Lamont is the man you want to call! I called two other plumbers who didn't return my calls, but once I got Lamont, my shower was fixed the next day!  Lamont goes above and beyond for his customers!  Instead of doing an invasive repair, he tracked down the part we needed and went and got it!  I can't think of any other plumbers who would try beyond the closest plumbing store.  Lamont is kind, thoughtful, and respectful.  He is my go to plumber!

These guys showed up the same day I call. Took out my hot water heater and replaced it within three hours. Super professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Not one spec of mess was left behind. I was very pleased with the price expected to pay a lot more for the fast service. Thanks guys

I don't know if many renters vs home owners rate home businesses, but working plumbing is equally critical to both. This home was built in the 70s, owners died and adult kids renovated, and then it sat empty for a year before I rented it. I am grateful for it, but just 1 month in, I was standing in 2 of shower water routinely and the tiny toilets barely flushed. When plunging one toilet resulted in flooding the floor in the other bathroom and tubs quit draining, I made the panicked call. Mike and his associate came, assessed, worked from the insides and roof, worked straight for hours, and even involved the city to clear my old lines. These 2 men were informative all along the way, and were honoring of my privacy, my pet, my property. I would call them again and first. The best!

These folks provided wonderful, professional and quick response to my leaking water heater problem.
Very professional and hard-working plumbers that got right to work upon arrival on a difficult to access attic water heater replacement job and finished in about 2 hours and took great care to clean up afterward and not make a mess in the house in the process of carrying the old leaky tank out. Would definitely recommend and use these great folks again.

I too would like to highly recommend George's Plumbing. Anthony came out to solve a stopped-up drain issue in our 1963-built V.B. brick ranch home. He did a professional job fixing the problem, while also replacing a badly-done DIY plumbing from a previous owner. My wife and I couldn't be happier. Anthony made great recommendations. Did what he said he would do. Performed his work magnificently. Cleaned up afterwards to my wife's satisfaction. Then presented us with a very reasonable bill for the services. We are absolutely thrill with the outcome. I will be calling George's for my next plumbing issue.

MEP Home Services was a lifesaver! Two days before Christmas in our home and we had plumbing issues that could have effected our whole holiday weekend...but MEP Home Services graciously took our call and helped us out of our bind! We had the on-call plumber come to our home and he was great and was able to fix everything. Mike was very smart and capable at his job and wonderful at explaining what he was doing to help! We have been using Grounds Pro for the past 4 years and could not be happier with their service. We have a 10 zone sprinkler system which we had no idea how to work or maintain when we bought our property over 4 years ago. Grounds Pro sent a crew out to inspect the system (we have a well for our sprinkler system) and educate us on the system. The gentlemen who are the face of Grounds Pro could not be nicer, patient or more knowledgeable. The crew just left this morning after getting our system up and running for the '23 season after being winterized (they do that too). At the end of last season we were having problems with a zone that was pulsing. They promised to address at reopening, which they did. These workers spend a couple of hours working on getting our pump primed and checking all zones. They did not leave until everything was is perfect working order!!! I can't say enough good things about them.

They did great work but didn't pull the required permit. I told him that I thought he needed one and that I wanted one if it was required but he didn't do it. So I'm off to pull a permit.

called for A/C unit replacement. work was subpar. had to call him back. eventually I had to fix the installation myself, we ended up with ceiling and floor damage. I would not recommend.

I rarely write reviews and never this in depth - so please read!
We were in desperate need of getting our heater fixed - of course it went out the last cold weekend we had for the season! Our system is only 3 years old and still under manufacturer warranty. The technician showed up in a timely manner and was nice; told us that the problem was the ignitor. Charged us $400+ and signed us up for a recurring monthly membership. He replaced the ignitor with an after-market part, which turns out didn't fix the heater. Then he says the gas valve needs to be replaced, but it's under warranty and he doesn't have the part - so we're still without a working heater, and BTW we still have to pay for everything he did even though it was misdiagnosed. He also told us a lot of other things we were wrong with our system and we needed close to another $1000 of work done.
We never received an itemized invoice of what was done and what we were changed for. We got a second opinion which told us nothing was wrong with the ignitor (nor the rest of the system), the gas valve did need to be replaced and is readily available to do so under warranty. We called American Mechanical back for an ITEMIZED invoice, to cancel the membership and to work out what needs to be done about the service done at our place - putting back the original part as to not void the warranty.
They were not sympathetic, they brushed us off claiming doctors have different diagnoses too, etc. and will have a manager be in touch with us. It's over a week later and we do not have a reply. We have tried calling back almost daily without reply.
To put a cherry on top, they charged our card ANOTHER monthly membership fee within the same week. I'm now approaching this via our credit card company because we can't get a response. Terrible to think you can't get decent customer service from a local business. Also, as a doctor myself, having different diagnoses doesn't work like that. If you completely misdiagnose something and treat it incorrectly, you are liable for malpractice.

My experience with Curtis Key Plumbing was very distasteful and left and extremely bad taste in my mouth, April 18, 2017 I had a scheduled appointment for 0700 and at 0721when the contractor had not shown up I reached out to the company and I was given the total run around for 15 mins and then told someone would be at my house within the hour, so my already planned out day had to be readjusted to meet the needs of this PLUMBING COMPANY I thought it was all about CUSTOMER SERVICE. When then contractor finally showed up I asked was my appointment sent for 0700 and he acknowledged yes it was schedule for 0700 and he had no explanation of why there was a no show and that he was tasked with coming over to my residence at 0730 so that is why he is over a hour late. throughout the wait process I spoke with the organization 3 different times and requested for a supervisor to call me and as of now 10:02am I have not spoken to anyone or a supervisor for compensation for the work being done at my home. After finally getting a hold of someone (not a supervisor) I was told that the owner Curtis never reaches out and speak with customers and it rare if a supervisors returns calls. I believe this to be UNSAT. I do not recommend others utilizing this organization for future plumbing jobs.
