Best Electricians in San Francisco, CA
Micah and his crew were quick, honest, and thorough. We needed new fixtures and basement wiring. They transformed the former hodge-podge of unsafe wiring into a well-lit, safe, functioning basement.
I was impressed by how careful they were to cover our belongings. These guys were tidy and courteous.
I highly recommend MJS Electric.

The gentleman that helped me, Kfir, was professional and did an outstanding job on helping me with a faulty electrical socket in my garage. The the high marks in the yelp review drove me to use them, and I highly recommend now. Will use use them again (will request Kfir, but I'd say he represents a company culture).

Our non-profit needed to intall a new electrical outlet for a dishwasher. We used Cole Hardware's referral service to get a recommendation. They said BV Electric is who you want for the job. Within the hour, Boris had contacted me!
Boris was available the next day. He arrived on time and completed the job within an hour or so. Boris is professional, curtious and very trustworthy. And he's a nice guy!
We have used him for subsequent jobs and will continue to use him. You should too!

Had Jun (owner) work on my property, referred him to many clients over the last few years. Even connected him with a general contractor who now uses him as his go-to electrician. Every time I receive a thanks if I refer him. They always have a similar response: he was very easy to work with, personable, professional, and reasonable on cost...and don't let the name fool you, he speaks perfect English. I have no hesitation whenever someone asks: Do you know a good electrician? I tell them I have just the guy and give them Jun's number. I can always trust that he will treat his clients with respect, complete their job quickly, and ensure they are happy with his work!

This electrician knows his shit. He put in a 220 line for me on a moment's notice. I'm very picky about clean routing and wiring. He did a great job. I was a little hesitant at first because Mike is rough around the edges. But don't let this fool you. He does a professional job, he knows the codes, and he does good work!
Thanks Mike!

I am so glad to see Advanced Electrical finally on Yelp!...So I can praise Valary to the world!
Valary has been doing electrical work for our company for about 2 years now. We formally had a different electrician...who did somewhat of a spotty job. Valary came into our establishment and thoroughly identified every electrical outlet, electrical panel and wiring system. With this information we have been able to create an entire electrical plan on our floor plans. This has been invaluable!
Our office building is old and we have new needs frequently. Valary is always quick to accomodate our requests and thoroughly addresses our needs by sizing up the situation. He is happy to answer questions for us and has gone as far as trouble-shooting electric items/tools ... not part of a typical electricians job, but he does it none-the-less.
Valary is always professional, punctual, cleans up after himself (I love that!), and does a darn good job!

These guys are wonderful. They installed a Tesla Charger to our deeded parking space in our condo. They work diligently with HOA to get approval for the work. They are punctual and very professional. I would highly recommend this company especially if you live in a condo or apartment. They can do the work where other electricians that I have called said that it is impossible.

Had a 220V outlet installed in my garage to be used for an EV/ Tesla charger. David and Genius gave a quote (masked). QE helped me obtain the permit. And David and Genius came back a couple of weeks later and did a clean, fantastic job. Great price. Would hire for other electrical work

My old microwave malfunctioned and ruined my GFCI outlet in my kitchen. Got a quick quote from Jeffrey and he got my GFCI fixed first thing the next day. Also got my 2-way lighting issue on my staircase sorted out. Highly recommend them.

Eric has done several projects for us, we've been happy with the results, and we'll keep calling him for electrical needs. He's rewired our bathroom, put in lights in our basement hall and garden, installed a level 2 EV charger for our new electric car in our garage, and done all the work for a garden office room we built (on a tight budget). Our tenants also had some problems with their hall light and he repaired it right away. We've got an old building. He's very future-oriented, so I trust him to do work that doesn't get in the way of future projects we have to do on our house

Our washer-dryer unit was making a really loud noise. This started over the holidays so I wasn't able to find someone to do the repairs. I went on Thumbtack and connected with Fuse on a Sunday and had a morning appointment with Alex on Tuesday. I really appreciated that I got an email and text confirmation of the appointment.
Tuesday morning I got a text message letting me know that Alex was en route. He showed up, reviewed the machine, and within minutes diagnosed the problem. He also had all the parts necessary to make the repair. In less than 45m everything was fixed and Alex even helped me clean the floor before moving the washer back in place.
5 stars for Alex!
Prompt and outstanding service!

Matt S. provided an excellent EV charger experience from the quote through installation. Showed up on time and finished within time estimated. I had to get this review out as I was so excited and pleased with the project. There is just one more task he is managing in getting a review scheduled with the inspector.

