Greg the owner came to my house for a leaking toilet.  He assessed it in minutes and fix it within 10 min.  He was very professional and honest.  His prices were better than the big plumbing companies.  I would recommend him highly.

Had a water heater replaced just a few days ago under a homeowners warranty insurance policy.  
Fortunately the insurance company utilizes Big G Plumbing LLC as their plumbing contractor.  I was amazed how professionally, accurately, and fast the work was completed using all quality materials and how well both Alex and Scott handled this job.  Both the scheduling and actual replacement was done better than I could imagine, especially after reading some of the reviews here.
You would never know that the work was done as the clean-up left no hint of the work.  
I am completely happy with the work done, the items used, and the customer service.  I'm a retired mechanical engineer and know a bit about these things.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Their customer service is top notch. They came out and did several plumbing repairs and I was so impressed! Greg is knowledgable, professional and one heck of a plumber! He fixed stuff other plumber said couldn't be done! Thanks Greg! You are ROCK STAR!!!!!

Found Big G thru my home warranty company. The service I needed wasn't covered by my home warranty so I requested that they complete the work and I would pay outside of the warranty. The plumber quoted me a very high price. I asked for a breakdown of the costs and he said the valve he was replacing was $300. I found it online for $50 (Charging me 6 times the cost??) and I asked that if I purchased would they install? They agreed and installed for $100. I had to leave the house during completion of the job so the plumber said he would call me to coordinate payment when the job was complete.

The plumber called and he asked for my credit card number over the phone. I mentioned I'm not comfortable (Who would give someone their credit card number over the phone??) and was wondering if I could mail a check or make payment through paypal or venmo. The plumber had me call the office where I reached the owner, Greg. Greg started yelling at me saying the the job was C.O.D. and if he knew I wasn't going to give my credit card number he would have left the plumber on site demanding payment from me. He insulted me for not being willing to give me credit card number over the phone (I guess this guy hasn't heard of credit card fraud or identity theft before) and refused to give me his mailing address and who to make a check payable. He held me hostage on the phone without providing the info for a few minutes continuing to raise his voice, threaten me, and insult me. I finally told him I was going to hang up and just contact my home warranty company to figure out how to get him payment. He finally gave me his mailing address and who to make the check payable.

I would avoid this company at all cost. The way I was treated by Greg the owner was completely unacceptable and really unnecessary. There are way too many plumbers in this town who do good work and know how to treat their customers. Big G Plumbing is not one of them!

Very fast and friendly customer service. We've used them for a hot water heater replacement at our primary residence and rental property in the past week. Without even asking they took it upon themselves to look into the warranties on both units. One was still under warranty, so needless to say it saved us around $500- thanks guys! We will refer you to anyone who asks and will use you again for all our plumbing needs!

BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They were completely unprofessional and rude. The plumber was careless and spilled drain water everywhere and did not bother to clean it up. They came out for a garbage disposal and left the entire sink flooded!! The sink was working when they came and the plumber tried to leave and say everything was working and when I told him the sink is backed up now he said he didn't care and shrugged his shoulders! I complained to his manager who had the same attitude! There are so many other plumbers DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!

This company was assigned to my through warranty. They show up at my door early this morning for an appointment that is scheduled for next Thursday! When I correct him, he calls his boss because apparently I hurt his feelings. So the owner calls me accusing me of  getting the appointment wrong (which I know is not true since I am not even home this whole week!)  If you cannot keep a simple schedule, then call the customer to yell at him, then expect him to use your company anyway you are sorely mistaken. Based on other reviews looks like I dodged a bullet anyway, so thanks Big G!

We had a great experience with Big G Plumbing. They were sent by our home warranty company as a second opinion. The technician was friendly, professional, and worked quickly. He diagnosed and fixed the problem which the first plumbing company was unable to do.

If you have an emergency, call someone else.  They don't even return phone calls in a timely manner.  They are also unprofessional - borderline snotty - on the phone.  Run!  There are plenty of other better choices out there.

Greg from Big G Plumbing came to repair a faucet in my bathroom that has been problematic. He quickly identified the problem and solved it for us to our complete satisfaction. I highly recommend him!

We purchased a new house, and with it came a home warranty from Fidelity National. We have had very bad experiences in the past with Home Warranty companies, so we were very leary. We had numerous plumbing issues including leaky faucets (11!), Hot water tank failure, and Hot water pump failure. Fidelity sent out Big G Plumbing. We were VERY happy with the service we received from Big G. The gentleman they sent out, Sean, was very professional. He had to order a part, but came back immediately after he received it. Altogether he had to come out 3 times. Each time he was on time, called before he left his previous job so we had 30 min notice that he was coming. He made  sure we knew what was going on at all times, and cleaned up after himself. We are fans of Big G!!!

I got stuck with big g through my warranty company. They've had to come out twice for the same issue and I had to pay $70 service fee both times. Today I inquired as to what the issue was and the tech., Alex, was very rude and acted like he didn't have the time to explain the issue to me. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Big G Plumbing was sent out because I was unable to turn the water off at my clothes washer.  They were great, they called me and scheduled right away. They were on time which is a plus!  

