Best Septic Tank Services in Austin TX
I can't thank Rooter-Man enough for their service. Today was the last day of my lease, and I'm moving to a new house, but I needed a repair done before the end of the lease to 'make good' with my landlords - my boyfriend had accidentally broken the handle on the water valve that goes to the toilet, and we didn't realize it needed to be fixed until *last night.* Desperate, we reached out to several 24-hour plumbers in NW Austin. Few answered the phone, and those who did didn't have much in the way of availability (which is completely understandable - we knew it was a last-minute request, and a long shot, especially for something non-emergent). Luckily, Lisa answered the phone at 8:30PM and told us that she had someone available to see us at 11AM today. Kyle arrived on-time and worked very expediently. He replaced the water valve in under 30 minutes, including the time it took to shut off the water to the house and turn it back on. He was courteous, to boot, and we can't appreciate him enough for helping us out when we were in a lurch. We've got a new plumber for life!

I had an emergency and Jim was responsive and fair. I had to choose the earliest available plumber and so did not get to use his services but I would not hesitate to call him again in the future. Please contact him if you have plumbing needs, he will respond and give you fair pricing.

Agree with all other positive reviews. I emailed the business after hours needing a quick fix (massive leak required the water to be turned off), I received a return call the next morning, broken pipe/valve fixed in the afternoon, and I had water flowing again for a reasonable price. I don't understand the negative review where the business did not promptly return a call. As a business owner myself, I understand that emergent issues from clients tend to come in waves, and sometimes I cannot respond to everyone timely even if that person wants to give me [a lot of] money. This business owner appears to properly triage incoming calls while also working hard to maintain previously made non-emergency appointments since people take off work for such appointments. That's exactly what a consumer should expect from a responsible business.

Pete and his company are first class. From the moment I contacted him to the end of the job, Pete was a consummate professional. The communication was seamless, his quote was the best price out of 4 other companies, and he is military friendly. Our tenants were also impressed with his professionalism ensuring the job got done correctly. We are stationed overseas, and the peace of mind knowing that I wasn't going to get taken advantage of means everything. This company is veteran owned and run. We will definitely use Pete again for our plumbing needs!!

Came out for an emergency visit when my shower broke and I could not turn off the water. They were super fast, arrived in under an hour and fixed the problem (replaced the cartridge in the shower) in 30 minutes. I absolutely will absolutely call them again.

Kinda an emergency, needed yard mowed quick. Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend. He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday. Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out. He is very honest, did work. Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures. Great guy, great lawn guy. Top notch. Hard worker.

Very professional. Installed two water heaters in tight attic spots. Highly recommended.

They replaced the faucets in our master bathroom and they were so quick! I will definitely be using them in the future. They do all types of handy-man work.

We used Tanker for a shower remodel and then most recently to do a toilet reseat for us.
They are extremely professional, and their work has been excellent.
I'm not sure about their pricing vs others because I didn't shop them before they just came to reseat the toilet. I trust them so just had it done.
The pricing seemed a little high, but without another bid I'm not sure.
I will use them again when I need a plumber because they are trustworthy and professional. I'm willing to pay for peace of mind, even if they may have been more expensive.

Joe and his helper repaired my broken kitchen faucet quickly, and it works perfectly now. Before the scheduled appointment, he suggested I order the needed part from the Moen website, which I did, saving me an unnecessary visit. Very reasonably priced. Will call Johnny Rooter next time I need a plumber.

They are very responsive (via Yelp and phone) and pleasant to work with. They showed up in a timely manner and worked quickly and efficiently. The pricing is fair with no hidden costs. Thank you!

Half the price for more and better work than Immediate Response. I broke my neighbor's water line from the main to the sprinkler box. It was after 6 pm and very few places available. I chose Immediate Response who charged $200 just to dig I foot around the line. The next day I broke my own line the same way during the day with a UHaul. People's Choice did it for no charge at all. In addition he found a second problem and fixed it too. He was half as much for more work.
I highly recommend People's Choice Plumbers.

Honest and do good work. Knowledgeable plumbers. Worked with us on our remodel and also helped us last minute. Highly recommend.

Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

Pair Plumbing and Septic came out and identified both of my plumbing problems that no one else could find. Their service and expertise was A+. They also cleaned out my septic at a reasonable price in a timely manner. Thank you Pair Plumbing for your customer care and professional service. I will use you again and refer you friends and family. I think the bad review they got sounds more personal than the actual service they provide.

