Ismael Valdez began his career in the HVAC industry at the age of 16 and now has over 15 years of experience working in the HVAC industry. Valdez has held every position from walkthroughs and estimates to managerial and executive operations. NexGen Project Manager Tommy Serrato came out to our housing complex and did a full inspection of our sump pump system in order to provide an accurate quote for an upgrade.  He was punctual, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable.  He demonstrated operation of the pumps and diagnosed some issues with our floats. He answered all my questions and recommended a solution that made sense.   We'll get the quote soon for HOA to review, but based on service, these guys are definitely at top of list.

The water heater wasn't functioning well. The water wasn't getting hot in the kitchen to wash the dishes. Larry Acuna scanned on the system to see what caused the water not to get hit. Larry had taken pictures from his tablet. He showed what the problem was. It was a lot of build-up.  Larry Acuna  had installed a new water heater and the pipe. Larry would communicate with us when he had to turn the water off.  Larry didn't make the area messy, and he wasn't loud. Larry was very friendly and polite.  Larry had checked the water pressure cause the water was flowing right from the facuet. Larry had to come back 05/10/2023 to finishen up. He had to install a new faucet in the kitchen cause the flow wasn't moving fast. Larry got the water flowing very well, and it is hot. Love it.

NexGen WILL rip you off. I used NexGen for two issues a water heater was not able to heat the appartment building and separately one shower unit was not getting any hot water. The NexGen tech Larry seemed pleasant and convinced me to spend $1800 to replace piping in the shower area and replace a pump on the water heater for $3500. After paying him the hot water was still not working. He called to tell me the only way to resolve the issue was to replace the entire hot water system at a cost of $16,000!!!!!  After two months and several calls to the company to send someone to repair the issue, they never returned to resolve the issues. I eventually paid another company who was able to resolve the issue immediately and for a tenth of the cost! DO NOT not trust NexGen!! They are con men.

Absolute scam! Daniel came 7 days ago to fix AC. Had cool air for a day. Charged $88. 7 days later AC completely out. Called for service and Derrick came out. Derrick proceeds to tell me we probably have a leak in the old system and would need Freon. That Freon isn't available anymore but it in reality it is (r410a). We would need leak detection and new piping.  Condenser wasn't working and we would be better off getting new unit to tune of $17,000!!!  But would have to meet with sales manager. Had another ac repairman come today. He replaced the Freon  (which he said was probably leaked by the first technician and Nexgen is notorious for these outrageous tactics to get customers to buy new units!) STAY CLEAR OF NEXGEN!!

And I can assure you, Bill, that is exactly how you operate!  Explain the $17 grand quote and the maintenance package offered for $2600. When I said it was too much, the quote dropped to half.  Derrick said he would put us down for 3 condensers instead of the 6 we have. Unethical business!!

Felipe was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, polite. Did a great job with the capacitor replacement. My AC stopped blowing cold air but after the replacement it feels better now. I'll update the review if it for some reason craps out again, but for now it's good. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is they were pricey. The cost of the capacitor is higher than what I've heard other places charge. But I'd recommend Felipe.

First time using this company to do a yearly service on my hvac equipment. Derrick came out and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did a great job of going though our system and making sure everything was in order. His guidance and walk through of what he did was good information to have on our house. My washing machine started backing up due to my lack of maintaining the house cleanout drain. I called NexGen and they were able to respond within an hour. Rigo was our Technician. He immediately went to work and diagnosed our problem. He cleaned out our sewer line and within minutes, we were up and running. Rigo was very professional and knowledgable. His time management skills were a plus. He is truly an asset to your company. I highly recommend them!

I am so grateful for NexGen HVAC and Plumbing and Michael who came out same day to service my heater.  When you do not have heat in your home during the winter, time is of the essence.  I am so glad, I called NexGen.  Not only did the technician come out same day but he was at my home within the hour and called me before coming.  Talk about great service.  Now, the problem is fixed, I have heat again, and I have signed up for the membership to have NexGen service my AC, Heater, and plumbing annually at a reasonable price.  I am totally satisfied with my service and will call them again the next time I have an issue.

NexGen came out and snaked my drain. Although it didn't resolve the issue, they didn't charge me for their time which makes me trust that they are an honest business.  I will be contacting them again for the next steps to my issue to move forward since Jesus was honest and informed me on his future recommendations.

Steer clear of these guys. They are dishonest and will lie to convince you to buy something you don't need.

I own rental properties and generally have a good team of vendors. I had a tenant call on a Friday evening of a 3 day holiday to light a pilot light.

Unfortunately our regular HVAC guy was on vacation and I reached out to Yelp to find someone who could safety check, clean dust off, and light pilot light on an old floor furnace ASAP. I was very specific on Yelp about the needed service, even giving the name of the furnace.  I received many responses, most were unavailable due to the holiday, but I did receive a reply from NexGen who said they had that exact service for $89.99 and could be there the next AM. I called and spoke to someone and gave exact instructions, and told them again, not to sell up, or frighten the tenant with scare tactic's to sell a new furnace (this isn't my first rodeo).

Just do the service.

NexGen arrived exactly on time and were escorted to the furnace. According to the tenant he didn't even get on his knees to look at it, but immediately proclaimed the furnace a danger!!! He said a new furnace was mandatory. The tenant called me immediately threatening lawsuits unless I bought a new furnace (guess that was NexGens play). I attempted to calm them and explained the furnace was fine and would be safe. I explained NexGen was lying to sell a furnace. They were not convinced. 2 days later my regular HVAC guy (licensed) arrived and performed the service, safety inspection, and got the the pilot light lit. He assured them it was perfectly safe and not to worry. Unfortunately the tenant had already begun moving out, and accused the plumber of lying to them on my behalf. They were out the next day, 6 months early on their lease.

