Bruce and his team are awesome. I'm so glad to have found a local plumber that I can trust.

All of his employees are great, but his one employee (I wanna say Jason?) is a fantastic person-- positive, informative, timely, and has a can-do attitude. He just wrapped up a few jobs at my house (rebuild and reconnect our sink, solve a toilet that wouldn't drain, and replace a sewer exhaust plate. I am so happy to have that stuff fixed.

Yes, they're a small, local company, so you're not going to reach Bruce himself every-time you call. But once you leave your message with the answering service, you're bound to hear back in a timely-ish manner. But do you really want to work with a plumber that has tons of time on his hands to call you back at any hour? Or would you rather work with a company that is so good that they're busy. That being said, the response times are very respectable, and the service is unmatched.

Bruce is generous too. When I bought this house, Bruce was the only plumber I got quotes from that told me it would be a waste of money to get a hard water softener. He clearly described why it would be expensive and a pain to maintain, and that other plumbing companies were overselling the need. He was write, and we haven't had any issues at all with the water hardness. Turns out we were just showering with too high of a temperature, which can cause similar skin reactions as hard water would. Thanks for saving us money Bruce! :)

And then when we do have his team do work, they don't cut corners. I'm very satisfied with the level of craftsmanship of today's job. Also, the guy tested his work multiple times before leaving.

Difficult review. I really like Bruce and his crew. Always professional and  knowledgeable.

Easily could be 5 stars. However, on more than 1 occasion I have waited for a scheduled appointment only to not have them show, not even a phone call.

I understand emergencies come up for them just as they do for a home owner, but a phone call keeping us informed they needed to reschedule would put this back at a 5/5.

This is piss poor customer service.  I called at 9 and gave them all the information.  I was given a promise for a call back soon as possible.  Three hours later I called them again, got the typical we are sorry, we will call you back asap.  An hour later still nothing.  Don't worry, this will get posted in a bunch more places.

I have no idea how their rating is this high and people saying they had service within 15 minutes when I can't get a call back after 4

Fast forward 3 days later, they still never called and we wound up with a full sewer backup.  

Bruce, I'll now vehemently go out of my way to tell people not to use your service

I called to see if they did service in New Jersey and the guy who answered phone was 1. rude and 2. didn't know how to do his job. Maybe you should train the staff to know what areas you service for potential clientele. It was off putting and I wont call them for their services at all.

(5) ~ Excellent Overall Service! Note: We needed some quick fixes per our recent Home Inspection, and Bruce's Team came out and promptly made the fixes in a very friendly manner.  Would definitely recommend and use Bruce's Plumbing again!:)

Bruce is a great guy who does great work if you are lucky enough for him to show up for appointments, so as showing up is part of the job, unfortunately I've gotta give him a low rating.
He's missed two scheduled appointments and I'm now behind the eight ball having plumbing repairs done on my home prior to move-in.  I now need to find a plumber in the last minute, which means I could (and likely will) end up paying too much for less than competent work, which pisses me off.
Far less than ideal and not what I wanted to be dealing with during the stress of the move.

Showed up early, fixed the problem, reasonably priced. Should have called earlier!  Only complaint was the water left on the floor in the basement. But otherwise great - will call them again.

I didn't personally deal with these guys but my wife did. They were very professional and friendly and came quickly. They fixed my leak and didn't browbeat us. Highly recommended.

Bruce gets it.  I used to be a plumber and was working a relatively simple job but running into issues.  I reached out to Bruce's Plumbing & Heating because I was ready to give up and hand it over to the professionals.  Bruce called me back (in less than 5minutes) and walked me through the fix...I'd rather gain a customer than a one-time job.  Thanks Bruce!! You've got a customer for life, that's the type of customer service that's missing in so many other places. -Steve

Bruce came by to reinstall a toilet that was leaking from poor installation.  He did a fantastic job and pointed out all his suggestions for a proper installation.  Bruce and his son are polite and professional.  I would recommend him for any plumbing work.

Called about getting work done for a few minor plumbing repairs.  Bruce tells me he will be out the next day between 9:30-11:00 AM.  I call their office about 1:30 PM to ask if anyone is still planning on coming out.  The woman who answers the phone asks me to repeat all of the information I have already shared and unapologetically tells me someone will call me back.  Never received a return phone call.  Wasted an entire day waiting for a plumber that showed up or called back.

Highly recommend.  Bruce was super helpful and very knowledgable.  He and his guys were wonderful, do great work and at a good price.  Will use him for all plumbing and heating work. Very reliable. He's awesome!

We had a frozen pipe/burst issue because of the inclement weather. I called Bruce and he returned my call back and looking at the urgency of the situation, he told me that someone from his team would be at our place soon. Ryan and Taylor showed up soon and started working right away. They worked for almost 10 straight hours until 1 am finding out and fixing every leak in the water pipe and hot water pipes in the baseboard heater. I can confidently say that they were highly knowledgeable and skillful with lots of experience as they kept referring to some of their past works. We felt really bad for them as more and more leaks kept popping up and it was already too late. However, they were determined to at least get us our heat back before they left for the night which they accomplished. I highly appreciate their work ethics and would definitely hire them again for any future issues. We have been using them since for any plumbing/heating relates issues.

Called to have someone come out and check out our two toilets that had ever-decreasing water levels in the bowls.  Bruce called back with a possible solution and solved the issue over the phone!  Will definitely be using him for future issues.

Bruce came recommended by a friend who had used his services before. Like some others my first interaction with Bruce was over the phone - he walked me though a plumbing problem I had; avoiding the need for an actual visit. Bruce has since helped me with a faulty water heater and replacing a garbage disposal. Bruce and his team are responsive and efficient.

we met bruce two years ago when we needed a backflow check for the water company.we found him to be extermely friendly and helpful.the other day,i had a minor(major to me)plumbing situation-i called bruce who told me how i could fix the problem myself if i wanted to( i didn't) what plumber does that??he came within an hour fixed it no muss no fuss and charged me next to nothing.bruce and his crew are outstanding,clean repectful and just basically all around good people.i would recommend him to any one...
