Thieves!!! I worked with Ron and Chris at Bluegrass Rooter. What a horrible mess. They were to add a new bathroom in my basement and replace all the plumbing in the house. I didn't know when I hired them that Ron had let his master plumber license expire so l had no chance of getting this done in the first place. They said it would take a month. Fast forward six months later and I'm begging them to come finish the job. They said, give us the rest of the payment and we will get it to pass inspection this week. So I gave them $5000 and they never called me back again. I had to spend $9000 to get all the plumbing fixed by another plumber in order for it to pass inspection. And I still haven't passed inspection because they did such a terrible job that needs so much work. I left at least 100 messages, because they don't answer their phone EVER and they don't have a brick and mortar storefront. So once they have your money they can disappear and never be found. Do not use this company. Ron is a thief!
Edit- I just read his response back to me. He says I never contacted him again. WRONG! He blocked me on his personal phone. I left nearly 100 voicemails on his business phone and he never responded back. He left me in such a terrible jam. He is blaming this all on his employees and on me. Well guess what Ron, YOU ARE THE OWNER! You should take care of their mistakes. You are a sorry excuse for a person and a thief. He's trying to act so nice like he cares. If he cared he would show up and fix my plumbing that he messed up. Pathetic.

These folks are fantastic!!! The lady answering the phones is focused and gets you to who you need to take care of whatever you have going on. AND of course they solved my problem promptly keeping me out of deep water.

The technician , Jacob, that came out was friendly and quick to find the problem. I was so happy that he could come out on short notice. The work was great and he was efficient in the time and even under his estimate. Thank you and I will be calling on there services again.

Refused me service when I asked him to wear a mask in my home.

I called on Monday, 1/9/17 for an appointment for the following Saturday, 1/14/17, to have my sink and faucet connected after having new countertops installed. The person I spoke with over the phone was very courteous, made note of what I needed, and scheduled me for 1/14/17 between 12-5 p.m.

That's where the professionalism stopped. I received a call from Chris the following Saturday who made it clear over the phone that he had no interest in coming to my home to look at the job. He questioned me about the fact that I had scheduled the appointment in advance and said there were more pressing plumbing issues he needed to attend to, and said he would likely be unable to get the job done even if he did come take a look at it. After making it clear that I had indeed scheduled in advance and would like him to take a look, he begrudgingly came by. He was even more rude in person, talked down to me, and questioned me about why I had my countertops installed on a Friday, which was totally irrelevant to the issue at hand. After dealing with his rude and condescending tone and once it became abundantly clear that he had no intention of getting the job done, I politely said I would call someone else. He said okay and walked out.

Of course, I was left without plumbing or running water in my kitchen. If I had known I would be left hanging by Dauenhauer Plumbing after scheduling several days in advance, I certainly would have called someone else. Incredibly disappointing and I will be sure to share my experience with others.

So far they have been to my cabin in Willisburg 3 times, once to install a heat pump and twice to repair another expert's mistakes. They are now working on getting the thermostat so that it does not run basically all the time and not heat the place well. Set on 72 and temp
66. I have been told by Chris a few days ago the stat should have a setting for emergency heat.
The reason this is not a 5 star review is the advertisement stating 24/7. First, contacted the day after service that the heat was still not running properly. The fellow (Jake?) called me back to say he had reached  out to sevicemen but none had returned his call. This was Saturday. The problem would be dealt with, apparently, the first of the week.
I called today, Sunday, to give them further information and got an answering service, who obviously knew nothing about what I was saying, but would give them the message.
I'm not sure these two incidents truly represent 24/7 service. You can contact the company, but I think service on the problem is implied when 24/7 is advertised.
I'll be happy to edit my review when the heat problem is ironed out.

If there were 0 stars to give to this business, I would. I contacted them and scheduled repairs in my home on Saturday from the 4-8 pm window. They confirmed, but never showed up and didn't give me any notice. Not only I wasted my Saturday afternoon, but my big problem with the leak still exists and I now need to chase new plumber on Sunday.

They did so many mistakes on our property we had to bring in another plumbing service to finish and repair all the damage costing us thousands of dollars, some things they damaged could not be repaired and our new property is permanently damaged. I strongly recommend you stay clear of them!
