I had Edwin work on two projects for me:
1) replace a broken GFCI outlet
2) replace 10 old fluorescent recessed lights with LED recessed lights
Both projects were completed efficiently and quickly. The prices were very reasonable and no surprise this will cost you more type of situations. Edwin showed up on time and was prepared for any issues that may come up on the job. I already have other projects lined up for him. I definitely would recommend him for any electrical issues you may have.

Very happy to have found Edwin. I am a homeowner in Santa Clarita and needed an electrician to come out and troubleshoot why my rental house was without power for half of the house. To Be honest, I called and messaged a lot of businesses on yelp. Majority unavailable, Some didn't handle residential problems like this and what size Edwin only one other business responded. I don't list available to podcast and based on his reviews confidence, he would give me a straight price and fix it right away. He arrived within the estimated time he said he would and had fixed the issue right away. Flat price. I was able to be invoiced and payed via Zelle which was very convenient because i dont live local and I hate, bothering my tenant to pay, and then have to reimburse her or deal with a deduct from the rent. Edwin responded to my message in 10 minutes and was at my house within an hour. He found that we had an outlet shorted due to the rain, but also discovered another issue that was causing electrical issues in our home. What started out as a seemingly simple outlet repair ended up as a more complicated issue but he stuck with it, found the problem, and didn't change the original quote. We now have power again! Highly recommend.

We were looking for someone that could do the wiring and trench work to install Tesla wall connectors to our detached garage and Edwin was highly recommended by my family as he is licensed. Electric Charger Installation was great, but we noticed our AC stopped working and had to have repair people out 2 weeks later. Turns out Edwin's assistant didn't connect the power cable back correctly after finishing the job. The AC repairman said the power cable was barely hanging. I liked these guys, but 2 stars since I had to pay for AC people to come out

I have been using E4 Electric for many years. They are very responsive and get the job done! I have used them to wire and upgrade my electrical panel, install an EV charging station, and to troubleshoot power outages. Edwin is very professional and reasonable with his prices. Edwin is the guy to call for all your electrical needs! I normally don't write Yelp reviews unless I've experienced exceptional or appalling service, but I'm so grateful that I get to write this review about Edwin's services.

Short story is he is dependable, honest, punctual, and very fair in pricing. His helper, Luis, is just as friendly too. I didn't feel worried at all thinking there would be sketchy workers in my house. I was even able to trust them being in my house alone for several hours while I had some errands to run. Just goes to show that good people do exist! Not only that, but Edwin is transparent and will let you know what and why he's doing every step of the way. You won't be disappointed with him. He's earned my trust and he will be the first and only person I recommend to others for electrical work.

Long story:
I am a first time home owner and I was very intimidated with all the repairs I would be needing, but Edwin definitely helped me feel better about the process and did not take advantage of my ignorance. He told me the issues straight up, no frills, and didn't try to up-sell me on anything. I needed a full house rewire due to the house being built in the 40's. I also wanted a panel upgrade due to my ancient panel. I called him on the number listed on his Yelp page around 1PM on a Thursday and he was able to take a look at the issues the same day. He came just as scheduled, gave me a quote that night, and he and Luis got to working the next few days. The panel upgrade passed the city inspection immediately (shows his attention to detail!) and a big plus is they help clean up any messes made. They were even considerate enough to neatly cut up the drywall and leave the pieces behind for me to patch up.

A contract is drafted too so I never felt worried he was going to run away with my money. Not only that, but he keeps his word too on his warranty. A month later, one of my GFCI outlets kept tripping and Edwin still gave me the same attention to detail as when we had first talked. He made time for me the next morning and replaced the outlet due to a faulty circuit inside the parts (so this definitely wasn't his fault during the first run.) He was very responsive, attentive, and respectful even though I wasn't giving him new work that time.

TL;DR: Talk to Edwin for your electrical needs!! He is fairly priced, honest, transparent, and friendly. Connect with him if you want high quality service!!

