When we bought the 19th century townhouse in Brooklyn plumbing was the main issue.

The boiler looked like it would explode at any moment, there was a weird second water heater kind-of hooked in, the sewer cleanout was all wrong, there were multiple fire dangers in the way things were vented to the chimney, and all showers/tubs had various issues.

Parkset came in with a very reasonable bid. The work was done quickly, with great quality and communication. It was such a good experience, I called them back for a couple more projects.

I know that COVID had made it difficult for most businesses to stay afloat. No pun intended but I thought Parkset plumbing would be my go to company for me and my neighbors needs but this business have a very rude and very unprofessional individual answering the phone and keeping someone on hold for long periods of time or disconnecting the call I don't and won't beg anyone to take my hard earned money during these over price and hard times. Park at not only have you lost two customers you lost many more because when it comes to suggesting a company I will warn them they are not reliable professional or trustworthy . COVID will be a semi thing of the past but you will realize that word of mouth is the best and worse form of advertising!

We've had occasion to use Parkset several times recently, once to replace a shower, another to fix a leaky faucet, and another to replace an aging hot water heater. They were quick to set up a visit and to do the work, and at a reasonable price (half what a leading competitor quoted). Everything was done quickly and well. The technicians they sent were all skilled and friendly. Will definitely call them again.

This guy is a tiger, a bear, an angel?!

Picture this: water is spewing into our basement, geyser style, through our shared neighbor-wall from their basement into ours. What's in the water is anyone's guess. This goes on for days, weeks, a month now. We are in tense negotiations with our neighbors. Our basement wall is turning in the Gaza Strip. Calls to DEP ensue, stress is mounting. Tom  waltzes in, calls our neighbor sweetie and with in an hour our neighbors call to apologize! They have a clear action plan to resolve their leak. Couldn't be a happier customer! Amen!

I've used Parkset for years in now two apartments/locations around Brooklyn. I've always found them communicative, easy to schedule and the plumbers they send are great.

UPDATE: after seeing the below review, the owner called me and tried to bully me into taking it down. Fun fact #1: mold concerns were never brought up until the owner called me trying to rationalize why his team wouldn't do the work. If there were mold concerns, then they should have communicated that there were mold concerns -- instead they said they had asbestos and lead concerns (in a building that's less than 10 years old). Sounds like he was fishing for an excuse. Fun fact #2: Bullying people is the behavior of a coward.

I stand by my original review. 100%

Issue: I have a leak originating somewhere under my tub/shower that drips onto the downstairs neighbor's bathroom ceiling anytime we run a bath. It was fixed by another plumber a month ago, but now the issue is back and worse than ever. I called ParkSet to diagnose/fix the issue based on the reviews I saw here.

They get one star because they actually showed up (and because I can't go lower than one star).

They lose 4 stars because:
1) when they originally showed up [a week ago] the plumber said he hadn't been told that he would need to open up the ceiling in the downstairs neighbor's apartment, and so he didn't have the tools necessary. Instead of going to get those tools [which he clearly needs to do his job], he insisted I reschedule. I did reschedule and waited another week.
2) when the rescheduled appointment happened today, a new set of guys showed up. My downstairs neighbor said they seemed pissed that the last guys didn't open up the ceiling and they said the first crew just left it for him to do. My neighbor says (and i quote) It seemed like he just didn't want to do the work. Then the new plumber got on the phone with me and said he doesn't have the tools necessary to open the ceiling. Sounds suspicious and lazy and super unprofessional. I asked him to go get the tools needed and come back because i'm not rescheduling a third time. Do these people not communicate with each other!? THEN I asked the plumber to have his supervisor call me.
3) A guy named Ronny called (his supervisor? I dunno) and said flat out that he refuses to have his guys open the ceiling because there's a baby in the apartment. I asked for more clarity on why -- dust? noise? He said because of possible lead and asbestos issues and he refuses to be liable for that. I explained that this isn't an old building; in fact, the entire complex was built less than 10 years ago. He was quiet for a second, admitted that there would not be lead or asbestos issues, but STILL refused to open the ceiling to diagnose the problem. What the actual f*ck.
4) as a possible alternative, the plumbers said they could remove the side panel of the tub and try to see if they can see any issues. I agreed. Then they called back AGAIN saying they can't remove the side panel because there's a rusty screw. Are you kidding me? I'm no expert, but even I know there are ways to remove rusty screws. But I guess that was also too much work for them because they just left without doing a damn thing.

