We can also perform repairs using our in-house contractor's license: Sunpro Remodeling LLC ROC Lic# 277053. Either way, the same skilled tradesmen will perform the repairs.

HISTORY

Established in 1998.
In-depth knowledge of bee behavior and bee biology is required to successfully remove bees. We began in 1992 as commercial beekeepers providing crop pollination services to farmers in Arizona and California. We also produced honey in the Arizona desert and the Flagstaff area. While keeping bees, we recognized the need for a professionally operated bee removal service in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. We began providing full-time bee removal service during March 1998. Since that time we have successfully performed more than 90,000 bee swarm, bee rescue, and honeycomb removal and related construction repair jobs all across the Phoenix metro area including Carefree, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Gold Canyon, Glendale, Phoenix, Sun City, Tempe, Maricopa, Buckeye, etc. Superior Knowledge of Bee Behavior and Bee Biology enhances our Bee Removal Success.

we called total bee control because we had a HUGE hive under the roof eave, second story. Tyller from Total Bee came out and was very knowledgeable and thorough (he drilled a small hole in the wooden structure of the eave and inserted a small camera to make sure there was no honey comb inside, and he used a blower to clean up the dead bees). Whole process took only about 30 minutes! they will also remove bees and relocate them, but the ones on our house were africanized so we chose to have them exterminated. highly recommend!

I have found the Beekeeper on Yelp and have used them twice. The first time I had a hole in a brick building and the bee's created a huge bee hive and they pulled out 50 pounds of honeycomb.

The second time was just a few weeks ago and I found bee's in a water meter hole. I called Beekeeper's and was surprised that someone was available and came out the same day. I was not at the location but they called me and I was able to tell them the location of the bee's. They took are of it very quickly.

Beekeeper's called me a week later for the invoice and got this all taken care of. Very convenient.

The Beekeeper is very professional and has taken care of all my bee hive problems. If you have a bee hive issue, give them a call. They are my go to bee hive removal company and will for sure use them again

Bees decided to set up their home inside the exterior wall of my garage. I chose The Beekeeper because of their testimonials and humane approach for handling bee removal. Every time I called to schedule an appointment, Cheri would get back to me within an hour and had me scheduled within the next 48 hours.

While it took the team a few times to track down the honeycomb, they didn't charge me for subsequent visits and were always very thorough in their checks. Jake was my primary technician and I can't say enough great things about him. He was extremely courteous, respectful, and helpful in explaining the action plan for removing the comb. While I was bummed that we had to exterminate the bees as the queen was just not accessible, we had to take that course as they were starting to disturb my neighbors and were attacking my landscapers. I had the option to leave the honeycomb in the wall, but when Jake explained that the honey could eventually rot the wall and/or attract unwanted critters, I decided to have him extract...and boy am I glad I did (see the pics)!

Jake and Marino did a great job in restoring the stucco...I can't even tell that there was any work done to my exterior!

I wholeheartedly recommend The Beekeeper for efficient bee removal and overall honesty, commitment, and great service.

Discovered a bee hive in one of our exterior walls.  Called The Beekeeper.  Jake came out within a few hours to spray the hive and get them under control.  A few days later, Marino came out to open up the wall and remove the hive.  Both techs were very courteous and answered all my questions about the procedures they were going to do.  Marino did an awesome job of patching the wall after he did all necessary work inside the wall.  Highly recommend this company.

These guys were great. We had a bee issue with our neighbors bush and that complicated things. The bees were coming in our dog door and over run our dogs run area. It was very stressful & they were great dealing with us because we had to get neighbors permission. They came I felt like it was a little expensive but the big guys charged only $50 less and it did nothing. So there fee was a little more but took care of the issues without killing bees. They took a lot of time evaluating the situation. Compared to the regular pest control people their knowledge seemed impressive to me. The guy took 45 min looking, feeling the plant, smelling & just examining the area & gave his recommendations & by the next day only a couple bees left within the week it was clear. Definitely worth the money. I'll do that again just so I can enjoy the pool!

This company is amazing. I had an issue where I needed to remove honey from my walls (which a previous bee removal company neglected to do). First off, they made an appointment to be at my house first thing the next morning. The man who came, James, was incredibly knowledgeable and competent. He knew exactly how to look into the problem areas of my walls to figure out where there was honey without making very many holes. When he located all the areas with honey and gave me the bid, he said he could remove the honey right then--and did. This has been an issue for ages, and it was resolved expertly in ONE DAY after calling this company.

Additionally, James himself was wonderful. He was extraordinarily respectful of me, my house, and my dog, and had a calming energy and great sense of humor which made a very agitating situation of bees in the walls seem completely manageable.

We found a beehive on our back shed on a Wednesday and called The Beekeeper Total Bee control Thursday around noon and Jake came out that afternoon! Thankfully they were able to address the issue that day and within 15 minutes of arriving! He smoked out most of the bees and gave a remedy of how to keep them away in the future!