I had then had SoCal gas come in and sign off on the unit. After inspection he said that this unit would last safely for many decades to come and 50% of the homes he looked at in the area had this exact furnace. It's a great reliable furnace and he added, ours was in great shape.

A salesperson from
NexGen called about 5-6 days later and eventually sent an invoice ($$$) for a new furnace. I told them what had happened and he was speechless (but not surprised?). Guess the whole point was to terrorize the tenant, who in turn would scream at me till I overspent on a new furnace.

Not sure if this tactic is illegal but it should be. This has cost me money and significant stress. I can only hope there is a special place in hell for those using these sales techniques.

At my business my AC stopped cooling.  I called and they got me an appointment the next morning.  Patrick was on time and very friendly he cleaned out the units and was quick and price was reasonable.  After a few days I noticed it was still having some issues.  Patrick came right out diagnosed the issue quickly sadly the parts did take a few days to arrive and that was a little hot to handle but we kept our cool until the day arrived to fix. Patrick was already on site and working before I even arrived and had it working quickly.  He was able to save me some money and yesterday some of my staff had to put on a sweater I had it so cool in there  but we ain't complaining it's lovely.  Thanks again Patrick for your work

Worst company ever, they are good at advertising and a sad sob video of owner telling his story, thats why we figured we give them a try . Well BEWARE and be WARNED. They are a joke and a RIP OFF! They couldn't get there shit together,  what a 2 day job was supposed to be ended up being a almost 3 month job, destroyed my ceiling and did a terrible job fixing it, if anything could go wrong it  did! Starting the first day! They have a terrible communication problem with there office and warehouse staff, so nothing gets done right, the owner had the oddasity to threaten me telling me he would take me to small claims court because all he cared about was getting paid his deposit,  but i refused to give him any money until the job was done and I received a contract wich i never received with correct information until well almost 3 months later . Im not one to do reviews unless its really bad! Just trying to save some people the headache, time and honestly money! $21 000 later and it doesn't work well . All talk no action!

Honestly some of the worst customer service you'll find. I've made appointments for serious and urgent needs and they don't show up prepared or even engaged with a desire to help. I've had them scheduled to do duct cleanings and filter replacements and they legit text us last minute saying a tech isn't gonna show up until 5 to do like a 2 hour job, and then make me reschedule (this has happened about 3 times).

Now it seems like they all know I'm not a big fan of theirs and I've been trying to get an appointment for a service on the calendar, and they take my info and never call me.

I have a 13 month old baby and my AC is a total mess, and the customer service with these people is just so terrible. Unfortunately I have their equipment so I guess I'm just stuck and totally screwed. Thanks for nothing NexGen Torrance and surrounding area

I called Nexgen for an estimate to replace a leaking Asbestos/Transite furnace flue.  They responded promptly and provided a competitive estimate which I approved.  When the contract was prepared though, I noticed they planned to use single wall pipe, and there were special instructions saying a new roof cap 'should be installed'.  When I asked, the estimator said the install team would decide whether it was necessary to replace the old (leaking) roof cap.  

The crew showed up late for their install window, and sat in their truck for another 40 minutes before approaching the house...then knocked on the door requesting to take a photo.  Shortly after, the Nexgen estimator called me, requesting an additional $600 above the contract amount, claiming the flue went through a soffit he hadn't noticed.  Having done some construction, I politely informed him that I was looking at the roof and the pipe did not go through a soffit.  But the estimator said he couldn't disagree with his people onsite.  I refused to pay and Nexgen left.      

Yesterday, I had the work done using another company, including proper disposal of the Transite pipe with an abatement company, and installation of a double-walled flue with new vent cap.  The repair confirmed the vent went straight through the roof - not through a soffit.  And the total cost was 40% less than Nexgen requested.

I purchase my AC/Heating unit 10 month ago.  I have received excellent customer service.  Bo came out twice to tweak the system. This company and Bo are great!   You will not be disappointed with their customer care / service.

I decided to reach out to this company because of the reviews and sadly, I could not be more disappointed.  I have left several VM's asking for a call back and it's been over a week.   I called, got connected and as I was asking a question, she stood silent, and I asked if she could hear me and she mumbled something and hung up!  What a joke.  I guess then don't want or need any new customers.  Don't bother.

Loved my service today fromReuben Ramos. He showed up with my safety in mind with his mask on and was very professional. He checked everything throughly. He located the problem and had my heating and air conditioning working again within 30 minutes. He is truly the Comfort Technician. Kefler King was an outstanding tech that provided a friendly and quality inspection. He explained what was going on with my old furnace and then explained my  options and had me speak with the manager to secure a fast date of replacement of my old furnace and how long it would take to install a new one. Very good price negotiated. I'll follow up after the install tomorrow.

We had the A/C stop working during the first hot day of the year. Not good! NexGen came out a couple of years ago and did a great job servicing the A/C unit and our hot water heater. Always professional, they didn't try to sell me anything. They only provided me the information in a detailed report. No pressure.

They came on Monday and looked over my HVAC system. Not good news. The unit I put in about 10 years ago was busted. It was going to cost me $7K with no guarantees that it would work. Then, they inspected the duct work. Even worse news.

The repairman called his supervisor who made it out, sat us down and gave us a run down of what needed to be done. Work started the next day and was wrapped up the following day.

The work was superior and will last me for the rest of my time in this house. Work is guaranteed. Glad that I called them.

Definitely a positive experience with Daniel and his HVAC install team. The crew was professional, hard working and answered all questions. Daniel was patient and went the extra mile to explain every part of the system and how it works. A register needed to be relocated in the bathroom and I need to give a shout out to Miguel for his drywall patching and texturing skills after the old location was removed. The team also used plastic and drop cloths which kept the area clean like they were never there. A big thumbs up to the entire crew, Daniel, Ricky, Miguel, Josh and Jacob.

