I called around 11, my garbage disposal had a nasty leak because the seals had broken and it needed to be replaced. They had Jim to my house around 130 and my new disposal was installed by 3. I thought the quote initially sounded a little high but ran comps using a website. The Rooter Work's quote actually came in on the low end for the replacement at least in my area. Jim was efficient, pleasant and clearly knowledgeable. He took time to answer our questions about the best ways to clean disposals. Overall, this was the best plumber experience I've had in a very long time. Thanks Rooter Works!!!

Rooter Works overcharged about 400%, realizing I was having balance problems and am 92 years old. I had earlier been knocked unconscious and purse stolen. Rooter WorksLLC arrived instead of Roto Rooter,( which I thought I was calling, at $97.00 cost.) I got bill for $400 for ceiling pipe splice . Another $400 for clearing drain , which had been just cleaned by shower installer, but wasn't fully cleared. Rooter Works had that cleaned in less than a half hour with a hand held tool. I signed bill in confusion, but realized next morning what I had done and tried to correct it, but didn't reach them.
1. Water leaking under our floor in utility room and thought it was hvac but was told by tech it was not. So we called this company to detect the leak and repair (we have a slab home no basement). When I called -the secretary answered and I said I needed leak detection and she said our company does not do leak detection I said well your website says that's what you guys do you detect leaks and repair. She said let me check with my supervisor she came back on the phone and said I'm sorry we do do leak detection and will send somebody out between the hours of 8 and 12 the next day. At 11 AM the next day no one had arrived and no one called so I called to see where the technician was and they said they are repairing a sewer line as soon as they are finished they will be on their way. By 2PM no one had called or shown up so I called again they said you're next in line and we will call you when he's on his way at 2:50 they called and said Sal is on his way and should be there soon. At 4:15 sal arrives. He was coming from a place 30 minutes away??? I proceeded to tell him the problem and show him where the water is leaking and the first thing he says to me is I am going to knock out the drywall behind your washer and dryer I said you're most certainly not going to do that I said I thought you guys had equipment to detect exactly where the leaking pipe is located he said I am going to run some tests and tell you -I saw no equipment I saw him do nothing then he went out to his van he came back in and went into the closet behind the washer and dryer felt the carpet and said this is where your leak is coming from I'm going to jackhammer the concrete and will find the pipe that is broken. I'm thinking to myself I guess he knows what he's talking about he's a plumber and sees this all the time even though he didn't do any leak detection with any equipment. I called the insurance company and got the OK but they said do not start the repair until an actual insurance adjuster comes out and looks at the damage. This was a Thursday, the adjuster was not coming out until Friday so I told Sal we will start the repairs on Monday. I then was going to proceed to pay him for the diagnostic he couldn't get his iPad to work he couldn't take the payment so I ended up having to talk to somebody on the phone. Fast forward to Monday. The office called at 8:30 in the morning stating Sal will be out within the hour at 9:35 the office calls and says Sal has been in a fender bender as soon as we get another technician we'll send them to your house around 11 o'clock another technician finally shows up (dennis) I tell him what happened with Sal on Thursday and what he was going to do and Dennis said did you actually have a leak detection company come out and pinpoint the leak I said you have got to be kidding me I said I thought that's what your company did last week. Even tho Sal had no testing equipment which I thought was odd but I'm not a plumber. I told Dennis that when I originally called to set up the appointment the secretary told me that the company did not do leak detection but when she asked the supervisor he said yes they did. Dennis then said what they should've told you was our office in Columbus does leak detection but our office in Cleveland does not. Dennis went on to say that he is not going to jackhammer any of the concrete anywhere because he does not know where any of the pipes are located and then he went on to say that Sal was actually not in a fender bender rather he was fired and that is why he did not show up this morning. The amount of hassle headache and negligence (except for Dennis) this company had given us is beyond reproach. If I wasn't so exasperated I would sue for negligence. By the fate of the gods thank goodness this company didn't send Sal out to jackhammer our home and cause even worse damage. Thank goodness for honest people like Dennis who talked to me extensively to calm me down. I can't recommend them
Had the pleasure of having Brian Merrill out to give us a few estimates. He was super helpful and wasn't pushy at all definitely will be giving him a call once we decide on which project to knock out first

We are new homeowners who have had to make use of the Rooter Works services multiple times. The technicians here know what they are doing, they are friendly and polite, and amazingly helpful. I recently had Robert and his partner come by and resolve a plumbing issue for us after a new toilet install and he resolved the issue for us right away. With professionals like him on the staff, we will continue to use this service to suit our needs. Big thanks to you guys!
The delivery crew for our new dishwasher wouldn't do the installation because the old one was hooked up directly to copper piping. Rooter Works sent Cody out first thing next morning and we got the new one installed. Cody ran into a lot of problems because of the way the old one was installed, but worked through them consistently without complaint and even hauled away the old one for us. The job was tougher than expected but they stuck to the agreed upon price without issue. Thank you Cody!
We had an appointment booked for two weeks. Called at 2pm on a Friday to cancel. Completely unreliable.

