Revamp Roofing

This is a long overdue review but the roof has been good so far (Knock on wood) so I'll say now or never!

Funny/not funny story: I was actually going to go with another roofing company for my house but the owner pretty much ghosted me after I decided to go with him. After emailing and calling with no response, I looked at the state contractor's website under his contractor number to find out his license had expired because he hadn't paid his fees! So, it worked out for the best that we went with ReVamp instead. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The job was done at the specified time frames and they were quick to come out and look at something I thought might be an issue after the job was done. When it's time to do some more roofing work for our house we'll be sure to get in contact with them again.

This company has such great customer service!

After buying a new house with known roof issues, I had a few companies come out to do a quote on repair and eventually replacement of the roof. Revamp came out nice and quick to give it a look. Ruben (the owner) actually came out himself to do the inspection. He was very honest with me and was able to explain the reasons of why my roof needed replacement, rather than just saying it's bad and needs replaced.

Due to financial reasons, we decided to get the repair done before doing a full replacement. Ruben said the repair would hold us over until we could do the full replacement.

The guys came out today and did the repair. They did a very good job taking photos of everything they did on the roof. I really appreciated this, as I obviously am not going to climb on the roof to make sure the work was actually done. Ruben called me after the work was done because I had a question about the invoice that was sent over. He had amazing customer service again. Not to mention, their prices are very competitive. I highly recommend this company!

Revamp Roofing was one of three bidders that came to my house to look at some roof damage that was causing a minor leak in a bedroom ceiling.  I received a call back in less than an hour after submitting my request for a quotation.  That was very impressive.  I believe I got an inspection visit the very next day.  The quotation was also received within a day, and on a Saturday at that!

Dai Zayas, who I presume is their office person, was very professional and courteous and replied to every one of my inquiries be it by telephone or email.  I know that a courteous, professional and maybe even a happy person should be normal for front line people answering telephones or replying to email, but that unfortunately today is not the case.  But Dai was all that and more!

Ruben was the person who came out and inspected the project.  He too was very professional and courteous.  He inspected the problem area, took several pictures, which he then showed me on his tablet.  It was nice to be able to see where the problem was and learn what could be done to remedy the issue.

Ruben's quote offered two options; one a perfectly acceptable fix with a warranty, and a second larger scale option that really was more to let me know what it would cost should they discover more damage underneath the shingles as they began the repair.  Essentially, the second/larger option spelled out the worst-case scenario, so I would not be surprised after-the-fact.  I found this to be very considerate and again, unfortunately not a business practice you will find very often today!  However, Ruben was very confident all I would need performed was the fix proposal.  That turned out to be the case.  Ruben, if you are one of the lead people at Revamp, you are setting a great example!

Devin, the young man who came out to do the work was yet again, very professional and courteous (are you starting to see a theme here).  He spent time prior to starting the work explaining what he planned to do, then upon completion, re-explained what he had done.  He also took pictures and showed me every aspect of the work completed.  I know I am harping on these types of points, but I just don't encounter enough young people doing their jobs today that act like Devin.  He honestly seemed thrilled to be doing what he was doing to earn a living and it came across.  I wish more young people would act this way.  Nice job Devin!

The price was significantly less than the two other bids.  I am not the type person who always picks the cheapest price because as the old saying goes, sometimes you get what you pay for!  However, between all the 5-star reviews here on Yelp, plus how responsive and courteous both Dai and Ruben were before I agreed to hire them and then Devin on the job, it was an easy choice.

Another small point on the prices quoted  - and I may be off base here - but as a Scottsdale resident I sometimes feel I get the Scottsdale quote from contractors.  My home is pretty modest and old and essentially the type structure you would find anywhere in the valley.  However, I think that when a Scottsdale address is associated to a bid request, for some reason contractors think they can extract a little bit more.  I didn't feel that was the case with Revamp.

In closing, I sense that Revamp spends time training people how to act professionally and finding the type people who are trainable.  Nice work Revamp - keep it up and you will be around a long time.  I wholly endorse Revamp Roofing as a company you can trust and urge you to call them for a bid should you need any roof work.  You will not be disappointed.

Everyone in the company has been professional and wonderful to work with.  Polite. Competent. Reliable.  .... and like others have mentioned, the service is excellent in every regard.

