Patrick gave me the impression that he would be the one installing my water heater. I found out later that he did not do the installation. Anyway, I had a aluminum water heater housing with small openings at the top around the piping and exhaust vent pipe.. Apparently, tha new model water heaters do not have legs to keep these heaters from direct contact with ground and the water collectiion pan. The new water sits directly into the water collection pan. Patrjick's assistant did not drill a drainage hole in this pan. This pan would fill with water and extinguish the pilot. In went without hot water about 5 times. On one occasion I attempted to re light the pilot and the water heater start rumbling and shaking. I thought it was going to explode. I thought the water heater was defective. Finally I called Patrick. He stated to me that the heater is wet before even looking at the water heater. So he knew and thought he would get service call money. His guy came out and drilled several holes in the water collection pan and re lit the pilot. This should have been during the installation. I will never patronize this company again. I paid $1500.00 and deserved better service.

When it comes to tradespeople it does not get better than Patrick. Professional, honest, and high quality work. During the inspection phase of a home I purchased it was discovered that there were a few root balls and some obstructions in my mainline. I hired Patrick to install a clean out and hydro jet the mainline. After the job was complete he showed me the mainline on the camera and it looked like a clean new pipe. After they cleaned up, it looked like they had never even been there, save for a barely noticeable access plate in my flower bed. I highly recommend Fitzgerald Plumbing for any of your plumbing repair needs and I will certainly be calling on them again for other projects in the future.

Im remodeling my bathroom and turning it into a master suit. That means I had to rearrange my shower, toilet and faucets. Fitzgerald plumbing came over took some measurements and had everything ready for installation the very next day. Service was great and the quote was half as much as another contractor. I had a leak from the hose line near the front porch of my house. I went on Nexrdoor for Lakewood area. I found a Fitzgerald was in my neighborhood and had good reviews. He was able to come out the next day and repair the line that was leaking and also suggested replacing the line from the water main as it was the original and 68 years old. The repairs were done in one afternoon and I have had no other issues! Highly recommend them.

We have only one bathroom and our toilet started whistling and seriously, in my 77 years, I had never experienced a whistling toilet! I did Google it and evidently it's not unusual! So I called Fitzgerald Plumbing yesterday at about 4:45 pm and they came out this morning at 8:30 am. Bud was great and even though he didn't have the parts that were needed, he went to get them, came promptly back and fixed it!

I called 6 different plumbers in the area with no answer or call back (many who claimed to be 24 hours). I was delighted to finally get in contact with Patrick who answered my call. He communicated frequently and often. Once he arrived he assessed the situation with my problem and provided a detailed explanation of the work he would need to do. Initially it appeared the fix was going to be more expensive than he thought however well after we spoke he continued searching the house for the exit drain. By finding it the cost of the work was now going to be less.

Friendly, honest and detailed is how I would describe my experience. And even better I didn't feel he gauged me with the cost to fix my plumbing problem. I would recommend and definitely plan on calling on him again.

Beware!! This is my experience. Made an appointment well in advanced. Live in a condo so i had to make the proper arrangements. Texts me he's running early if this is ok to push our appointment up. Sure no problem not 10 mins later calls that he got an emergency call from a recently widowed woman, who's house is flooding. Im a compassionate person but this reeks of b.s.. Hey patrick if u don't want the job say so. Don't make me miss work , jump thru hoops with the association, and have a house full of guest with one shower. I counted on you to keep your appointment and didnt even hagle on pricing with u.I should have been skeptical of only four reviews but i like to support small businesses .i do not recommend this plumbing servicer. Try being honest with your clients.

If I could give Patrick from Fitzgerald Plumbing a 10 star rating, I would! He went above and beyond for us. We hired him to install a waterline from our water heater to our new refrigerator. While he was here for the install he also helped us tape up some ducting on our heater, and offered to help us light the pilot on our water heater. He did all of that for no additional charge! When he couldn't get the pilot to light (after trying for a good 15 minutes), we hired him to fix the broken part. He overnighted the part and booked an after hours appointment (again, at no additional charge) for the next day since he was already fully booked. If that isn't A+ customer service, I don't know what is! In addition, he had a very positive attitude which was very calming in a stressful situation. I can't say enough great things!

