Job: remove water valve cartridge which was stuck; Price: $150 for only manual labor; Time spent: 30 minutes from time of arrival to completion. Positive: came out within 20 minutes of call out. Negative: Pricing is exuberant. I had already removed everything minus the white part of the valve cartridge. Initially, they attempted to say my entire piping would need to be replaced, that's them gauging your knowledge for pricing. They used my vinegar and water, flat head, and steel scrubber. Would I use them again, no. Prices are ridiculous for their labor and I had to re-fix the hot water setting on the shower as it was not set correctly.

Some free advice; keep an eye on your water use. If your water bill is high, check your toilets to see if they are leaking, and check your outside hoses to see if you forgot to turn them off. Unfortunately, I did none of the above and 24,000 gallons was leaked over four months. Unfortunately, the plumbers that came out to my house misdiagnosed the problem and proceeded to make holes in my driveway trying to find the leak. I was concerned that my driveway was looking like a war zone (and the hairline cracks opened up to like a quarter of an inch because of the jack hammer action), so I called American Leak Detection to pin point the problem. As it turns out, I had a broken overflow tube in my spare bathroom that I never use. Don't let anyone randomly put holes in your driveway trying to find a leak. If you definitely have a leak underground, it's worth the money to hire the experts with the right equipment. American Leak Detection sent someone out the day after I called them, and they solved the mystery. Peace of mind is priceless!

Extremely disappointed in how they treated my 80-plus-year-old parents. On July 2, they replaced the fill valve and associated parts to fix a running toilet and replaced the toilet seat. The first problem was that they installed a standard seat on an elongated bowl. How does that happen? If that weren't bad enough, the toilet started running again less than a month later. When my parents called them, they wanted to charge a $65 trip charge and said there was no warranty. Avoid Reliable Plumbing at all costs!

They installed new heater, ducting and AC unit. I mailed a check for what I thought was the final payment, but apparently, my math was off by $125. Instead of just calling me about the $125, they put a lien on my house and I had to fork out another $300 for their non-responsive lawyer to lift the lien. Then after we had their work inspected by an independent home inspector (we were selling the house) he found a leak in their work, and they refused to honor their warranty. This is just a few months after it was installed, they are being paid in full and wont make the repair, so I have to pay someone else $110 to do it. Seriously stay away from these guys. Horrible experience.
