Martin's Plumbing is fast, efficient, and economical. Alex was my plumber and he was great! He changed out faucets and cartridges for me, and extended gas pipes for a new stove and dryer.

My property manager recommended this company to me after I'm so happy with the service that I have to share a little of my sleeping time to share my experience with you. As I listen to my dog snoring, I'll recant the wonderful experience with this family owned business at my new apartment in the Northern WI suburbs
I moved into a community that has well water and after a few weeks of gastric distress, I realized I needed to put a filter on my sink to reduce the amount of plastic bottles flowing (like the Nile before Moses) out my front door to the recycling dumpster every day. Between my dog and I, we drink about 80- 20 ounce bottles each week. It was getting embarrassing; but we couldn't drink the well water even after boiled it! We just weren't hardy enough! Our poor little citified tummies couldn't take it!
I researched and found an undersink mounted filter that my landlord happily approved. However, I'm new in town. My go-to plumber doesn't service this area and none of my friends could help me. I asked the property manager and she stated I could check with their contractor.
I was shocked when Bublitz agreed to come out and help me. Their work was wonderful. They were courteous and professional. The pricing was fair. The worker was in and out quickly no stalling and trying to run up a big bill. Because they knew the property

Do yourself a favor and avoid. Terrible communication in addition to half finished and poor work. After hiring them to replace our closet doors they did half the job, and the work they did do left the doors ruined.
We had a verbal agreement with Donn that he would REPLACE all 4 of our doors with new ones. When he showed up with the finished work he had not replaced the doors, but rather sanded two of them and covered all of them in a brown 'restorative' oil. Immediately after they were installed, this brown oil was rubbing off on my hands, carpet, and clothes. We have had to since hire a whole new carpenter to redo ALL the work. When we contacted Donn and his wife Melissa for a partial refund, they vanished and have not responded to our phone calls. I am including a photo of a paper towel I wiped over the surface of one of our ruined doors. This substance they put on the doors wouldn't come off and we wound up having to remove the doors and throw them away. This was getting on my hands, carpet and clothing. Beware if you use them to get your job in writing and do not pay cash. We stupidly trusted them and wound up unhappy and swindled.

Jon has helped us out several times. The first time, we had another plumber back out of a bathroom shower remodel install between demo and tile. I called several people in town. Most people just apologized and said they were scheduling weeks out. Jon took some notes and called back within the hour. He had worked to move his schedule around to help us out on what was a big challenging job for us and keep us on schedule. He was not only a total life saver there, but the work was superb. There was a huge amount of copper work to be done on an old house. You could tell that he is a total master of his craft. Since then, he has been our go to plumber. We have interacted with several of his team and they are all professional and talented. Everything from snaking a backed up sewer return, to replacing a water heater and toilet. He is responsive and stands by his work. I could not recommend more!

I called several plumbers on a Saturday due to a clogged sewer line. Few even called me back. Greg called right away and was over within a half hour. Greg couldn't have been nicer. Great job. Reasonable price.

I've been using Dickenschrauf plumbinng for routine system maintenance checks for three or four years. Never had a problem. Always on time.

Needed a hot water heater quickly and checked around with people I know in Oregon and also some contractors and this business was recommended by all. I got a fair price on a new unit and they were polite and friendly.

I Contacted Austin Plumbing as they stated they are a Rheem Hot water heater repair/replace company on their website. On the phone I was told the service call would be $74.( A service call tells me I will be issued a service, look at my hot water heater and tell me what is wrong with it.). I was not told this cost only covers someone to drive to our house. Once the tech comes through the door into the house he didn't tell me nor was I told on the phone we would be charged to actually have him look at the unit, Seriously !!!!
Their site also states they issue a free Safety Inspection with every visit. Guess what, that didn't happen.
After time spent with the tech we were given a quote for a new unit. I almost fell off my shoes! $5,069.45! It gets better... Only by me asking for a breakdown on material and labor costs which was never provided ( it was a lumped together price), did I find out they would not be installing a Rheem! It was like pulling teeth to find out the brand they would use, I was told Bradford White (Never heard of it). After telling the Tech I want Rheem and that is the reason I contacted their company as they stated they are a Rheem rep, he still wouldn't quote me a Rheem tank he proceeded to bad mouth the manufacturer saying they have been having problems lately and still wouldn't quote me Rheem - who does this! Seems like an extremely shady company!
The day after this visit this Non-service Call was still bothering me as I felt riped off! I had to pay $74. for nothing! I called the company and spoke to a Manager, typical conversation you would expect to hear, you were told this, you were told that, we do this blah, blah, blah. I said funny you were not on the phone call with me nor were you here at my home participating in any of the conversation. I told him your company is representing itself in a shady untrusting manor. Reminds me of hook em and reel em in with out the complete picture. Let the customer know all the info up front and let the customer make their own decision what they want not you making it for them. We pay the bill.
I asked for Austin Plumbing to tear up my check as they didn't do any service, no free safety inspection and didn't quote me a Rheem hot water heater. Well you probably know how that went, they didn't tear up my check nor did they refund me at least half of my money I asked for.
Hopfully sharing my bad experience protects others to not be taken advantage of by this company. Thanks for listening.

