Water heater crapped out and need to be replaced. Called the plumber who installed the original water heater and he could not guarantee that he could do it same day...while waiting on his response as to whether or not he could do it the same day I called Angler (thanks to the yelp reviews). They said they could come over within the hour and were cheaper. Colin came and he did a great job...polite, clean, professional and quick. Could not be happier! The original plumber called back and told me he still didn't know if he could do it today but I said no worries...found someone else who is just about finished installing the new water heater. Anyway if you need a plumber I highly recommend Angler.
Also to get a quote I simply took a photo of the existing water heater and of the sticker on the water heater showing all the specifications of the water heater...texted it to them and they called me right back with a quote which, like I said was cheaper than my original plumber, and which they honored...no hidden costs.
Simply a great experience from start to finish...the whole experience took no more that 3 hours from when I called to when they left.

I recently had new kitchen plumbing, a new bathroom and a new hot water heater installed by Total Plumbing Heating and Drain Service. The work was done right the first time around, with no surprises. The employees were efficient, professional, cleaned up thoroughly, and finished their work in a timely manner. The completed job far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Total Plumbing Heating for any and all of your plumbing needs.

I had issues with my kitchen sink and contacted Bob. He responded promptly. He arrived on time and made an assessment of the problem. Based on the assessment he was transparent with all the potential issues. He fixed the problem by clearing the drain. I recommend his services.

The two guys came over and we're honest with us. They said the garbage disposal needs 3 screws and that it is something that I can do. They didn't charge us. Super nice. If we need to get plumbers, I'm calling these guys.

We had Riverside Handyman Services come again to replace the two toilets in our apartment. They were very professional, not disruptive, and had the toilets replaced in a few hours. We'll definitely be reaching out again for anything else we need done.

Called Sal Trippi Plumbing at 1:15PM on a Tuesday. Sal Sr. answered the phone. I explained the situation we were having with our kitchen sink and faucet. He said he could have someone come by the next day to fix it. I told him that it would unfortunately not work as we were leaving to go on vacation that night. He said that he would check to see if anyone could stop by later in the day. Two hours later, Mike showed up and was able to fix the problem! Great service! Great communications! Great work! I will definitely call Sal again in the future!

Had a scheduled service appointment on November 4, 2020. Although the technician that was on-site was great, can't say the same for the project coordinator. Thought a repair for the water heater was happening in one shot. However, to the surprise of the technician, he didn't even know he was doing a repair. Was told there would be some kind of warranty on the work, and again, this was a surprise to the technician as well. Thought this repair could happen in a few hours and be warrantied for at least 1 month. Nope! The technician basically said that for work he didn't think would last, he would not offer a warranty. His visit ended being a consult which is NOT what I had agreed to as I thought this repair could actually be done and not something that was iffy. So for basically a half hour consult, forked over appx $139. Although the coordinator offered to deduct the amount off the price of a new water heater, which the technician said should have a 6 year warranty, the one the coordinator sent paperwork for only stated 3 years. When this was mentioned, he said the research was done by other members of his team and that new paperwork correcting the warranty would be sent. Nope! This was the 3rd strike. Paperwork was NEVER received, and at this point, didn't see a point to call him again just to be angered more.

Fred Smith is the plumber for our building. They may treat the building well. BUT, for work for shareholders, they are a nightmare. They don't arrive when expected (six hours late is not acceptable with no communication). Then, arrived so late that the job could not get done that day. Then told me that I said one faucet. No, I said TWO. If I bought TWO faucets, I would have said two.Nothing is communicated via email. They use notes and you can find it impossible to talk to the same person. But, the real nightmare started when the plumber broke the porcelain sink when replacing the first faucet. Needed to order a replacement sink. Not their fault that this took weeks to get. BUT, they did break the sink (the old caulking could have been heated to ease removal of the old faucet. brute force can break a sink). There were many follow-up calls, too many. I had to bird dog the arrival of the replacement sink (they had ordered). Then, the bill. Rather than charging me for the real work. They attempted to triple the bill. The plumber literally changed invoice after I signed! He forgot to write down the replacement sink. It is illegal to change an invoice after a customer signs. Fortunately, I had already copied the invoice and could prove that they did this. I then wrote on the invoice 'under reservation of rights. My building attempted to intervene here. After hours of negotiations, they agreed to a reasonable bill ($1k vs. $3k).
The owner (it's easy to find his name) has a great gig going. He's built a huge business. They should invest in modern systems, and respect the customers. I will never use them again. I have identified and have now used other capable plumbers since this story. I don't care that Fred Smith is the plumber to the stars and is highly rated in The Franklin Report. I just want good work done.

I had what I thought was a cracked drain pipe in my bathtub that was causing a leak to my downstairs neighbor. On a snowy Friday afternoon, Jonathan stopped by and replaced 3 broken PVC pipes (2 that I was unaware of) and replaced the bathtub stopper. Because my tub is a jetstream, there was little to no room to do any work, but after 4 hours of hard work, Jonathan got everything up and running with no problems as I write this review nearly 3 to 4 weeks later. Jonathan was super patient, professional, and persistent in ensuring everything worked properly!

We have a service contract with this company. On Dec, 23, 2018 (Yes, 2 days before Christmas), our furnace stopped putting out heat. This has happened before, and it was a hot surface ignitor failure, as reported by the thermostat error code. This was a Sunday, in the afternoon. I called to the original installer, but got no response, so called AJ Perri. They sent out a tech, who arrived at 6:00 pm, and changed out the ignitor, which he had on his truck. It took him all of 10 minutes. From prior experience, and from searching on the web site, I knew that the part cost about $30.00. We had a service contract with AJ Perri, so they were not going to charge me for the service, unless I refused to have the work done. We had no heat, it was a weekend, and a few days before Christmas, so I agreed.
Then the tech, Tyrone Howard, came back with the bill for the part; it was going to cost me $400.00! He was kind enough to give me a discount and only charged me $371.05!! I had no option at that point. I guess their tech's work on commission!
I am happy that they came out to do the repair, but extremely disappointed with being fleeced and taken advantage of. I would not have objected to a reasonable mark up, or even an emergency service charge, but this is outright fraud! I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company.
I had mailed two separate letters to the company, asking for a written response, and a correction of the charges, but have not received any response from them in any manner, and this is what prompted me to create this review.
Extremely unethical work practice, and taking advantage of their customers. From all the other reviews, I guess they prey on the elderly and people in desperate need.

Don't even waste your time! I called them at 9 o'clock in the morning and they gave me a 12 o'clock appointment which is not too bad to fix a leak as I was without heat and hot water. They never showed at noon so I called them up at 1 o'clock and they said that he was on his way. The bottom line is at 4 o'clock I never heard back from these people and had to call another plumber to do the job.
And when they call you back they call you back from a different number so you have no idea who's calling you. You have been given fair warning
