There is no way to know if they have fair pricing or not before you hire them.  They will not give you a ballpark estimate (I wasn't going to hold them to the estimate; I just wanted a general idea of approximately how much it would be so I could call around and make sure I was getting a fair deal) over the phone.  They will charge you $49 to send someone out to take a look at the issue, and they will only waive that if you decide to hire them.  So if they come out and quote you something WAY more than any other company, you either have to pay them $49 to not hire them, or you have to pay them WAY more than any other company.

I had a great experience with Much Better Plumbing. I am in town for the weekend to visit my grandmother and needed immediate response to make necessary repairs. Their team was the first to respond within minutes and Daniel was at our door in about an hour. He replaced the kitchen sink plumbing, faucet and garbage disposal faster than I knew possible. I had a piece of pvc that connected to the spigot (outside) break off. I used the get a quote option on yelp for a plumber. I described the issue as well as provided pictures. These guys responded within 30 minutes, showed up earlier than the other guys offered, and fixed the issue for way less than the other estimates, all on a Saturday. JJ did the job without hacking into the wall or stucco (like the other guys said they would 'have to do'). Water is back on and the issue is resolved. Definitely will recommend JJ and these guys and would call again if I had plumbing issue.

We thought home water filtration system installed would be a nightmare, it wasn't. We called Saturday and they came right over gave us a quote and were back on Monday for installation. Daren and Alex were great, they installed the system in less than two hours, and made sure we were satisfied and went over the equipment.

I was so lucky that my home warranty company assigned them as my plumber while I called for several plumbing issues. Jerry diagnosed and fixed the problems quickly and even taught me where the issues came from and how to prevent it. I really appreciate his professionalism and politeness during the service. We were having problems with our toilet and another plumbing company (Ideal Plumbing) came out and found a piece of tile in the line. They wanted about $8,000 to Jackhammer the middle of our living room floor to remove the piece of tile.  We called Rant's and they were able to clear  the pipe out without  jackhammering the floor. Plus, his cost was a whole lot less than Ideal's. They were just great!!! We would highly recommend them!

I called Jacks after me water heater stopped working.  They gave me a window for arrival time and communicated that he was on the way. Once the plumber arrived,  he immediately explained the options and that they are closed on the weekends.  I would definitely recommend Jacks for all your plumbing needs.

Luis is very professional and flat out nice. I needed him to connect new RO system to existing refrigerator line. He was showing me what he was doing as he did it. He had to go to store to get a safer part. He was afraid if he used the metal part that he had, it would cause the tube to leak within a year. I will call Luis next time I need a plumber. I feel he is trustworthy, knowledgable and reasonable in cost.

I called MC plumbing as a second opinion when our toilet started having flushing issues.  Aaron came out and we were so happy with his service and the price point.  However, we noticed the toilet was still having issues and he told us it's just the toilet we bought and that it was normal.  We decided to use him to install our water softener and he and an assistant came out to do the job.  The assistant drilled up our sidewalk and left a gaping hole at our doorway.  Aaron accepted responsibility for his assistant and promised to have someone come out to fix the hole.  Three weeks later and he stopped answering our calls/texts.  I reached out to the owner and after some back and forth, the sidewalk was patched.  I called again for someone to come check on the toilet that Aaron had initially fixed and two guys came out and said there was blockage  and quoted me an additional $400 to remove the new toilet and snake the line.  I'm still scratching my head as to why I have to pay additional fees to fix something they were supposed to have fixed months ago.  I wanted to love this company because the price was great and communication was initially excellent.  Now I can't in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Martin Remodeling.  Erick and his team are very professional and skilled.  I had a double iron front door to be installed and interviewed many contractors for the job.  Some declined the work bc they thought it might end up being too complicated and others were going to charge me a ridiculous amount of money for it.   However, I was so happy to have found Martin Remodeling.  Erick gave me a fair price and he was quick to respond back to all my messages which is so important to me.   My front door looks amazing and although it had not been custom made for my entry, Erick got it to fit.  He and his team did a great job!

Called James and advised him I had 3 leaks in my irrigation system.  James quoted me $160 to fix the leaks and said I'd be ALL GOOD.  The next morning I had dampness in the same areas he had worked on.  James returned and said that I now had to pay $450 additional to replace the entire system.. a total of $610 now.  I initially scored One Star on my review, but subsequently James has recontacted me to attempt to correct the problem that exists.  I have declined this offer because I feel the business lacks integrity and professionalism.  I have raised my review to Two Stars.  I still do not recommend them to anyone.