This was my 2nd bee hive colony, so I already knew that as long as the bees weren't aggressive, there was no need to hit the panic button.

I used a different company back in 2018 to remove some seriously aggressive bees. The guy who came out was a flat out jerk. He made it seem like I was inconveniencing him on a Sunday afternoon. Its simple, if you dont want the job, don't answer the phone! He killed all the bees and I was left to clean up the mess of dead bees, poisoned honey and honeycomb. No advice or pointers on clean up and no referrals to someone that could.

Fast forward to April 2021. I called The Beekeepers. From the phone call and on, NIGHT AND DAY difference in service. Sam, the tech who came out, was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He told me about their process and what it really takes to do a proper removal, clean up and future prevention. They are so sure of their process that they offer an outstanding warranty IN WRITING if you use their company for the entire process.

Needless to say, yes I had them do the work and yes, this is the only company I will use in the future. Period.

I had bees in my garage wall and I called The BeeKeeper late on a Saturday, and they had Jake come out the next day on a Sunday.  He called me when he was on his way and was very professional.  He inspected and was able to do the extermination, removal, and clean up effectively and all for a great reasonable price.

Thanks, to Jake and The BeeKepper I appreciated you guys.

I will be calling them anytime I have bee trouble in the future. I highly recommend the service.

Incredible service!  First off, I had so much wrong advice from pest control companies, that I was thrilled to find a competent company that knows what they are doing.  The Beekeeper only works with bees, wasps, yellow jackets and bumble bees.  The are specialists and will safely remove bee hives which can be set up within days.  They work 24/7/365... so I encourage you not to waste your time with exterminators and only call The Beekeeper.

We would like to say how grateful we are to Marino Cliffton for being the tech for The Beekeeper who helped us with our epic bee matter. My husband and I are grateful for this kind and professional young man that handled our problem for us on May 1,2nd and 3rd.  We feel a sense of peace now that the job was done correctly and with someone who treated this situation like it was his own problem. Thank you and we hope wish the world had more people like Marino.

Out of nowhere, an enormous swarm of bees took over my backyard in Tempe and decided my oleander was a great place to hang out. We immediately called the Bee Keeper on a Friday afternoon. James was at my house in an hour and it took less than 30 min to safely box up these little buggers. He estimated about 4500 honeybees- yikes! Super professional, extremely knowledgeable and definitely recommend these guys! Feels good to know these little bees have a chance to thrive on Tyler farms and I plan on stopping by there soon to pick up some local honey! Thanks James for taking care of us and for these cool pictures!

We called as soon as we saw the bees on the side of our house. It was a Monday night and they let us know someone would be out the next morning between 8-10. They showed up at 8:15 and got right to work! It only took about 20-30 minutes before he was done. No hassle or needing to come in my house. He was very pleasant and efficient as well. He also said if they are still not gone in 5 days he would come back out, no problem. They were all gone after only two days though. Highly recommend The Beekeeper!

We highly recommend The Beekeepers. They got back to me after hours via email and were super responsive to get a technician out ASAP. The work done by Mariano was fantastic. Marino was courteous, prompt, worked efficiently, and explained all the steps and what to expect well. We had him come back for a second issue on another day and again he was awesome.
I have zero hesitation to call The Beekeepers again if any future bee concerns arise.

I would highly recommend The Beekeeper

Just had James come and take care of a bee issue that I spotted just yesterday. He was very knowledgeable and friendly about the bees. He handled himself well and in a professional manner. I was impressed with how it was all handled.  He was able to give me many options and recommendations on what our next game plan is for total removal.  I am thankful that he was able to come out promptly so we can get a handle on everything that needs to happen.

We found bees in a wall of our patio. We Called The Beekeeper Friday afternoon they  set up an appointment to be at my home early Saturday morning 7am. Tech Jake arrived promptly, he was very professional took an assessment and gave me an estimate. When he tore off the portion of wall he found that the hive was very small and he adjusted his price accordingly. I found the Beekeeper to be an honest and trustworthy company. Thank you Jake the Beekeeper.

On the phone, they said they charge $175 to remove wasps nest in attic using a camera to located and remove.  In reality, all the guy did was spray the opening they were going in and out.  That they charged $175 (and then also said no guarantee, which they didn't say on the phone).

These guys are great! I thought I had a bee problem and Nick got to my house within 20 minutes...ON A SATURDAY! Turns out that the bees were just foraging which is apparently normal during the hot and dry summer. Nick did a full inspection and didn't charge me anything to do it.

He was very knowledgeable and professional...I highly recommend The Beekeeper.

Scott arrived promptly. He was friendly. He checked out the area. He knew right away what type of bee was making a nest in my wall. They were the harmless carpenter bees that just make a nest, have babies and leave. He explained everything to me, sprayed the area and other potential problem areas. Since the area is now sprayed and the hole plugged, the bees will look for a new home, either in my house or elsewhere. I don't want them taking up residence in my home--they don't pay rent! He even knocked down and sprayed a mud wasp nest too. Other than that my home is fine, phew.

