Waited all day for them to return my phone call and they never did. After I called back, front desk lady seemed annoyed and said she'll call back with a quote. Next day, after I called, lady said the quote for the job was $500+materials in that same annoyed voice. I knew this was just a way to get rid of me since they didn't even come out to see the problem like they said they had to, to be able to estimate property. Thank you for not helping me out with my broken water valve. Never calling them again!

Royal Flush plumbing is amazing! They completely saved my ass! I had a crisis that needed to be solved in a very short window of time and they went well out of their way to make the fix. They are professional, incredibly helpful, and really nice to deal with.  I wish all of my experiences with plumbers  was as good as Royal Flush! Kim, thank you!!!

Great service! Nobody else could come out when we had a bathtub leaking through the floor. Everyone else wouldn't be out for 4-5 days, even the shops with emergency services.  Office staff was great and Ricardo our plumber was excellent!! Identified a tough issue and got it fixed very efficiently! Thanks Royal Flush!

Best service!! Had an emergency on Saturday. Austin came out quickly and fixed it easily.  They were great dealing with my home warranty. I felt completely comfortable having Austin in my home. When we had a related issue a few days later he came back out and fixed it also.  I Definitely recommend these guys!

Just had a new toilet installed & a broken one removed smoothly & professionally.  It was a pretty straight forward job, but Eric & Brock were courteous, fast, clean & helpful beyond the minimum requirements and Kim was a pleasure to deal with on the phone as well.

What an excellent company. Eric called and asked if could arrive a bit early, showed up as promised, took care of our valve replacements and dishwasher supply line. He left the areas where he worked neater and cleaner than he found them.  This experience prompted us to pull the trigger on our long talked about plan to someday replace replacing out very dated faucets throughout the house. We will be calling them back after the holidays to get that going.

Found a water line break on Sunday evening.  Called Royal Flush and asked them to call first thing on Monday.  They did so and showed up early.  They found and fixed the problem in no time at a reasonable cost.  We had used them before and were impressed then.  Recommended!

Had a great experience with Ted and his crew.  During the inspection period on our house, they found a hole in the sewer line, in a precarious place (50' tree on top of the sewer line).  Ted came out and checked the job prior to sending us the bid, said he would be able to do the job and save the tree.  Crew came out as scheduled, job was a little more complex but they stuck to their price and got the job done in a timely manner.  They also did all the work on getting the proper permits and inspections!

I can't say enough good about Royal Flush. Austin was considerate, knowledgeable, and quick in his repairs. He was very good about explaining the problem, how to fix it, and troubleshooting any further concerns. Excellent prices, so very well worth the money. I will definitely use them for anything else I may need.

I had them come out for a leak under my sink. And to their credit he was out here very quickly and did good work. I knew it was just some tightening of the older pipes that were under the sink that I was having a difficult time doing myself. I also had a plug in a new garbage disposal that I installed about a month that I didn't know about which was causing my dishwasher to back up. Anyway, he knocked out the plug and tightened the pipes under the sink. Was here for 30 minutes and charged me the minimum charge - which was $375. I almost fell over. I get a minimum service charge of $150 or so, but $375??? I know things are getting more expensive, but this was complete gouging if you ask me. Make sure you ask what they are charging. I made the mistake and didn't. There are far too many other plumbers out there that don't charge anywhere near that much for a minimum service call.

Horrible work and WAY overpriced and totally unprofessional.  We had a new sink & countertop installed so needed the sink attached to the existing plumbing, re-hookup of the dishwasher, hotwater dispenser, and refrigerator ice dispenser lines.  Instead of using a plumbing hole drill for the new drain pipe he hacked out a ragged gash with a sawsall in the new cabinetry. Then busted out the back drywall leaving the water lines dangling from another jagged hole.  What plumber doesn't have a plumber's hole drill set?  He also replaced our copper pipe with plastic without discussing first.  I understand plastic is easier and cheaper but certainly expected to be asked first given the environmental concerns.  Then when I called to complain no one called me back as promised.  A week later the bill arrived twice as much as was originally quoted, and without any detail as to what I was being charged for.  Upon further inquiry I was told I was being billed flat rates for each step ($150 just to attach the refrig. ice tubing to the new water supply, something I previously had done myself in 15 minutes!)  For less than 4 hrs work I was billed $860.  And was told that their professional practice is to automatically replace all supply lines with plastic.  None of which was disclosed in advance.

The person who answered the phone was patient and helpful. The two men who came were quick in their work and very kind to us. They were thorough in their inspection, as well as the follow-up. I am very pleased with the quality of the work performed and appreciate the time they took to explain everything to me.