I own a 1925 Spanish home in the City of Inglewood, and have been doing a lot of repairs and upgrades to prepare my home for sale. I ordered a new wall oven, but when it was delivered, the tech told me that I needed a large enough beaker for the new oven to work properly. So, I started my search on Yelp to find an electrician will great reviews to add the new breaker and dedicated new wire. After no response or very delayed response from the other top rated electrical companies on Yelp, I decided to give E4 Electric my business since Edwin was really the only one of the bunch to take time to follow up with me without delay. We scheduled a conciliation to verify what needed to be done, which most companies won't spend the time to do, and then setup a date the same week to upgrade the breaker to 30 amp for the new oven specification.

Edwin came on time with an assistant. They are both very professional and got the job done quick without interrupting my focus while working from home. Edwin even answered all of my questions about the breaker size and the new wire pull path.

Edwin also told me that he did another breaker upgrade for another client who had a similar issue with a 20 amp breaker that was not large enough to support the wall oven, and when it was upgraded the oven worked fine. So he suggested we leave the existing oven in place when the breaker was upgraded and new wire pulled to see if my old oven would work again. Well it did, and that saved me about $2,000 cost of the new oven and installation cost.

I also asked Edwin to change out a dining room light fixture, which worked out well.

I would definitely recommend E4 Electric for home electrical issues and upgrades. Edwin is very knowledgeable, professional, honest and a nice person. Gets the job done, and makes good recommendations that make sense.

Our house is currently getting remodeled and the electrician that was working on our wiring messed-up our meter reading which caused our ac unit to go out. I explained to Edwin the issue and he came to our home to evaluate the situation. He was prompt, polite, and wore a mask (which we appreciate). He told my husband that we needed to call Edison to make sure that the power lines going to our home wasn't damage. When Edison got here, they said it's good we called because there could've been major damage if some wirings were put together. Edison mentioned there was a faulty electrical connector that caused only one good leg to work (whatever that means), which could've blown up. So glad we prevented that from happening.

Anyways, the problem was fixed and we are so thankful for Edwin's advice. He really knows what he's doing and is good at it. Thank you again!

Edwin worked quickly with me to setup a time to come by and provide a fair estimate. He was quick, and knowledgeable, and he had an estimate for me that evening. He even was able to get to work even a few days earlier than we had initially scheduled. On the day of work he was punctual, and worked efficiently. There are two types of companies out there with 5 star reviews. There are the ones that when a project is done the owner constantly asks for reviews/ buys reviews (of course the service does not reflect the great reviews) Then there are the other companies that are actually amazing and have worked hard to get there reviews. E4 Electric is the second company! They are dependable, reliable, honest, clean and efficient! We hired E4 to do
our electrical panel after many quotes and decided to chose them due to his quick reply and professionalism. During the entire time he communicated, and kept us posted on the entire project. Once he was done the work was impeccable and super clean. I don't love the process of fixing the house but E4 electric made it easy and painless. In addition Edwin the owner seems like a trustworthy and an honest gentleman. I think it's important to chose small businesses with strong work ethics especially during this time! First I will like to thank Edwin for responding ASAP through yelp messenger ! I was in a desperate need of a electrician for my new home .I ordered a new electric stove that was unable to be installed since my new home did not have the correct outlet .I needed to have a 220 volt outlet installed for my new stove. Edwin is amazing. His work is really professional, explained every nicely and thoroughly.

Needed the following installed:
2x 64 fans
1x 42 fan
1x nest thermostat
1x ring door bell (current door bell didnt work)

As with any job, we encountered some issues:
#1, the doorbell needed a complete rewire.
#2, one of the 64 came with a bad motor.
#3, in my master bedroom I needed my ceiling reinforced in order to be able to install the 64 fan.

Edwin took each issue head on and with a positive attitude.

There are no words to explain his efforts.

He made sure to troubleshoot and explain the reasoning behind every decision he made.

I was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend.

A few weeks ago, power went out in a part of our house and it was more than just tripping a breaker. We called Edwin who was able to come out the next day. So. Back in the winter of 2019, before things got really weird, we had a little casita built in our backyard. Long story short, the contractor didn't do a very good job on the new electrical.

Cut to Memorial Day weekend: There's a pandemic; it's hot; I'm dealing with angsty teenagers who've been stuck at home and totally side-lined; when the problem outlet goes out in the middle of the night.... which had our garage-refrigerator plugged into it. Of course it did. Of. Course.

