I wish I could give them no star!! The guy charges us $440.00 for a $80.00 plumbing job!!! Most of the charges was for him waiting for our building to turn water back on!! We didn't know that the building was going to shut the water down! The main issue is that he don't told us that he was going to charge us for him waiting!! If he had letting us know ahead of time I would have been ok!! Wouldn't use this plumbing service again!!

We used Anderson's A1 Plumbing to replace a hot water recirculator pump. They called 30 min. Prior to arrival, assessed the issue quickly and answered all questions. The second appointment was just as professional and prompt. We've dealt
With several plumbers/service/repair people recently and haven't had luck. I'm glad we found AA1P. Will be our go to moving forward.

Grateful they came on short notice. Masked and professional. Couldn't have asked for better service. I'll be calling them for all my plumbing needs.

I had a good experience with Fred at Aqua Plumbing. I had a plumbing problem. Fred was very responsive. He called me back promptly. Based upon a photo I sent him he was able to give me advice. I really appreciated his help.

TL;DR - I was the customer from heck, but all 8 of the Horizon personnel I worked with were friendly, patient, and incredibly professional. They bent over backwards to earn my trust and confidence, and delivered superior results!
Our furnace stopped working the day after Thanksgiving. I called Horizon in the morning and they had a tech, Shawnte, to our house shortly after noon. Shawnte was great. Very friendly and very fast. He quickly advised us that the furnace shut off because a roll out switch had been triggered. This condition typically happens when the heat exchanger has been cracked, and it can result in very high levels of toxic gases in the flue. I watched as Shawnte checked the exhaust gases with a probe, and the readings were in the thousands of parts per million when they should have been below 50. Shawnte's boss, Carl, then came out with a camera designed to check for cracks in the heat exchanger. I sat with them as they inspected the heat exchanger and found a series of cracks exactly where they predicted they would be.
They had a sales person, Rebecca, out to me that evening. She put a very thorough system estimate in front of me, based on the options I wanted. She answered almost every question I asked, and, when she didn't know the answer, she called Carl, the service manager who had come out to my house, to walk me through the details of the system, Horizon's parts and labor guarantees, and how their installs differentiate them from other HVAC companies in the region.
Later, when I decided I couldn't foot the entire cost of the very nice system I had Rebecca spec out for me, she came all the way out to my house AGAIN (on a Sunday!!!) to help me pare down when I was seeking, sweetened the deal with discounts, and even had me speak with her sales manager, Cameron. Keep in mind that my conversation with Cameron happened at 7:30pm on a Sunday night! In the end, I agreed to a system that was still very nice, much more efficient than the system I already had in my house, but without all the bells and whistles I thought I could afford.
Horizon had a team out *the very next day* to replace my system, and the team, Adam, Tim, Sean, and Dominic were just incredible. Friendly, informative, and patient. They even stopped in the middle of their work to answer questions I had about the system they were installed, etc. They worked for 12 hours to get it all done that day, and Tim and Adam stayed late to walk me through all the ins and outs of my new system and thermostat.
Definitely recommend!!!

T Mayes Plumbing are crooks. Back in February 2022 I had a leak in upstairs bathroom draining into my entry way light fixture. I called American Home Shield for a service request they send the request to T. Mayes after taking a 75 dollar service fee upfront. I had to call Mayes to find if they would come. I called the dispatch on Wednesday and they tell that no one can come until Friday. Friday comes and I called to find out when they are coming and they tell me that the tech has car trouble so they will have to reschedule for Saturday. Saturday comes no technician and no one to answer my calls. I call Monday and they tell me they would have get back to me to see when they could come. I hang up call Rotor Rooter and a hour later the Rotor Rooter tech comes and an hour later after that the job is done. Mayes Plumbing apparently tells AHS that they completed the job and they get paid $75 without proof of work or signature of proof. American Home Shield is shady and Mayes Plumbing are liars and thieves.

This company is a big scam. I should not have trusted Jeffrey Muncey and the owner. I paid for a project that was not completed.
Jeff Muncey locked my property and ran away with the keys without completing the project. I had to buy a new lock and pay a locksmith for a new installation. I paid upfront $750 to Valley View Handyman Services for nothing. They are not responding to phone calls or texts. This was a total nightmare but I'll make sure that justice will be served.
I have more details but hope this summary warns others so they can avoid similar cons.

These guys are outrageously expensive. I was in a pinch since it was the day before thanksgiving and the problem required that all the water in the house be off. So, I called and they came when they said they would- that is the reason for 1 star.
So, I had previously fixed the shower faucet but it broke again. I thought I knew what it was but again had to get it fixed adapt and couldn't trust my limited skills. I told the technician what I thought it was and he said I was right. I needed a part and to redo what I did the first time. I specifically asked if I could get it at Home Depot or lowes. He assured me that I couldn't. So then I asked if I could order it online and get next day shipping, this would allow me fix before the holiday. Again I was told no that I would have to buy a whole new set including all of the stuff I didn't need which would be about 400. BUT, I was in luck because he said he had a return ion his truck and could pull the little piece out of that. I should have known but the guy seemed nice so I agreed to have him do it and fix the whole thing for about 400. It took 15 minutes. After he left I pulled out my laptop- no way, the part is listed and is 5 bucks. So that and a new cartridge would be about 45 and I could install it in about 30 minutes.
I had to call and complain and was surprised that I was listened to and had the mgr return my call as promised. Well, I suppose it says something about a company like this when they actually have a job title of resolution mgr. This guy is a pro, talks a big game and makes you feel better. He spoke with his tech and said he agreed that I was misled and he was going to put the guy on notice. Ok, that's nice but.... So I said good but what about me getting ripped off. He had to call me back again. Calls and says he is going to send me a 50 dollar gift card. Gee thanks, so now it was only 350. I laughed and said ok whatever. The card did arrive so that was nice.
Bottom line is these guys are pros, they know how to lie and mislead and charge crazy amounts. Then, if you fight it you get a gift card. But in the end they are still way ahead and off sticking it to the next poor guy who needs his water on.
They will never get my business again despite the 30 dollars off coupon they included with my gift card.