Our new A/C unit was installed less than 6 mo ago by NexGen. It just broke and they are hanging up on callers right now. Do not hire them.

Update: I reported an electrical clicking sound 3d after the install. They came over, looked at the unit said it was fine. No UV meter, no tests, nothing. They said it'll make a bit of noise, but it's working fine.  The error we got from the Nest says the power wiring is failing to the HVAC unit. So obviously the clicking was not fine. I'm under warrantee and the best they could do was send somebody tomorrow, which then got pushed to the next day. I fixed it myself the same day that I called them after this incompetence. I realize it's peak season, hire more people, you're bloody rich NexGen, but I suspect not for much longer at this sad pace.

Bill: It's too late for that, wanna change my mind? Action. Expand staff, stop lying about quotes, appt times, and equipment status; raise standards for training, fix phone system, improve employee reward system by giving great employees promotion/bonus opps and let go of employees that clearly don't want to work there. And stop spamming me to spend more money on more services, when my current service is terrible.

I was charged $400+ after the technician reset my tankless water heater back in Nov. 2022 after it stopped running hot water.

3/28/23 update: I initially wrote a harsh review Zach, the owner, reached out and offered a partial refund. He was frank with me over the phone and I appreciated his effort to help make things right. At the end of the day, Next Gen was the only company that was able to fix the water heater that day and I was able to avoid replacing the entire unit.

Arthur came by to repair my Roman tub
Faucet which has not been used for over a year.
Every plumber that came out was unable to do so. He was up for the challenge. Obviously knowledgeable and efficient . Found the broken part replaced some worn hoses and I am back to

Really poor communication on the attempt at contact. There was no answer and no VM on their phone during posted business hours. So I sent a yelp message and got a response message about an hour later giving a different phone no. I called that number, got a VM, left a message with my phone no. but never got a call back. I can't say anything about their service because their commutation was so poor. This can't be normal because they would be out of business but it's what happened to me last week.

Got new A/C and heating from them last year and had a great overall experience. From recent warranty service, Carlos was very friendly and helpful. Resolved an issue we delayed servicing due to covid. Felt safe with him on the house, wore mask and socially distanced. This is my go to company for HVAC. Interested to try them for plumbing sometime in the future.

Ramon the plumber came by to check the hot water flow from my sink. It had never worked properly after my instant hot machine was installed.  Thankfully it was a quick fix and he just had to turn the valve so the hot water could flow through!  I guess my original installer (not from NexGen) hadn't turned it on after installing the hot water machine.  So relieved it was a quick fix (literally 2 min). Appreciate his honesty and promptness!  BTW I had signed up for the maintenance program which can sometimes feel gimmicky, but in this case pretty happy I did it because I didn't have to pay for this visit!  Thanks Ramon!

Our A/C unit stopped working, Jason came out right away and assessed the situation and gave us some options. He was very efficient and recommended the best option to save money and get the unit up and running quickly. I would love to leave this review in behalf of Nexgen Air&Heat of the great 5 star service they provide . Carlos came out to do our annually maintenance with all proper PPE equipped on our new install, he came out and addressed every thing on the system things I never knew were even there. Carlos addressed all of our small  problems and gave us the solution with the great knowledge of Bill .  not to mention I love indoor tropical plants they have now helped me out providing humidity into my house using my HVAC system as well with cleaning the air inside my home.
I would definitely continue to use Nexgen and refer to any homeowner . Great , honest , knowledgeable company.  Not to mention the great price.

Today Technician  C.F. came  back. , he came  before and installed the new motherboard for the heater furnace , today he came with solution to fix the warm air flowing out the vents  intermittently,  when the furnace system and the fan are in off position. Technician replaced a temperature sensor. Hope this will control the warm air flowing out of vents .
Customer Service and the Technicians always extends   their courtesy of service and displays professionalism. Which I appreciate.

These guys were the best! I had an upstairs toilet back up and they ran me through every procedure they could do for me before proceeding to any new issues (we had a few). Alfonso and Clemente were very knowledgeable and answered all (even the silly) questions I had. They helped me understand and solve our problems and keep my anxieties in check! NexGen was one of several companies I had come to my house. Each company was helpful and informative but none of them looked at the big picture for me. It was not until NexGen that their employee Mario explained pros and cons of replacing a heating system with full duct replacement. My set up was old and in bad shape and while the other companies did give similar prices and basic run downs, Mario explained short term and long term benefits that catered to my specific situation. They also gave me a great 18 month interest free payment option and were able to start on Monday after an appointment Friday evening. I appreciate the confidence and full scope breakdown. That's what I like in my projects give me all the good the bad the why and why nots. Let me make an assessment from there. Thank you and I look forward to my new Electric Heating and AC system!

Our AC system is 20+ years old and we are worried about the potential leaking since I saw a watermark up in the attic space. Adrian came and checked around all the equipment. He didn't immediately advocate for a complete replacement like we had experienced with other companies in the past. Instead, he just let us know the risk of keeping the existing system and explained different options to repair it, and fully leave the decision to us. If I'm going to repair or replace our system, I'll for sure go with NexGen HAVC & Plumbing.

Conner & Clemente came out to unclog the drain outside. Showed up on time, smelling good and eager to work and very professional. Troubleshoot our problem with a cool looking camera and finished up within 30 minutes. Great guys and great service at a good price. I highly recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

Had a mini-split go out on me after 2 years of working. Called Nexgen and I had the opportunity to get a technician the same but I was unavailable. A date was set for the next day and I was contacted by the company informing me of the techs ETA.

The tech arrived on time and greeted me in a very professional manner, introducing himself as Dustin from Nexgen.  

The whole experience was great. I was well informed of what the issue was and I'm definitely considering purchasing a new system from them.

