Best Toilet Repair in Irvine CA
AL was super awesome and courteous. The prices are awesome and the service was quick. I called for a stopped bathroon sink. Problem fixed. He came at the end of the 2 hour window so he was here on time.

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile. They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget! I would hire them again! Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

Came back home at 600pm on a Saturday to find my garage floor all wet. I didn't want to wait til Monday to call my usual plumber. There was no torrent and fearful that we would be without hot water before long, we both immediately took our last showers before looking for an emergency plumber that would answer the phone on a Saturday night. Courtesy Plumber answered the call. Left my info on their voice mail and within 30-45 minutes got a call back. A plumber was at my house just before 800pm, so kudos for good overall response time...
Water was trickling from the top of the water heater although the source of the leak wasn't immediately obvious. There was an unexpected drip line in the exhaust vent pipe. The plumber was systematic in his approach so I couldn't fault him too much for cutting into the drywall near the point where the exhaust vent from the water heater met with the ceiling, but the drywall around the vent had no obvious signs of saturation. So although I have a hole in my drywall to deal with, there wasn't a leak somewhere inside the ceiling or above which would have been a much bigger problem much to our relief. Turned out that the water heater had been leaking internally and somehow steam was being generated unexpectedly and rose up the exhaust vent whereby the drip was caused by condensation, not a typical failure mode by any stretch...
Once we figured out the source of the problem, the water heater needed to be replaced. I expected the problem to be the water heater since it was 20 years old but this was actually the first water heater that I've ever had to replace. I'll spare you all the details but the plumber hauled away the old water heater, brought in a new one (Bradford White 50gal), reconnected the hot/cold water and pressure relief lines, replaced the gas connection, installed a strap kit, and cleaned the area up in two hours on Saturday night and about 2 hours on Sunday morning...
There is a Yelp referral discount so if you use these guys remember to ask about it. The bottom line was about $1400 which may sound a little expensive, but this task was probably beyond what I would be comfortable taking on myself, especially once it's already broken. I was just glad that they came out on a weekend to do the job. So aside from a cosmetic hole in my garage ceiling to deal with, we're back to taking hot showers again after being without for what, only 14 hours? I would recommend Courtesy Plumbing in a pinch...

Had a huge blockage backed up my entire house. I'm so thankful that they answered me and rushed over. Called at 7am and they were within the hour. They found a small rag that was causing the issue. They promised to come back and check it out once we get a part replaced to ensure all is well. Call them, they are kind and knowledgeable

They were reliable, efficient, and very reasonably priced. They ended up being able to accommodate me quicker than I thought due to a change in their schedule, so that was an extra bonus! They put together a large trampoline just in time to surprise my son for his birthday.
I would definitely use them again, in fact, I already have another project booked with them for next week.

Prompt, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable! He showed up when he said he would, explained every step of the process, took feedback, and gave us options along the way. If you want someone who knows their stuff you'll get it here!

Mike is honest, reasonably priced, and local to SJC. And, I challenge you to find a cooler truck in the business.

Matt responded to my phone message within a short period of time! He listened to my issue and was able to accommodate my request for a morning appointment. He arrived in the time frame we had set and immediately got to work with delay!! He showed me the issue and replaced the pipe. And the best thing ever was he completely cleaned the work area with a white glove result. For all my plumbing issues in the future, my condo was built in 1968, I am calling Matt!!!

The plumbers here are friggin amazing!! Titus has come out to our house twice for bathroom issues and has seriously displayed the best customer service I have ever seen! I will never use another plumbing company again!

Dave and his team at Smart and Handy were amazing when I needed to do a full remodel of a condo for my elderly mother. When I called a handful of companies for an estimate, Dave was the only one who called me back within a day.
Dave gave great options to do the remodel with my limited budget. He also has a great sense of design and made recommendations and gave feedback on materials and colors. An added bonus was that he and his team are experts in remodeling homes for the elderly. I really appreciated the advice he gave on grab bars, shower seat, door knobs, door width, and other details. My mom feels so comfortable and safe with the features that were incorporated into the design.
Dave communicated well with me every step of the way. He and his team did a great job and always left the place clean. He also followed up a few times after the remodel was done to make sure that everything was satisfactory. I give Smart and Handy 5 stars and would not hesitate to use them again for future remodels.

Had a couple toilets that started running and sent a quote request through Yelp earlier this afternoon. Out of the many reaponses, Carlos committed to having a technician out to look them over within a couple of hours. Juan arrived in uniform and was very pleasant and clean. He took care of the situation within an hour and we couldn't be happier woth the experience. Highly recommend!!

