I'm giving 3 stars because the technician that came out was a nice guy.

Two toilets that needed to be fixed. He quoted us over $800!! Found someone we liked better with more experience that fixed it for half of that.

Save your money and get multiple opinions.

Seven years ago AHWS installed our softener and Big Blue unit. We have maintained this system through them, with yearly check ups and all necessary and required maintenance. Our last system service was in Jan 2023. This morning 4-12-23, at an unknown time their plastic filter split/burst. It proceeded to spray water at a high pressure, un regulated with no fail safes for hours while we slept.  Our whole house flooded in the night.

We contacted them immediately (while juggling insurance etc...) and when a technician finally came he stated We have no way of knowing this will happen.  We understand that accidents can happen, and that products can fail beyond a one year warranty. However if a plastic filter is capable of causing that much damage American home water services should have knowledge like A) Recommend product replacement dates B) Integrity inspections C) Emergency cut offs or regulators that are installed at the time of the units installation. They were in charge of this system from day one and let this happen. If they did not inspect our products throughly, they are not inspecting yours.

If unit splitting happend to us it will happen to ANYONE with a big blue filter. Even those that did maintenance regularly.

I'm currently in the middle of a easily $200,000k plus water damage insurance claim. My family and I will now have to stay in a hotel because my house is now uninhabitable.  They also charged me for the removal of their product that ruined my home.

Andy installed a new hot water heater in 2011. Recently (April 2015) I awoke to no hot water and water around the hot water heater. Andy came the same day, had already checked that it was still under warranty, so replaced it!

My recent experience with Gold Star Plumbing has been nothing short of exceptional, and I wish I could give them 6-stars instead of 5 and here's why. They were able to complete 3 separate plumbing repairs at my house in one day, but even more impressive than that was the professionalism, expert knowledge, and willingness to come up with an alternate solution that resulted in over a 30% savings from my original estimate. As Mike and Kyle began work on replacing a leaking copper main between the main water meter and my house, they realized that modifications to the original water supply lines which were made after the home was constructed to accommodate a soft water hose bib connection could be reversed back to the original configuration intended by the home builder which would save a significant amount of money. Mike and Kyle were able to provide a new, alternate estimate to return the connections back to the original plumbing configuration which saved over 30% from the original estimate and the work turned out looking great and much simpler than what a previous homeowner had done. I cannot thank them enough for their ability to treat customers in a way that builds trust and create cost-saving solutions. I have been a Commercial General Contractor for over 34 years and have been more of a do it yourself-er around the house for a long time, but as I get older and my personal time becomes more valuable, I rely on experts to do a project in a timely fashion and at a fair and reasonable cost and Gold Star Plumbing has lived up to that standard. I am so glad I took the time to read the many customer reviews found online for a variety of plumbing contractors, and when I came across the many positive references for Gold Star, I felt confident that I was making the right choice. And let's not forget about the great experience that Devin provided during the initial investigation and estimating process. He was very knowledgeable and quickly determined that the water line modifications made in the past were not put in per code and explained the process to not only fix the leak, but also to do so in such as way that meets current plumbing code and provides a 10 year warranty. Devin's attention to detail in writing up the cost estimate, taking photographs of the three separate areas of work I needed done and providing a reasonable cost estimate allowed me to quickly make a decision and sign the contract for work to begin the next morning. My wife and I are close friends with several of our neighbors who all have similar age of homes and we will definitely recommend Gold Star Plumbing to them for potential future work. Rip off - $483 to replace a single bath shower cartridge. Make sure to get full estimate before calling these guys.

Easy to work with and reliable, had two outside hose bibs replaced about 2 weeks ago and it was very easy to communicate and get Randee scheduled.

I had a gas leak in my outdoor grill. I called them this morning and they scheduled someone to come out the same afternoon to look at it. Gave me a quote when they arrived on site and got the repair done the same day. Brian was very professional and courteous and did a great job with the new gas pipe.

I called Plum Smart because advertising said AC Guys charge to much. I had a clogged coil that costed me $350 Mat cleaned my coil and did it promptly. My issue is Mat misdiagnosed further problems that my compressor was not starting. He offered to try a start kit that was sold online for $44 for $300 is see if that would work. I asked Mat and he confirmed there was power to the compressor. However there was a issue with my thermostat not functioning because I played with it and the compressor turned on. Mat was not correct there was power to the compressor. If I had allowed scenario to play out, I would have looked at a $3000 compressor replacement or complete unit replacement. I told him I would wait for a while to see if the compressor would click on and paid him for the cleaning only. Thought it was pricey but I get it this time of year you pay. AC guys are swamped. Supply and demand. Gave two stars because of prompt service. Otherwise would have been one.

DJ and his crew were awesome. This is the first time I hired someone else to do my floors (my dad and I have done our personal tile jobs together since I was a kid) so I was nervous about the quality being up to my standards. The grout lines are small and tidy and time was taken to cut tiles with precision. We went on vacation for a portion of the work and I felt very comfortable leaving my home in their hands. DJ is warm and thoughtful, and I appreciated him being real and personable with me versus business-y and cold. It was also impressive that he facilitated the purchase and delivery of all the materials and a dumpster. I simply told him what I wanted after I shopped with his contact at floor & decor and he did the rest. Everything was simple and I felt reassured the whole time. He even allowed me to use my own plumber (as we've had some plumbing issues) to install new toilets and communicated as things changed so that the plumber came at the right time. He credited us the majority of the cost to remove and put the toilets back even though they did the removal and dumped them for us. The work exceeded my expectation and I've already referred two people. I will definitely use Vestbuilt again for any future projects!

They charge the least out of any plumber I have ever had and do just as good of a job, if not better. Arrived right on time, were extremely professional and knowledgeable in what they were doing. And they solved and fixed my problem in no time. Ben knows his stuff!

Knowledgeable, found difficult problems and found solutions. Worked in a timely manner. Polite group of guys-Abdiel, Henry,Daniel, and Miguel. We had a great experience with Big G Plumbing. They were sent by our home warranty company as a second opinion. The technician was friendly, professional, and worked quickly. He diagnosed and fixed the problem which the first plumbing company was unable to do.

Last week I had a toilet back up in my home. I had a very poor experience with another company prior to calling Roto Rooter.  The team had me scheduled for service to occur within 1-2 hours of my initial call. Then the service tech, Seth G., arrived and his customer service was excellent! Not only did he fix the backed up toilet but he did it in less time and for less money than a previous company. He was very professional and knowledgeable and they gave me a 6 month warranty and everything has been fine since. If any future problems arise in my home due to plumbing issues, I will only be using Roto rooter and specifically Seth G. As my service technician.

I had never used this company before but I read their reviews and they were awesome. I had a lot of electrical work to be done. Sheryl, the Customer Service Representative, was very kind, caring, friendly, and helpful in answering my many questions before the job was started. I am a 71 year old U. S. Army veteran who has been in Customer Service for over 30 years. I know great Customer Service and this company gets a 5 + review. They sent Mikey and Walter to do the work. What an awesome team they made! They were very kind, polite, friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. From the time they came to my home until the job was completed they never stopped working. They took down three floodlights from 20 years ago and installed three new floodlights, front and back porch coach lights, and four ceiling light fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms. They did an exceptional professional job. Also they cleaned up every bit of debris, and it looked like no work had been done. I would recommend this company 100% with no reservations.
