Best Water Heater Installation in Long Beach CA
They showed up on time and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend using them on any plumbing thing you need.

The quick and fast, Ixtapa Construction is the best general contracting company I've had the pleasure to work with (I've worked with 3-4 over the last decade). I completely gutted a 4 bedroom, 2..5 bath, 2100 sq. ft. home we just purchased and Jay did it while handling timing pressure from my then 7-month-pregnant wife who was hesitant to even make the purchase, knowing the work it needed.
As the founder/President, Jay is a consummate professional (a rarity in this business), and a true craftsman. His Partner, Alex is also great to work with and keeps things organized and coordinated with all the moving pieces of a construction project. Most important to me is that Jay and his team takes pride and ownership in their work. Jay treated our construction project as if it was his own home. He takes the time to make sure things are done right, the first time. Moving forward, I'll always reach out to Jay first about my remodeling and home improvement needs before going out and interviewing/reviewing other contractors. Through my remodel, I'm fortunate enough to connect with someone who I've gotten to know and trust as my advisor for home remodeling and repair-related needs.
The longer version: We closed on our home in January of this year (2019). We knew we were going to completely gut and remodel the home. We didn't change the exterior (no additions) but all things interior of the home were to be redone. From all new water pipes to new electrical, new HVAC system, new 2.5 bathrooms and a new kitchen from the ground up including new flooring throughout.
This is our 2nd remodel of homes we are to live in, so it wasn't a completely new venture for us. The first remodel, I worked directly with a few tradesmen and oversaw/project managed the job myself. But this time around, with a newborn on the way and a 3 year old, I didn't have the time so we had to find a good GC that was fair, reasonable and accountable to work with. In total, we met about a dozen General Contractors (local via Yelp, Craigslist, HomeAdvisors, Houzz, you name it).
I first spoke with Alex by phone and then met with Jay at the house. Needless to say, he was on-time and professional. When we were ready to make a decision, we narrowed it down to Ixtapa and another construction company. I regretfully admit, we went with the other company first. The reason was that the initial bid was missing a few elements. I wish I had just went back and asked him to revise before making a decision. Truthfully, in my conversations with Jay, I had a good feeling. But we all make mistakes... The other company turned out to be a massive disaster (if you want more info, please reach out to me).
My initial timeline was the beginning of March for the home to be move-in ready. We started work on January 6th. By February 6th the house was all gutted, but nothing was being put back together. We started to get concerned as we were about 22 days out from when the house needed to be move-in ready. I got the typical contractor runaround and because I needed to be swift, I terminated the agreement. I had very low tolerance for a bad situation to get worse.
But since our initial meeting last December (2018) Jay stayed in touch with me and he actually followed with me to see how things were going.
I reached back out to Jay (at this point, under immense timing pressure) to see if he can help. He was able to get me on the calendar and get started in a week.
Ever since then, the house came together. And while I made changes to things and added things, he was very accommodating and did what he could to help us out.
Again, incredibly grateful to have met Jay and work with Ixtapa Construction. No job is too small for them, he's an honest craftsman that has a construction-framing background (so he can build a house from scratch if needed!) If he can't do something, he'll tell you. But overall, I'm incredibly happy with his service, professionalism and is the type of person you feel comfortable having around your family (which is also very important). And his team of craftsmen are great to work with too.
His pricing is fair, but through my own experience, you get what you pay for in this industry. Often times, you get low bids so they can come in and start the work, only to not finish or worse, cause damages. Talk to Alex/Jay, they'll work with you.
I will update this review with photos shortly.

I had to install a new washer but the hot watervalve was broken. They were the first one to respond when I requested a quote on Yelp. They came the same day, unfortunately couldn't do it on the same day because of the valve type, but they were able to come the next day and got it fixed. They were professional, informative and very reasonably priced. I plan to ask them for any plumbing work I may need in the future.