So there we are, 6:30am on a Saturday, desperately in need of haircuts, in our jammies, running a bunch of defrosting meat through the yard to get to the house freezer. Sigh. (our dog got out after that due to the power outage as well, but that's a whole other nightmare. ... she's fine, but jeez-whiz.) We tried to reset the breaker thingy and the box actually SPARKED and then the power went out for the entire casita. Um, hi, no thanks. This is a job for someone who knows what the heck they're doing.
We contact our original contractor, since they had just installed it 3 months prior... 3 hours later, no response.

So, I got on to Yelp and looked up a local electrician. I called Edwin, and he was at our house in 20 minutes! That alone is enough to get at least 4 stars from me. He looked it over. Walked through the casita, investigating everything. Another star for thoroughness.

He told us that he knew exactly what the problem was, but that he wasn't going to fix it until we consulted with our original contractors, since it was their bad, and he didn't want to take our money for a problem that they needed to address. 10 more stars for integrity.

Edwin reset the breaker properly, got the rest of the power on to the casita and warned us to keep the fridge-outlet off until the OG contractor could come out. (They came out yesterday, fixed the problem and went on their way. We filled the bonus fridge with beer and were ready to relax.... guess what. Yup. It's out again. That's a whole other Oprah though, and a different type of yelp review. Grr.)

Anyway, back to Edwin. He was prompt, paid attention to detail, diagnosed the problem in a timely manner and is fairly priced. We look forward to having him come out and do some outdoor lighting for our yard. We will also likely write-off our previous contractor and have Edwin fix their wonky fustercluck of a wiring job. We need cold beer, after all. Definitely consider E4 Electric, and Edwin Gomez when in need of an electrician.

Like other reviewers said, Edwin was amazing. Last night the outlet to the fridge and the living room light stopped working. To me, a working fridge is one of the most important things in the house. I assumed the outages were linked.

So my husband contacted him through yelp last night and Edwin said he could stop by the next afternoon. He came 15 min earlier than he said he would. (YAY! The sooner the better for me). He went right to work and fixed what he needed to fix to make the fridge and light work, AND within an hour!!! (not sure exactly what he did since I don't know diddly about electric stuff). But Awesome!!! It works!!!!

He also gave us some advice about rewiring the house since this is an old house but wasn't pushy about it at all.

I just completed a 6-month remodeling project. Edwin was the electrician that did all the electrical work on my project. He's very professional and helped act as a sounding board when I was configuring some of the last minute wirings in the house.

Attached are photos where the in-ceiling lighting was totally redone by adding twice the amount of lights. Lights were added and the old ones replaced with current LED in-ceiling lights. He also installed two pendant lights above the dining table.

Two AV racks were installed and he installed all home theatre wiring for two home theaters. He worked together with a customer cabinet designer to configure where all the necessary wiring had to be installed during construction of my entertainment center.

I installed a commercial type electrical oven and needed an extra circuit from the electrical panel. He was able to locate an unused circuit so I did not have to replace the electrical panel. This saved me $3k.

He also installed in and under cabinets kitchen and bar wall cabinets. Coaxial and phone line were also relocated. He was able to trouble and issue with my phones due to a line filter from the cable company. Now it works perfectly.

The only issue I had was with his coaxial terminations on my cable lines. The cable company replaced all the ends so now my cable works.

I will be hiring him this winter for another extensive project when my rental will be remodeled.

He is very pleasant to work with and get the job done for a fair price.

Edwin is a solid dude. He doesn't cut corners. I will go into some details, but suffice to say the very last thing he did on my project was label the breaker box, which he did not do in a sharpie, but instead typed and numbered each label, then laminated the label and affixed it the box door. This is above and beyond in my experience -- most cases you're lucky if you get a few chicken scratches.

Now for some details. Edwin and his team did everything on my ground up build, from rough work during framing to finish work at the end. No rubber coated Romex from this guy, all the wiring done with metal conduit, wall plates and connectors were installed with precision and he took my over the top requests in stride.

I also had him do nearly a mile of CAT 6 cable and added connectors to what seemed 100 end points. Then he hooked up my switch and the rest of my equipment (although I think he learned a few things from me about how to organize a network closet -- racks and so forth).