Rigo came out to help with a problem with my water softener. Turns out that the plumber that installed it never turned the bypass switch on. Rigo was kind enough that he wasn't going to charge me for the service call, so I ended up having him bring my tankless water heater up to code (yet another thing that my plumber did incorrectly!). He was on time, courteous and a super nice guy. I'll be calling them out to do my maintenance. Very satisfied!

Our bathtub was not draining properly and we couldn't remove the stopper on the bathtub to clear the drain. They came in on time, they assessed the problem and fixed it before we knew it. They also gave us recommendations on how to not have this problem happen again. The whole process was very easy.

What a great experience!!!!

I've managed several rental properties for years and I rarely run into a heating issue, until now.  I had no idea who to call so I just started to look at online reviews that I'm not sure I can trust. NexGen had a lot of great things written about them so I thought I'd give them a try. I usually don't write reviews but with my experience today with NexGen was so great that I felt it was necessary.

I called NexGen yesterday for a non functioning heater and got an appointment right away for today. I received confirmations to verify my appointment yesterday and today.

Jesus called me to verify the appointment and was on time. He was kind, polite and very respectful of the property. Booties and drop cloths were used then he followed up with vacuuming. Jesus showed me the problem with the heater. He was able to fix the issue quickly. He contacted his Supervisor to review the issue. He did a final inspection of the vent on the roof and took pictures of everything. Within minutes I received my invoice with all of the pictures.  I feel the rate I paid was very fair for the service preformed.

I will definitely be calling NexGen for my future heating & plumbing problems.  Thank you Jesus and NexGen.

Vincent from NexGen came out to do a tune up and inspection on our heating and AC units today. He was friendly, professional, and was extremely knowledgeable. The best part was that he explained all of his findings in a simple, easy to understand manner. We purchased a home August 2022, in the middle of that horrible heat, the AC broke.  My husband contacted NextGen, god must of heard our prayers and sent us Ryan and Art.  The stress of moving into a new home, I felt so defeated.  These two guys, WOW, they went above and beyond.  I am sorry it took me so much time to put something out here but, they understood our situation.  They understood our urgency.  If anyone has the pleasure of meeting these two gentlemen, know you are in the best of hands.  

We have a new AC system, we loved all the customer service provided and still till this day I get calls asking how we are going.  Ryan and Art, thank you for your kindness and for the support you provided my husband as a 13 year veteran.

NexGen was amazing to work with.  They came and gave a quote for many different options for varying budgets.  Their customer service was great. They worked through different financing options and helping us with one that worked best for us. Very patient and responsive.  Installation was a breeze. Took about two days,  but they had to deal with a tough artic space situation and a really long electrical run. They were professional,  covering stairs and hallways while they worked and kept a clean, neat work area outside. They even had to demo a concrete pad that was in the space I wanted the unit to go but was too small for the unit.  Would highly recommend.

Outstanding customer service! We recently called in another HVAC company (ACE Mechanical) to inspect and clear out our primary condensation line and they supposedly addressed the issue. However the issue was never fixed as we noticed condensation continuing to pour out of our second line. On top of that the techs were a bit arrogant and did a half ass assessment. Out of frustration we called NexGen and thankfully they were able to save the day. Eddie R. from NexGen is a class act - very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to come in to reassess and truly fix the issue. NexGen has earned our business for life.

I've had my Paine home A/C-Heating unit since 2016 and had yet to get any maintenance done.  I received an advertisement for a very reasonably priced Tune-Up, and so I called NexGen to schedule the service.  David T came to our Cypress home to perform the service.  I received an excellent value-David inspected the entire system (in garage and backyard), talked me through what he was looking at and why, shared his knowledge, let me know my system is performing very well, made some suggestions about keeping my system strong and efficient, and sent me an estimate for the improvements suggested as we spoke.  He did not push to sell me anything, and in fact focused on my understanding and learning.  I hope NexGen keeps him on the team.  When I decide to add products to my system to improve its  performance or longevity, David is the one I'll call.  Great hire, NexGen!

As anticipated, their quote was about 5k overpriced and their price match policy is fake. Ended up going with Forever Cool who did an amazing job and services the downtown area and others. It was 9k where nextgen quoted 14k for a smaller unit!
I'm not a fan of companies who advertise fake promises of price match just to get customers in the door and false reassurance that they're competitively priced when in fact they're soooo overpriced. Also the owner should stop the fake hold music ads that further promote their fake price match policy

We had a mysterious leak that appeared to be coming from the air conditioning system. After NexGen determined that it was a plumbing problem and called their plumbing division, a plumber was at my home in 1 hour. Connor arrived and did a thorough assessment of the problem.  He explained everything clearly and remedied the problem.  He was fantastic! I knew the HVAC company was A plus and now I can say that the plumbing division is as well!!

I called about 7 different ac companies because my ac unit wasn't working. All of them had about a 3-4 week wait except for NexGen! They were able to make it out in 2 days. The technician sent was very polite and tried his best, but he simply had zero experience with heat pump systems. I do appreciate the effort he made, but he was grasping at straws and guessing. These guesses ranged from claiming the thermostat that's been working fine for 3 years had spontaneously become incompatible all the way up to telling me the entire system was shot and needed to be replaced.
Granted, he was very forthcoming about the fact that he didn't know how to work on heat pumps.

NexGen will not provide a refund for the services rendered, even though it's become evident they were unnecessary and the technician was throwing things at the wall in hope they would magically stick.

I get that HVAC technicians aren't clairvoyant and aren't magicians. Not being able to fix something is forgivable. What leaves a bad taste in my mouth are the ethically questionable business practices. In the initial visit, the technician said he got the system working, confirmed it was blowing cold air and packed up. He told me to leave the a/c running because it would take a few hours for it to start fully cooling. He said if it didn't work, it was because of the incompatible thermostat and that he'd come back and swap it out. I paid him and thanked him, believing him when he said it was fixed even though it wasn't working when he left.