I called Patrick and told him I believe my water heater needs to replaced because the ceiling was leaking. He came out and replaced it right away. He also gave me a quote on my toilet and they replaced that as well. I will definitely give them a call again if I have any other plumbing needs.

After trying 2 other plumbers over the years, Fitzgerald is the one I am keeping. Great service, quick response and reasonable prices. My first experience with Fitzgerald was to have them fix a toilet that another plumber messed up. It was fixed in minutes by the knowledgeable plumber who knew exactly how to do a permanent fix! I just had them over here to do a tune up on my hot water heater.... The plumber that put it in was not as professional as I expected so I called Fitzgerald. I relied on the Yelp reviews to hire this company, and I met the man they all rave about in those reviews. Patrick is indeed quite the professional. He's a competent plumber who is totally customer oriented. He had my new water heater installed in a couple of hours while he also went to three parts houses to find a larger enclosure because of an odd pipe that was in the configuration. (not typically found in a Lakewood house)

He was prompt, considerate, and courteous while educating me on the benefits of copper piping. He and his very competent helper, Warren, even took the time to talk to our 4 year old neighbor who was fascinated by the workers installing a big water heater. I was so impressed by both of them that I hired them on the spot to come back in a couple of days to replace some pipes and check the condition of my Floor Heater.

They hauled away the old Water Heater and shed, and his prices are very competitive with those in the area. It was my pleasure to meet such two genuinely nice guys who value their customer's and are motivated to do the job to the customers complete satisfaction. All in all, it was a great experience.

My water heater burst and flooded the service porch, bathroom, and kitchen. My insurance company said they will not pay for the heater, only the damages cause by the water. I called Pat and he came by the same day to give me an estimate. I called 2 other companies and Pat's bid was the most competitive. I wanted to move the water heater from inside in the service porch to outside by my water softener and filtration system. Pat tried to save me $1000 by installing the new tank in place instead of moving it but I was adamant about moving it outside. He noted that insurance isn't going to cover a lot of my damages so I should save money. I think most plumbers would try to get the most money by doing a larger job but Pat is genuinely concerned about his clients. For $2600 Pat installed a new 40 gallon water heater with a 10 year warranty out side, new copper water, new gas lines from the meter on the other side of the house, an enclosure with proper venting past my roof line, removed and took away the old water heater, and capped the old lines. He installed 3/4 gas lines in case I want to go tankless in the futue. He started at 9 am and was done by 5 pm. I am so relieved to have water again! Pat made this stressful process much easier. He's so personable and knowledgeable. I'm not an expert, but the craftsmanship looks good to me!

Had a terrible experience. They came out to replace a sink faucet and it was leaking the moment he left. Called Patrick and he said they're busy rest of the day and will come back the next day. So I had to hear a leak all night until they came back. Finally came and fixed it. Other than that, very messy and unprofessional. Just parked on my driveway which is shared with my neighbor and blocked us both in without asking to park there. Why would you block a shared driveway when there is plenty of street parking right in the front? Had to ask him to move it. I think he was upset when he left because he dumped a bunch of trash on the street when he was leaving. Never using again.

Fitzgerald plumbing has and continues to be wonderful to work with! We've had them out a couple times. They've installed a whole house pressure relief valve, temperature and pressure relief valve for our tankless water heater and have relocated hose bibs when we were restuccoing our house. We've had to have them back to fix plumbing work non related to there workmanship and have resolved all of our plumbing issues! They are timely, professional, quick and clean in all aspects of the job. I would highly recommend them.

They were able to fix a leak in my toilet on the same day I I called. Rather than replacing the toilet, he was able to replace the bolts to make the leak stop. That saved me a lot of money. The technician was professional, courteous, and I would call them again.