Highly recommend Kelly Williams for all plumbing repair and installation needs. They helped me with some plumbing make ready for selling my house and were not only an extremely efficient pleasure to work with but also affordable. Sold on this crew!!

I will call this plumbing review part one.
I have waited well over a month to post this review, you will see why a little further along.
Mid March my toilets and shower started backing up. I'm a DIY kinda gal so I rented a plumbing snake from a local rental place, pulled my toilet (we haven't known where our clean out plug is since we moved in 15 years ago) and tried to unclog the issue. No success. Figured the neighbors would appreciate us not peeing in the backyard so I looked around for a plumber on a Saturday and made a few calls. These guys called me back and we set something up for that afternoon. It is important to note here that my neighborhood is all in septic.
In an effort not to make this a six page review, here are the highlights:
-The technicians arrived on time
-They told me it would be 490 bucks to unclog using the snake and if they couldn't unclog it with the snake they would need to use the wet jet which was over a thousand bucks!
-There would be no guarantee (warranty)
-After about an hour they unclogged the drains, hesitated to tell me that my lines were clear and that I might need the more expensive water jet if this didn't work.
-They put their camera in the pipe inside my septic pump tank (last tank of the system that pumps the grey water to my septic field), and said I might have a 'belly' in my line.
So I paid them almost $500 bucks and went about my weekend. About five days later I noticed my toilets and drains were sluggish. Sure enough they started backing up again. This time I called a different plumber with good reviews. They came out and told me it would be $232 to unclog my line but FIRST they needed to see if my tank was full!!! Go figure - my tank was full. The plumber opened the tank and was able to shove some of the solids down so that I could at least use my plumbing til the next day.
Yup, so the next day my tank was emptied and I haven't had issue since. I did contact Reliant to talk to them about this issue. The technician called me back and was extremely defensive. In addition, I wrote a letter to the supervisor. I explained the situation and what I thought would be fair, since I believe they should still be compensated for coming out, was to refund me half the $500. This would have offset the cost of the second plumber and made things right. I heard back a week later from the office manager denying my request.
Bottom line - I believe the technician was inexperienced with septic and should have checked the septic tank levels first.
****Post notes
After hearing back from the owner several points should be made. First, providing a camera at no extra cost is simply untrue. The cost was almost $500 and the technician told me it was part of the service. Second, you cannot see if my tank is full if you do not look at the solid tank. I have clarified in the photo that my tank was unburied by the SECOND plumber not Reliant. Reliant simply looked at my pump tank. Lastly, the technician inserted the camera into my pump tank and told me I had a belly in my line. My pump tank goes to my septic field not my house.
Again, my belief and the second plumbers thoughts were that the snaking Reliant did pushed the solids down enough to give us relief for a few days but ultimately, logically, if my solid tank is full no amount of snaking will solve the problem long term. And if you are an experienced plumber with homes that are on septic, you know this!
Also noted on the INVOICE (see attached pic) is the recommendation of the thousand dollar 'jetter' service to clear out dirty water to see issue. The Reliant technician noted that day that although the clog seemed to be fixed the draining was not what he expected and the water in the line was 'dirty'. Yup, cause the solid tank was FULL. Sell me another expensive plumbing procedure but never mention the obvious.

I've used Salt twice and each time, I've been happy with their service. The last job was to rewire my AC condenser, because one of the legs was losing power. Daniel came out and quickly knew what was up. I let him know that I wanted to get another AC guy out before doing any work for a second opinion, so I did. AC guy tells me it's for sure an electrical issue, so the work will need to be done by an electrician. We got everything setup and Daniel and Cody were able to come out again and get the issue resolved. The work they did on the house looks great and I'm extremely thrilled with what they did.
I see there are a lot of reviews discussing the price of this service. While I understand concerns of pricing, my thoughts are - this type of work is not my expertise. When you're dealing with something that could burn your house down, you pay professionals. Professionals sometimes aren't cheap. This is part of the cost of home ownership. I know I can sleep at night and not worry about the electrical work in my house. They were thorough and very professional.
Side note: They came to my home while COVID-19 was happening. The extra precautions and care they took showed me how serious they were and how they respected my home. I thought this was great.
I would definitely recommend Salt to others.

I typically avoid writing bad reviews. But I just have to throw this out there...If you have any sort of problem that requires immediate attention, or attention that you scheduled, find another provider. I took two days off work waiting for these people to show up. Figured we'd be safe going with a national chain, I was sorely mistaken. Back to Thumbtack we go!