But the price of $150 just to find out this  information and to only have areas sprayed is quite steep for someone who isn't working. For that reason I would love to take away one star but I can't because I'm terrified of insects. And then again, at least it's good to know it's not the Africanized bees.

The man that answered the phone this morning was kind of nice. It could've been too that I didn't know what to say HAHAHA. I just discovered the bees last night and had no sleep. He wasn't bad...really.

Would I use them again? Yes, but I better not have to! Or those bees owe me rent ;-)

This company was a complete life saver when we noticed bees flying around the roof corner of our outdoor patio in the morning. We have two young children so we take these things very seriously. We called our local pest control but they didn't handle bee removals so they recommended The Beekeeper. We called them and explained that we had a bee problem. To our surprise they came out immediately to remedy the situation and it's good thing they did! By the time they had arrived the light swarm we had originally noticed had turned into a massive hive of bees dangling from the corner of the roof line! The technician, Marino, handled them with ease and quickly removed them from our premises. Thank you very much for being so efficient!

Needless to say I had a serious cockroach problem. I contacted Beekeeper and they came out. I had honey in my walls that had to be removed. Dan came out, he was very professional and very thorough removing every bit of honey. Its cost over a grand!!! Pretty expensive but the job got done. The pest control came out a week later and saw there was still honey, I called Dan right away and he came out to assess the situation. Of course it cost MORE money which sucked because I thought the work was warranted but I finally got the cockroach problem rectified so I'm happy. He sanitized and cleared out all the dead cockroaches in that area. He patched up the walls so well I couldn't tell where he cut the walls open. Thanks Dan!

After two weeks of dealing with a competitor who did not specialize in Bee removal we chose to cut our losses when the problem got ten times worse and more lives were in danger.  The Bees went from occupying a small space to a large aggressive swarm.  Even though it was a holiday Cody made time for us and expertly resolved the issue on the first visit.

Cody is a seasoned professional, and I highly recommend you ask for him if you have aggressive Bees.  I learned that It is best to leave Bee handling to the pros, and that there are only a couple pros in Phoenix.  Fortunately The Total Beekeeper has skilled professionals who will not let you down.

Saw about eight dead bees in my gas fireplace.  Started worrying about a potential hive and honeycomb being up there, so looked for bee control company using Yelp.  The BeeKeeper stood out with all glowing reviews.  I was able to easily schedule an appointment that worked for me.
The time window I was given was 10 am to noon.  James arrived shortly before 10 am.  He is a very pleasant individual with extensive knowledge about bees and wildlife.  He identified my bees as only one being a honeybee and the others some other kind, so not too worrisome.  But I don't want bees of any kind, and then I saw wasps flying into my recessed lights on patio, so I asked to have house treated.  For $165, James walked the roof looking for any bee activity, sprayed repellant at fireplace vent, and sprayed wasp killer and repellant in light fixtures.  He even informed me of a small gash in my foam roof so I could get it repaired!
Peace of mind and newfound bee knowledge was definitely worth the price!

I honesty never in a million years thought I would sit down and write a review about Bee Removal Solutions.  However, when our backyard sanctuary was transformed into a buzzing battle zone, and our serine pool became the hive's watering hole.  I needed help real bad.  As always, my go to was Yelp.  Found the Bee Keepers and decided to go with them based on past reviews.
The story does not end there...  I expected just another pest control company.  NO, the guy that came out was super knowledgeable and extremely thoughtful.  He studied the area and the hive, and assessed various options from humanly relocating the bees to using insecticides.   Once he decided on a direction, he explained the process, and made several recommendations regarding safety and prevention.  He, I believe his name was Brandon, was very professional, thorough, and very tidy.
I got my backyard and pool back.  And, I hope to never have to deal with bees again, but if I do, I will definitely call the Bee Keepers.

Neighbor knocks on my door...
sooooo... i saw a ball of bees on the side of your house earlier, but now they're gone. I
think they went into your block wall...

I have immediate catastrophic shock... i glance to the sky and and notice a cloud in the shape of a hand with the middle finger exteded, flipping me off.... i think... it's gonna be one of those days eh?...

I literally thought... ok... wall has to come down (block home)... gotta get the bee guy to come, get the bees out...then we gotta rebuild the wall, hell we might as well paint the house while we're doing this.. i could take out a loan to take care of this, or maybe sell one of the cars... or maybe a kid!...