Like A Diamond in the Rough! From dispatcher Valerie O. to plumber Christopher Martin and his associate, these folks are as courteous and professional as you could ever ask for, and they know the plumbing business very well. I live away from the house and was in town to fix up a home to sell it. Christopher showed up at the time promised and converted the leaking brass plumbing underneath the bathroom sink from brass to PVC, solving my problem in less than an hour. This was my first time using Fitzgerald plumbing and I highly recommend them to people with plumbing problems.

Sent a message overnight on a Friday because our hot water heater stopped working, and Patrick responded first thing Saturday morning with his availability and with questions on what needed to be done. Before he came out he asked via text for various pictures that would help him ensure he had all the right tools and potential parts when he came out, which i had not experienced with other contractors before and which i thought was a really smart way to save time and be more efficient, which i loved.

Patrick came out on Sunday and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I asked him about working on weekends, and he mentioned that he doesn't mind because with some of the issues even things that aren't serious emergencies (like our not having hot water) can feel like it under certain circumstances, like if you have elderly residents or babies in the house. Little did he know that we do have a baby, and that's one of the reasons why we wanted to get our water heater fixed ASAP. Patrick was professional, friendly, and super cool and I highly recommend him and this company.

The pilot light in our 66-yr-old floor furnace kept was flickering. I found Fitzgerald Plumbing in our neighborhood website, and they were highly recommended. Smiling Leo rebuilt our floor furnace thermopile unit, which was like 66 years old. Then he placed a thermostat in the hall. Works like a charm! I never thought it would be possible, on such an old unit. I tried getting under the house to clean the furnace pilot and parts, but got a serious cramp in my thigh. Too old anymore, I guess.

Patrick was very helpful and quick in responding. Our hot water heater was out and we spoke with him on a Friday evening. He said he'd be out the next day Sat. between 10 and 12. He actually was out 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Repaired our hot water heater. He was polite and friendly, also informative. He noticed a pipe that wasn't attached completely and brought that to our attention and was able to repair that also. We called for an emergency service on the weekend and since the technician could not figure out how to open the water cage, which is actually the wrong area to shut the main off, he left our property with no message or text to let us know. When I texted back (a couple of times) the contact Patrick to ask if they would return the next week to fix this leak for us, there was NO RESPONSE or REPLY. How do you leave a potential consistent client hanging with an emergency leak? We chose this business to support local business and had to contact another plumber from another city to help us in Lakewood. Disappointing. Customer service retains good customers. Read that again.

This is the third time I've used Fitzgerald Plumbing. I've arranged the job details with Patrick and worked with one of his technicians Leo. I have always received a job quote prior to any work starting. They have been great, Leo found an issue with my water softener draining to the ground underneath my house and installed the correct P-trap and attached it to my main drainage, this stopped my stucco from crumbling in that area. In a recent job, Leo came out to a rental house of mine and promptly changed out the water heater the same morning the tenant reported the problem, and this was on a Friday!!

It's good to know you can count on a business to be consistently good. It's a bonus when the business owner and staff treat your emergencies as seriously as you do and help make the stressful and often quite extensive repair process go smoothly as possible. Once again, Patrick and his crew came to the rescue and spent two full days rerouting all of my remaining pipes a previous plumber hadn't done that might have prevented the current water damage I experienced. Our hot water went out in the shower. Contacted this company and had an immediate response. They sent Ralph to my place within the hour. The problem was quickly identified. The item that needed to be replaced was no longer being made. Ralph took the time to find a replacement part so we didn't need to get an entire 1200 dollar job done. he set an appointment right away- advising me and helping me choose the right gas fireplace insert for our fireplace... he installed it and did an inspection that left us very satisfied and confident we had a wonderful plumber for as long as we live in the area!