Once they had my money, NexGen didn't care the problem wasn't actually fixed. They made scheduling promises they wouldn't honor; tomorrow or Monday at the latest meant Thursday. They continued to send back the technician who didn't know what he was doing. And I don't say that with disrespect, because he admitted flat out that he'd only briefly learned about heat pumps during his schooling and wasn't experienced with them. When he installed the new, cOmPaTibLe thermostat, not only didn't work, but it was turning on the heater instead of the a/c. Things were just getting WORSE and I began to worry the unit actually WOULD need to be replaced if he continued to hack at it.

No thanks to NexGen, my a/c is working now and the actual problem turned out to be extremely trivial and took 2 minutes and $0 to fix. The original thermostat works fine and we did not need to replace the entire system.

While I don't believe it was done maliciously, the fact of the matter is this company charged me over a thousand dollars, had me buy a new thermostat for no reason, and strung me along for weeks all because of the inexperience of their employee.

Our AC was not working and calling Nexgen Air was the best decision we could have made. Our service technician, Steve Arias, was a pleasure to deal with. Steve was on time, he fully explained the issue with our system and provided a solution. At no time did I feel pressured by Steve, as a matter of fact, I truly felt that he was looking after my best interest and not just trying to upsell me with options that I did not need. Once we decided on the repairs, we were able to get an appointment and have our unit repaired the following day. Not only were the installers on time, they arrived early.  I would recommend Steve Arias and Nexgen Air to all my friends and family.

We've been using NEXGen for a few years now.  Recently we converted our units to electric because of the solar panels we had installed.  They came out, and looked at our older units and gave us a great price.  What's more, they had out systems all installed within a a few days. Arturo, Ulises and Marvin were great and did a great and professional job.  Even explained to us everything that they were doing and how it would be done.  Fast forward a few weeks later, had a small issue with our Nest that came with the units.  They came out same day and got it resolved on the spot.  Great service, great company.  Will continue doing business with them.

I am so glad we picked NexGen and could not recommend them more highly! We recently bought a house and needed someone to remove Asbestos, replace ducts, and we also wanted air conditioning installed. We were nervous about finding the right people to do such a big job. NexGen went above and beyond in every way--they came out to do an estimate within a day of us calling and had their crew in two days later and the entire job done in a day and a half. We were shocked at how efficient they were! They quoted us a price right in line with what we were expecting from what we were quoted during our house inspection and that was nice confirmation that they were giving us a fair price. They were thorough and went above and beyond with little details (cleaning up carefully after themselves, explaining each step to us) and major ones. We received text messages and emails every step of the way and couldn't be happier with how things turned out. I decided to call this company as my hvac system has not been to powerful with the flow.  They were in my neighborhood so I decided to call. they came out the next day.  The service tech was very knowledgeable and explained my issues and gave me recommendations.  The manager Bill came out to review what the tech told me what needed to be done.  Bill was able to give me a good deal and great service from him and the whole team there.  The installation was fast and the lead and his team are very clean and work neatly.  If you request a quote online after business hours they respond next day right away.  If you want quality Hvac service this is the company to call.  When I need them again for any Hvac service I will be calling them.  I will be recommending them to my friends and colleagues.

Found NexGen on google when searching for a plumbing technician. Getting a tech out was easy and quick. One was available within 2 hours of the service call.

Jesse came out to our home on time and was very courteous and cordial. He even put on some shoe covers when he entered our home which we have never seen a tech do the past.

He solved our plumbing issue quickly and was knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend this company and Jesse in particular. Definitely will be using them again in the future for our plumbing issues!

NexGen, I received a quote for a upgrade on my home furnace and air conditioning unit by Regan.  Regan was very good about explaining the choices for a upgrade.  Regans follow through with answering question impressed me after hours.

Two guys came on time for the furnace and air conditioning installation.  Christian Q. and his co-worker were very professional and friendly.  They were very meticulous on taking apart the old furnace and air conditioning unit.
They were very best and clean after taking two days to install the two units.  Once again, they detailed and we're meticulous on installing the my new furnace and air conditioning unit keeping.  Christian explained a variety of what he was doing during the two days.  
I never new that a furnace and air conditioning unit could look so good.  They detailed the inside of the furnace and around the air conditioning unit.  Wow!  What great work.  
The best part was the follow up after the installation explained someone would follow up for the permit to make sure their furnace and air conditioning system were top notch.

I recently had an airconditioner and heater installed at the very same time.  It took only 3 days to complete the job.  My installer was neat and clean.  He cleaned up at the end of everyday.  They go out of their way to make sure you understand everything that is done.  The price was also lower than any company I had researched.  They also help to finance you if needed......I did at an interest rate of 8.99%!  Unheard of

Nexgen came out and fixed an HVAC issue that I believe was caused by another HVAC technician who addressed another issue a week previously.  After the other technician performed repair work, the house would not cool below 76 degrees. The technician, Patrick, advised that the wiring somehow got crossed causing the heater to turn on when the AC unit was turned on.   Patrick said he had been in the field for over 15 years and had never seen this.  When i asked if he could fix it, Patrick said I can fix anything.  He proceeded to fix the issue and repaired the HVAC system so that it passed the home inspection when we sold the house.  I highly recommend Nexgen in addressing your HVAC needs.

I would like to special mention Dave F. He called to give his ETA and was even earlier than expected. He was professional, helpful and diagnosed the problem. I've used NexGen several times for my Heating/AC and they've always been great.  A few weeks ago they were here for an inspection and casually mentioned that they also do plumbing.  I didn't know that and said I'd keep it in mind.  Well, the very next day, I noticed one of my drains was backing up, so I called NexGen.  It turned out that our house needed major repairs.  Ramon and Andres from NexGen were super helpful and patient throughout the long process of getting everything working again, spending hours in the house, in the yard, and under the house (which is difficult for anyone bigger than a child!).   I'm so grateful to Andres and Ramon, and to NexGen, for preventing a plumbing catastrophe that was about to happen.

