I didn't use KNC plumbing because they were closed. BUT I had a leak outside with an old sprinkler system that was not in use and it was dripping pretty heavy.
I am so grateful and thankful that KNC responded to me. They were the ONLY ones who took the time to tell me what I should do and where I was able to find the main etc. Sounds simple I know!!! But I appreciated the time they took to help me and to guide me in what I was to do next!! Thank you so much!! I appreciate it!

My water heater burst and flooded the service porch, bathroom, and kitchen. My insurance company said they will not pay for the heater, only the damages cause by the water. I called Pat and he came by the same day to give me an estimate. I called 2 other companies and Pat's bid was the most competitive. I wanted to move the water heater from inside in the service porch to outside by my water softener and filtration system. Pat tried to save me $1000 by installing the new tank in place instead of moving it but I was adamant about moving it outside. He noted that insurance isn't going to cover a lot of my damages so I should save money. I think most plumbers would try to get the most money by doing a larger job but Pat is genuinely concerned about his clients. For $2600 Pat installed a new 40 gallon water heater with a 10 year warranty out side, new copper water, new gas lines from the meter on the other side of the house, an enclosure with proper venting past my roof line, removed and took away the old water heater, and capped the old lines. He installed 3/4 gas lines in case I want to go tankless in the futue. He started at 9 am and was done by 5 pm. I am so relieved to have water again! Pat made this stressful process much easier. He's so personable and knowledgeable. I'm not an expert, but the craftsmanship looks good to me!

Satisfaction level - Zero!
Had a problem with water leaking from the upstairs bathroom which worked it's way through the downstairs ceiling. After 4-5 returns to our residence (lost track how many), and several reassurances the leak had been taken care of it continued. During the last visit our plumber Matthew became very defensive and argumentative when I mentioned our building inspector said we either had the worst plumber in San Pedro or they just enjoy returning. Matthew then went on to explain it was not his plumbing, it was the tile grout upstairs which needed repairing and he was simply returning as part of his customer service (really). When I mentioned a long strip of terry cloth towel had fallen from the repair area onto the plastic covering the hole in our ceiling he stated no, that's caulking. I guess I believe what I hear instead of what I see. Select a different plumber!

Bottom line up front: Western Heating Air Conditioning & Plumbing do exceptional work and are uniquely responsive to customer needs. This was an Easy 5 star rating. I will definitely use them again and/or recommend them to others in the future without hesitation.
Now the down and dirty details: Last Sunday I was cooking breakfast and heard a very long, loud what sounded like a water drip. I investigated and found something was leaking from my downstairs bathroom exhaust fan cover, directly into the toilet (sometimes a little luck is a good thing I suppose). After a little troubleshooting found that it was leaking from the master bathroom and the shower in our guest bathroom. Definitely time to call in professionals.
My daughter had work done with Western in the past and highly recommended them to me. I called last Sunday, mid-afternoon and left a message. Within the hour, Rick returned my call and scheduled an appointment for Monday.
Upon arrival, Frank diagnosed the problem but unfortunately due to the COVID situation parts were not available late enough in the day to correct the problem. Understand completely that within the tight quarters required to make the fix, not something you want to leave partially completed, waiting for parts and quite likely rendering all the upstairs facilities inoperable. A temporary fix was put in place allowing us to shower that evening. The following morning Rick and Frank were on the job and shortly had the leak permanently fixed. While some sheetrock needed to be removed to correct the problem causing the normal messiness that sheet rock and especially wet sheet rock can cause, the work area was appropriately covered prior to working and thoroughly clean after the job was complete.
Once again, thanks guys for a job well done.
Thanks!

I had a plumbing issue for while that I ignored. Yes my fault. Finally I could not ignore the issue anymore. I reached out to Graham Plumbing and they were quickly able to diagnose my issue and the leak I had. Thank you to Graham Plumbing and to the 2 guys named Josh that were dispatched to help me out. I appreciate you all!

I have used Mike's Plumbing three different times and was very happy with the service and pricing each time.
The first time was when the tub faucet leaked hot water when I would turn on the shower. Mike came and took a look at it and he started the work and his son finished the work. It no longer leaks and I don't have to rush my showers for fear of using up all the hot water.
The second time was when my garbage disposal stopped working and the sink drain was clogged. I bought a new garbage disposal which Mike installed. He also replaced all of the old copper pipes with new BVC piping and snaked the line to make sure there wouldn't be any more problems with clogs.
The third time I asked Mike to replace the shutoff values for the kitchen sink and to install a T joint so that I could have a separate shutoff valve for the dishwasher. Mike's son did the work and he did a great job!
I would highly recommend Mike's Plumbing.