Revamp tackled some nagging roof issues that other companies couldn't resolve.  Our roof, it's a problem child, but Ruben's crew took the time and showed the expertise to solve the problems.  

Their pricing is more than fair. They are probably not the cheapest in town, but you won't find better workmanship and service - period.

It's refreshing to work with a business owner who understands the value of exceptional service and workmanship.

This month, November, 2018,  Revamp Roofing re-roofed my home.  They provided excellent services and kept me informed on all aspects of the project.  
Anytime I contacted them with questions they responded immediately and were very helpful.  I highly recommend their work and would definitely go to them again for any roofing needs.

I bought a home 4 months ago that needs a lot of work. As a DIY'er I started ripping my roof off to replace it myself. After tearing away half of the shingles I noticed there was an immense amount of damage to several rafters, the facia, and the shiplap over-hang.

I called Ruben to come give me a quote on repairing the bad carpentry items as I was afraid it was over my head... as well as giving me a quote for the remaining tear-off and complete re-shingle.

He showed up an hour after I called him... who does that?!?! Lol

After a 20 minute conversation, Ruben gave me some pointers and basically convinced me that I could do it all myself!!! Once again, WHO DOES THAT?

Wouldn't you know it with Ruben's guided help, I finished the job myself and he didn't charge me a dime for his advice.

This guy is incredibly honest and by far the sharpest roofing contractor of the 3 I called for a quote.

You won't find a more honest guy in this business.

After calling 3 different companies for bids... and getting 3 different  totally  different amounts,  all of which said I needed a complete new roof.  I  then stumbled across Revamp roofing read the reviews called them up. Not only did the owner come out and inspect my roof and draft the bid. He also recommend that I have at least 5 - 6 years left as long as I do some small repairs and maintenance.  Long story short .... we got the flat roof totally repaired, some cracked tiles replaced for a fraction of the other costs.  I guess what it comes to is if you are looking for honesty and integrity call Revamp no doubt .  Once the job was completed the owner then came back to inspect it was properly completed and job site was clean and then took final payment.  Absolute true professionally with customer service at the forefront of their focus.

I called got voicemail, left a message no one ever called me back. So I will keep looking obviously they were not the right company for me. Would give them no stars but I had to give them something to post my review.

During the last monsoon we had a small

Due to the recent monsoon and seeing the damage it caused other homes in the area I wanted to get an inspection done to make sure there was no damage to my roof.  I was unable to make it home in time for the appointment I set with revamp roofing. However, Ruben still took the time to inspect the roof and call me with his findings.  Luckily, there was no damage to our roof.  Honest company that was on time!  Sorry I wasn't!  Thanks for the inspection!

Thought I would give an update since the roof repair. It has rained many times since the repair and I have not had any issue. Revamp did a great job. My whirlybirds are still spinning fast and going strong. I will be sure to reach out to them again if I have any roof problems in the future. Thanks, again.

ReVamp Roofing provided us with a new asphalt shingle roof for our home.  The owner, Ruben, was outstanding, a third generation roofer, a veteran, and an outstanding local roofing business.  Ruben and Revamp was competitive on price, got the work done on schedule, and were great to work with.  Communication with the owner, Ruben and onsite foreman, Johnny was outstanding during the entire process.  The ReVamp team was always on time, efficient, and did a great job.  Our job foreman, Johnny and the entire ReVamp team was always available, experienced, and very professional. They fixed out east side of our roof that was sagging with new construction bracing, fascia, and support.  The finished job was outstanding and perfect.  They cleaned up every day after the job and kept the yard debris free.  They did a great job from start to finish. I would highly recommend ReVamp Roofing.

Revamp Roofing is the best in the business. The owner, Ruben's, main concern is fixing your problem and making you happy. He was out to my home within an hour, up on the roof quickly and took photos of the problem area but also examined the whole roof. He was back the next day to fix the leak all thw while staying in close communication.
His pricing is very fair, work is excellent and quick. He is so good with customer service that I feel like I made a new friend in him.

So far extremely pleased. They worked with me to help with a leaky roof and allowed me to place that cost towards the replacement as the house is in probate and it will take some time to free up the funds. Kind and caring staff that are extremely professional. Highly recommend for an honest job.