I have been suffering from this inept company  since March 2019. I could literally write a book about this company. I'm getting to the point where I need to take legal action. They have been to my place over twenty times to always correct a problem with the brand new HVAC system they installed in 2019. I have spoken to so many people already but here are some of the names I can recall that  I have dealt with, Raphael, Derrick, Shane, Steven, Raul, Fidel, Brian, just to name a few but there are a lot of names I can't recall  after going through this hell for 5 years.

I should have ended my relationship with them the first week when I noticed they installed the brand new HVAC without a filter! I don't know much about HVAC systems but I know the filter should be there at the intake handler. Their price was the least expensive at the time but like they say, you get what you pay for.

They are always nice when they arrive and seem professional and personable but that's about it. Albeit, I did have the opportunity to speak over the phone with Ismael the owner, who was obviously at home (heard kids in background) and he was rude and arrogant because I told him the staff he sent was unprofessional and to send new people.

In a nutshell I have dealt with them as follows:
- new HVAC installed without a filter
-man walking on my white carpet with shoes after specifically asking him not to (must have been a language barrier)
- same man took a poop in my toilet then brought it to my attention and I saw the poop. I still until this day can't get it out of my memory.
- same man fixed the toilet ballcock valve and a week later it broke. I had to hire another plumber fix it.
-sexually harassed by two employees doing the drywall. They also overstayed their time. These guys were there for over 12 hours. It was a hot Saturday summer day.
-ongoing leaking issues and destruction of drywall (see picture).
-dented my metal automatic trash can ( which they finally replaced after several attempts to replace it).
-frequent changes in staff members.
-a manager negotiated a lower price for a good Yelp review. I told him absolutely not and he shouldn't be doing that!
-loss of many personal hours at home and from work spent having these people in my home to correct issues.

Yup this his been my negative experience that I no longer want them here. I have given them so many chances to make things right since 2019.

Save your headache and stress by not going with this company. I know their catchy song and statewide posters look tempting but they are by far competent based on my experience. I like big businesses but when they are managed well. Big does not always mean better. I really thought I made a smart choice going with these guys but I was wrong. Give the smaller businesses a chance because this place tries to run like it's big timebut cognitively the organization is poorly managed.

6/19/23- Guess what! It's leaking again my new HVAC system after them trouble shooting it to fix it!

They are arriving now and they are 30 min late. Today will be the final day I can work further with these guys.

Ben Trevino and William came out last night and fixed our heater. This was done after hours, and they both could not have been more professional and accommodating. We were without heat for 2 days, and it was very cold in the house. They did the troubleshooting and configured our thermostat to our preference. Larry Acuna from NexGen HVAC and Plumbing came for an inspection. He was very respectful and punctual. Even though water leak was in the front yard he was thorough and did inspection of the whole house for free. Larry also did pH and chlorine test on the water.

The estimates were much higher and not affordable for me. If the home warranty covers it, I would definetely hire them in future.

This is definitely a mixed review.
As a senior citizen I should have been experienced enough to know I needed to get more bids. The  SO amiable salesman oozed charm from every pore and promised that I was getting the best deal in town and it would not be available the next day.  He also stated that it was a 2 day job (1week).
They also tried to change the scope of work, but that issue was resolved.
I have recently been getting bids for an HVAC unit that I am installing in a building at the back of my property. A FRACTION of what I paid Nexgen for the same product. I feel like the world's biggest sucker.
That said, the installation crew was punctual, polite and left the place spotless.
To sum up the situation: If you have Elon Musk's cash, go ahead and hire NexGen.

I called Nexgen to help out with a plugged toilet. The tech came out who was very friendly and helpful however he misdiagnosed the problem resulting in unnecessary work being performed and a high bill. After speaking with the service manager, they sent a different tech who immediately resolved the problem as well as reduced my bill to reflect the actual work that should've been done. Guys, we all know that things don't always go according to plan, but companies that make things right are worth using. Will use them again!

My mother in law has been feeling ill and staying with us. As an 80+ year old, she is cold often, and unfortunately, our heater broke in the middle of one of the coldest months of the year. I could not have been more pleased with the service I received.  I needed work on a old bathroom wall heater.  Most companies I called would not even work on them   Nex Gen came out the same day.  They worked with me to coordinate the appointment with our renters.  I expected to have to replace the heater.  Their technician, Anthony, fixed the problem and I only paid for the service call.  Anthony was great!  He coordinated the visit with our renters and kept us informed.  We really appreciate this since we live about an hour from the property

My aircon is not  cooling that much at night and our weather is getting warmer as our summer approaches, I called NextGen, and the customer service gave me same appointment that day and , what even more satisfying is they move to earlier time, The technician came name Joseph, he checked my condenser, went to every room and check the temperature, even check all my filter, he stayed for few minutes to make sure everything  is working, He is very professional, knows what he is doing and patient,  and helpful, he gave me maintenance tips , totally recommend him and NextGen.

Our HVAC unit was due for a routine service inspection and we were not pleased with the last company that came out. We reached out to NEXGEN based on Yelp reviews and information on their website stating that the $88 inspection and tuneup was genuine and there would be no hidden costs. Our technician was Vincent and he was knowledgeable, insightful, efficient and friendly. Vincent patiently inspected our heating HVAC system, took photos of his work in progress and carefully explained what he found after his thorough assessment. Although there were several services that Vincent recommended, he was kind enough to prioritize which items needed more immediate attention. There was absolutely no pressure and all of the recommended services were included in the work summary and assessment along with the photos, which will allow my wife and I to discuss and work out a schedule for future service. We truly appreciate the service Vincent and NEXGEN provided to us and plan to make arrangements for future service. We enthusiastically recommend NEXGEN.