After a minor freak out, I yelped beekeepers and found THE BEEKEEPER... called and told them my problem, they said they would be out to my house within the hour.... and they were. 40 minutes later, a keeper of the bees knocks on my door... i open my door... he says, Hi, I'm Marino... he was very professional and was very confident that this was a minor problem...very Robert Shaw of him (the old boat captain from the hit movie Jaws)... so much that he walked up to the bee hole and knocked on it... later he described, that he was trying to diagnose their behavior to see how long they had been there... (a guy who knows bee behavior is the guy you want for the job... right?!)... long story short, he says... this is nothing ill take care of it right away... ... i ask... how much? Lets just say i didn't take out a loan, sell a car, or a child... it was more than reasonable! Less than $200 to take care of me and my family... I loved the service these guys provided! It was done quick, cheap, and freak out free!... and its warrantied work! This time when I looked to the sky... it was I who extended the middle finger to the cloud... not today cloud... not today... Marino is here!

Next time you have a ball of bees that crawls into your wall call these guys, and I hope you are lucky enough to get MARINO!!! You da MAN Marino! In all seriousness... My home is currently bee ball free and my family is safe! This company was incredibly professional, punctual, and efficient at doing what most fear to do! Couldn't be happier with a business... Thanks guys!

There are few things that are creepier than hearing BEES inside the walls of your own house. Rather scary, too. For the last month, my wife and I have struggled with a swarm that is highly attracted to a certain area of our house. We fortunately found the Beekeeper via Google.com, and James T came out the same night and treated the area to push the bees off of our home. What we thought was a little problem was actually a rather large infestation! Thousands of bees were in our walls! Scary to think what would have happened had the bees been left to their own devices for a longer period of time.

Cut to a month later, because bees have memory, they came back to the very same spot. Russ W from the Beekeeper came back as well and BOY did he give us an education on bees! I swear, a documentarian should follow Russ W around for a while and film him on his adventures. I've never met a man more excited and knowledgeable about his job. Russ W is a very soft-spoken man, and even while the chaos of buzzing bees surrounded us, he was cooler than the other side of the pillow, explaining what was going on, what he was going to do, how he was going to treat the area of our house, etc. Russ W re-treated the area, and armed us with some priceless knowledge about the type of infestation we were seeing (it was scouts, not a hive or honeycomb, thank goodness).

The most surprising thing about working with the Beekeeper: Because we had called the Beekeeper the first time, this second visit was covered under their 90-day warranty. I've heard horror stories of bee control companies gouging clients left and right and never fully solving the issue. That was NOT the case with the Beekeeper! They solved our dilemma and were true to their word about the treatment we'd receive. I honestly could not be happier with their service, friendliness, understanding, professional (and very calm) demeanor and their timeliness (each time we called, the Beekeeper had either James T or Russ W at our house within the hour! Talk about service!!). My wife and I are forever grateful of James, Russ W and the Beekeeper and would highly recommend their services for ANYONE in need of bee control.

I had a colony of bees in my tree estimated to be 90,000 bees. I wanted to have the colony relocated (yes I am an old hippie), but the colony was too large, too much honeycomb and with the current heat the colony could not be relocated.

After consulting a couple of exterminators I called the Beekeeper. The sent out Russ W. who did an excellent job educating me about the colony, the risk to neighbors and pets, etc.

He did a quick and efficient job eliminating the colony and explaining the residual effects to expect. He then showed me photos of he and his 11 year old daughter actually relocating colonies when possible.

All in all I highly recommend Russ W. for any bee issues you may have. He is a very nice and very capable person. I felt the price was reasonable for the service rendered.

I had a pretty bad wasp problem and my back yard was totally unusable and felt unsafe.  I had tried every natural trap that money can buy and any that one human can make and they still wouldn't leave.  I called this morning, they were out within one hour. Marino was wonderful and I highly suggest hiring this company. I can now be in my yard, a neat was removed and it's safe for my animals. I'm happy I called this morning! It takes a lot for me to take the time to write a review, but they exceeded my expectations, which is difficult to do. :)

This company is the real deal.  I called this morning at 11am.  I spoke with Jerry.  He said he would be on site between 1 & 2pm.

I want to say here that I had a previous estimate from another bee service that asked for $3800.  The other company took 1 week just to come out to the site and give me an estimate.  The other company wanted to build a scaffolding, remove the bees (humanely), perform deconstruction and reconstruction on the house.  The other company wanted $150 per hour and an estimate of 9 hours to get the job done (just the bee removal).

Well, to make a long story short, Jerry finished the job in a few hours for only $165.  He is coming back to complete the repairs on the structure for $900.  We have saved nearly $3000 by using The Beekeeper as opposed to the other company.  And I've saved at least 1 week of phone tag.  Jerry is prompt and professional, actually answers his phone on time and gets back to you quickly.  I highly recommend.

Some stucco had fallen off my house and I noticed bees coming and going thru a small hole. Looked on the web and looked at the reviews ratings for a company to come out and solve the problem. The Beekeeper Total Bee Control has excellent reviews here on Yelp and 18 positive reviews at the Better Business Bureau (A+ rating).

Made an appointment for 11 to 12 and Nick was able to show up early at 10:30. I recognized Nick from us being in local homebrew clubs in the valley. When I made the appointment I asked the cost to kill the bees. Quoted $165.

