Ethan helped us with our recent kitchen remodel. He is extremely professional and we couldn't be happier with the end result! Last spring our upstairs HVAC stopped cooling and we called our usual HVAC company in Jamestown to check it out. We assumed the freon needed recharging as we'd had a slow leak for a few years and had to recharge a small amount each year. They came out, charged it with freon for a cost of $555.10. Two weeks later, it was out again, and since we were having house guests that weekend, and we had recently met someone with Jessup Services, we called them this time. We knew we were due for a new HVAC soon, but our guests were arriving in 2 days so no time for that. Jessup sent someone out who diagnosed the problem, found the leak, sealed it as a work-around, and charged it with coolant. The technician also told us that there is a much less expensive substitute for freon available that was adaptable for our HVAC system and that there was no need to have used the expensive freon charge! I give Jessup 5 STARS for honesty, dependability, and the effort to do a work-around when we desperately needed it vs. just taking the easy way out and charging us another $550 and telling us we needed a new HVAC (which we already knew would be inevitable soon). Jessup went above and beyond to handle our problem, and 6 months later, their work-around is still working! Thank you Jessup!!

I have used Advanced Appliance for years and sadly, I will use them no more.  They used to be excellent, but have clearly gone way down in the last few years.  I paid for a 5 year maintenance contract with them on my furnace, we are on year 3 and I'm going to pay someone else to do maintenance.  Each time they come out for regular service, the unit is working fine, then they service it and within a day it stops working. Then they try to tell me something is wrong and it's going to cost me a lot to fix it.  Sometimes I've paid, sometimes I've complained and they eventually send out a senior technician who says the 1st guy made a mistake, everyone has to learn.  My last experience with them was that they scheduled an appointment, didn't come, didn't call to give a 2 hour window as they said they would and didn't let me know until afternoon that they wouldn't come at all and wanted to reschedule for the next day.  When I called and asked them if they would like to know why I will not be using them in the future, they said yes, then wouldn't listen, talked over me and called me names.  I'm done with them.

This is a very dishonest company!! Read complaints filed with BBB. Aurora ripped me off-lesson learned....just trying to save others from getting screwed over.

These guys were tops! Efficient, professional, friendly, and knowledgable. Shout out to Blake for being really dependable and communicative with anything I needed. I'd definitely use them again. Save yourself the pain of trying to find the total package in electric/plumbing services, and call these guys.

I scheduled with their dispatcher a few days ago. A technician was scheduled for Friday morning at 8:00 am. I received a reminder call and voice mail the night before to make sure I didn't forget that the technician was coming out. On Friday morning I had a missed call while I was in the shower. I assumed it was a call saying that the technician was on the way. There was no voice mail - just a missed call. I called their number and someone said they'd call me back. After 15 or 20 minutes (not sure) i called again and was told the person I needed to speak with was on the phone and would call me back. No phone callback received. After another 15 or 20 minutes I called back and was told they had left a voice mail on the call this morning saying the technician couldn't make it and asked if they could reschedule. I'll look elsewhere for service providers that care about their customers.