I don't write reviews, but had to for NexGen.  We called for a repair of an old HVAC unit.  Steve diagnosed the issues, and quoted repair costs, with a caveat that a new unit would be a much better investment.  He quoted the new unit, and negotiated a better price with his boss.  
There was never any pressure to buy, and he even waived the cost of the service call.
Eventually went with a Lennox unit from Costco at the same price.  I do think that the service from NexGen went above and beyond.

Definitely call them! They responded to my Yelp request so quickly and sent over a consultant that evening within a few hours. Started work in 36 hours! They provide quality work and professionals who show up as promised!! A very nice change from what we've been experiencing with contractors and subs lately. They work hard until the job is done...even sent more crew members to speed up!

On the downside, I had some complaints regarding worker's cleanliness at my house...left shoe coverings laying about, toilet seat up, and stained my carpet. Also, we were not consulted before they put the thermostat in and now it needs to be moved. Things happen during construction...understandable.  We can fix it all and they will be coming back to complete our HVAC for our home expansion. They said they will fix the placement of the thermostat and some of the wall vents moved to the ceiling per our request.

My advice to NexGen is to require a script for the supervisor to cover with the homeowners as well as their team.

The leader/supervisor on site didn't do a good job leading his team or communicating with us, but Norman stepped up to get things under control!! Norman recognized what was happening and took initiative to make things right. He was upbeat, thorough, and professional which saved the entire experience. Norman deserves a promotion because he cares about the customer first.

Marco was also outstanding and thoroughly explained the thermostat. He was always working diligently and was a pleasant person to communicate with.

Overall it was a very good experience with a slight hiccup on day 1. I would rehire them and just make sure you connect quickly with the supervisor about your expectations.

Okay.... guess I'll have to eat my words a bit.  Bill Kean showed up to my house this morning with the super competent and professional Ullisses.  Both worked incredibly hard to find the errors in the system installed and immediately fixed all problems and installed a simple thermostat that I could understand.  Bill also offered me a generous compensation.  Ullisses will be back tomorrow to install a new plate so that I don't have to figure out paint.  I'm super happy and now feel confident in the installation. Awhile back we had our AC unit and heater looked at. The technician Roger C. arrived and he was quite knowledgeable but he talked so damn much... he was showing me things and saying this was so dangerous and it could catch fire, the heater where pilots light up the metal expands and retracts and was wearing out. I'm not even sure if he got around to actually cleaning the unit outside.  He then had 3 estimates for repairs and basically he showed up to sell his services.  He barely cleaned anything, I cleaned the blower motor myself since he was talking so much. Honestly it seemed as if he was trying to scare us into getting services kinda like what you hear a mechanic does to unsuspecting females or males. I wouldn't recommend this company at all

Highly recommend Nexgen for the following reasons:
1.  Called them on 2 separate occasions after 5 pm and shortly got an agent who was very polite.
2.  Roger the tech, arrived at least 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment.
3.  He was very professional, friendly, and most importantly able to answer questions in simple terms.
4.  He did an excellent job cleaning the AC and all the accumulated dust around the heater making it look like new.
5.  He document with a photo of the before and after and showed digital measurements.
6.  He offered several heads up services and other preventive services without pressure.
7.  Took advantage of their $88 service that include both AC and heater. Other companies charge more for both.

Good honest service from these guys for my plumbing issues. We have bad water quality here and needed a filtration system. Connor broke down all our options and pros and cons of each one. He was very patient and friendly and helped us be sure of the system we were installing since they can be pretty pricey. They get all the parts quickly so he came back the next day and did the install. He did a great job with it, the unit fits snug and all the pipes are cleanly arranged. I would call him back for future jobs!

Ruben came out late in the evening to help fix a mini split AC unit that smelled of socks. In about twenty minutes he identified the problem, explained how he could best treat it chemically, have me excellent advice about further maintenance and got the system working excellently. After soliciting a few bids from contractors to replace my old furnace, I ended up choosing NexGen. I chose them not because they had the lowest quote (they didn't, but they were close), but because they seemed the most organized and polished. I was not disappointed. The installers showed up on time (in fact, a bit early), and they proceeded to take out my old furnace, clean up and seal the space around it, and install the new one. Throughout, they made the process seamless and almost invisible to me. When there were issues, they figured them out without burdening me. At one point it turned out that the exposed part of my duct work was leaking, and it wasn't in the contract for them to fix it, but they replaced it with brand new stuff at no cost or inconvenience to me. That's the kind of high caliber outfit this is. The most impressive part is how polished and professional the job looked at the end. Everything is just so clean. And the furnace works perfectly.

After talking to several HVAC contractors in the LA area, here's my take. Nexgen aren't necessarily the cheapest, but they charge a more than fair price for the job done right. Other contractors seem like they cut corners here and there, don't guarantee their work as much, or compromise on the quality of the components. Nexgen do the kind of work that you'll never have to worry about, at a more than fair price. They did everything right in my case. I highly recommend them.

I have had issues since we got our air conditioning unit almost 2 years ago and today we had to have someone come out yet again because the condenser stopped working. For the price you pay for a new unit. This should not be happening. I had to pay $413 for a condenser saver and I am very unhappy. I truly feel like the people who did the initial install did not install it correctly and it will never work as it should. When the unit froze over after a couple days of install it probably should have been replaced, but now it seems like I'll have to deal with this lemon. If I could go back in time. I would reconsider the other companies.

