn't locate the stack access and we was nice enough to help me. He also gave me advice on how to keep my drains clear. Lastly, he pointed out that my toilet mount was cracked which saved me a lot of wasted time and effort. Fred was very nice, efficient and competent.

I had Ben come out and replace some copper pipes that sprung a leak. The price for the repair was reasonable and they arrived in 2 hours after I called. I am not sure if this is typical or if I was just lucky. Either way, I would use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a plumber. Way cheaper than the major brand plumbers and give you major brand service.

I've used Pete to help me finish my basement bathroom as well as a bonus room bath. I've also given his name to many of my friends for their projects such as toilet replacement, leaky faucet repairs, and used him at our place of business (flooring replacements). Pete always responds and gets the job done when we need him to!

I originally had RotoLiars come out & caught them lying & overcharging. I kicked them out of my home.
I then hired St Paul Pipeworks based on a neighbor's recommendation. These guys are great! Professional, reasonably priced, & quality work. I highly recommend them.
5-17-19 Had yet another great experience with St. Paul Pipeworks this time installing a new water heater at my home. Paul & Billy were great.

I called Chris as well as 6 other plumbers on a Sunday and he was the only one who called me back within 10 minutes. He came within 90 minutes and was extremely thorough. I felt his prices were fair, especially given it was a weekend. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job you need.

They were on time and did quality of work. Their Rooter pricing seems to be a good deal but the pricing for other plumber work is just normal pricing you can find anywhere. Their company name would better describe them if it was Discount Rooter and Regular Price Plumbing

I had a very bad experience. From a mistake causing water damage to my house, to missed local code that resulted in paying twice to get the job done, to tile chipped by the plumber on final trim installation. All of the above could be worked out and some were, but overall the owners approach was one of blame and focus on his bottom line rather than my outcome. I hate to leave a small business bad reviews, but as someone who relies heavily on reviews, I wanted the info out there.

I've had two very good experiences with Plumb Right. I really love these guys and I'm generally a little skeptical and cynical of contractors due to having been burned a few times before.
The customer service overall is excellent. It's easy to get in contact with them beyond calling (who likes calling anyone these days?!) via their website, email, Facebook or Angie's List. They're super responsive, getting back to you usually within an hour if not the same business day. They're friendly, polite and super helpful. Before getting any work done they get 3 stars. Soooo many contractors never get back to me, call and leave me long voicemails, tell me they're too busy... I know this is a basic expectation and should be easy to meet but time and time again, I'm surprised by how often others #epicfail at this but Plumb Right gets the #EPICWIN.
Next is their approach to estimating and planning... I wanted a shower installing in our carriage house above our garage and an addition to an industrial looking bannister rail leading up the stair that is made from gas piping (installed by the previous owner). The guys from Plumb Right came out within 24 hours to look at the space and to provide me with a free estimate, no call out charge - another #Win and justification for the 3 stars. What put them up at 4 stars is HOW they performed the estimate. I'm baffled when contractors pull numbers from thin air after taking a quick 30-second look at a job. Frankly, that approach pisses me. I want to understand HOW an estimate is calculated, I want logical, rationale and transparency not a 'gut feel' or 'ball park' because you can't be bothered or aren't able to provide me a better idea: I want to understand dimensions, materials, the steps that will be performed to execute the job, the rough level of effort, benchmark cost data if possible... These guys had their tape measures out, got on their knees, on their tip toes, they created a sketch to talk me through several different ways of performing the job, several risks that might incur additional cost during the job, several different trim levels and how those would alter the cost... perfect!!! Their quote fell in the middle of several others I received beforehand but of all of them. It wasn't the most expensive and it wasn't the most expensive, but I was most confident in the estimate Plumb Right provided me.
Finally the job - part one of two. They just finished the changes to the industrial looking gas pipe banister rail and it looks AWESOME. No joke, it looks exactly the way I hoped it would, better even!! The job took a little longer than anticipated and was a little more complicated than expected but thankfully that didn't incur a higher bill. The job was performed for the quote provided and the results are perfect.
Erik was the name of the gentleman who performed the work and I couldn't be happier with him. I'm looking forward to him returning next month to install the shower!! THANK YOU, ERIK! THANK YOU, PLUMB RIGHT!!

