Mark from RENCO came out today to check on our flashing.  He was very thorough in his explanation as to what was going on.  The rain today helped, so he could see what was happening.  He was most enjoyable to talk to, he was very engaging and wanted to make sure all our needs were met before he left. I would highly recommend RENCO.  Mark was superb!

I don't trust a place that comes out says the issue you're having isn't covered by your warranty any it will $750 dollars to fix or I can come fix it in my own time for $350.

It was a three year old roof and they actually allow their technicians to have a massive conflict of interest if not encourage outright dishonesty.

I will never work with them again.

I've been dealing with this roof repair issue since May 29. I had to go through my HOA for approval.  The first time you were out, nothing was done. Your roofers arrived before I left for work and did nothing but bang on the roof a few times.
I called the HOA again to arrange repair and specifically asked for Renco to contact me beforehand so my sick dachshund would not be home.  Today I got home and noticed roofers were here. I am beyond angry!!!!
You left debris behind and I'm missing pieces from my roof! The flashing isn't even finished!!!

We had Renco do some repair nine years ago.  Recently had a leak but beyond their 5 year guarantee.  Got a quote from Mick to have 1/2 of the tile roof redone for $14,000.  Decided to go with them and called Mick back twice plus called the office for him to call us. No response, so we talked with another roofing company and was quoted $10,000 AND for better material under the tile than Renco was going to use!  And he started in les than a week.  We saved money - yay - and Renco lost us as a customer now and in the future.

Took way to long to get the roof fixed (over a month) with mold growing and our walls starting to smell. Got it fixed, finally. They arrived bright and early on Wednesday morning. Due to our parking situation they have to park in front of our garage... yet they didn't call the day before and say they were still coming and that they were needed to block the garage.. so I had my vehicle parked and BLOCKED. Unable to go anywhere and had to call off work because I physically could not get out.

If your going to park in front of a driveway at least CALL AHEAD AND LET THE PEOPLE KNOW SO THEY CAN MAKE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS. Called and complained, not sure it will go anywhere but pretty disappointed with the 'customer service' received.

very dishonest company. we hired them to replace the roof above the garage two years ago and found out that they did not do the job when we are replacing the entire roof. we will see them in the court.

there is no confusion. they quoted me 30k to 35k for the entire roof. they charged me 5k for the garage roof. the amount of the roof they repaired is definitely not worth 5k.

I asked them many times to show the proof of work and never provided the view from the top. shame on this company. I am taking further action. On top of what I paid, I am looking to get it back. I will also look into checking with the city to see how we can get this company license evoked.

A company like this should not be allowed to do business in Phoenix.

We just used RENCO Roofing to do a roof replacement on our house. Lars came out and did the estimate, and was fantastic. He was very professional and thorough, and surpassed the other companies in every category. The company was not the cheapest estimate we had, but we decided to use them based off of reviews and their obvious knowledge surrounding the roofing industry. Lars never once pressured us into anything unnecessary. We went with a single layer underlayment instead of double, because he knew we wanted to sell our house and it wasn't worth the investment for us.

The job was scheduled for about 3 weeks out, which is was perfect for us. It took a full 3 days to do the replacement. The guys doing the replacement were always on time, and worked endlessly constantly throughout the day. We appreciated their hard work and long hours, as it guaranteed a quicker finish.  They cleaned up very nice, and we found minimal nails/garbage on our property throughout the 3 days.

My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the extreme lack of communication throughout our project. We were given a project manager, but he never once reached out to us for an update. We never met him in person until we had an issue. We had to reach out to him to get updates on the project or to know when the guys would be showing up again. We also had requested for no workers on Fridays, and we did have some guys show up on a Friday against our request. Lastly, our final invoice was sent over with the incorrect amount due-it was missing $3,100 that we had paid towards our balance. After expressing our issues about the lack of communication and invoice error, the employees were very apologetic. But in general, we did not see an improvement in communication afterwards.

Overall, we had a very good experience with this company. The work that was done is great. Just beware if lack of communication is a deal breaker for you.

After my last review Eric from RENCO reached out to me and went above and beyond to try to make things right.