When our furnace unexpectedly quit, the Matucci website came up during my search for top rated HVAC and Plumbing companies. Rick came to the rescue. He quickly reset the fan and narrowed down the problem to be an overheated switch. It was remedied with a cleaning of the filter and we only paid for the visit base charge - very reasonable. Rick was willing to go over options to warm up my 90 year old father's room and did not mind walking through the home to check out the registers with Papa's supervision. Thanks, Rick for making the experience painless and always a warm welcome with the heater furnace working well now.
Follow up: the trick to fixing the faulty valve kept us going until the part could be purchased - the worst time for the heater to go out is during the winter holidays. Parts stores are closed and it is cold inside and out! Morgan came and got Rick on the phone to do a quick fix. Then Mike came to diagnose the ongoing problem. Finally, the part and the fix was complete. Thanks again, Mattucci - what a great team!

We had a broken main valve switch off, causing very little water flow into the house. JetLine plumbing was able to come right away and gave us a great price. They were able to do a quote by just sending a picture. Work is guaranteed for a year l.

I found him on yelp when the first rain of the year caused our heating
system to act up.they gave a time estimate when they would come got here on time with a phone call to tell us he was here. Rick found the problem and fixed it in less the an hour. then went on to check for a leak we had that raised our water bill. A good experience in all a new all purpose contact for home needs

I contacted Jesse at Saturday evening on call and he came Sunday early morning on time!
I sent him pictures for estimate and it was reasonable fee. ( it was Toilet tank valve problem, no fill water. And no space to back side of toilet. Need to move toilet first before fix.) - He explained how to fix the toilet problem on the phone.
Anyway, He was very professional, friendly,
on time, quick job and reasonable fee.
I'm recommending Jesse.

Graham plumbing is affordable, reliable, and customer service oriented. We had a backed up shower drain. Called for service first thing in the morning and with a few hours they were at our house taking care of the problem. The best plumbing business in SoCal.

John and Mike came out to my house to install a new valve. They installed a new smart valve that tells me the water usage, pressure and temperature. They were prompt and very helpful. I also had a leak in my plumbing and the spent time trying to figure out where the leak was coming from. Best plumbing service I've ever had!

We called Harry's Rooter today after a main line clog and subsequent flood of our bathrooms (ewwww) . They came out promptly. Cleaned the roots out of the drain. Reasonably priced, efficient and polite. Did not try to sell us additional services.
Could not have asked for better service.
Good job guys.!

I had a major water piping problem. My house is old so the piping is old too.
The pipe for the water going out of the house was eroded. This caused my kitchen sink to back up constantly. Robert ran a camera and discovered the problem. Plus I had previous work done on the sewer which was not done properly. Robert had to explain to me step by step the work which had to be done. Needless to say I was having a meltdown. It was a major repair. They had to jack hammer 75ft of concrete to place the pipe. Then come back to pour new concrete. It took about 4 days to complete the work. All during that time the bathroom was up and running. One day only was I not able to use the kitchen sink. My experience was all good working with Robert and his staff. I appreciate working with a company that knows what they are doing.

Kody did a clean job on my water softener install. He was communicative and punctual. Great Service!

Outstanding customer service! We recently called in another HVAC company (ACE Mechanical) to inspect and clear out our primary condensation line and they supposedly addressed the issue. However the issue was never fixed as we noticed condensation continuing to pour out of our second line. On top of that the techs were a bit arrogant and did a half ass assessment. Out of frustration we called NexGen and thankfully they were able to save the day. Eddie R. from NexGen is a class act - very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to come in to reassess and truly fix the issue. NexGen has earned our business for life.

my kitchen sink was clogged up and not draining. i called gorsuch and got an appointment the next day for between 1100 to 1pm. my technician was daniel c., he arrived at about 11. he wore a mask and was so professional and knowledgeable. he got right to work and snaked the drain. he also made sure that everything was tightened up and not leaking. was i pleased? heck yeah. would i call gorsuch plumbing again? oh yes. i would also like daniel c to fix any of my plumbing or heating. i also was charged fairly. as a woman i apprieciate that as some do try to overcharge. i hope that this reveiw gets them more business because they are worth it.