- Kept me and my property manager well-informed in the process

He recently completed a very large roofing project for me. Though he inspected different sections of the roof on two separate occasions before bidding and starting, he ended up finding different conditions under different sections of the roof: some areas had two layers to tear off, rather than just one; other areas were completely missing the decking from an apparently improper installation many years prior. So the overall job ended taking about twice as long as he expected, and used more materials than he anticipated as well.

Yet Ruben was always communicative, never visibly frustrated, and amazingly, did not revisit his initial bid, even to charge just for the incremental materials he required. Contrast this with other contractors I've worked with over the years, where one rotted framing member is cause for a $200 change order, and Ruben / Revamp Roofing has my whole-hearted confidence.

Revamp recently did some minor roof repairs for us. Everyone I worked with in the company was SUPER nice and helpful which is refreshing to experience these days. Thank you Ruben, Brad, and Dai for all your help!

A+++ Company!!! I have a balcony that was sagging, no longer draining properly and leaking water in to my living room so I got a couple of quotes and decided to go with Revamp. Immediately upon calling them for a quote they were able to squeeze me in that same day to have it assessed. A second review was done by the job lead the next day, a quote was sent out a few days later and they were also able to schedule the work a week later! I realize it was a smaller job for them, but the entire process was a total of 4 days in order to let things dry/seal before the next phase so it was a week and a half process from first call to finishing the job. They did exactly what they quoted me without any new surprises or extra fees. They replaced the small rotted plywood, replaced it, sealed it with a couple layers and then added proper sloping/grading so that the water now drains off the balcony (might be more to it, but from what I saw).  It looks amazing and they kept me informed every step of the way!  Would absolutely recommend them to anyone hands down!

We had to do a complete redo of our roof in the house we've only been in 3 years. After getting several quotes, we decided on revamp roofing, and very happy that we did. Ruben was over the same day (on a Sunday) to give me an estimate when my flat roof leaked after a heavy storm. Gave me several very reasonable options for the repair and had me booked within a week. I am very happy with the quality of the coating job and will definitely be using them again if I have any problems.

Big help on our BINSR buyer request. Ruben was on vacation and still managed to get our roof examined and the work completed within 24 hours. Needed some repairs after the storms last month and most places said they couldn't fit me in or had an 8-week wait. Revamp contacted me right away and came out for an estimate that week. Very friendly and gave a reasonable estimate. Scheduled the repairs within a week. Unfortunately it was pouring rain again the day we were scheduled, but they rescheduled right away. Showed up on time on the new date and finished the repairs very quickly. They had before and after pictures to show me as well. I will definitely use them again for any roof issues!

Revamp Roofing did an amazing job on our roof. The entire experience from the estimate to the completion of the work was exceptional, and very much appreciated. The experience we had while shopping for contractors left a very bad taste in our mouths.. until we called this company. We had a couple companies stand us up and never show up to give an estimate - no phone call or anything. We had 3-4 others (major companies) give us an estimate but when we wrote back with additional questions, we received no replies at all. Of the companies who gave us an estimate, none of them wanted to do the repairs we needed. They were only interested in doing a total re-roof and told us that's what we really need. Devin (spelling?) at Revamp was honest and told us we don't need an entire re-roof, saving us a ton of money (the repairs were $1,800). You can bet that when we do need a re-roof we will be calling this company!!
Devin was great to work with and true to his word. The guys showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The paint Devin got for the fascia at the front of the house is a perfect match and you can't even tell there was ever anything wrong in that spot. We are amazed at how great it looks! None of the other companies we received estimates from would even paint the fascia, so the fact that this company does, sets them even more apart from the others. The guys left absolutely no scraps or trash behind and were always professional and courteous. My neighbor even stopped over to say that he watched the guys work and was impressed with them and how everything turned out and asked for a business card because he needs some work done too.
Kudos to Revamp Roofing for stepping up to the plate when no other roofing companies would and for exceeding our expectations!

Revamp Roofing did a great job.  They arrived promptly every day they were on the job.  They worked very hard the entire day and before they left each day they walked the perimeter of our house and cleaned up every scrap of debris that might have fallen from the roof.  They maintained the area around their dumpster and even swept off the driveway before I was going to pull out.  Thanks for the great job !!