How are these people even in business?! It's mind boggling to me.

STAY AWAYYYYYY.

I had a leak in my plumbing right after the water main shutoff valve in the house, and as fate would have it the leak got worse right after a big snowstorm. I called no less than 5 plumbers and even when I finally got the attention of one of them they scheduled me 3 times and never showed up any of those times. Then I called Parkset. Tom diagnosed the problem and a few hours later dispatched a team, which was Ray and Junior. They spent a considerable amount of time with the fitting, and eventually got it repaired. The cost was quite reasonable. They were also able to give me some advice about preventative maintenance.

Don't mess around. Call Parkset first!

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! Worst company ever! I called them on Wednesday knowing they have good reputation on yelp for a service call at my juice bar. The 3 compartment sink in the kitchen was leaking and needed to be fixed and I also had a problem with the cold water. They charged me $212 for claiming they fixed problems in the same day but yesterday the same sink started leaking again and we still have the same problem with the cold water. I called them for a call back, the same guy showed up again and said I need to pay another $212 to fix the same problem that he already fixed!!! Outrageous service I wouldn't recommend nobody to work with this company scam scam scam!

In response to your comment you never stated that the pipes are not working properly you just came and replaced something that should've been replaced and could be sealed easily! when I called you guys back to take a look at what you guys did you told me that I need to pay you another $195 to replace another item that wasn't needed to be replaced! After you guys left I called a different plumber to look at the problem and he fixed the issues without replacing the existing pipes nor the part you guys wanted to replace so spare me the talk about you guys being 50 years in the business and train you technicians to work more professionally! Good luck to you!

ParkSet replaced my broken waste pipe. The repair was OK, but not the condition they left my home in. Yes, it's a messy job no matter what. But they did nothing to prevent sewage/water from gushing on my things.  I dashed in w/buckets, which they disdained. I had asked about moving my things out from under the pipes, which they had also disdained. I had to throw out a cabinet, it was so damaged by them. Why didn't they move it, as it was directly under the pipe they would remove? Instead, they cut the pipes on the marble top, and the cabinet was full of pipe rust and pieces.
The boss told them to clean up when I called in. They didn't and I just wanted them out of my house!

Here's what I look for in a master plumber: Honesty, integrity, professionalism, straight-forwardness and most importantly - knowledge and experience. Tom from ParkSet Plumbing delivered all that and more, at a cost that was reasonable and fair given his level of expertise. I appreciated his attention to detail, but also his ability to explain in easy-to-understand terms what he was doing every step of the way.
For my particular issue (ConEd gas meter), after finishing his work at my house, he was able to forecast what he thought I could expect when dealing with ConEd moving forward and he was completely right.
Tom is a master at his trade, and I feel 100% confident recommending his services, as well as his team, to others.  I only want the best at their trades working on my house, and when it comes to local master plumbers-- I believe I've found just that.

Beware of unfair pricing. Made calls to 10 plumbers to price out the disconnect, removal and reconnect of two sinks and faucets as I was replacing countertops. Everyone was in the range of $280-500 all in and these guys quoted $1250 plus parts.

We just did an oil to gas conversion with Parkset and it was a great job. We did it from scratch which means I had to get National grid to run a gas line from the street to our house (that experience which is ongoing and nothing to do with Parkset is horrendous)
Tom and Afrodite did a wonderful job answering all our questions and after everything was done they even called us to make sure that National grid did their part. The work done was neat and thorough and we are very happy with our new furnace and water tank!