Nick was friendly and explained the process. He put on his beekeeper outfit, got his ladders and poison to kill the bees. After the treatment he informed me that the nest had been their several months. Recommended it be removed. Said he would need to remove several roof tiles then cut a hole to get the hive out. This was quoted as $250.00 to remove and $250 to repair if I used their repair guy . I told Nick to do the removal. He informed me that after the hive was removed to leave the hole open and the bees would realize the honeycomb hive was gone and go else where. He also said that since poison was sprayed the bees would not go into the hole. Also said there was a three year guarantee. Glad I had Nick remove the hive. I watched him from far away and realized I had a real major infestation.

Cost for today was $165 to kill the bees and $250 for the removal. I liked there was no gimmicks or bait and switch. I was able to break the payment into several payments which helps out.

I would highly recommend this company.

When I told the guy on the phone I was shopping he told me to be sure to check with BBB as their are a lot of scams in this field. I told him I was searching Yelp. I could almost hear his nod of cynicism. Obviously old school guy but top notch service! After I gave him my address he said 'what unit number' not an average response when I give my address. Turns out this company has a contract with my hoa. He (had better luck than I did) reached them and had someone out to take care of the problem within a couple of hours!

We noticed some bees in our house late last summer, hoped they'd go away, gently scooped them up and put them outside, and when the weather cooled off, no more bees. Well, that was dumb. They're back in our own personal bee horror film! Whilst slaving away on my laptop, I hear a low thrumming...and see kitty swatting away.  Got off my ass and consulted my Yelping comrades, and up comes The Beekeeper. Within an hour of my call at 5pm, my new hooded friend Kevin appears, finds the bees, and does the deed. Picks up some stings and shrugs it off. My hero! But thanks to my procrastination, there's a hive. On the roof. In the walls. Yikers. So next day Kevin comes back with his trusty companions, cuts into the stucco, and after some mild exclamations, pulls out a 65 pound frickin' hive.

Long story long, bees are gone, my roof and stucco repaired, and I've got a 3 year warranty. It was a big check, north of $1300, but my own damn fault.

Kevin and his crew were friendly, professional and fast, and I highly recommend them.

Nick came out and took care of a bunch of bees that settled in my exterior wall. He gave me an honest assessment regarding the costs and pros and cons of leaving the honeycomb in the wall. I ended up not removing the honeycomb as he said it wasn't bad enough to warrant a $1,100 expense to remove and patch and paint the wall.

Let's start with they should be called the BEE KILLERS not keepers. I called yesterday to have someone go to a property I am working on that has bees in the wall. I asked to have someone come out to tell me what it would cost to relocate them. I told them taking out drywall was no problem as we are rehabbing the property. This was the second company to look at the job so I know it was doable but what would it cost? I wanted 3 bids as when I'm not familiar with what is entailed it helps to get different perspectives and costs. I get a phone message later that evening that they had exterminated the bees. WHAT!!! That was not what I had requested. When I called the office to talk to them the supervisor that called me back said they are to busy to go out and give bids this time of year. I explained that I did not ask to have the bees-killed he simply said well I guess I won't bill you. He also made the comment that they relocate about 80% of the bees they go out to but no explanation of why they just killed mine. As if saying they relocate some made it better. I believe in doing the best for our environment and that doesn't include killing bees that are in the wrong place. Now I also have to protect my workers as they work around all the chemicals they used to kill the bees. We have to open the walls and remove the bees and the honeycombs. I am sad and frustrated with this whole experience.

Russ W came out to our home 7-28-15 to take care of two hives we've had in our backyard for over a year (because I was hesitant to kill the bees).  We are getting ready to sell our home, so the bees had to go.  I called that Tuesday afternoon to schedule an appointment and Russ came early in the evening the same day.  He looked at our issue, said it'd be no problem to handle the job and then quoted me $200 LESS than a different company who said it would take two guys to manage our problem.  Once I agreed to the cost, Russ suited up and took care of the bees in less than 5 minutes.  He was incredibly thorough about his process, what we could expect, how to fix our wall after the hives died and guaranteed his work.  Bees were gone in the time frame he estimated.  LOVE THE BEEKEEPER.  Would not hesitate to use them again.

The nuts and bolts of my experience:

Inexpensive service
Extermination not very effective (bees came back)
One unprofessional phone agent
Untimely service
Held up to warranty
Will refund if service is not up to their standards

Experience in more detail:

Had bees exterminated and area sprayed about a month ago. Bees just came back, but warranty is good for 3 months. So, I called them back, and person with whom I spoke was very unprofessional and tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. He said he'd send someone out following day between 8 and 10 in the AM. I stressed how important it was that they were on time since I had to leave by 10. He reassured me that they'd arrive way before then. Well, 10 rolled around and nobody showed up. I get a call at 10:30. Guess who? I told him to go ahead and exterminate the bees since it's covered under warranty. But he said it's not covered since the hive was a few feet away from the original! So ridiculous!