We used this plumbing service a couple of times in the past and were very pleased; however, things have changed.  I am now a widow and feel they really stuck it to me.  I had a leak in a bathroom faucet.  My bathroom has two faucets.  Long story short--the plumber could not fix the leak, the faucet could not be matched with the good one, so I ordered 2 new Delta faucets upon the advice of the plumber.  One of the faucets had a defective handle, so Delta sent  new one.  The plumber came back and put on the new handle.  Total price for this job--$1,050, plus the cost of the new faucets, $270!!  I feel that I was really taken advantage of.  I am an 85 year old widow, but not senile!   This really makes me furious at myself for not getting a quote first.  Having had good experiences with them in the past, I never gave it a thought.
I will never recommend this company.again.
I give them 2 stars because the plumber was nice.

DONT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. These guys are criminals. They gave me an estimate of what they thought the work would be but only spent a few hours before deciding the extra work wasn't necessary. Instead of adjusting the bill to reflect the work they actually did, they held to the obscenely high estimate. I paid them a reasonable fee (like 500$ per hour) but they wouldn't budge from their original estimate. Then they had a lawyer sue me for the balance.

Ted gave a bid for the water line replacement as I had been getting bids for the past 6 weeks and waiting for other companies to start the work. The work was completed in 2 days and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this company and plan to keep them in my contacts for future plumbing issues. Extremely satisfied customer! Patty

I had a bad experience today with Royal Flush Plumbing had been experiencing some leakage from an outdoor spigot, and through the pipe on the inside of the house   So I called Royal Flush Plumbing, on the basis of recommendations on Next Door, and asked if I could get an estimate for addressing this problem, and was told no, and was also told on the basis of the problem I described that it could cost somewhere between $400 - $800.   I live alone, am on a fixed income, and I am not handy with things like this.

The plumber was on time, professional, and honest.  I trusted his diagnosis, and his recommendations.  But I am VERY upset that I was not informed in advance that the minimum service call would run me $385, for what in the end amounted to tightening some seals in the piple with a wrench.  I relayed my dismay to the plumber and told him I should have been informed by the person who scheduled the appointment.  When I tried to call her back to complain and was upset, she refused to hear me out and hung up on me.  Very bad customer service.  I don't recommend them for this reason.

The service itself was fine, they came out relatively quickly and did the job, hence the 2 stars. The cost and value are atrocious however. They were here for 30 minutes and charged me $450. I get that things are expensive these days, but almost $1000 an hour seems ridiculous. I could've understood $200 an hour with a one our minimum or something, but this was over the top.  Neither the scheduler nor the guys that came onsite mentioned anything about the cost being so high (or anything about cost for that matter). Obviously shame on me too for not asking, that won't happen again. Lots of plumbers out there, I would choose another if I were you.

Generally disappointed in the service after reading so many great reviews. We had a clogged kitchen sink. I was told that the minimum charge would be $200 but they'd assess the situation and do their best to work within that. Two people came out from the company and immediately started to snake the drain. When they couldn't clear the blockage they grabbed the scope (without telling me this would be an additional charge) to try and identify the problem. They traced the issue to the pipe downstairs and let me know they'd have to remove some drywall. Again, without discussing the plan or additional costs they cut out a section of pipe that contained the clog, which released putrid water into the laundry room. They proceeded to clean up the mess with a tool from our garage (without asking) by scraping the water and clog remnants into the floor drain. Once the pipe had been repaired they finished cleaning up and collected payment. $325 with zero explanation or itemized accounting of the additional costs. What dropped this from 3 stars to 2 is that they forgot to reconnect the cold water supply line under the sink! So when we turned the sink on we had a nice amount of water flooding the kitchen. I called them back to fix it (rather than reconnecting myself) because I wanted them to check the rest of their work to make sure it was done correctly. They came back within the hour to fix the mistake but didn't check anything else that they did, even after I asked them to. Bottom line: nice technicians, friendly and responsive dispatch, but overpriced and a bit amateur.

Bad experience. We called multiple times to schedule. Finally told they would come on a Thursday, then they showed up a day early at the last minute. While fixing the sewer pipe, they cut our water main, then called us urgently to adjust the bid so we would have to pay for it! We asked why we should pay for their damage, and they offered us 100 dollars off (2000 dollar upcharge to fix the pipe). We had no choice as our house was selling and we needed water. Our realtor had recommended them, and said they are normally friendly, but on our project were gruff and surly. They got cement and dirt on my daughter's organic garden (easily movable if it was in their way), and I had a tearful toddler when I wouldn't let her eat the contaminated tomatoes. We contacted a lawyer about getting our money for the water main back, and he said by the time legal fees were paid, it's hardly worth pursuing. Encouraged us to write an honest review instead. Additionally, they put our realtor signpost back in the ground without securing it, causing it to fall over in the night and cause several dents to the hood of my car. And to top it off, when we next pulled into our driveway, we noticed the sewer vent was installed 8 inches above ground, in the driveway. We didn't know that, so we ran over it and broke it (it was in the driveway!). We had to fix it ourselves, and it makes the driveway unusable due to poor location. Would not recommend this company.

