Best Routine Maintenance in Austin TX
Curtis is awesome!!! I thought that he needed to fix a check valve that one of his co-workers did but it ended up being something that would be covered with my waterline insurance. He went above & beyond to help me understand what the insurance company will need to do. Very helpful!
Thank you Curtis & Rooter Man! I'm glad that I'm a member because I wasn't charged for the service fee!

We had a repairman come to our property yesterday to check a leak under the house and to repair 2 toilets that would not stop running. So he looked under our house (did not crawl under house), said he didn't have any plastic to lay on to go under and repair leak and he would have to come back out. You would think that they would be a little more prepared but whatever. Did replace 2 stoppers in the 2 toilets. The charge for this service was $250.00. We thought that included coming back to fix the leak under the house but no that would be a completely new charge. He was at our place for maybe 40-45 minutes. So I recommend you check your pockets when they leave. What a rip off.

Pros: prompt service. I was able to call and have someone service the leak in the same day. Staff was courteous.
Cons: pricing felt like borderline highway robbery. I had a leak just off the water meter. I exposed and discovered the leak, a pvc 90 degree even calling Anchor. I was quoted 65 dollar service fee and 668 dollars... Around 730 total to fix this l the leak. The only reason I agreed to the estimate was I didn't wish to wait another week for someone else to make it out.
TLDR: I won't be using these folks again

Alamo Water Softeners has provided my family with great quality soft water/drinking water! They also continue to provide excellent customer service. I had a few water softener company reps come out, but once we met with Alan, we knew they were the one we wanted to purchase the softener from and do business with. The no hard sell meeting with Alan was also much appreciated! He was very informative and honest as well. The whole process from the sale to the installation was seamless. The installer was also great to deal with as he was also very knowledgeable and proficient, and answered all my questions patiently. Our home was not pre-plumbed so the installer also took care of that, and I was very worried of all the mess that would occur as it required digging and drilling holes into our walls. At the end, everything was put back in its original state. Anytime I have a question/concern, Trudy is quick to respond. Their water softener has made such a difference in our lives and in our home. Finally, no more hard water stains or clogged showerheads! Thanks Alamo Water Softeners!

Great experience. No issues. They were able to handle an issue my handyman couldn't tackle and got to it the same day. Will definitely reach out again.

Jon came to our house for a few simple plumbing items during a kitchen reno. The work was completed quickly and easily, no issues at all! But what really stood out to me was Jon's interactions with my 4 year old son, Isaiah. Jon didn't mind letting him watch and even help with the work! My son was (and still is) thrilled about it. Anytime I tell the kids a contractor is coming to the house to do some work, he asks if Mr Jon is coming too. Thankful for the plumbing work but also the kindness, patience, and graciousness with the kids, very personable service. If we ever have a plumbing issue, we will be thrilled to have Mr Jon at our house again!

Had Hambone come out to see why we were hearing running water outside when nothing was on in our house. The recommendation was to replace our toilets. When the installer came, I reiterated my concern and said I wanted to make sure the issue was resolved. We found out that whatever we are hearing isn't coming from our house. Which is good! We replaced our toilets anyway since they were 20 years old, and the price was very reasonable for the job. It was done quickly an efficiency. I really appreciate that they went above and beyond to assure me that we did not in fact have a leak coming from our house.
