Best Plumbing Services in Greensboro, NC
I have used Southern Triad Home Repair consistently for my home projects. I started out by asking them to change out a few light switches, ceiling fan, bathroom light, vent covers, etc. I was so impressed by their professionalism, I started adding on more stuff. For example, he installed backsplash in my kitchen, installed a pediment over my door, replace storm door, toilet, etc. I am 100% pleased with their service. They are very timely and consistent. Above all else, they are very neat..complete cleanup after every job.
There are other projects I will have them complete for me. I am super glad I met them while they were doing repairs/installations at my neighbor's house. It has been difficult for me to find dependable and consistent repairmen who value their work. Well, I found one. They are a father/son team. I highly recommend them. They will review and provide a quote. Ohhhhhh.....And they do give 10% military discount. Yes.....that in itself was a first for me. Also, they offered to pick up the door, toilet, etc. because I could not fit in my vehicle. Yes, I HIGHLY recommend 100%.
If they took pics of my work, by all means I give them permission to share.

These guys are awesome. They have done work for our HOA (Brandywine) for some time, Recently had a broken water main that was flooding some of our units, They responded quickly and helped us get a locator service as the leak was under ground. Found and activated shut off which shut water off to five homes. Time was a factor and of course the Leak was right under a large tree so they had to carefully remove roots and hand dig to uncover the spot. Repair was made within a couple hours and service was restored. They actually put off some other jobs since they knew we were in a bind. Renewed my faith that there is still real customer service out there. I highly recommend these guys.

I would not hire them again, called on 8/2020for a leak and supposedly fixed and did not check the meter on their way out. I checked after shutting down the water at the house and water was still running. called again and they came out on 8/21 and stated it was fixed and would come out with tractor to fill in hole they dug. on 9/7 came out to fill in hole and pumped out water from the rain and everything was good. On 9/15/20 Davidson water meter person came out and told us still has a leak. Called Johns Plumbing again and they would put us on schedule 9/21. I have a friend who found the 2nd leak and fixed it and no issues and canceled with Johns Plumbing and their cost was outrageously high of over $1300.00 and water bill was over $400. Do not hire them

Dishonest and Does NOT Stand Behind Work
When my kitchen faucet started leaking, I called Sowers Plumbing to repair the leak. He came to my house and I ended up with a bill to fix an unrelated problem. He never gave me an estimate- just fixed it and charged me. I agreed to get a new faucet because he told me the one I had probably wouldn't last long. He told me he could get an all metal Delta faucet for $150- then the labor would be $190. When he came back to switch the faucets, he came with a much cheaper Moen faucet as a substitute. A google search showed that this same faucet was $89 at Lowes. He insisted on charging the same price , but would decrease the bill by $25 but it would void any warranty. If you need a plumber, call someone else.

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. I am forced to try and work with them because of my home warranty. Waited around the first day from 8:30-1 and they never showed. I called and was rescheduled for 8:30-5 the following week (after waiting a week for my appointment). At 3:30pm after waiting all day they called and said no one was available to come and they needed to reschedule me (again). I stayed that was just unacceptable and was told they would pull someone off another job and he would be on his way. They never showed up. Called the next day and was told I would be called back within 30 minutes to be put on the schedule and no one ever called. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The worst part is now I have a second issue and guess who my home warranty scheduled?!

Avoid this business at all cost. My husband and I contacted this business for a bathroom renovation. We didn't end up going with him because response times were slow and we had a deadlines. But we did have a small project that we needed done that felt low risk. We needed new cabinet doors for our living room built ins. The quote was reasonable and we paid him and deposit. He took measured and took our old doors with him and we have no heard from him since months later. He stopped answering our calls. There is no where to leave a voicemail because the mailbox is always full. No one to take messages. What terrible business practices. Now we are moving out of the house that we originally contracted him to do work on and now have to pay someone else to complete the job that we paid a deposit on and never got the work done for. Avoid this business at all cost. He can not be trusted!

After a routine periodic service check which we requested since we'd been in our house 3 yrs and never had our 13 year old equipment inspected, the ARS tech reported that we needed to totally replace BOTH our upstairs and downstairs HVAC (Heating-Ventilating-Air-Conditioning) systems due to carbon monoxide leaks in both systems.
Since we had never experienced any previous negative symptoms or malfunctions, we asked to see a leak monitor to verify these findings, but tech said the devices are too expensive.
An hour later a salesman comes in with a high pressure quote on a totally new system which he says we must have for--hang on to your seat-- $18,927!! To top it off, there was a lot of intense high pressure to decide on the spot (to save a few hundred dollars they'd throw in if we let them know then and there, and to get the new $19,000 system installed the next day.)
Tech also turned off our upper floor unit which he correctly said he must do by law, though he left on our lower floor unit. He did show us how to turn the upstairs unit back on if we chose, and we did choose, since that night temps were in the twenties. However, the upper floor system would not heat after the tech left, and we spent a chilling night in the low 60s. So our routine service/inspection/cleaning call netted us a broken system, a $19,000 quote and finally, NO HEAT!
The next morning, the tech returned and got the heat back on, though there was attitude because we'd said we were getting a second opinion.
The outrageous upshot of this all is that when our second tech, an independent professional WITH a leak monitor came and inspected both systems, neither system had any leak, and neither system needed replacement for any reason. And for the record, although both the ARS tech and the ARS salesman made a point of saying they weren't getting a commission, our independent told us he's seen ARS forms which techs &/or salesmen turn in for pay bonuses linked to their sales jobs. So, no commissions, just bonuses. Even though our heat is back up and running (no thanks to ARS), we still shiver to think how close we just came to being bilked out of almost $20,000 for HVAC equipment we did not need and were being coerced into purchasing on false pretenses.