Can't rate their service or prices, they never showed. We chose them because they were local. Waited for 3-3.5 hrs. for service person on Friday afternoon. Called them back and they advised they'd called us twice to announce arrival, said we were re-booked for Monday. Verified phone number we'd given them. Phone rep was polite enough. Does everybody have call logging on their cell and/or VoIP phones at home?

Needed a new hot water heater. It was a Saturday and I figured I couldn't get a tech out until during the week. I was so impressed that I was able to get a technician out within hours of calling and he could actually replace it the same day. Thank you BB. Great job and great price.
Tough to not give this one a great review... Needed a simple water heater fix. Carl (my technician) was on time... clean... professional... efficient and extremely personable. Walked me through my options... didn't pressure at all. Very satisfied... thx Carl...

I needed to install a new dishwasher in place of old uninstalled. Called Rooter Works to get an estimate, was told that estimates not given over phone, scheduled an appointment, tech came to our house and estimated the dishwasher installation at $450.00(??), all parts I have provided, this price for connecting two hoses, drain. and water. Unbelievable!!
Twenty four hours ago we put in a call. Rooter works said they would be there this morning. We followed up mid-day and they said they would be on site soon. It is 6:00 pm and they just called to say they wouldn't make it until Tuesday (today is Friday), which means I get to pay someone else for an overtime call. Terrible service.
Called in a panic the Friday before a holiday weekend, after calling a few other places who couldn't get me in until Tuesday. Rooter offered to place me on their list as they too, were busy. They were very transparent about their volume of calls today, but assured me they would try. They kept in contact with me all day, and had someone to my house by 3pm. The technician was an honest guy, who knew his stuff and wasn't trying to sell us crap. He was friendly and professional. I will definitely be using this company again for my plumbing needs.
** UPDATE **
Three trips to the hardware store and 4 hours later, I just paid $650 for a wax seal replacement. I also have a gaping hole in my ceiling. Technician was nice however, I just got screwed out of hundreds of dollars for a quick fix. Am yet to receive my electronic receipt.
Brian came to my house the morning after I called in with a busted hot water heater. I was worried about the quote from some reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Also Brian was very nice, professional and obviously cares about what he's doing. Will definitely be using them next time I have the need. Thanks Brian!

We've lived in Marysville for almost 28 years -- The Rooter Works and Drains clearly hearkens back to the days of , not what can we sell you, but what do you need, AND, how can we best assist? Today I called and Danielle provided an expeditious response to a request, asked for a quote, and was able to resolve our issues AND, with a quick consult from the plumber (Brandon) I identified how I could resolve another issue on my own (and an offer from Brandon to come back if I needed a hand with it. Alex and his team are assuredly carrying on the fine tradition of Bunsold Heating. Highly recommend.

Complete waste of my time they rescheduled 3 times on me and when they finally came guy had a major attitude and gave me a estimate of $1700 to change a kitchen sink and faucet RIDICULOUS!! Horrible customer service called another company they did it less than 3 hours and only charged me 500 for that same job BEWARE they will rip you off!!

Had our well pump go out just before going on vacation and were completely out of water. We really feared it was going to need redug. Their team figured out a work for a new pump around saving us thousands, and even did the work while we were gone.

Really great service. They came very quickly to fix a stubborn showerhead. The tech came faster than expected and done in about 15 minutes. Really liked it and will use them again in the near future for any future needs we have!
Courteous staff. Technician knew exactly what the problem was and made the repair. They were late due to a more urgent repair but kept me informed
Installed my water heater. The installer explained my new water heater. Very friendly and courteous. Cleaned up the area before he left.
Side note: purchased water heater from HD and the installation. Not sure if they work outside of Home Depot but I'd hire them again if needed.
The worst, most unprofessional group of plumbers! Was told all this stuff I would need to fix the problem and told 2 to 3 people would be here the next morning, when only 1 showed up and didn't want to do the job. After several calls to see where they where finally did something. They wanted to charge over $1,000 and try to sell more products. Thankfully the problem has been resolved without their lack of help.