Don't bother. Especially if you are a woman, I think I was given the special price. Was lied to in the first 2 minutes of talking to the guy getting an estimate. Got an estimate for $500 less, including having permits pulled, which he wasn't going to do.

Well, the thermo coupler went out and I fixed it myself... That only lasted 1 day. So, I called Patrick because the lady needed her hot water and has no faith in me as a handyman.
Patrick came out that day and did a knock-out job.
When there's gas involved I like having a professional take care of it.
The hot water is rocking now and I'm ready for my first shower in 3 days. :D

I called Patrick to do several plumbing issues on our new house. We had 3 shower valves that weren't working properly, and a main/irrigation valve that wasn't to code. Patrick promptly came out and gave me a free estimate, then went to work on the showers. He was professional, friendly, and very conscientious. The plumbing in our house is very sloppy and often not to code, but Patrick suggested the most cost-effective ways to get everything as close to properly done as possible without re-plumbing the whole house.

When he came back to do the outdoor work, I had broken another pipe because of my attempts to unscrew a tap. It was an embarrassing DIY mistake, but Patrick didn't patronize me or attempt to gouge me on the work to repair it. Instead he pointed out how the pipe I'd broken wasn't to code and reassured me that it wasn't my fault (even though it was stupid on my part!) He also went out of his way to repair the pipe in the cheapest and least destructive way possible.

If you ever need a plumber DON'T CALL THIS PLACE THEY WILL REAP YOU OFF they give me a quote to replace a faucet and a p trap I already had bought p trap and faucet just for labor 340.00 I said thanks but no thanks I found someone way better he charge 140.00 I am a woman but that's doesn't mean a stupid one .

I found Fitzgerald Plumbing on the local Nextdoor app and am so glad I did!! Had a main sewer that needed cleaning out and Patrick came by after 5 o'clock, which most probably wouldn't do, and did a terrific job! Best plumber I've ever had come out and help me. We had a pipe outside burst last night. Called this morning (Sunday). Said he could be here between 1 & 1:30. I sent him some pictures via text. Told me how much and we agreed. Showed up just after 1, started working on it. Turned out to be worse than we thought. Had to dig out to the feed from the street. Charged me $50 more than originally. He did awesome work, didn't charge me for being a Sunday, and was priced better than any plumber I have used in the past. I would never use another plumber again.

We called Fitzgerald's Plumbing after another local plumber came out, looked around, and decided not to help us with our stopped kitchen drain. Huh?????

We called Fitzgerald's and Patrick came out the next day even before the appointment time. I found him waiting in front of the house.

Apparently this was a more complicated drain issue since the plumbing is older. He worked at it until it was completely fixed. He also made a modification in the pipes under the sink so the next stoppage would be a cinch to fix. Niiiiiiice. Patrick is polite and very friendly, and he left our plumbing in a better condition than he found it.

It looks like we have a new plumber!!! Thank you, Patrick!!

This review is a few weeks late, but the benefit of that is I can say the work he did was excellent and actually fixed the problem! We had a sewage leak with awful smells (obviously) and we needed somebody to come out quickly. I checked the Nextdoor app and my neighbors all had positive things to say about Fitzgerald Plumbing. I called and he answered immediately and agreed to come out the next morning. Very pleasant and professional. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the charge for the service was fair and surprisingly not as much as we thought it was going to be. We also asked for a quote for a full repipe and will definitely go with this company once we have the money to move forward with that. Thank you Fitzgerald Plumbing! We will definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a plumber!

I called the owner Patrick urgently last Monday and he had no hesitation getting someone to come fix my shower leak the very next day. Bud showed up and not only was he efficient but he was very knowledgeable and let me know what exactly was going on and which pipe it was that was leaking. Patrick the owner then had another company come out the same day to check for water damage and mold. I had the leak fixed, water damage dried out and repairs estimated within the week. We had an issue with our water heater back in December. Patrick got back to us right away and came over to assess the situation. He gave us all our options, but we decided it would be best to replace since our old water heater was at least 7-8 years old.