I am updating to 3 stars based on my average experience with them.  Eric provided 5 star quality service, but everything else was 0 stars.  Most of the service received from them was really bad and Eric was amazingly good.  Evens out to 3 stars.

JANUARY 2023.  DON'T DO IT.   My name is Jack McKendree.  64 year old retired man lives in Encanto Neighborhood 7th Ave & Thomas.  I needed my roof replaced, not leaking, just old.  Called RENCO for an estimate.  Trey came out to give me an estimate and paid the $7000 deposit. Trey said call email any questions.  There was one question he wanted answered there was still evap cooling equipment on my roof which needed to be removed and I approved.  He needed to know if a electric outlet on the roof was still live....  Got up on my roof plugged in some gizmo to determine if the outlet was still live.  It was.  Recorded a 3 second video that it was live and text him.  No response.  Next I get an email for an install date and it was due to rain.  I text Jose install guy could I just move it to 2 days later due to the rain.  Of course no response.  Next they delivered shingles on my roof with a 70% chance of rain next day 1/31/2023.  This has been the most miserable experience in years.  DON'T do it.  Jack McKendree.  721 W Lewis Ave Phx 85007 480-577-9236 cell [email protected] email

Only company you need to call for awesome price quote and repairs.
They sealed our roof and replaced several broken tiles boom boom boom on schedule.  
Hector and crew showed up on time, worked hard and completed the work per the quote 3 days.
Adam the project manager was at our home daily to give an update and the job progression.
I would highly recommend Renco, 5 star workmanship 5 star customer service 5 star communication 5 star price & 5 star YOU Gotta do business with Renco.

We had our roof repaired by RENCO Roofing. On 10 December, we noticed some water damage on our ceiling. On 16 December, Jari Marjanen, who was wonderful to work with, came an inspected our roof. He found the problem: the material used underneath the title roofing was faulty. He gave us a quote to fix the material.

The quote was the most reasonably priced out of the other quotes we had gotten. And the quote included fixing the entire roof section, not just the area around the material.

They came out on 23 December and fixed the roof. The crew was easy to work with and very clean.

I'd recommend considering RENCO Roofing, and I'll be keeping their information for the future.

I want to shout out EMERY for his amazing customer service for myself and our property. He went above and beyond during the crazy monsoon storms for us. Would 100% recommend him.

We had a bad water leak from our roof with all this rain.  Jari came out the next day and helped us diagnose the problem.  We felt we dodged a bullet when Jari told us we just need to replace a small section of our roof, rather than the whole thing.  Super knowledgeable man.  I would highly recommend him and the company.

Renco Roofing did some work for me in 2017.  They sealed a portion of my roof that was flat.  Recently I had to have Lars check out a leak I had from a severe wind and rain storm we had a few weeks ago. The wind was blowing the rain sideways that night!   Lars came in and measured my bedroom wall where the leak was and then measured the outside wall so he could figure out where the leak was coming from.  He checked my entire roof and determined that the leak was caused by my vent on the roof and I did not need to do anything else at this time..(Thank goodness!)
I have always been pleased with Renco Roofing, but never more than I was this time.  

What Lars doesn't know is since I had to wait a few days until I could see him, I decided to call another roofing company since they were available sooner. This roofing company was available to stop by within 2 days of my phone call.  (They were also rated highly on Yelp.)  I had them come in and check out my leak.  This guy said the leak was probably from the vent on the roof and proceeded to return to his truck without going up on the roof.  Then, as if a last minute thought, went on my roof, took a few photos of the cemented joint connections and told me that I  needed to have them re-sealed.  Two days later I received an estimate of what the joint sealing would cost.  He said all 8 joints needed to be re-sealed but only sent me pictures of 3 that he had taken.  That's funny, what happened to the other 5?

Not being knowledgeable about roof repairs, I decided to wait and meet with Lars from Renco.  I trusted Lars 3 years ago and I trusted him this time.  If he had said I needed to re-seal my roof joints, I would have believed him.   But, it seems this time I did not have to do anything.  And I felt very comfortable with his assessment.    If I ever need additional work on my roof in the future, I will reach out to Renco for my repairs.