I had my shower drain break in my bathroom and called several companies and they by far had the best price and service. Angel was professional, courteous and got the job completed quickly. I had four quotes from Eco Plumbers at $1000, Rescue Rooter was was $1200, Mr. Rooter was $650 and they got it completed for $400.
I appreciate Chad's integrity after recognizing he missed something about the thermocouple on my water heater, and was honest about telling me about it. I think some customers are concern about getting taken advantage of and I am no different. Chad did great job Thank you for serving the community.

Very overpriced. I was charge $400 for them just checking the drain. Not fixing them but just checking. I am very dissatisfied.
I was charged over $300 to have my drain snaked. That is an absurd amount for the short time that they were there. I suggest using someone cheaper. It's as though they know you need this service so they charge exorbitant prices

We had a clogged bathtub drain and had 2 plumbers come out and try to open it. Both told us that it was impossible to unclog and that we would need major construction (and major money) spent to fix our problem. We called The Rooter Works Plumbing, and they quickly sent out Jerrod and Jeb. They immediately got to work and were able to have it fixed in about 10 minutes. They truly saved us! I can't say enough about their professionalism, knowledge, and customer service. They will be the first and only plumbers we call in the future! Save yourself a lot of time and headaches and call this company first.
Great service from this company! Our sump pump (along with everyone else's! LOL!) died from our recent rains and our basement was damp with a little bit of standing water here and there from where our sump pump well overflowed. My husband called them and they came out the same day to replace our sump pump. The tech that came out, Derek (forgive me if I spelled his name wrong!), was extremely nice and polite and replaced it very quickly. He was in & out in maybe an hour? It was quick. Plus, their prices seemed to be reasonable. All of the other places that my husband called couldn't get here for 2 or 3 days to replace it. So, I would highly recommend them.

I am a recently retired general contractor and got an estimate to repair a leak under a kitchen sink. The part actually cost about $10. It also included rooting the drain line 50' they included for some reason changing the basket strainer. The total was $1319. On one of the estimates just changing two angle stops was $500. Angle stops are those are the little valves under the sink or behind a toilet, they cost about $8 and with two crescent wrenches both can be replaced under a sink in about ten minutes. They also gave several other estimates for things they weren't called for, I have no problem with that. But the prices they were quoting was about 10 times what I was charging three years ago. Literally I estimated they were attempting to make over $900/hr on a variety of things. They were also attempting to double charge at their ridiculous rates by quoting for the same work on different lines just wording it a little differently and charging a completely different price for the same work. I have seen some outrageous prices from subcontractor estimates before but nothing like this. I extrapolated out they must expect to make almost $2,000,000 per employee per year.

Yes, they are a little pricier than some other places, but always check their website for a coupon (I found one for $100 while he was doing the work), and they came out within three hours of me calling. I'm old, and when the person setting up the appointment asked if I wanted the worker to wear a mask, I said yes, and James (Blankenship) absolutely did, as well as cleaned the sink after he unclogged it and was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely call them again.
Required outdoor outlets replaced and went with Rooter Works for an electrician. They responded quickly to assess the work and returned quickly to complete the job. Appreciate the speedy response and will use them again on future project. Thanks
Set up an appointment for them to come fix leaky pipes on equipment they installed a little more than a year ago. It happens to be the water softener and was rudely informed they don't work on water softeners but would be happy to replace it. I had to explain, it's the pipes going into the device that are leaking. Set up an appointment and was told they would be here sometime between 8 a.m. and noon and would call about 30 minutes prior to their arrival. When 11:30 rolled around I called the office to find out if my appointment had been cancelled. I was asked where did you get that information as you're still on the schedule. I told her as it was after 11:30, they certainly would not be here before noon and she indicated the time provided was just an estimate. Unfortunately when the appointment was made nobody indicated they will be there sometime between 8 and whenever. I told her I really had to return to work at which time she says OK. I'll cancel your appointment. No offer to reschedule. No apologies for running late. No pre-call to say our technicians are behind schedule and will be there by ____________. Worst Customer Service. No, I take that back. No Customer Service skills whatsoever. I always felt like these folks had something else to do and I was being a bother. I fear at some point the owners are going to wonder where their business has gone and won't realize it left because of their front-office.

Fritz Baumann & Sons fixed my water heater. The technician at The Rooter works didn't even try to fix the water heater. He tried to upsell me on a new one.