Patrick came back the next day and did a complete upgrade and install. It is amazing the difference a new hot water heater makes. We can now take a shower and not have the hot water run out. We should have made the switch a long time ago.

I highly recommend Fitzgerald plumbing. Very professional and easy to work with. I will call them for any future needs.

Our water heater went out on Easter Sunday. We had seen great feedback on the Next Door app for Patrick, so I called Sunday evening to leave a message for Monday morning. He answered the phone on a holiday Sunday! He was here Monday afternoon, had to order parts and was back Tuesday to finish repair. He is extremely courteous and friendly. I had an ancient flange for my toilet that needed to be replaced & I had tried another plumber who wanted to tear up the floor & the slab and spend 2 to 3 days doing it for $4200. My neighbors had used Fitzgerald Plumbing so I gave them a try. What a difference! They did the necessary work (no floor ripping needed) plus changed the toilet (at my request) to a really nice one. All in under 2 hours and at a great price~ They were courteous pleasant and they even cleaned up. No minimum charge just to come out and there was no upselling either. They were clearly very knowledgeable and I wish I'd found them sooner!

Called to have a drain stoppage fixed and they wanted to charge me between $900 to $1900. I had the same repair done for less then $250 by Quality Plumbing, who wasn't available. Mike Diamond and Drain Right want less then $100 buck. This would be less then a two hour job if that, so they will not be getting my business anytime soon.

This outfit looked highly rated, so I was surprised when they showed almost no interest in helping us with our toilet leak. We were told the parts had to be ordered (even though I could have bought them at Home Depot). After waiting two weeks, I contacted them, and after being told the parts were expected the next day, the technician had to take the old parts to a supply store to find them (so they apparently were not ordered.) To sum it up, the wrong parts were installed (don't even fit the toilet) and the fill valve immediately began leaking. I've had no answer to my email to discuss the issue, although they had no problem cashing our check. Communication is terrible. I will chalk this one up to experience.

You wanna get ripped off just like those undercover investigations on the news , call these plumbers . The man came out peeked under my sink didn't even get down and look and says yup it's going to be $185.. and he himself gave up before we could even tell him his services will not be needed . I guess he didn't know how to turn water off or didn't know how to do the job or didn't feel like working today not sure but he left lol . Got my son to come over and unscrew and change valve off of YouTube !!!! Nothing was stripped . Save me my breath and money . Don't get ripped off .

Sorry to have to write this review but, after using Patrick (the owner) for several previous jobs and even referring him to friends and family members, we did not have a good experience this time around. I have always thought Patrick was on the higher side price-wise but was okay with it since he seemed to be responsive and got the job done. In addition, he was supporting his young family so we were happy to help them out. However, this time he sent out another technician who messily ripped a whole in the garage ceiling in order to diagnose the leak from the toilet in the bathroom above. once the issue was determined (old flange and wax ring needed to be replaced) he ran over to Home Depot to buy the approximately $20-$30 in parts. Once back, he quickly made the repair and then handed me the outrageous bill for $850. Keep in mind he was only here for 2 hours and 20 minutes (including the trip to Home Depot) so I was being charged $400 an hour for labor. In addition, they state upfront that a quote will be given before the work is performed, however, I did not receive the pricing until the very end. When I questioned Patrick about this and the pricing he said he was sorry for the oversight but that they charge by the job and not by the hour. After some back and forth via text he would not make any adjustments to the pricing and finally just stopped replying at all. And the kicker is that I still had to pay someone to come out and repair the drywall so that added even more cost to the job. Very disappointed in the way I was treated as a past loyal customer. Buyer beware...

We had a very good experience with Fitzgerald Plumbing with a leak problem at our rental property. Christopher Martin promptly scheduled the service appointment with our tenant, arrived on as scheduled, then completed the repairs after consulting with us about the repairs needed and explaining the costs. Mr. Martin was thorough, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. After completing the bathroom leak repair, the tenant said there was a leak under the kitchen sink which Mr. Martin checked and quickly repaired at no charge because he said it was very minor. Fitzgerald Plumbing provided excellent customer service.