Finally had enough of the shower turning into a bath mid-way through washing my hair, and decided that something must be done. One week and a failed experiment in DIY plumbing later, I decided that something ELSE must be done, and that it would involve a professional.
Google brought me to Augie. His website was informative and, given the option, I'll usually go with a local small business. However, when I called, the recording on the other end of the line told me he was away fulfilling his obligation with the National Guard. I certainly couldn't fault him for that, but the clog had only been getting worse, and this could not wait. Dejectedly, I called a big chain drain-cleaning company, navigated the phone tree, and got put on hold twice, when a familiar number popped back up on my screen--Auggie called me back. He was free. He wanted to clean my drain. Things were starting to turn around.
He showed up promptly, right when he said he would, even though it was the weekend. Super-friendly. He quickly diagnosed and solved the problem, even with my old pipes, even though I had the type of trap he was hoping I didn't. He even gave me some advise about insulting my pipes and whatnot. Nice guy. Doesn't take credit cards. No big deal.
In conclusion: An absolute pleasure to do business with.

Paul, the plumber, showed up even earlier than scheduled (after calling first). Had our problem corrected in a short time at what I considered a very fair price. I will use them again (if necessary).

Very dissatisfied with the timeframe I was given. I was told between 10:00 and 12:00. I even called that morning to confirm and was told someone would be out to my house between 10 and 12. Received a text at 11:50 that Rick was on his way. 40 minutes later still no Rick. I called and was told he's on his way. Rick arrived at 1:15. Dressed professionally and polite. Rick did a very good job explaining what he did and the results of our furnace. Answered all my questions with great detail and I felt he was efficient. I just wish they could give a better timeline. I missed a half of a day of work waiting.

Sabre is an exceptional contractor who did great work for me. After dealing with several contractors upon moving into a new home, Sabre ranks near the top for quality, timeliness, and customer service. They came to finish a job after another contractor had several employees quite and became non-communicative.
I recommend Sabre if you are seeking a reliable contractor to work with.

Needed some plumbing work done on the shower and had no water in the entire house due to no shutoff valve. I called SNS in the morning and was told I would be contacted by someone. Three hours later I called back after not hearing from anyone and was told someone would call me in fifteen minutes. Two hours later I called for the third time and said I still had not heard back. I was told that it would be mentioned I had called three times and someone would get back to me. No one ever called to see if they could help. I had read good reviews on this company but did not have a good experience on my first attempt.

The gas valve/thermostat on my water heater went bad so I called these guys to have them replace the valve. The responding service man told me the valve could not be replaced and I would have to replace the entire unit and it would cost me over $2k. It was a few days before Thanksgiving and my wife was working out of town so I declined the service for the time being. Meanwhile I began researching repairs for the valve. In the end I found the replacement part for $165 and did the work myself. This guy was really only out to sell me a new water heater knowing full well the one I had could be repaired, and under high pressure due to the upcoming holiday he thought he had a sale in the bag. These are the guys who give tradesmen a bad name and should be avoided at all costs.

Was terrible, from not showing up first day to being late .. He knew I had a home warranty, they were the ones that found him. He knew the rules.
This process took over a month to get resolved, He finally came out to the house and told me I had 3 leaks under my kitchen sink. After numerous attempts from myself and the home warranty to get the $$ for fixing the problems he finally came back with a cost of:
$717 for the kitchen faucet (I told him no, I bought one myself and had it installed)
$225.00 garbage disposal
$184.00 old garbage disposal (I could of thrown this away myself after looking at the invoice)
$115.00 piping repair.
The day the problems were corrected he told me to pay bill in full and that he wasn't dealing with the home warranty company and that if I didn't pay him he was charging me an additional $160 per hour. I paid him as I wanted them out of my house. All this took place while I had the home warranty on the phone explaining to him they would be issuing him a check that very day! But Jason from Big River Plumbing, didn't care! my after thought were I should of called the police and had them removed from my property.
Then Jason had the nerve to send me an email thanking me for their business and wished me a 'blessed' day.. Really?!?!?
Save your headaches! this problem took over a month to get resolved. Don't use them for any projects!!!

Dishonest and overpriced. Had no power in a portion of my home. They claimed to have fixed the problem after a full day (over 8 hours) of work and a hefty bill only to have no power again the next day. A different electrician from the same company came out and located the problem and we haven't had trouble since. Attempted to contact customer service only to be given the run around for 3 days and some spiel about how I had multiple problems and it would have taken a lamp technician to have found the problem and that the electrician's job isn't to check every outlet or fixture that might be causing the problem (not to mention the 600$ diagnostics fee that was charged for this exact thing). With such high prices, I would expect excellent customer service and my multiple problems to be solved the first time. Will not use again.