He had to cut into my drywall to fix the problem but it was a small repair and he cleaned it up when he was done.  

This place was amazing, I've worked with plumbing companies in the past and I've had some good experiences, no complaints but I never had my expectations blown away and that is exactly what they provided!

Greg the owner came through big time for us - when our tenant called on Friday saying we had no water in the townhouse we needed someone to come out as soon as possible.  Greg came through, fitting us in his schedule at 6pm on a Friday and was able to fix the issue quickly and prices were VERY reasonable.  I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Greg had great communication the entire time of the process. To even include a week of waiting for the parts he kept in contact the whole time. He even called me to let me know he could come a little bit early. He completed all the repairs and was very helpful. If these are the types of employees Big G has then I give the company as a whole 5 stars. If you had a bad experience ask for Greg next time. We will continue to use them in the future. Thank you!

My wife called them because she thought we had a plumbing leak.  the leak was because he washing machine drain hose had popped out of the drain.  Both my wife and I asked him to check the shut off valves and he politely explained that because he was working for a home warranty company that he was only there to address the leak. It would have taken him 2 minutes to check the valves... he didnt.

I only gave 1 star cuz it won't let me give 0 stars!! The guy was rude, wouldn't listen to me, and threatened to tell the warranty company something that would void my warranty.
Who walks into someone else's house & is rude to them within ONE minute?!?!
The warranty company better not EVER send this clown to my house again!!

I had a kitchen leak and Big G came out to do a home warranty repair. They were so great, super nice, fast, clean and helpful, I hired them to do a faucet upgrade in both bathrooms. The install was so quick, they did a great job, showed up on time and were very professional. I'm very happy with their work, I would highly recommend.

These guys are great. Alex has been out twice for issues I'm having with my on-demand hot water system. He's very nice and very knowledgeable and so is Greg, the owner. I'm having them replace the on-demand with a real hot water heater, and I know in the long run it will be much less of a headache. I totally trust these guys. I'd give more stars if I could.

I have a home warranty, and this is the worst experience I have ever had with one of its contractors. It will take a week for them to call you back. Then another week to get you on their schedule. Pathetic customer service. Oh, and their prices are not competitive either ($2600 for a 50-gallon water heater replacement?!). When your water heater is leaking out of its base, all over the floor of your garage, you do not have two weeks to waste. This company should be avoided at all costs.  We switched to another one.

Pathetically poor customer service from the extremely rude FELICIA who answers the phone at Big G Plumbing.  Today when trying to confirm the time for their arrival and requesting a 30 minutes heads up for their arrival, Felicia told me to JUST BE THERE at the property address and that their technician would call me when he was leaving his prior job and that he would only wait 15 minutes before leaving for the next job if I could not make it to the appointment address (a rental on the other side of town from us, thus the request for a 30 minute courtesy call as we don't live there).  She totally talked over me, raising her voice - telling me that I NEVER asked her when the appointment was initially made (2 weeks ago) for a 30 minutes courtesy call - that I must be mistaken.  So she was calling me a liar.  So unprofessional. WOW~!  Then she promptly hung up on me.  So at that point I didn't know if we still had an appointment or NOT.  I called her right back but she did not answer the phone, so I asked her to call me back and that I felt she owed me a apology for talking over me and hanging up on me when all I was trying to do was obtain their arrival time window.  By the way - this was at 10:45 today and their arrival window today was between noon and 2:00 - so you would think my request would be easy to accommodate since we were so close to the time window.  She treated me like dirt.  Then the owner GREG called me and he said he was canceling our service today, he thought it was best to not service our property.  I'm not sure what his office person FELICIA told him but if he heard her side of the conversation he could only imagine that I was talking as abusively as she was, but I certainly was not.  I am a professional business owner and would immediately FIRE any of our employees who would treat a customer the way FELICIA did.  He chose to be weak and to side with his office person vs. asking me to discuss the situation.  I told him that we were so close to the job being done today, that I just wanted a 30 minute courtesy call, and that I was not understanding why he would cancel the appointment that we had waited 2 weeks for.  Suffice to say that at this point their company is OFF our radar for many reasons, they are a total disappointment for allowing a worker to talk to clients the way FELICIA did today.  I've never left a bad rating for anyone on this site before, but felt compelled to do so since the owner mauled this situation so badly.  Maybe this gal was having a bad day, maybe she treats everyone this way, but there is no excuse for overreacting to such a simple and common request.  So I'm glad to not be working with BIG G PLUMBING after all, as any ongoing warranty or service work would have been nightmarish for sure~!
So be warned people, these are not people you want to do business with.
By the way, this was warranty work through Landmark Home Warranty, and it seems they don't treat warranty calls with any value or respect.  Lesson learned on our end to avoid them at all costs. They don't deserve the one star rating, it should be ZERO.