My mom has been a regular client of this plumbing company, so when I got my own place, I was happy to use their services. Recently, I had a toilet that started acting up. Bud came out and fixed it for me. Last night was the first night I slept soundly without hearing the toilet make a whooshing sound in the middle of the night. If you need a trustworthy plumber, I would definitely try their services! After fixing the toilet, Bud showed me all the new parts so I could see his work. I am a senior citizen and at this stage of my life, I don't hold back my opinions, particularly the truth. Young Mr. Patrick Fitzgerald arrived at my home on time. When I laid my eyes on him I thought, Oh, oh!...a youngster. Here we go Lord!.

Patrick addressed me with respect. He completed the job and the youngster showed his skills! I had no choice but to shut my mouth because I was absolutely amazed and believe me, it takes a lot for me to keep quiet when I suspect a person to be a handyman rather than a plumber.

Folks out there, you have no idea how long I have been looking for a plumber who is honest, skilled, polite and did not look at me and think, Oh...she is old! I can con the heck out of her and name my own price. No...young Patrick did the opposite. So, I got on the phone and informed my elderly friends about young Patrick and his trustworthiness.

I found Fitzgerald Plumbing here on Yelp after getting a quote that seemed way too high for what we were told was needed (sewage line replacement), and we wanted someone else's eyes on this to have another bid. Patrick responded within hours, came out the next day, and was able to fix our issue without going through the same work as was quoted by the other company. His price was more than fair, and we received great service.
Since that visit, our water heater went out on us (RIP after 12 years!), and of course I contacted Patrick right away based on our prior experience. He got back to me super fast, was at the house when he said he would be, and his guy came out to replace the water heater within a couple of hours. All done!
Based on service alone, you should work with Fitzgerald Plumbing, and the fair pricing is just a bonus!

Thank you yelpers for steering me toward this company. We had a bunch of little problems that were causing a huge headache (water hammer, issues with our hot water coming out of our cold line and through the water sprinklers and a water heater that was out of code). I had originally called out another plumber to see if he could fix/diagnose the problems and he could not. I had a water heater specialist come out to fix the hot water issue and he could not fix it. I finally found Fitzgerald Plumbing and gave Patrick a shot. I liked that he was local and the other reviews were promising.

Patrick came out on a Monday and patiently listened to me as I gave him the history of problems. He came up with a plan to fix each issue and made an appointment for later in the same week. He also identified a pipe that had corroded and was about to fail.

When Patrick showed up, he explained how he was going to fix each problem and gave me a price for the job. Then he got right to work and by the end of the day the water hammer was gone, the hot water was working normally, my water heater issue was fixed and he had replaced the rotted pipe. Patrick was professional, polite and took the time to explain each issue to me in terms I could understand. He cleaned the areas up where he had been working and made sure all my questions were answered before he left. His rates were reasonable and he warrantied all the work he performed.

I can't over sell how impressed I was with this company. Finding a good plumber is like finding a good car mechanic and Fitzgerald Plumbing was a great, local find for anyone in the Long Beach/Lakewood area! I will be using this company for any future plumbing needs and I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

I'm very glad I came across Fitzgerald Plumbing when searching for a local plumber. We've had issues with the water temp going out to our backyard and the garage, and haven't been able to figure it out. Finally, we did some additional research and called Fitzgerald Plumbing.

They were very helpful on the phone and scheduled someone to come take a look within a few days (I mentioned this was not an emergency, so it did not need to be right away). Ralph showed up early and went right to work, investigating the problem. It didn't take long before he found the issue, which was much less of a problem than both of us initially thought! Ralph was able to explain what was going on and quickly fix the issue. He found another, unrelated problem that could use fixing and gave us an estimate, for which we are going to schedule him to come back on another day and fix.