Update: The owner of the house decided to just pay the darn fee again and called the beekeeper back to come out the next day at 10am. 11am rolls around, but nobody shows up. We decide to call the company and find out they won't be able to make it for another hour! But at least this phone agent was much more friendly than the last one I spoke with. The exterminator finally shows up at 11:45 and says he exterminated the bees when he was over the other day, free of charge. He was also very apologetic for being so late today. So, originally I had my review set for 1 star, but since they held up to the warranty after all, I bumped them up to 3.

Second update: After posting this review on yelp, I was contacted by the business owner, who wanted to do right by me and offered to refund the original service. Although that is greatly appreciated, the homeowner does not believe it's necessary and feels bad taking the money. Nonetheless, I felt the need to modify the review and give the business another star for effort.

They were very easy to work with scheduling an appt.
Kevin was very punctual!
Kevin was personable and efficiently dispatched our bee issue.
Was very pleased that there weren't any surprise charges added after he was onsite...the quote given over the phone was the price I paid.
Would recommend and use again next bee season!

I called at 11:47 am today.  I saw a swarm of bees on my house at 7am. I gave it a couple of hours hoping the swarm would leave but they stuck around. I was quoted that the beekeeper could arrive by 2pm. It felt like hours away since this swarm was stressing me out! James T, the beekeeper, arrived around 1. I was so thankful that he was prompt and courteous. His professional attitude put me at ease. By 1:35 the bees were removed.  The price was inline with what I saw other sites posted. It was a basic removal. They also have a 90 day guarantee.

Carlos came to my parents house and removed 2 areas where bees had moved in. Let's just say the hives were HUGE!! Estimated 25 lbs of honey...wow. Carlos did an excellent job and went above and beyond in helping my parents with their bee problem. I greatly appreciated his help and he did an EXCELLENT job. I HIGHLY recommend Carlos and will be sure to let my friends and co workers know of this company. THANK YOU CARLOS!

I'm knocking off two stars because although they showed up promptly and were friendly and professional when dealing with our bee problem in our case it seemed to be a bit of a bait & switch.

We had a pile of bees that had invaded our irrigation valve control boxes. As a buddhist-when-convenient inundated with science news about colony collapse disorder my first inclination was to move the bees as opposed to exterminating them (a risky proposition since they were almost certainly africanized). We looked into a number of live bee removal companies and settled on this one since they appeared to offer live bee removal for around $155, about half the price of what I was quoted from another beekeeper in the valley who offers live removal, maintains hives in the desert, and sells the honey from them (Dan Punch). The buddhist-when-not-convenient side of me regrets that decision.

After arriving at our house about 45 mins from the dispatch call the first thing the beekeeper mentioned was that they wouldn't be able to move the bees under certain conditions (if extensive honeycomb was present IIRC). He then promptly demolished and exterminated the hives in the boxes in about 10 minutes. Live removal of bees is a much more involved process and I can certainly see why they prefer to exterminate, but I wish they'd been more up front about their preconditions for live bee removal. Instead, it seems to me that they offer live bee removal for an attractive price with preconditions that almost always result in extermination. Otherwise I would have compared them to extermination companies who charge half as much to just exterminate bees.

Wow, just wow....I got a primer on bees and Scott from The Beekeeper was 100% right.  We had 20+ bees in one room of our house over the space of 20 min so I thought it was time to call the experts to figure out what was going on.  Scott came out about an hour later and I told him the problem.  We inspected the whole house and he showed me possible entry points for me to address, but then said I didn't have a bee problem and explained why.  He took the time to educate me about what it could be and why, and now I know what to look for and what really matters.  He left, we hadn't seen any more bees for the whole time he was here...not 30 min later, one of his could bees came true!  A huge swarm of bees traveled through my back yard, and then continued on through the neighborhood...one could be was scouts for a swarm looking for a home. If you have a bee problem, call The Beekeepers. Scott really knows what he's talking about, and if you let him, he will make you smarter about bees.

We noticed a swarm of bees near our front door on Saturday at 5pm. I called The Beekeeper and a very nice man told me that someone would be out first thing on Sunday morning. By 9:15, James T. was knocking on our door with a big smile and a kind demeanor. He was very knowledgable about bees and their behaviors and very friendly.  James treated our problem within 30 minutes (thank goodness the bees were only there for one night!). I learned that if you see a swarm of bees around your home, call right away or the damage can be awful!!  Anyway, a big thank you to James T. because of his great service during a scary situation (we have two daughters and two dogs, not to mention one very freaked out me!) I will definitely call again if I need service.

We had very large number of aggressive bees swarming around a waterfall attached to our swimming pool. Nick came out within 20 minutes. He was very professional, knowledgeable about bees & courteous. After he treated the area the bees were all gone in a matter of minutes. Highly recommend this company. Nick represents The Beekeeper Total Control Company in a very positive manner.