What an absolute breath of fresh air...Revamp Roofing is singularly redefining the standard of excellence in the roofing industry. After what seemed like an exhaustive search of roofers, I finally came across Revamp Roofing and could not have predicted how professional, accommodating, and skilled they would be. When I reached out to Revamp I was four weeks away from the close of escrow and still needed to fully replace the roof of a home I was selling. Ruben, the owner, came by same day to provide a quote for the replacement, which was unfathomable given the demands of a busy home selling market. Ruben provided a true-price quote within a few hours of his visit that was fair and not gouged due to the summer season. I also very much appreciated the sensitivity that was paid to the urgency of my roofing need. Unlike many of Revamp Roofing's competitors Ruben was able to re-stagger work in their cue, which allowed his team to begin work on my home by the weeks end. The flexibility that Revamp Roofing extended is practically unheard of these days, and out of the six companies I approached they were the only company willing to accommodate. Normally that alone would be sufficient customer service, however Revamp continuously raises the bar of excellence throughout your entire transaction. After each day's close of work Ruben's team was fastidious in cleaning up roofing debris and aside from the noticeable absence of shingles on the rooftop a passer-by would scarcely noticed anything was amiss. My roof was completely stripped and replaced over the course of three days during an Arizona heatwave, and it is the best looking roof in the neighborhood.  Not only does Revamp deliver phenomenal customer service; their work is expertly superior.  Don't bother researching any other company beyond Revamp Roofing, they legitimately care about quality and professionalism and are accommodating and affordable.

Due to storm damage from the first big monsoon of the year I needed an entire roof.  Ruben at Revamp was recommended through my agent.  I did also get 3 other estimates but still decided to go with Ruben and Revamp.  Very happy that I did.  We had some delays from more storms that were completely out of his hands, of which Ruben was very apologetic for...again no control of his....which I had no issue with because I had no leaks and felt the roof was secure.  When they did come they did a great job and the roof looks great!  As a business owner myself, working at peoples homes and businesses, I pride myself on doing honest and fair work and I believe I received both from Ruben.   I would gladly recommend Revamp Roofing to anyone who asks.  Respectfully,  Mike Puruleski Sidewinder Sunscreens.

Word cannot express my gratitude to Ruben and ReVamp Roofing.  My rental home in Phoenix suffered roof damage during a storm in August and, to say the least, it was a nightmare.  Ruben came to the rescue, and although there were a few bumps in the road, he was always ready and willing to make things right.  He worked wonderfully with my tenants and was able to make everyone happy.  I would use ReVamp and Ruben again in a heart beat and highly recommend them.

I was so pleased with my experience with Revamp, I used them on two back-to-back roofing projects.  The experience was a breath of fresh air, compared to a small handful of other companies I've dealt with...from the estimating process all the way through to the completion of each project, including clean-up!

We live in Virginia and my girlfriend needed a roof replaced on her home in Chandler, AZ. I started researching online and ran across Revamp Roofing which had a high rating. I started reading the reviews and said to myself no way can a company be this good. So I called three roofing companies for comparison and left messages for a call back at two of them but, I didn't have to leave a message at Revamp because Ruben picked his phone up while on the beach in Florida with his family. I am in the real estate /construction business so  it is with great pleasure  I have  this opportunity  to review a very very positive experience with Revamp roofing .  They are competitive, do quality work, and do what they say they will do. Most of all ..they want the customer to be happy when they finish.  They have done two separate jobs for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone. What a great company! Needed repairs done in a very short time period in order to close the sale of our home. Rueben and his guys were great! Everything from scheduling, arriving on time and fixing all the required repairs with warranty for his work. A complete report was needed along with photos of the repair. Rueben made sure we had everything covered and then some so pleasant to work with. Very courteous and respectful.

We had a leak from our roof to our kitchen and we weren't sure where it was originating. Got three estimates and one of them was Revamp Roofing. I'm an out of state investor and always struggle to find good, reliable people to do work on my properties.  I've started using yelp to find contractors, and came across Revamp Roofing.  Within minutes after my submission I got contacted by Reuben.  It has been such a positive experience from start to finish.  He provided a quote over email by looking up house on google earth, and the next day he went out to the property to firm up the numbers.  I originally just wanted to do the back patio, but he gave such a good price on the whole roof (which he told me I probably had 2 more years on), I just did the whole thing.  Reuben communicates extremely well.  The previous owners did not install the correct duct work for my AC unit (he sent pictures), and he handled getting all the right contractors involved and taking care of the issue without having to get me involved.  I've found my go to roofing company for any of my roof needs in my rentals!  Really great guy, and amazing work!