Update: they asked me to remove my review a while back, I'm adding it again because these people are bad humans and just predators, they came to fix my AC and I don't know if it was malicious because I keep asking for help (not meanly, more like begging them to help. This dude came to fix our AC and didn't install the filter, I can't access the unit reliable but I can taste the dust in my mouth, and I know my one year old can feel sick from it. They are predators, they are evil, and they treat their customers like garbage. We feel sick, icky, and everything was better before they came to fix up our unit last week. Who doesn't try to make sure people are healthy after spending thousands of dollars with you and being a loyal customer for 4+ years? Stay away from Nexgen Air, find a second opinion if you already have them like I'm going to do, just find someone else.

I only post about good things people do or when people really are just acting like bad human beings. Bad stuff happens all the time and bad service is just part of dealing with life. But when people are bad human beings I kinda need to say something. And I'm curious if Ismael or Christine will reply to someone saying that their employees are messing with a newborn baby and making her feel horrible, but won't be surprised if they don't because they seem hot or miss on what they care to respond t

My wife and I have a 2 month old baby, and the humidity in our house is between 50-70% with our 18 month old NexGen system. Something is wrong with it. Their service has been awesome so far, until they send this muppet out to fix it who instead decides to give me an education on how AC works while my then 3 week old baby is locked in a room without AC while he fixed it. He didn't. I call to complain, they schedule an appointment, but the dude is 3 hours late while my wife and then 5 week old baby are locked in a room without AC. He was so tired and grumpy from his previous job that he spent 20 minutes taking pictures of stuff to prove I was being a douche and nothing was wrong and then left.

Bottom line, I'm probably gonna need to break my warranty and have someone come out to help. We're just sick and sweaty and feel awful, and we now includes a 9 week old baby. I'm telling you, these are people that are being awful human beings.

Part 2 - After 7 repair attempts and a $16k price tag. My Nexgen airconditioning unit still DOES NOT WORK. Imagine the time off work, the inconvienance, the time spent on the phone repeating over and over, the power bill, the embarassment to my family and guest. Nexgen's style is to play dumb and use damage control tactics. Who are you? Are you even our customer?, Who's that? we never had that employee, Oh we will fix it once and for all. As a friend stay away from this company, you will save alot of money and wasted time.

Just had yearly tankless water heater cleaning so we can keep the warranty alive. Appt easy to set up, good communication.

Technician Marco is knowledgeable, and completed the service as well as looked into a plumbing noise that appears when using the laundry and the long time it  takes hot water to go throughout the house. Marco explained various options and upgrades including pressure regulators, and gave me quotes. I will look into those repairs further to see if we plan to use. Otherwise the cleaning service was completed well.

Terrible service. I called them days in advance to have some inspect and repair. The technician was just trying to sell us a new unit over $30K or rebuild the entire machine. The funny part is that the technician didn't even fully inspect or locate the issue at hand. No attempt to work with the customer or to see if they can repair. Just sell sell sell. The NexGen team was fantastic! I was having issue with our heater and after doing a Yelp search, called a few places and immediately got a good vibe that mirrored the positive feedback I was reading in reviews. From that first phone call, the team was professional and organized. They asked me preliminary questions to understand the scope of services I needed, gave me an appointnment window, provided confrimation and even texted me with same-day updates on the status of their arrival which made me easily plan my day and not have to sit around and wait. Roger Cuadra, the technicain who came to diagnose was prepared and made sure he was communicating what he was doing every step of the way. He was open and honest from the onset, explaining a few options from best to worst case scenario to manage my expectation and I was thrilled when he ultimately was out of there in less than hour and was able to solve my issue with the tools and materials he had on hand. From beginning to end their services was top-notch. I had a great experience and I won''t hesitate to call again if I ever need their services in the future. 10/10.

I called Nexgen to unclog a kitchen sink. I honestly don't know if they came from the Torrance location.

The two technicians were on-time and as friendly, clean, and considerate as could be. After they explained different options that included an expensive Hydro Jet cleaning or replacing a section of main-line drain pipe that they said was the cause of the problem for $1,200, I opted for the advertised $89 drain cleaning. They explained that it would just be a temporary fix and the drain would probably clog-up again in a few weeks.

When they finished an hour later and presented a bill for $211.75, I asked, what happened to the $89 advertised special? They said the $89 was for just them to show up and didn't include any work they did.  A few words were exchanged and I paid the bill. Lesson learned.

I called Nexgen to summer preparation service my 15 year old Carrier AC whole house system. David T offered me a rejuvenation package which bundled several improvements and replaced parts at a substantial discount.

David T, from NexGen serves the Orange County, southern CA region and I feel he exemplified the best customer service I have ever had from a service provider.

Dave is very personable and explained everything to me in detail and showed me before and after pictures of his work. He should be the standard that Nexgen should set for all of its service persons. While ALL my visits from the company have been very satisfying, he was the best yet.

I really enjoyed talking to him and he respected my home and even helped me reset my Nest thermostat for a new Google account.

I highly recommend NextGen for anyone and if you can get David T to your home, all the better.

We had an issue with our shower/tub and made the mistake of calling another company first. We had to wait several days for them to come and when they did they left without fixing the problem. We called this company and David Delarosa came the same day. He diagnosed and fixed our issue in 30 minutes. He will be our first call from now on!

Someone came to our home to provide an estimate to repair/replace our heater. The technician wrote an estimate for over $19,000 and presented it to my 75 year old mother. They also had the nerve to question her about financing the work and asked her for her social security number. The technician also made a hole in the wall next to the main heater vent. They also made a mess of the broken heater and left many parts scattered around. These people prey on their customers, do not call.

Office A/C went out just before the HOT weekend. Called Nexgen. They came out gave an estimate, installed new system the next day. Courteous, professional,great service. Nice and cool again!!

Jose was my service man, and he was very professional and polite. Nexgen have service my Hvac for several years they have been professional and reasonable priced. Definitely recommend them.