I had my plate full with other issues at home and then found I had a bee colony making a new home under my shed in the backyard.  My dogs of course thought this was something new to play with and I was besides myself thinking of vet visits as well as not using my backyard was becoming a reality. I saw the listing online and called to discuss my situation.  The person on the phone was calm and explained options they could take to remove the bees.  I was promised I would have someone here within two hours and they were here as promised.  My technician Marino was professional, courteous and explained every step in what he was doing and what needed to be done.  This company was so helpful and true to their price and actions. Thank you for calming my nerves and handling this difficult situation so quickly and professionally.

I called the Beekeeper on Sunday at 10am and they sent out James T. that same day. That fact that they had same day service even on a weekend was awesome. James looked over the area and confirmed that I didn't have an issue like I thought. I really appreciated how James explained what he was doing and made me feel at ease. If I ever have another issue with bees, I won't hesitate to call James at the Beekeeper. Thanks for the great service.

If you have a bee issue, there is only one call to make.  I called around 5pm and within 20 minutes Marino Cliffton had arrived and was ready to get to work.  He explained what kind of behavior the bees were exhibiting, explaining my old nesting problem was hopefully not what was going on, they were just checking things out.  Prices were very reasonable. I think it was $165 to come out, which by far was better then the last call I had to make.  Also, just to know, Terminex will not deal with bees with your pest control service, they suggested The Beekeeper, and I am glad I made the call.  Thanks Marino.

These guys are pros!  Saw a few bees going in and out through the sprinkler valve cover in the ground in my backyard. I'm pretty observant and felt this activity could have only been going on for a day or two. Saw positive reviews on yelp and so I called The Beekeeper. Spoke to Richard at 4:30pm on a Friday and they would have had someone out within an hour if I wanted but I scheduled for the next morning. He was very knowledgeable and reassuring. Marino arrived the next morning right on time and quickly assessed the situation.  He could tell by the weight of the valve cover that they had already built the honeycomb on the underside of the cover.  He estimated they had probably been working there for a few weeks and that, by the time you notice them coming and going, they are probably already established. He quickly removed the honeycomb and treated the area. Unfortunately they could not be rescued but I felt confident in the natural solution used to eradicate them.  And Richard had already told me not to worry because, while bee populations may be declining elsewhere, there are literally billions of them in Arizona. I was just glad to have it dealt with and so deftly at that. Marino instructed me to leave the cover on for another week or so and then seal it up.  No more bees!  Charged the price quoted even though Marino had to work around and very close to some cactus in pretty tight quarters.  Very grateful to have the problem solved and would HIGHLY recommend these guys for your bee problems.

The removal of our bee problem was one of the most positive experiences we have ever had with a company.

When we called and explained we had numerous bees in our turret outside our front door, Russ W. was at our home within an hour. He assessed the situation, explained what he found with passion and clarity, and made us feel completely at ease with next steps.   Because of the magnitude of the bee infestation, he said he would be back with the A Team.

And the A Team it was!  Russ W., Dan S., and Javier M. removed over 100 pounds of honey/honeycombs and exterminated over 100,000 bees. That's 4 large garbage bags!  Not only that, they repaired the drywall, installation, and plywood damaged by the bee colonies - all in less than 2 1/2 hours, including the cleanup.

Russ thoroughly explained each step they went through, as well as the three year warranty.

My husband and I are still amazed at the professionalism, passion, and expertise of Russ, Dan and Javier.  The Beekeeper is truly blessed to have them on their team.

The Bee Keeper was the second place I called, but the first to answer the phone. We recently moved and realized within the first few weeks that we shared the new house with some wasps on the front porch. I'm normally not too worried about insects unless they become threatening, so when I was stung recently, I thought it was best to get someone to come out and take a look. Russ came out the day I called and was extremely knowledgeable about the entire process before he did anything. He walked around the entire property and assured me there was nothing in the back, but did take care of three nests near the front porch. He also took time afterwards to explain how long to stay off the porch and let me know that I could call if we had any issues in the coming weeks. I'm just glad that I can have peace of mind and look forward to when we'll be able to enjoy the front porch when the weather cools off.

I was immediately impressed that a business answered my frantic phone call at 6:10 pm and even more impressed that they were sending a technician out immediately as well! I know that isn't always possible but it was a great first impression for sure. James T was our technician and he was knowledgable and courteous and super friendly. I highly recommend James T!

We just called the beekeeper out to our facility at work due to several bees coming inside the building at a medical office.   The guy came into the front desk not wearing a name tag and when our Practice Administrator asked him if he was from the beekeeper he simply flipped his shirt over to show her the words Bee Keeper on his shirt.  Before she can explain the issue he said I already know what your problem is they're painting the building. He continued to be rude and demeaning throughout the entire conversation we had. When we showed him one of the rooms that had the most babies in it he referred to the bees as a little shit and also said we had a lot of shit in this room.  I interrupted and informed him that he was being unprofessional and he got angry and just told me to sign the papers.  He said I'm not talking to you anymore just sign it.   In the ten years I have been at that company I have never had that experience from this company before.  Completely unprofessional and very embarrassing!  We also didn't get a copy of the receipt.   He said we will get an electronic statement.   I have always gotten a copy of what I signed.