Terrible! Got a 5 year warranty and my roof has leaked repeatedly. Including twice with torrents of water rushing into our master bedroom. Soaking the ceiling, interior walls, and the rug! Avoid these guys like the plague

The first visit to coat my roof they were 3 hours late and must have been in a rush, which makes sense why they applied too little coating in some spots and left pools in others. At least someone came by to check and had another crew come back to fill in the areas with cracks remaining.

Renco Roofing has always taken care of me. If you ever need honest quotes with fair pricing, they are the go to! Joe has been the best .

Renco redid my tile roof about 2 years ago.  They did a great job.  Their employees were easy to work with and cleaned debris at the end of every day.  The salesman always responded promptly to every question I posed while I was reviewing the quote.  Everyone with whom I interacted was friendly and professional.
Recently I sent photo of what appeared to be loose tile around roof vent on garage.  Within a day or two Flint came out to check tile.  He inspected and said tile was correctly installed but perhaps to make it appear better cosmetically he would add an additional tile piece.  He did and everything looks great.  I highly commend a company that responds to a question 2 years after the sale and makes the customer happy.  That alone reassures me that I picked the best roofing company.

When we bought our condo in Sept 2019, it was disclosed that there had been a leak in June and it had been repaired by Renco roofing. It turns out Renco did not repair the roof at all, and it has continued to leak whenever it rained while we were gone (only lived in the condo part time from Sep-Feb when we moved in permanently). How do I know this? Because when we moved in 2 weeks ago I saw red-brown streaks (from the tiles I'm guessing) going down the white closet doors in our guest room. I now know after all this rain what it is. When we realized that the leaking was coming from the very same area that was supposed to have been fixed last year, we called the mgmt co for our HOA to get the roofers number. They came out quickly but sent a young guy who said he saw no issues and everything looked good except one tile was askew. He put that tile back and said to call the next day if any more leaking and they would come right out.

Well, it rained like Seattle, and of course we had more leaking in several areas of the closet and when we called (several times) we got ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE. Our carpet is wet, our closet door is bubbling now, and we ARE NOT going to pay for repairs to the interior that the previous owner paid for after he thought they had repaired the roof. Unbelievably poor service. Will update later if they get this mess fixed.

It seems there are a lot of one stars on here. Not good....

RENCO was very fast to respond to my bid request through Yelp. They set up an appointment, Keith called the day before to confirm, and he showed up on time. He was very honest about our needs and gave us a free bid.

Turns out, we didn't need the work done as desperately as originally thought. In the future, when we need roofing work, RENCO will be the first call we make!

Laura was excellent when booking our free quote, setting up an immediate appointment with Mick who  came on time, was very professional, personable and knowledgable.  He  gave us excellent information  on our Flat Foam Roofing problems (and there were many).  Even tho we did not follow through with them to fix our problems, I recommend calling Renco as they are honest.

Not only did I grow up with one of their employees, I have referred them to many. They have always been on time, professional, and fixed all issues. I would continue to send them to everyone I know. Thanks Renco Roofing.

We had this company come out and provide a bid for roof work. Salesman Brett said no problem - we can fix the issues.  Team of installers came out(none of which spoke English) and made repairs. There was very little communication with installers, and they left the job site a mess every day. Nobody else showed up to check on the job. One day later we had a very bad rain storm. Roof was still leaking in the original location, and 2 new locations. Salesman Brett and his manager came out to the house and basically told us it was a prior issue; not their fault. Provided us a bid to fix everything again on March 11th, and we never heard from them again. Since the temps have gotten hot, we are also now experiencing dripping tar from the roof down onto our white travertine outside, which is causing quite a mess. I would never recommend this company nor would we use them again.

Lars came out 2 days after we contacted RENCO, super nice guy, he went over everything we needed to know  so we went a head and scheduled for them to replace our flat roof.

They called us day before the scheduled day to confirm the job and what time they would arrive. Mark and his crew worked on our roof from 5am to 3, they got it all done in one day!! Very clean, covered everything around our house ( car, pool, pattio furniture etc.) to protect it from over spray, to make sure it didn't get anything on it.

We went with this company because of the good reviews and also how easy and knowledgeable Lars was. We are very happy !! We would recommend this company to anyone who's in need of a new roof! Mark and his crew gets stuff done!