He's responsive, helpful and a genuinely good dude. And he loves the Dodgers.

I needed a faulty breaker replaced and also wanted to have separate, dedicated lines to my washer, dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher located in my kitchen. (I wanted to get rid of the haunted house effect when using too many appliances at once). Edwin responded quickly to my call and replaced the bad breaker the same day he came out. After texting me a written quote for the 4 new lines, he was able to come out within a few days to do the work. He was right on time and brought a worker with him. There was a lot to do, with one in the crawl space under the house and Edwin doing the interior work. They accomplished the work professionally, in one day, and in 106 degree heat. They had excellent communication during the work making it more efficient. Both Edwin and Luis are nice, down-to-earth guys, doing high quality work for a fair price. They cleaned up the kitchen nicely and labeled the new breakers with a Sharpie. I will definitely hire E4 Electric again when I need their services. (I have a lighting project in mind for the living room). I already referred Edwin to my next door neighbor who needs electrical services. Houses built in 1953 need some work and TLC. I will gladly refer Edwin again to any friends or neighbors who ask.

Wow! I was having some problems with my vending machine. It keeps tripping the breaker. I called E4 Electric and they told me to take a picture of the breaker panel. Highly recommended, Edwin is very accommodating & very prompt on appointments. We had an early Saturday appointment to install multiple LED recessed lights & fixing multiple broken outlets in our kitchen that my wife requested for some reason. Edwin & his brother were right on time, but we were not, having 2 little toddlers & a pregnant wife, it was hard to prepare that early, but Edwin was very understanding (he is a family man himself so he knows how it is) and came back at a later time for us to get ready and prepare.

Even with most of our belongings still in place, Edwin tried to minimize any mess made with the installation which is great especially with little ones running around. After the installation, Edwin and his brother took their time cleaning up whatever they could with their shop vac which is nice.

The installation & repair took about several hours but they were consistently installing the lights (we had about 18 installed in several different rooms). Price was very reasonable, and the work was immaculate. Wife loved it. Thanks again Edwin!

I had requested a quote from Edwin and he was the cheapest and fastest to respond. I didn't have to wait long to get any response from him. He came over to install my outlet but we ran into a few studs in the wall. I didnt want to do damage to the wall or studs since I live in an apartment. What made him stand out against the rest was his knowledge expressed through his questions to ensure he was quoting me accurately and to my needs. E4 Electric is seriously the best! We had a very very serious problem with our master panel which had never been changed since 1925. Since moving into our house 3 years ago we kept having to replace fuzes in order to keep our all of our stuff running, which let me tell you effing sucks. Edwin came over and immediately hooked us up with a temporary fix until the city came over to explain how we needed to set up a new main panel. Once the city provided direction, Edwin jumped to action and began the project right away. We had many challenges with our project and Edwin was able to make us feel like it was no big deal and made the whole thing painless. When the city inspector came to sign off on the new panel, he literally said that the job looked AMAZING sooo let's just take his word on that. He was able to inspect and repair our issue, as well as install smoke and carbon detectors, even though it wasn't included in our initial request. Edwin did a great job installing a Ring Floodlight Cam in my backyard. Edwin has incredible communication via the Yelp app and quick responses too. His pricing is fair and he is extremely professional. It is obvious that Edwin is confident in his trade and provided an excellent service. He was able to quickly install/replace an old backdoor porch light and upgraded me to the Ring Floodlight Cam. He is familiar with the Ring Floodlight system which made the installation and set up even easier. Great guy and I highly recommend him. I'm positive I have found my go to electrician. I already set up a few additional projects with Edwin over the next few months.

Edwin is incredibly knowledgeable and reliable. He is my go to guy for all of my electrical needs. Edwin did a wonderful job of installing 3 LED lights and also fixed a broken GFCI switch. Not only was Edwin timely in addressing my issue but he rearranged his busy schedule on a Friday to complete my job. Very honest, fair pricing and great craftsmanship. I highly recommend Edwin for any electrical needs. I was so impressed with his work that I requested a quote for additional work for additional outlets in my backyard. He is great at responding via text and via the yelp app.