We had a couple of circuits that would lose power but the circuit breakers had not popped. We called David and he managed to get by the same day to look at the situation. He could not find any problem with the circuit breakers or the panel, so he checked the PGE panel with the meter. He found that the panel was badly corroded due to the fog we have here constantly. He gave me an estimate for replacing the panel, which seemed reasonable. He scheduled the permit, inspector, and PG&E to be involved in the replacement. On the day scheduled, he showed up on time, completed his part in time for the inspector and PG&E to approve and reconnect the service ahead of his originally estimated time. He also built a wooden box around the panel to protect it from the fog to delay corrosion in the future. He cleaned up thoroughly after the work was done. David is very easy to work with and knowledgeable of what needs to be done.

I needed to have an attic fan installed in a gable vent, all the way across my narrow attic from the access door. Josue was quick to give a quote via the Yelp messaging feature, the price was great, and he was extremely responsive via Yelp messaging and via phone.
It turned out that the job was a little bit more complicated than initially expected, but the team went the extra mile and made sure to take care of everything that I needed to get the fan installed. They even showed me a video of the completed install taken from the attic.
An enthusiastic five stars - they are local and so I know I will be calling again for future projects!

These guys have gone above and beyond to keep things in working order around the house I manage. Larry & his team are hard working and a pleasure to be around - they always seem to find a way to make things better with each visit! Whether it's getting their hands dirty or helping with a technical challenge or project, they can do it all. So grateful for HH.

We used OG Electric to install recess lights in the living room in a plaster ceiling of our 1940s home. Oswaldo was very responsive on Yelp, competitive on price, and was able to get our job scheduled promptly for the following week. Jesus and Byron on his team both were very knowledgable, had a great attitude and cleaned up well after the work was complete. Even working with plaster walls and ceilings, they did the work with minimal holes and patched everything afterward. The recess lights look great and make our room much more enjoyable.

The electrician arrived 1.5 hours late for our appointment. Although we had requested that he wear booties in the house, he didn't bring them. He said he would go out to buy booties and then return shortly to do the work. He never returned. When I called into the office to find out where he was (after I waited a total of 3 hours from our original appointment time), the scheduler told me that he had just texted her to say he was sick. Given this extremely unprofessional behavior, we decided to go with another company for the work. The new company was less expensive, prompt, and extremely professional. I recommend that you avoid using Sierra Electric

I had a really good experience with these guys. They sent over an electrician named Miguel who was professional, friendly and knew his stuff. I had a bunch of small jobs that needed to be done, mostly switching out light fixtures and fixing the door bell and everything is working great now. The prices were fair and they were able to get out to me quickly (unlike some of the other electricians that told me they could get to me in 2-3 weeks). Oh, and even the admin who took the appointment was super friendly. I'll use them again for any future work I need.

Totally unprofessional and not respectful of your time.
I was connected to Byington through my property manager after a light switch stopped working in our apartment. I spoke to Alan and, when he was unable to send someone out before we went out of town for a few days, we agreed upon a date for 2 weeks later. The day arrives and the electrician never comes. Odd and particularly annoying as I have two toddlers and keeping them both home to wait for someone is tough. After 2 hours of waiting, I called to see what was happening and am told Alan is out sick but that our technician is out in the field. The receptionist said she'd call me back. Several hours later, she calls me back to reschedule. I asked if it was possible for someone to come out that day (the light switch is in one of my kids' rooms and we'd really like it fixed!). She says that they cannot and that my technician is out sick. Yikes. Sounds like there's a lot of illness going around. (Unsurprisingly, when reading the reviews, I read several other customers who'd had trouble with no-shows and when calling in, being told the techs were out sick.
I agreed to reschedule for another day and she asks me if someone can come Monday. I'm unavailable during the time slot she has and I ask if we can do Tuesday. No. How about Thursday? Nope, but they can do Friday. I tell her I can't do that day and I hear her talkign to someone else in the office. She puts me on hold and then the man who she was talking to gets on the line. You need to give us some times that work for us so we can come out to do this. I tell him I've given a few times the following week but can't do the days the receptionist suggested. He proceeds to berate me for not having more availability. I calmly told him that I'd speak to my property manager to see if she has any other electricians who might have more availability and he says fine, do what you want and hangs up on me.
So, to recap: Byington makes an appointment, does not show up for scheduled appointment time, refuses to send another technician out when their first didn't show up, and then yelled at me for not catering to their schedule when rescheduling the appointment.
No thank you. Luckily for me, my property manager has a thick rolodex and was only too happy to connect me to another company. She will no longer use Byington for any of her properties and if you want a professional company, I'd look elsewhere.