As for price, I'm happy with what we paid, could probably have found lower, but we were not looking for a Groupon deal, wanted a solid company that stands by their work.

I've used Renco on two houses now and many other family members have used them too. They've been great!

Most recently, Mark and Richard were out because of some light water leakage due to the recent monsoons. Turned out not to be a problem with the way the roof was done but with a drain being really clogged. They fixed it regardless and everything is all set now. Thank you!

The project manager who came out to my house was extremely disrespectful I'm in complete shock in the way that I was treated by this young man I would never do business with this company solely based off of that experience

If I could give NO stars I would!!! This is the worst roofing company I have ever dealt with!!! The work is shoddy, the employees are noisy and disrespectful, downright RUDE!!! They are lazy and messy as well. Every day they have been at my condo complex the have left nails, broken tiles and other debris all over the sidewalks and stairs....several residents have called the property managers and you can tell that some of these jerk off employees are pissed off about being reported because they throw things into the dumpster when the elderly people who complained walk by and almost hit one lady with flying debris!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!!! There are also young children and pets in danger of stepping on all the nails-points up that these idiots left all over the grounds...THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH AWFUL EMPLOYEES!!!!

The professionalism on this company is TOP NOTCH! They came out, gave a fair estimate and completed their work in a prompt manner. Even after the work was done and my HOA was petty about a very small detail that needed to be fixed, they came out and fixed the issue, free of charge. Can't recommend them enough.

I was initially told they were going to be here a couple of weeks ago and no one showed up and I was never called.  When I called to ask what was going on I was told they were going to be here on the 13th (tomorrow).  However, I woke up to someone from this company ringing my doorbell at 7am this morning (I have not been feeling well and had planned on sleeping in) saying they were here to work on the roof.  No one contacted me to let me know about the change.  They told me that they would clean up the mess that they made and they did not.  I was told not to worry about them removing the AC/Heating unit because they know what they are doing. However, I came home and everyone was gone and my heater won't turn on, the fan won't turn on and the AC won't turn on.  I call to mention this and I'm simply told that someone will call me back as soon as they can.  I was not given any further information but I guess I shouldn't be surprised with this company. I'm not sure what they did to my heating/AC unit but it's obvious that they DON'T know what they are doing.

My HOA had no idea when my roof was to be fixed, that's why they gave me your company's information to call you directly.  I don't see how rain would move the date up to complete my roof sooner, but I specifically planned to be home on the 13th as I was previously told that that was the scheduled date (after calling yet again after being told it was going to be on a Friday a few weeks prior and no one showed up and no one called to alert me of any changes and my HOA had no idea what was going on). Your workers saw me leave and knew I wasn't home. I responded to the phone call/text I received last night. I don't have time to answer all your calls today because your company clearly doesn't know how to communicate with each other or your clients and therefore it wasn't communicated that I had someone come out last night and fix the issue.  I messaged you on the website so people would stop calling me. There's no need to give out my phone number to everyone in the company.

Amazing service. Keith was great to deal with and it never felt like he was trying to get a sell. I tried to pay the guy, but he refused. I have an odd leak in my roof and he has come out multiple times to inspect and patch my roof. This all came about when I was quoting out a job and Renco was up. I was blown away that out of 6 of Yelp's top roofing companies, Keith at Renco was the only one that wasn't selling, was actually helpful and attempted to do an easy fix, free of charge; TWICE! Others that came over wanted $250 for roof maintenance and spent more time finding what else was wrong with my roof so that he could bump the quote up. I had a small leak and these other companies were telling me that I need a new complete roof, Keith put that to bed. Rest assured when I do need a new roof, I will be calling Keith at Renco.

Renco Roofing exceeded ALL expectations regarding their GREAT approach to customer service in completing the roofing job at my home. The first point-of-contact from the company (Lars) provided a comprehensive overview of the necessary items needed to complete the scope of the project. He outlined the steps in the process that the company would follow and answered all of my questions.