A few weeks ago on a Saturday I noticed bees streaming in and out of the eave of my townhouse. We called a few bee removal places I found online and none of them answered or ever even returned my voicemails, maybe because it was a Saturday. When we called Beekeeper Total Bee Control they said someone would be out within the hour and someone was. Tom was very professional and knew what he was doing and was in and out within an hour or so. All the bees are gone now. I would highly recommend this company based on service and value.

Call this company when you have a bee infestation!!!!!  Who knows about these bee problem-things as a common homeowner?  Not allot of bee companies in the east valley to provide this service.  This one is great!  Russ was knowledgeable, curteous, competent, and helpful.  Really glad he was there to help me out.  Thank you.

We came home from vacation to a swarm of bees in our tall pine tree.  I searched for good reviews online, and Beekeeper had great reviews.  Kevin came about 1.5 hours after we called and sprayed the bees.  He said it was a swarm, not a hive, so he could not take them alive.  Said the swarm was about 35,000 - 40,000 bees!  Hopefully they will not come back! Kevin was very knowledgable and competent.  He had to climb on our roof to reach them.  Cost was reasonable (but not cheap).  It's all relative!  We couldn't have done it, and is just a cost of home ownership.  I would highly recommend Beekeeper!

My husband got bitten by bees in our backyard two weeks ago while he was out trimming.  He located the source of the problem on a small block wall hiding our pool equipment.  The bees were swarming!  He called The Beekeeper Total Bee Control the next day and Scott came out and quickly resolved the problem!!!!!!  He put some sort of product in the openings in our block wall and told us to wait 2 weeks before injecting silicone in the holes in the wall.  We watched the holes for the last two weeks and the bees were gone!  This morning we injected silicone as he had directed and are so happy the bees are no longer a problem.  All for $165.  NOT BAD!  We love The BeeKeeper!  Thanks Scott for being so helpful and so honest.

The Beekeeper did a great job in getting rid of bees I had in my house.  After calling around, I found that they were the cheapest, and also came to find out that they had a rating of A+ by the BBB (while others had really low ratings!).  I called on a Saturday in the evening and they were at my door Sunday morning.  Thanks a lot! :)

There was a swarm of bees under the roof of my house between the eves cover and the roof.  I called the BeeKeeper at 4:00 pm.  They said they would be out within 1 hour and a 2 story house would be no problem.  They quoted a price of $155.00.  I instructed them to come right out.  BeeKeeper arrived approximately one hour later, so far so good.  The serviceman was clean, friendly and presentable.  He confirmed the extermination price of $155.00 saying there would be an additional charge for removal and repair.  I gave him the go ahead.  He sprayed the nest area that is obscured by the soffet covering.  When he was finished spraying, the BIG up-sale began.  He said there would be a charge for hive removal and house repair.  The quoted price was $490.00 for removal AND $490.00 for repair.  These outrageous prices could have been disclosed during the confirmation period.  I asked whether there was a warranty and what would happen if I left the hive as is.  He said there is NO warranty without removal and that the bees could return if no hive removal.  I obviously said NO to his quote saying I could pay for many bee exterminations at the up-sale price.  I recommended just sealing the access area to the bees but that was not of interest to him.  I plan to use simple screening to close off this access and save myself a Grand ($1000.00).  To sum it up, the foot in the door moves were graded and A, however the up-sale tactics failed the overall experience.  I suspect this is a common tactic with many of these businesses so my best advice is to not act hastily and make an informed decision.

We used this company less then a year ago when they removed 2 huge hives from under a metal shed and were charged $150.00 per hive ($300.00 pus tax) - and were very happy with both the service and the results and had no qualms about calling them again yesterday.  This time Scott K. found and removed one very small hive that he said had been active for about a month and  we were charged $450.00 plus tax.  I really feel that to be charged 3 times the amount per hive is excessive.  I would hesitate to recommend them again.

After getting our pool and deck redone, we suddenly had a small swarm of bees inviting themselves into our brand new backyard area so they could help themselves to drink from our spa. We had put a lot of money into our backyard project to erase years of damage done from birds and suddenly couldn't enjoy the area because of all of the bees! I called The Beekeeper Total Bee Control and was told that they would send someone out later that day. It was almost 7pm by the time Russ got to our place, but I was just glad that he was there! He sprayed the backyard area and told us to call back if the bees returned. It was only a day or so before the bees came back, but when I called back, Russ was out in a matter of hours. He sprayed again and the bees have not since returned. In addition to making us feel like our property was a priority, I felt that the service that Russ gave us was great. He even called a few days later to make sure that the bees had not returned. We can now enjoy our backyard...Bee Free!