I called the company at 7:45 (prior to then their phone systems just said unable to connect at this time, try later) Although it was strange that there was no voicemail I was happy when I got through and they were able to send someone to my home by 8am. They were prompt and he spent about 45 minutes running the snake through my pipes all the way to the street, over and over again. Apparently there was ALOT of grease build up. I've had two other plumbers come out that did a quick job and my sink clogged back up again within 6 months. After watching all of the black gunk come out of the sink trap I feel pretty confident that I won't need a plumber again in 6 months. Steve was the technician and he was very professional.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER. Unless you like paying a premium for the work, taking for ever to get the job done, and receiving substandard customer service. I have been dealing with Gorsuch for the past four months and it has been the worst experience I have ever had with any contractor. I am the president of a homeowner's association and Gorsuch was recommended to us by the HOA management company as a plumbing company of size and reputation to get a larger project done. I don't know how they have built this so-called great reputation. When they came out to bid a gas re-piping and new gas meter job for a 21 unit building in Long Beach, it was a disaster from the start. After agreeing to pay upwards of $35,000 for this project and signing a contract that said it would take about two weeks, I specifically asked to be kept abreast of the project. Instead, this two week project turned into a four month nightmare! I don't fault the workers, but the owner/manager, Matthew, had the communication and business skills on par with any organization that has driven themselves out of business for not listening to the consumer. You would have thought that a $35,000 job would have come with some progress updates. Instead, they complained about trenching under the building and lack of cooperation from the tenants for access. This is something they knew from the moment they bid the project. But instead of communicating these issues, they just let it drag on. I still to this day do not know what took so long. I was told at the beginning of the job, that the gas would remain on in the units that did not have leaks, that the city would turn on the meters as they passed inspection, etc. All these were either lies or a general lack of knowledge on the City of Long Beach policies. The outcome was that 21 units went without gas for heating and for cooking for FOUR months! To pour salt in the wound, I facilitated getting access to some units by hand delivering keys to their receptionist. They lost the keys and then tried to say that I had given them different keys and point the finger at me. I sent them so many emails asking for updates that went unanswered. The sad part is that Gorsuch was so short sided as the association had voted to allow only one plumbing company to do all future work on the building and that company was to be Gorsuch. Now, we have voted to ban them from ever doing business with our association again. Lastly, the units in the building are owned by investors, Realtors, property managers and others who would have the ability to recommend Gorsuch for many other plumbing jobs. Instead I will recommend everyone to avoid them; especially on big jobs at condos, apartment buildings etc. Their motto is Putting pipes in their place since 1939 It wouldn't surprise me if some of those jobs are still waiting for those pipes!

I wish I could give a HIGHER rating, but honestly, my experience was Meh at best. I was referred to this company by the former homeowner of my home. My new home needed a new liner within the sewer line (root intrusions and offset pipe). They offered the best bid for the job required, and that made them very attractive. Initial communications with them were great, they replied back to in a timely manner. That's really why they even received 2-stars. The part that really prevented them from earning more is actual work performed. I was told the work will only take 1 full day.
Day 1, their technicians arrived, I met with them, left my payment on the kitchen counter for them, gave them my number in case they have any questions while I stepped out of the house during their repair. (so far, so good, right?) Well, around 4:30pm (close to end of day), I get a call from the technician's supervisor and was informed that the work was not finished due to a misinformation of what city my home was in (Lakewood or Long Beach). WELL, if someone had called me right from the start, I would have immediately clarified what city we belong to in order to finish the work that day. BUT NO, they waited until the end of the day to ask. All the while, nothing was being done at my home (ALL DAY).
When I came home that day, I come to find the side of my house all in disarray. My Crawl space access was left OPEN and EXPOSED, my planter section is dug up and dirt is everywhere, and caution tape is strewn across my plants, and on top of that, because they haven't finished the job, I was NOT able to use water within the house. Basically, the work never even began on Day 1.
Day 2, they come back out to finish, but alas, when I came home later in the day, I see my yard is still in disarray with Crawl space access still Open, Caution tape and dirt everywhere. I reach out to the technician this time, and was told he had to take a break (for the rest of the day) due to oncoming heat exhaustion. That, I totally understand. He promised to come back later or tomorrow to close up my crawl space access.
Day 3, NO SHOW and my check was cashed by this time, but the work has not been 100% completed. This is where it really pushed me to the edge. had to send a heated email to their office, regarding what's been happening.
Day 4, finally a technician shows up and closes up the crawl space (the end).
In the end, it took a total of 4 Days for the entire project to finish (start to finish). Moral of the story is, if the price is TOO GOOD to be true, it most likely is.

They charged me $6 restocking fee for $24 in parts returned.
I bought the stuff at 11:30am and returned the parts I didn't need at 4pm.
Really?
