Debelak, Jon Plumbing & Heating

Debelak plumbing and heating were quite simply, awesome.   We had a clogged toilet we could not fix, and a few other bathroom issues.  I contacted them on a Friday morning and they called around 1PM to say they were on their way.  The worker they sent was friendly, knowledgeable (master plumber I believe), and they completed the project in about an hour.  Definitely would use them again!!

Jon was able to come over and replace out outdoor faucet with 24 hours notice. The faucet piping was in a small cubby hole in the basement behind a cabinet and he was still able to replace the faucet and get everything flowing again within 30 minutes - I was very impressed!

We had our old water heater upgraded to a power vent water heater.  The existing installation was not done to modern codes and requires additional exhaust modifications of the furnace and water heater.

Jon was able to replace my water heater in record time..... I called Friday mid morning and he was able to get me a replacement water heater in time for the weekend.  Jon was knowledgable and straightforward without the upsale I have experienced with other plumbers.  Jon's sons came to perform the work - they were very professional and cleaned up everything.  I highly recommend Jon Debelak plumbing.

Jon has helped us out several times.  The first time, we had another plumber back out of a bathroom shower remodel install between demo and tile.  I called several people in town.  Most people just apologized and said they were scheduling weeks out. Jon took some notes and called back within the hour.  He had worked to move his schedule around to help us out on what was a big challenging job for us and keep us on schedule.  He was not only a total life saver there, but the work was superb.  There was a huge amount of copper work to be done on an old house. You could tell that he is a total master of his craft.  Since then, he has been our go to plumber.  We have interacted with several of his team and they are all professional and talented.  Everything from snaking a backed up sewer return, to replacing a water heater and toilet.  He is responsive and stands by his work.  I could not recommend more!

Great service, responsive and fair prices. Needed a new lift pump and Jon was quick to diagnose, order new pump and installed the next day. Will definitely use again.

Our kitchen faucet would not run. We knew water was available because the other appliances had water supply.The faucet is a Kraus so I called the company and they sent the replacement parts they said we needed. I called Jon Debelek Plumbing. They came that day. Within 20min after they arrived the parts were replace and the faucet was running again.  He was fast, efficient and did an excellent job I would not hesitate to call him again for my Plumbing needs.

Jon was super friendly and came out the same day we spoke. Him and his son did a great job replacing our tub/shower faucet and took the time to explain the job very thoroughly. Will definitely call them next time we need plumbing services!

Our hot water heater quit.  Jon was very responsive and went over all of our options and questions very thoroughly.  He is very knowledgeable, gives you straight, honest information, and we felt confident with our choice.  He ordered our new unit and it was installed the next day.  We are repeat customers and have been extremely happy with all of our services.  A pleasure to work with and would highly recommend!

Excellent experience and service! I called Mr. Debelak for the first time, he answered, was very knowledgeable and nice, and asked me to send a photo of the water heater and serial number. I texted these to him, and very quickly he gave me an all in cost for the tank (the same one we had been looking at from Lowes), labor, and hauling away our old tank. No B.S.; he did not try to upsell or pressure me into upgrading to a tankless water heater (like half of the places I called before checking Yelp). He was able to send an invoice by email within an hour of me first talking to him, and installed the new tank/hauled off the old one the next day. I'm amazed by how easy, normal, and respectful the whole process was! After a ton of trying to get estimates from other places only to get the run around, I wish I had called Debelak first. I have since recommended Debelak to all of our family in SE Wisconsin. A+

Jon's great with communication, and he was friendly and professional. He explains things in clear terms and works efficiently. He fit us into his schedule within 24 hours and gave me a good idea when he would arrive. As for the work, handled a couple different issues for the minimum hourly rate and was very transparent about pricing before he came.

He left a very favorable impression. I would definitely call him to help out with a plumbing issue again.

Although I greatly appreciated the result, the fact of the matter is I was charged over $300 for a 20 minute job. Again, if someone were to do the math, that would come out to $900 per hour. Sorry, but it seems high based on previous experiences with other plumbing companies. We'll agree to disagree but I will never use your services or recommend you to anyone.

Had the kitchen sink moved to the opposite side of the kitchen. Jon came to provide a quote. The work was very straightforward to estimate as the plumbing is all exposed in the basement ceiling. I did the demo of the old sink and capping off of old sink supply in advance. Jon sent another plumber who had a young helper as well. All PEX tubing and PVC. Their work was done in less than a day and with no complications or changes to the requirements. Jon added close to $1,000 to the bill based on the hours his plumber AND the teenage helper spent on the job. We split the difference and I paid $500 over the original quote in spite of the fact that the job had not changed. Disappointing.

I called Jon Debelek this morning because water heater wasn't working, never expecting them to make it to our hose today, being a Friday. I can't express strongly enough how pleased we were with the quick response and great job he did to get the water heater working again. Saved us an emergency call on the weekend. We highly recommend his company.

They came to sort out some random plumbing issues. In the process, they were telling me about a recirculating system, but said he needed to find out from the manager if I needed a pump. I also needed a part for my water heater, which he had to track down. The plumber called back to tell me he found the part, and it would take a couple weeks to get to me. I never got a response about the pump. Over the course of the last month, I tried calling the plumber twice, then called the office 3 times requesting a call back about this issue. It's been a month, and no call. Then I find out that it isn't a couple weeks for the other part, it's over a month. In the meantime, the original appointment was for three things. 1) water leaking from the tank into the toilet bowl. Wasn't fixed. 2) a bad smell coming from my sink. Didn't look at it and not fixed. 3) losing hot water in the shower. A part was replaced that helped some, and waiting for the part for the water heater to see if that fixes the rest. Everything else I could deal with because I know he's coming back, but not getting a call after so many requests, that's completely unacceptable. I don't recommend them. Not professional.

The water heater was not producing enough hot water to take a full 10 min. shower. Then one day the water got super hot and the next day, no hot water at all. I contacted a number of other plumbing services but DeBelak had an office, not an answering machine. I spoke to a knowledgable person who asked the right questions, gave me an estimate and set our appointment. Three days later, in less than an hour, our service person removed the old heater, installed a brand new one, took great care of my renter, and cheerfully left us with hot water once again. We will be using them for other work to come this year! Totally professional, no 'messin' around. I'm thrilled I decided on DeBelak