We were in need of a plumber and we were given this plumber's name by a neighbor. Being from out of town, it was a bit of a challenge to schedule an appointment. We scheduled a time the following week and Brad showed up on time with a phone call that he was on the way prior to the appointment. The job was to get a toilet to flush properly. Routing and chemicalizing didn't help. Brad left with the chemicals in the toilet. We would try and flush later in the day. We did and the problem was still a problem. We called Brad, left a message. This was late on a Friday. The next Monday, we called Brad again, talked about them problem and decided that since the routing/chemicals didn't work, it would be best to replace the toilet. We scheduled a 10:00 A.M. appt. the following Thursday. Remember, we are from out of town and it is quite a drive to get to the site of the nearly no-flush toilet. 10:00 A.M. comes and no plumber. A bit later we call and are told that something else came up and that job is taking time and that the plumber will show up around 12:00 P.M. 12:00 P.M. -- no plumber. We call again and this time leave a message. A bit later, Brad returns the call and says he is on the way. Great. At 1:00 P.M., he shows up and gets to work. 3 hours late, but at least he made it. A couple of hours later, the problem is resolved. It took longer than expected since he ran into several issues. I guess that appointments later in the day suffered the same delays as we did. Brad DID solve the problem. Brad did a GOOD job. He knew what he was doing, He kept the site reasonably clean (4 stars). Labor, of course, cost more than parts. Cost per hour ... can't judge since we didn't know the going rate for the area, but he was honest about the time.
The ONLY issue we had was that Brad didn't call ahead of time when he was delayed. He knew we were from out of town and that it made timing appointments inconvenient. Being late ... can't help it always, but CALL.
Would we hire this company again? Yes.

These guys did a service for the home builder from before we moved in and have now harassed me 3 times for payment, even after I explained that I did not own the home at the time of the service. I even offered to send along our closing docs so she could prove to the home builders that we were not the ones that authorized the service. The woman had the gall to tell me it was my problem and that I should call the homebuilders! Right after which she asked if I wanted winterization services. Would never use them!

Bassett Plumbing installed out water heater without a dielectric union between the cooper pipe and steel pipe. These two metals corrode each other without this piece. We did not notice this until the water heater started leaking where is began to corrode. I have called and left multiple messages and still have not heard back. We bought this Rheem water heater less than a year ago and it is already in bad shape.

I had hired Gene Wagner Plumbing several times in the past. The service seemed OK, although on one service call the plumber seemed to have quite an attitude.
The last time I called Gene Wagner Plumbing to my house was awful.
Pipes in my house clogged. I called for a service call and agreed to have the plumber come to my home after hours and I understood the overtime rate involved.
I received a call after 5 pm that the plumber was on his way. He did not arrive at my house until 55 minutes later and I was charged for the 55 minutes plus the time the plumber spent at my house. Gene Wagner Plumbing is literally located 15 minutes from my house. The plumber was not able to unclog the pipes and had to return the next day to replace the pipes.
When the plumber returned the next day he initially removed the old pipes within a reasonable amount of time. After that the plumber would literally sit on the floor of my house with his head bent so far forward that you could not even see his neck and he would do this for 15 or 20 minutes each time, The plumber spent more time sitting in this position than he did working.
Initially I did not know what was going on. I did not know if this person had a mental issue or was high or intoxicated as this behavior was so bizarre. I became so alarmed by this that I even thought I was going to have to call my local police department to have this person removed from my house.
With the fact that my pipes had been cut open and I could not leave the pipes like that I just monitored the situation and hoped for the best.
After wasting several hours of time the plumber then rather quickly finished installing the pipes which tells me that if he had not been wasting time he could have been done much sooner. As a matter of fact a different plumber from Gene Wagner Plumbing had been to my home several years earlier and had managed to unclog the same pipe but had warned me that if the pipe clogged again in the future that the pipes would have to be replaced. At that time the plumber gave an estimate that the job would take 2-3 hours at the most. With a cost of approximately 300.00.
6 hours and over $1000 later the job was done. Coincidentally the main office called the plumber just as he was making out the bill to send him on to another job. Good timing or what????
I do not know how anyone with any type of conscience can deliberately waste time like that causing a customer hundreds of dollars more in repair costs.
Needless to say I will NEVER hire Gene Wagner Plumbing again.

Rather than doing the repair properly with PVC, they used 7 flex couplings within a 5 ft span and an accordion trap. Completely unprofessional. I had to have another plumber come out and fix the repair they did.

ONe of the bathroom fixtures that Brothers installed has to be tightened periodically. That is hardly typical. This is a new place and because of the way the previous owner left it, needed plumbing work. Tracking dirt in the house the first time was bad enough. But Brothers managed to leave black gunk splattered in the bathroom. A professional cleans up. This guy didn't.
Drain Brothers was here a second time to fix something they missed the first time. Brother & helper did not fix it. I bought the tools and found the drain crammed with the previous owner's negligence. I have never hired a plumber to install faucets who did NOT check the trap. The kitchen faucet that he fixed and charged $80 for, now wobbles when touched.
This time they left a big puddle of dirty water on the floor in my bathroom and tracked dirt on my living room carpet. I even asked Brandon & his helper to remove their shoes. Every plumber who has ever worked on my place has either taken shoes off or put protective covers on them, A pro leaves with the work done with none of his mess behind.
I will never recommend this company to anyone. If you pay professional wages then get a professional. This company is just not worth it.

They came out and replaced our broken toilet through our home warranty. They came out quickly, were very professional and pleasant, did a great job and even stuck around afterwards and gave advice on some other plumbing issues we are having including things I can do on my own and things they could do for us and how much that would cost. That's how you win business and create repeat customers! Very happy with them.

I had a situation at my property otherwise I would not be calling this establishment. I loved the reviews I saw of this company and this was one of the companies that I didn't hear of asking clients to give a review for payment. I called and no one responded. several days later I gave an ultimatum and I got a call from adam hours later. he sounded as if he didn't really want to do the job, as a matter of fact he referred me green leaf. I was disappointed to say the least. this was in mid December but again I wanted the job done ASAP and it finally took me weeks for a company who didn't mind the neighborhood to go out there.
