Best Appliance Repair in Minneapolis MN
We have had two urgent problems. A toilet had parts snap off in the tank - no flushing. We briefly debated do it ourselves. We found Erickson Plumbing on Yelp and connected with them. A very nice gentleman showed up promptly and solved the toilet problem.
We've been missing a programmable thermostat. We revisited Erickson and they quoted us a fair price including bringing a thermostat. A very nice lady, Marie, showed up and made it all happen. It's great to wake up to a warm house. Okay

Calling around for a plumber is never fun and usually means something broke and needs to be replaced, which means $$$$$. Pete at PJS Plumbing will be my first call next time and all the time. I called late Friday needing a hot water replacement and got an estimate from Pete which was considerably less than other places. He called around and got me a water heater for the price he said it would be and it was installed almost by the time I woke up on Tuesday. Its funny that I don't even feel like I spent money, but I saved money compared to the 'other guys' prices. I actually rounded off the price and gave Pete more money. I've already recommended him to a friend. Don't change your phone number, I will be calling to use your services again. But hopefully I wont need to :)

Josh visited our house with a well system issue. It had gotten so bad that we had no running water.
He sketched out a solution, provided the pricing up front, and now we have a system and solution that has everything working great.

Definition of mediocrity, lies, neglect, and unprofessionalism. Mark overinflated his abilities and failed to deliver the final product in a timely fashion. Mark Mathis claims though does not possess a license to provide his services, fails to furnish a contract, and operates with complete abandonment. The quality of workmanship and vendors he employs are next-level trash. Seek another professional at all costs!

Geno was a life saver.
I had the fun of having a sewer backup in my basement right before I left on vacation. Geno came over with a camera, showed me the break in my line going out to the street.
With his help I was able to get the line fixed very quickly and at a cost that other companies were unable to match. Geno took care of pulling the proper permits and meeting with the city inspector as well.

I had to call the office staff on a couple of occasions after installation and speak to a staff member Alisha not only was she rude on both occasions but very unprofessional. I am happy with my product and the service people I dealt with but there office staff could use an upgrade.

I had them out in Sept to do a tune up on my boiler. The tech that came out said that they were unable to do the tune up do to some updated needed on my boiler. He gave me a list of the things that needed to be done and and headed out. Now I am a single mom and don't have much time to deal with my boiler. So I didn't get a second opinion. He said for $1200 which was the discounted price that they would fix everything and it would be good for the winter. I decided that it sounded a bit high but I needed it done.
They came out the tech was very nice and it looked as if everything was done correctly. I got my bill, which was not detailed as I had asked. I did call 7 times to try and get a breakdown for my bill and was never called back. Their serves were guaranteed though so I though perhaps I was good. A couple weeks later I heard air in my line so called them back. The same tech came out and fixed it no charge.
Then when it started to get chilly a week or so later, i hear the air in my lines again. I was going to call when my whole system went down. I did call since it was guaranteed. The new tech that came out was in my basement for about 5 hours trying to figure out what was going on. He had put in calls to 5 different techs about the problem. They all said it was the same thing, the relay. He did not have the correct relay and cut the wires to my transformer/relay and tried to rig another relay instead of getting the correct one. He then told me i needed a new relay and main board. He told me the cost would be around $800, this was with my discount since i had signed up for the comfort club. I said no, because I knew the parts hardly cost $100.
I ordered the parts myself and went to fix it with the help of my neighbor who was an electrician. Only then did i find what a mess my boiler was left in. He had cut the wires to my relay to jimmy rig them to a relay that didn't fit. I know he was trying to help but had made it worse. I then had to find a new transformer/relay another $80. I called to see if they would fix that part and asked what they were charging $800 for since I knew the parts cost and time. I was told i was paying for their employees drug testing, background checks, education and a various other things. They said they do not separate parts/labor and go on a national average for pricing. And that I was paying for the knowledge of the 5 guys that this tech had called when he couldn't figure out what the problem was with my boiler.
I then installed all my parts myself, with the help of my electrician neighbor. It took me a total time of an hour and a half install. After my new parts were in my boiler still would not work. So my neighbor checked the thermostat! It was a $24 thermostat, not all the new parts i had just put into my boiler that was making it not work. So none of it needed to be done if the thermostat would have been checked! My neighbor also load tested my old relay/transformer to see if it was really that and it wasn't, it tested out just fine. I could not use it due to all the wires being cut though.
The company then had the nerve to call me 3 days later after I had fixed my own boiler and told me they could get me a hard date to come fix my boiler. I told them i fixed it myself and what the culprit really was. I had told them to cancel my comfort club membership, which even though i canceled it. I was still billed for it!!! Never again. Nice techs and all but you need to know what you are working on.
I called another company which told me the $800 fix would only be about $275 since i had the parts. I also told them what was done the first time and the price, which i was told i was overcharged.
As a single mom that watches every penny, I would not use this company ever again.

Our service man Nathan got here extra fast, diagnosed our drain problem, and cleared it quickly. He made sure the problem was fixed right, and then afterwards made sure our home was cleaner than when he first arrived. Excellent experience.

We have had to use Air Mechanical several time over the past few months due to the age of our current systems. Today was the water heater, and Chad F. was able to replace a part rather than the water heater itself. He was a great guy and provided great service.

Worst Plumber ever! Came to my house to fix
a water pipe banging problem. Billed me $500
for a water hammer and installation. After he left
the problem continued. He would not re-visit the
problem with out further charges. Had a
professional look at the situation and found out
the problem was due to leaking toilets...which he
fixed for very little cost. That solved the problem.
Shame on you Matt.

Never ever hire Bonfe. My tenant called Bonfe because of a minor leak under the sink, and their plumber came onsite and determined the disposal was broken and it needed to be replaced. All service seemed good until the following happened.
A 3/4HP Garbage disposal retails for between $200-$250, but Bonfe feels it's okay to charge $1250 to replace a garbage disposal. My tenant unknowingly approved this charge because they didn't know the cost of the disposal and Bonfe doesn't disclose the cost of parts versus labor on there invoice. So just doing some basic math a $250 (retail disposal) means there plumber charged $500/hr for labor for the 2 hours they were onsite.
Unless your house is literally flooding save yourself from getting your wallet cleaned in addition to your drains.
They also failed because they are not supposed to service rental properties if the owner isn't present, so strike two Bonfe.

We spent over $300 hiring Randy Lane & Sons Plumbing & Heating to install a gas range in our Minneapolis home and to pull a permit required by the City of Minneapolis.
Randy Lane installed the gas range without issue but absolutely refused to pull the permit that we explicitly made a line item in their work order. It took over 6 weeks of phone calls and the threat of litigation via certified mail to get them to pull the permit. We have finally passed inspection but I absolutely do not recommend you hire this company for a gas range installation in Minneapolis.