Big G Plumbing was great to work with! We received service from our through our home warranty. They called to let us know when they would be coming within the two hour window that hey originally gave us. They did great work, and were very accommodating to our requests. We asked them to come in a Friday to remove the broken water heater and come back the next week to install the new one so that we could replace the stand over the weekend. They did this without issue or complaint. I would definitely use them again!

Leaking faucet still leaks 8 months later and still waiting in main valve to be replaced. Never calls back. Owes me $75 the way I see it because I paid that to home warranty and faucet is still leaking. I will have to fix it myself.

I had Greg from Big G Plumbing out to do a multiple repairs through my home warranty. he changed out the kitchen faucet, replaced the bolts to fix a leaky toilet tank, replaced the garbage disposal, and fixed a drip in a shower head. Greg was efficient, knowledgeable, considerate, and an all around good guy. I would definitely use Big G Plumbing again and recommend them to others.

Went through our warranty company and they dispatched Big G. He realized our water heater was under whirlpool warranty. This company worked well with me. I took away 2 stars because they wouldn't take away the big water heater box.

I used them through my home warranty company to inspect my water heater when it quit. They were nice, professional, and replaced my water heater with minimal hassle. My only minor gripe was that they didn't call me to tell me it would be a day late, but it wasn't the end of the world. Overall, nice guys!

When I looked at previous reviews for Big G, I was pretty apprehensive.  However, my experience was entirely different.  I had two plumbing issues that were covered by my Home Warranty.  Big G contacted me within 24 hours and a repairman came out the following day.  He was courteous and fixed my slow drain immediately, and replaced my garbage disposal in 15 minutes.  My experience couldn't have been any better.

Do yourself a favor and if your home warranty company tries to assign this vendor to your plumbing call...CANCEL and request another company.

Not only did it take them a week to respond to the initial issue, it took them 2 more weeks to come back to finish a super easy and routine job that I would have just done myself if I was not out of the county.

They tried to blame their terrible response times on the home warranty company (Uhhhhh....They just approved the repair today!) but the home warranty company had been in contact with me when they actually approved the work so I knew they were total liars. When I called them out on the lie, they got super pissed off at me.

Slow, unprofessional, rude. And milked both me and the home warranty company for an easy job. Avoid

To the company: If you cannot handle home warranty work in a timely manner, do not accept home warranty work!

Big G Plumbing LLC was dispatched by a home warranty company to replace a water heater. When the home warranty company followed up with them, BIg G Plumbing said they had called me several times but I did not answer. I called them back to schedule a time for the service which they scheduled on a Saturday from 9 am to 11 am. The receptionist at Big G Plumbing LLC requested I pay a service fee up front over the phone. That is not standard practice for contractor work in our city. I let her know that the service call fee will be paid at the time of service with cash or check. She still insisted on the payment. I asked if she could take a check over the phone. She said no so I let her know the payment will be available at the time of the service call. Big G Plumbing waited until after business hours to send the dispatch order back to home warranty on a weekend. Then they did not show up for the service call which is when I talked to home warranty and found out they sent the dispatch back because we did not pay a service fee up front. It has taken more than 5 days for this company to complete the work they were contracted to complete. Do not do business with them. There are better companies to work with.

I'm a local handyman and I've had to call on these guys a few times to do jobs that are out of my skill set.
I've never been disappointed. I have a rental property that had quite an extensive drainage issues. 1940's home.. I had to remove double brick to expose the old cast iron pipes in the wall. These guys came out today and before I knew it the job was complete. I just got home and inspected it and the work is outstanding craftsmanship.
I have even recommended them to a few clients of mine and even a neighbor. Once again the work performed was outstanding. My neighbor was very happy with the quality of work and price paid for that work.
I see a lot of electricians and plumbers come and go and I see them rip people off. This company is a company that I trust and would recommend to family and friends without thinking twice about it so you should too.

If i could rate zero stars, I would. I had the unpleasant experience of using this company through my home warranty. Making an appointment with them was a pain and they were very unprofessional yelling at each other from across their office I'm assuming. They called while I was at work and when I called 10 minutes later they told me they couldn't schedule me and they would have to call back. I tried telling them I'm at work and can't answer the phone, so they told me to call when I got off at 4, but no one answered the phone. They finally sent 2 guys out a week later and it was extremely uncomfortable having them in my house. They talked down to me the entire time and ended up calling my warranty company, telling them that I installed something incorrectly. This was untrue and not at all what I told them. They kept blaming me for whatever messed up the pipe. So, I basically paid these horrible people to come into my house, be rude to me, and blame me for the issue. I will continue warning people to stay away from this company.

Assigned to Big G through home warranty. Called to make an appointment as we have no hot water at all. Greg stated it would about a week and they couldn't see us sooner because it wasn't classified as a rush by the warranty company. Call our warranty and they do not offer rush classifications at all. Had it sent to another company.

Don't sign up to do warranty work if you have no intention or desire to do it in a timely manner. When we are out of our warranty we know better than to use this company.