We had a great experience. Edwin replaced two bathroom light fixtures, rewired a broken outlet, did trouble shooting on a second outlet, and installed 3 Ring spotlight cameras. He was very responsive, his quote was competitive, and he did the job efficiently. He was also personable and approachable, plus flexible with our work schedules. He was great with the Ring products and knew how the setup process worked once they had power. I'd recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him next time we need electrical work.

Edwin responded quickly, gave us an estimate, and completed the work quickly and efficiently-sticking to the estimate even though the job was more complicated and time consuming than anticipated. I am actually reluctant to let others know how amazing he is as I think he is going to become very, very busy and possibly not as able to provide service as quickly in the future because he will become well known for being SUPER.
We have a double convection oven that died on us. The appliance repairman told us we'd need to buy 2, maybe all 3 of the circuit boards to get it operational, and suggested we have an electrician take a look at the wiring to be safe. Enter Edwin. Our wiring was completely insufficient for the amps needed to run our appliance, and he spent quite a bit of time running new lines and overcoming obstacles in doing so (replacing inadequate wiring with much thicker wiring that should have been installed in the first place when previous owners did remodel).
Once he finished, he asked us to test our oven again because it is a quality appliance that should have a fuse built in to protect the components.
Aaaand he was 100% correct-It fired right up and works perfectly. Edwin saved us $3000-$4000 that repairs or a new oven would have cost us. He is a wonderful electrician, knowledgeable, great at his job, personable, respectful, and HONEST.

Now please don't use him too much 'cause he is our go-to for anything electrical from now on!

Edwin the electrician is very prompt & courteous. He was able to diagnose the problem we had with our in ground sub pump and fixed it. Another time we had a problem with the pool motor. He was able to troubleshoot and found the frayed wires & repaired it. He also added an additional light switch in the living room. For ALL your electrical needs I highly recommend E4 Electric. His prices are very competitive.

I am always skeptical of Yelp reviews but I gave Edwin a try and can honesty say it was the best service. He was responsive to my quote request and arrived early to the estimate visit. He even fixed my electrical short (temporarily) when he came to look at the project with no charge. He sent the email quote in a timely manner and was available the next day to fix the issue. He was very professional and did a clean job on the project. I will definitely call him back for future projects.

My experience with Edwin was great! He was able to cone out and replace my broken AC disconnect box the same day I contacted him. He also identified and repaired some poor electrical work that was done before I purchased my home. What really stood out was his excellent and prompt communication during the process. I lost power to the whole back of the house where the kitchen is. I tried to reset the breaker but it broke in my hand. I tried to get a family member to fix it for me but they wisely told me to get an electrician, so I tried asking for help through yelp messenger and Edwin was able to come out Monday morning since he is nearby. He was able to get a new breaker and fixed it immediately for a reasonable price. He was so kind and patient and answered all my questions and didn't try to upsell me. As a senior citizen on a limited income, I appreciated that. I would definitely hire him again or recommend him to friends and family!

When I first called E4 Electric I didn't know what to expect but I'm so glad they were the ones we decided to contact when we lost power throughout different parts of our home. Edwin even offered to come out the same day I called even though it was close to the end of their work day. He was professional, knew what he was doing and didn't take advantage of us by charging us an arm and a leg! Edwin was great to work with from start to finish. He had great communication both through the messages on yelp and texts, upfront pricing, and an easy schedule to work with. I had him install new recessed lighting and ceiling fans in multiple rooms, all of which came out looking great! If you need a solid, licensed electrician to work with look no further.

I was looking for an electrician to come out and install recesses lighting, new electrical lines for extra fans and another for an island light in the kitchen. I am so glad I found Edwin. 1st off he is extremely professional, came out on time, explained process to me and got to work within no time. Secondly, his prices are extremely competitive, I had gotten a few over the phone estimates but he is the one who asked to come see the house for an accurate estimate. And lastly, he is so easy to reach for any other questions or extra work. He is an honest individual. Will definitely use him in the future. I'm not one to write reviews. But it is difficult to find honest, professional, hard working people. And thought I should share my great experience.

If you need electrical work promptly with a reasonable price, Edwin Gomez is the gentleman! Recently, I need to replace my 40 year-old light fixture, add an additional one with a new electrical outlet, Edwin called me the same day and came the next day after I posted my request online.