Very impressed with the level of cleanliness and expertise when dealing with my kitchen sink backup. Especially during these hard times of covid, I felt that the two technicians sent out to my home, Matthew and George, were very prepared and ensured safety protocols. They wore boot cover ups when entering my home and masks as well as laid tarps down. They had all the right tools for the job and got it done quickly and effectively. Couldn't be happier with the price and the quality of work. My sink is flowing great and they showed me the problem and explained it so I could understand what I was paying for. I just found my go to plumber! Thanks guys!

The quick and fast, Ixtapa Construction is the best general contracting company I've had the pleasure to work with (I've worked with 3-4 over the last decade). I completely gutted a 4 bedroom, 2..5 bath, 2100 sq. ft. home we just purchased and Jay did it while handling timing pressure from my then 7-month-pregnant wife who was hesitant to even make the purchase, knowing the work it needed.
As the founder/President, Jay is a consummate professional (a rarity in this business), and a true craftsman. His Partner, Alex is also great to work with and keeps things organized and coordinated with all the moving pieces of a construction project. Most important to me is that Jay and his team takes pride and ownership in their work. Jay treated our construction project as if it was his own home. He takes the time to make sure things are done right, the first time. Moving forward, I'll always reach out to Jay first about my remodeling and home improvement needs before going out and interviewing/reviewing other contractors. Through my remodel, I'm fortunate enough to connect with someone who I've gotten to know and trust as my advisor for home remodeling and repair-related needs.
The longer version: We closed on our home in January of this year (2019). We knew we were going to completely gut and remodel the home. We didn't change the exterior (no additions) but all things interior of the home were to be redone. From all new water pipes to new electrical, new HVAC system, new 2.5 bathrooms and a new kitchen from the ground up including new flooring throughout.
This is our 2nd remodel of homes we are to live in, so it wasn't a completely new venture for us. The first remodel, I worked directly with a few tradesmen and oversaw/project managed the job myself. But this time around, with a newborn on the way and a 3 year old, I didn't have the time so we had to find a good GC that was fair, reasonable and accountable to work with. In total, we met about a dozen General Contractors (local via Yelp, Craigslist, HomeAdvisors, Houzz, you name it).
I first spoke with Alex by phone and then met with Jay at the house. Needless to say, he was on-time and professional. When we were ready to make a decision, we narrowed it down to Ixtapa and another construction company. I regretfully admit, we went with the other company first. The reason was that the initial bid was missing a few elements. I wish I had just went back and asked him to revise before making a decision. Truthfully, in my conversations with Jay, I had a good feeling. But we all make mistakes... The other company turned out to be a massive disaster (if you want more info, please reach out to me).
My initial timeline was the beginning of March for the home to be move-in ready. We started work on January 6th. By February 6th the house was all gutted, but nothing was being put back together. We started to get concerned as we were about 22 days out from when the house needed to be move-in ready. I got the typical contractor runaround and because I needed to be swift, I terminated the agreement. I had very low tolerance for a bad situation to get worse.
But since our initial meeting last December (2018) Jay stayed in touch with me and he actually followed with me to see how things were going.
I reached back out to Jay (at this point, under immense timing pressure) to see if he can help. He was able to get me on the calendar and get started in a week.
Ever since then, the house came together. And while I made changes to things and added things, he was very accommodating and did what he could to help us out.
Again, incredibly grateful to have met Jay and work with Ixtapa Construction. No job is too small for them, he's an honest craftsman that has a construction-framing background (so he can build a house from scratch if needed!) If he can't do something, he'll tell you. But overall, I'm incredibly happy with his service, professionalism and is the type of person you feel comfortable having around your family (which is also very important). And his team of craftsmen are great to work with too.
His pricing is fair, but through my own experience, you get what you pay for in this industry. Often times, you get low bids so they can come in and start the work, only to not finish or worse, cause damages. Talk to Alex/Jay, they'll work with you.
I will update this review with photos shortly.

This is an updated review from the last time I used Prostar. Once again I received top notch service. Faucet in the shower had broke. Not only did Prostar return my call right away one of their technicians was in the area at 7:00pm at night and performed the services I requested. Fast and efficient and that is exactly why I continue to use this company.

I found HHS plumbing on Yelp and gave them a try based on their good reviews and fast response to my quote request .
They came and replaced a kitchen faucet and their work was clean, efficient and very well priced. Similar competitors quoted me much much higher.
I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend them.

llai from Pristine Plumbing came out to our house almost immediately on a holiday to help identify a leak. He came in with a great attitude and was very knowledgeable on everything plumbing.
Several days later after demo has begun, he came out again to perform repairs. He was quick to identify the the problem and did an amazing job repairing it. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied with his work and did not leave until the leak was fixed and we had water again... all the way until 10pm! If you need a plumbing job, he's the man to call!