Overall, great experience with Fitzgerald Plumbing and Ralph. I would definitely reach out to them if you have any plumbing issues. They were quick, friendly, knowledgable, and able to solve a problem that other people were unable to.

Patrick is awesome! My main sewer drain was clogged. He came out and put a camera down the pipe to see what the problem was. A section of pipe needed to be replaced. Him and his team finished the job quickly and smoothly. I also had some issues with my other drains. He took care of everything. Solid, honest guy. And they do great work!

There are other small business plumbers out there, I would recommend you pass on Fitzgerald.

In summary - I now have a damaged sink that is set in broken tile that took hours of post cleanup by my entire family. I do not believe it is reasonable to expect a customer to accept.

I had a kitchen sink installed. I chose Fitzgerald Plumbing because I wanted to support small business in Lakewood and ratings were phenomenal. On a positive note, the technician was able to install the sink within the same day as my request and the pricing was reasonable.

What Needs Improvement:

Damage to surrounding tile - A premium was included in my estimate because i have a tile countertop and I was informed it would take additional time to cautiously remove and install the sink. Nonetheless, I have tiles broken around the sink.

Damage to Brand New Sink - During install, caulking dried on visible top areas of my new stainless steel sink and Fitzgerald plumbing significantly scratched the sink removing it with a steel pad. The scratching is unnatural and highly visible.

Cleanup - during removal of the existing porcelain sink, Fitzgerald plumbing used a reciprocating saw, sending fine dust particles throughout my kitchen and parts of my living room. The dust was so bad one of the two Fitzgerald plumbing techs had to leave the room to get air. I was in the backyard and when I heard the saw and looked in from the back porch, I was surprised at the amount of dust emanating and was appalled that they would do this without prepping for the layer of dust that would take me and my family HOURS to remove post installation.

Communication/Customer Service - Post installation I reached out to Patrick (I believe is owner) to discuss my concerns with the installation. Over the course of two weeks, I left messages with office personnel requesting a call back that never came.

It was never my intent to leave a poor rating and review. However, considering Fitzgerald plumbing did not return my calls, I felt there was no other way to express myself and have closure for this unfortunate experience.

My wife and I recently had to get our sewer lines and main water service replaced. It all started with an old rusty galvanized steel bathroom downpipe that had closed because of age and corrosion. They scoped our system and found numerous trouble spots. The main sewer to the street was also in bad shape, with 3 level changes from the house to the parkway.

Leo, Jesse, and their team knocked it out in one day. New sewer and PVC on all drains and sewer. They were informative throughout the whole process.

Leo also did our main water service. Our pipes were so corroded from the meter to the house that they were falling apart. Leo finished in about 4 hours, which included digging out the old pipe.

Fitzgerald plumbing is reasonably priced. Their plumbers are professional and honest, and they are on time and work quickly.

Fitzgerald Plumbing answered my call right away after my tenant let me know there was a leak under the kitchen sink. Fitzgerald Plumbing gave me an appointment for the next day and even called and said they could come out earlier if I wanted because they finished their previous job early. I have no complaints with the quality of the repairs nor with Warren who did an excellent job. Also, I was not provided with an estimate, written or verbal, nor did I ask for one. As with any issue that upsets my daily routine, I was happy to have it fixed and fixed correctly.
Here's the issue: After I submitted payment to Warren, I received a text from Patrick asking for a review. I texted him back and requested a written invoice with a parts (material) and labor breakdown. Simple request, so I thought.
Patrick referred me to the Terms and Conditions on the invoice which said no parts and labor breakdown would be provided. I never received that information before or during the work. The invoice did provide a narrative which was a description of the problem and the steps taken to remedy the issue. Very well but I would have appreciated an idea of the labor costs and the parts breakdown. We had to purchase two different 'sets' to finally land on the one that worked. One was installed and Warren took the other set. I thought it was patronizing and uncomfortable having been referred to Terms and Conditions that I never agreed to.