Royal Flush provided great, quick service.
We had a sudden loss of hot water pressure to all our hot water taps.  I posted a message to Royal Flush via their web page late in the evening.  They called promptly the next morning, and Weston was on site within an hour.
The repair was done on that first visit.  It was all very professionaly done, and we'll definitely be using Royal Flush again.

Needing a plumber is often an emergency. I discovered water dripping under my house in Happy Valley. Very thankful that the nice people at Royal Flush Plumbing were able to get a plumber out the same afternoon.
Repairs were made in two areas with better updated water pipe materials than the old PVC pipe and glues.
When I discovered further leaking same evening, John the Plumber, was back the next morning make the repairs.
Thanks John and the Royal Flush!

I am a realtor with a Pending Sale and just finished a big sewer fix with Royal Flush Plumbing.  I can't say enough good about these fine gentlemen.  We were working on a complicated job with a punctured sewer line alongside (the city of) Oregon City to figure out what utility was responsible for the puncture.  They took great pride in the excavation (down seven feet!) and ensured the grass and landscaping stayed intact.  Their communication was superb.  We had several people on the job site so it was as transparent as possible.  This could put off some contractors, but Teddy welcomed it and helped us to photograph and get video of the issue. By days end, you couldn't even tell they were there, (with the exception of the piece of missing sidewalk that had to be removed for the excavation and re-poured the following day.)  The city works with Teddy regularly on projects and it was a tremendous benefit that they have this existing working relationship helping everything to go so smoothly.  The city even helped connect us with the responsible utility; they were called out the same day and will be billed for the work directly.  This job could have been a big, miserable shit-show and instead it went off without a hitch ending with a happy buyer and seller ultimately getting this home sale to the finish line.  I would recommend Teddy and his crew without hesitation.

Selling a home is known to be one of life's most stressful events.  As the owner of a 1909 home I was understandably concerned about the sewer inspection.  When the buyer's scope went awry (camera would only go five feet into clean out) I had the arduous task of finding someone to remedy that. I hired two more companies to scope that had better luck but still could not get a complete reading.  A surprise cesspool was discovered in the process. That new detail along with knowing the line connected to the public sewer was from 1918 added a new level of stress to the situation.

Getting a definitive bid was impossible - there was no way to know what needed to be done before digging.  The minimum costs I was given before the possible extras were already scarily high.  Aside from costs there were several other questions that neither company was able to answer and it was mentioned my concrete driveway may need to be excavated.  I felt one more opinion was needed.  Luckily I was referred to Royal Flush by someone who had used them for a sewer line and was very happy with their work.  After a detailed phone discussion with Ted the owner I was able to quickly get a solid bid that was very reasonable and set up an appointment for the work in two days. I've never been so happy to see a worker! Ted was friendly, confident and focused giving me assurance that all would be okay. He had no trouble scoping the entire line - something the other THREE companies could not do.  To my relief demolishing the driveway was not needed.  Ted's crew was meticulous, tidy and fast.  The sewer line was replaced and the cesspool seamlessly decommissioned in just a few hours.

Property owners know that uneasy feeling that comes with a major home repair.  The unknowns can keep you awake at night. There's much time invested in researching and hunting down the right person to do the job. You hope you can trust what you've been told and the cost won't be outrageous. An ethical plumber is a rare phenomenon in my personal experience.  I really lucked out in finding someone with the knowledge and skills that Ted has for this daunting repair. Needless to say I'm a very satisfied customer and will only be using Royal Flush for my plumbing needs from now on.

Had a previous estimate from a plumber to a problem with kitchen sink in my Portland house.  After they got their snake stuck in the drain they gave me an estimate of $7,800 to redirect the pipes in the crawl space.  Royal Flush gave me a $3,000 estimate for exactly the same job.  Casey and Eric came out yesterday, made the fix, cleaned up, all in under 3 hours.  Oh yeah, the previous plumber said it would take 1-2 days to do the job.  Fast, efficient, fair price.  Definitely would recommend Royal Flush again if the need were to arise.
