At the top of Thanksgiving week we developed a significant outflow problem and we were also just about to go out of town. Ford's Plumbing and Heating showed up on time on very short notice, and they took care of the issue with a professional approach. I called them through Yelp, otherwise I had no clue about the company. They explained options, video analysis, hydro shearing,  and options to their level of need and importance. They did what they said, and notified us in advance of any other surprises they found in the tubes. They wanted to make it work, and the level of trust never wavered. We came home to a house that worked, and felt comfortable with the tab. Ford's is all right by me.

I called on Thursday for a Friday appointment, they said they would call between 9am and 11am Friday. At 11am I called them to see where they were. I was told things were backed up. I said I would wait. At 11:44 I got a call from dispatch that the tech was on his way. At 12:28 I cancelled the appointment because I was too angry to have them in my house.

I should have read these reviews first. I know someone will come on to respond to this bad review, so let me tell you something: For the work I requested, I carved out 2.5 hours beginning at 11am. I thought that was generous. When the work hadn't even begun by 12:28, my day was ruined. And when I cancelled, I got a sheepish I'm sorry from your dispatcher. Wow.

I received a response from the NextGen management providing an explanation for the appearance of a shady operation.

What I would offer for consideration is why not provide that same option for inquiring potential customers?

If you can reach out to save your digital reputation, why not do the same thing (reach out) for a customer?

Simply provide your inbound telemarketing staff with an optional response in their script.
Those are good questions! Let me take your contact info and have someone reach out to you for an answer!

That personalized effort will gain more credibility than the attempt to get a new customer to pay for a price quote.

The fact that management reached out in response to my poor experience with the phone staff illustrates my point and, I feel, yielded an informative interaction.

Just my two cents worth.

Really poor communication on the attempt at contact. There was no answer and no VM on their phone during posted business hours. So I sent a yelp message and got a response message about an hour later giving a different phone no. I called that number, got a VM, left a message with my phone no. but never got a call back. I can't say anything about their service because their commutation was so poor. This can't be normal because they would be out of business but it's what happened to me last week.

Luigi is awesome.  He came right away to my place, fixed my toilet that has been a nightmare the past couple weeks and did it in a professional and timely manner.  Thanks Luigi!!

They are not reliable. I called and was told they would show up twice. When I called to check on the status they tried to charge me after hours rate. Lol. Are you kidding me, I called at noon no one ever showed up and now you're tell me I have to pay a higher rate.  really? too bad this happened because I did business with Stephens before and was happy. Not sure what happened the last 2 times.

NexGen got a senior technician out to me the next business day and even got me an earlier slot. Juan, the senior tech, was professional and instantly identified the issue, while giving me the possible solutions right then and there. No BS, no fiddling - just immediate answers and solutions. I'd definitely recommend - thank you guys.