There was a crack in the sewer pipe. It never came to be an issue until the drain was clogged and smelly water started to appear. I called around only to get the answer that nothing was available until next week. This, until I got in touch with Gladstone at Parkset Plumbing. Not only was he available, he showed up when I was told he should, all the time. He came and made an estimate, cost and time. He and his guys showed up the next morning on time. In a few hours, the leak was fixed. He, not only, fixed the leak, he corrected a plumbing error made many years ago which had prevented a correct cleanout of the sewer system. The next day, again at the time I was told they were going to show up. I will keep their phone number on file and, if I ever get any plumbing issues again, I will give them a call. Friendly, knowledgeble, and reasonably priced, all the good thing. Yes, I will recommend them to my friends.

Parkset was wonderful to work with. The admin / routing team was super  responsive and professional and our plumbers always arrived on time. I found they also looked for the simplest solution before assuming bigger work had to be done. Great experience!

We needed emergency plumbing services. Unfortunately Parkset was not our first call and the first plumbers (roto rooter) let us down and even with price gouging decided they couldn't fix it for days. Parkset came to the rescue and did it for less than roto rooter was quoting.

Lawrence was special when it came to fixing the leak into my basement from the tub. The folks who remodeled my bathroom put the worst pipes down there and sealed nothing off. Choice Green came in and worked their magic. Now I have no leaks in my basement. I wish I had the photos to show the basement beforehand but I've since painted over the water damage.

I was very relieved that Parkset Plumbing came to my rescue after I began a job I thought I could easily do myself, but once I got halfway into it I realized I had better leave it to the professionals. Tom came over made an assessment and the next day early in the morning the job was done quickly efficiently and professionally. Will definitely be using them again.

Parkset Plumbing did a great job of installing a new wall mounted vanity, sink and faucets for me. They were a little more expensive than I had hoped for but totally worth it. The staff were courteous, prompt and efficient - and also kindly carried the very heavy vanity up several flights of stairs to my top floor apartment and took the old set away for me. All went smoothly, they listened to any concerns I had and I felt very comfortable with them in my home. So much so that I'm about to schedule another job with them! Highly recommended.

PARK SET replaced a hot water heater for us recently. Setting up an appointment was fast and easy. They came when expected and Reggie and Claudius did an excellent job of removing the old hot water and installing the new one. They were efficient, polite and neat.
I can't say enough about the service I received and, in addition, the price was reasonable for the new heater and its installation.
I almost forgot to mention that office personnel, Jasmine and Aphrodite were very helpful and one of the bosses,Tom, was extremely easy to deal with.
I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

I called them for service about a month ago they came and help with my heat even though they were extremely busy, they said they will do what they could. The plumber was very courteous and professional. The office  girls are very nice on the phone is not like other places you call and are afraid to talk because they make you feel weird. THANKS PARKSET!

Parkset was the third plumbing company I called to help me fix a leaking sink at my place of business. The other two companies came in, looked at the job, charged me $100-$200, told me to go get a new sink, and walked out the front door. I called Parkset via a random google search and they had someone at my shop at 9am. They couldn't fix it on the spot but they told me what to do and what to get (as far as the new sink and fixture). The plumber even looked at pictures I sent him of sinks my local hardware store had in stock and gave me a yes or no on what would work. Parkset came back the next day and although the plumber who showed up this time first tried to say he couldn't do what needed to be done, the office called me within minutes and assured me they would get the job done (which required deconstruction of a custom made sink and removal of all the junk that wasn't working after ten years). I said I have a problem, and I needed it fixed, no matter what that means. They said they understood and would handle it. They told me they couldn't promise that they wouldn't have to cut the sink up into pieces (it was wood) but they managed to save the sink per my request and were done in an hour or two. They left the space in good working order and clean. I can't speak to the price (if it was high or low, we paid $800), but we were in crisis mode and I couldn't get anyone else to do the job. I am thoroughly please with their work ESPECIALLY with the admin and office side of things. I have called fixers so many times to make an appointment and they never even show up! Or they show up and do crappy work. The new sink works perfectly and I am very happy with the results. I would use Parkset again any time.

Parkset Plumbing installed a new boiler, hot water pump, and high-output radiators in my 4-family building in Brooklyn. Their workers were knowledgeable, professional, and reliable.Tom Burke, the CEO, repeatedly took the time to answer my questions and walk me through the job--a rather complicated one--and it unfolded just as he said it would. Excellent plumbers, excellent service.