Please note that they are a terrific group of professionals committed to doing a thorough job for the consumer. As a small (minor) note of observation, I encountered a miscommunication glitch concerning the project scheduling (specific working days) for the roofing team. Other than that, the roofing team was terrific throughout the roofing process (finished my job in under 10 days) and the project manager (Aaron) came by on the last day to review everything, as well as to finish all of the requested final details.

We have not had a big monsoon rain yet, thus, I am unable to address that type of follow-up in this review. However, Aaron did assure me that they would follow-up promptly to address any problems regarding warranty requests. As a final note, besides offering wonderful customer service, Renco also offers a fantastic workmanship warranty. They stand behind their product and have a caring approach to their business interaction with the customer. I appreciate that style of doing business and definitely recommend them as an excellent company to utilize for roofing services.

Renco replaced our tile roof. We went with them because they had done work through our HOA.

Unfortunately, communication about the details of the job to be done (ie when the contract was discussed) was not satisfactory, and communication about the actual completion of the job was no better. We were notified on more than one occasion that our roof work was to be started. It was subsequently not started, and we did not get any communication from the lead that it was behind schedule. Even when we called, there were a number of times that we did not get any call back until we reached out several times.

I felt that the team didn't pay attention to the aesthetics of the job.
The roof job included a bird stop and drip edge that did not match the roof or the house (black/brown). The roof is a terra cotta color and the house is a cream color. Nobody had consulted us about these aesthetic portions of the job or let us know that they would not match. When I called to ask after the fact, stating that I was not happy that this portion stuck out like a sore thumb, they said it was special order or not available. I saw several examples in my own neighborhood of components which matched (& thus WERE available).

Another issue was that the tiles were laid in such a way that there was a significant gap between the right edge of the tiles and the wall that it came up to. I had to show the job manager other homes on my street where the work was done more cleanly in order to get them to change it.

They also stated in the contract that they would replace whatever wood needed to be replaced. After they first did the job, I noticed multiple very weathered/worn down wood pieces on the roof periphery which should have been changed. They tried to say they were not rotting yet; my argument was that the current roof has lasted 30+ years. If you leave these wooden pieces, it's not going to last anywhere near as long as the first one did.

In the end, they corrected these issues, and I am thankful for that...but it was VERY taxing to have to guide them so extensively in order to get a professional-looking job.
I think that they try to make their customers happy, but perhaps they have grown too large to really pay attention to quality control.

We have used Renco for roofing for many years. They have put roofs on my house, my barn, and several rental houses that we have owned over the last 20 years. There has never been a time that we were not satisfied with the work. In addition if you notice a problem they are normally on-site to fix it within 24 hours, sometimes faster.

In this instance we use them to install gutters on our house and my barn. Let me say right away that no one laughed about the terrible job I had done when I installed the original gutters, the ones they came out and replaced. I say that with humor, however, their installers are very professional, leave the job site clean, call prior to arrival, and do beautiful work. I had in fact done a terrible job when I installed the original gutters and they had never worked right which is why I called Renco to come fix my problem.

At this point I would like to say something about cheaper.  Just because I think it's a good idea to always know the market for any product you're buying I had called around to some other gutter people. In every instance one of the first things out of their mouth was that they are cheaper. Because I know the value of quality that is not the best way to sell me something!  I am not looking for cheaper, I am looking for somebody who knows how to price the product and it does the job I can count on. When I get alternating bids I am really looking for what the market price is and then I look for the best provider within that market price range. Renco has never disappointed me.

If you are looking for somebody who understands how to price a product properly, produce a job for the long-term that will give you the results you are actually hoping for, and are people you would actually like to talk to, call Renco.

Absolutely worst experience ever!!! I rent a townhouse... so i get a ring at my door for these two guys to use access to my water to clean the roof... i said sure, THREE HOURS later they are still using MY water to clean all 4 townhouses roofs! So im paying for this water for one. For two they made a HOLY mess!!!! Dirt and water came through my bathroom vent. My backyard was absolutely disgusting full of so much dirt and grim. My glass patio table was covered and chipped from a rock hitting it. My chairs have cushions on it that are absolutely ruined. This mess was so bad it went inside my home... my laundry room and onto my washer and dryer units! My truck is parked on the other side of my townhouse and that was completely full of mud and dirt! I watched these men throw a dead bird off the top of the house in front of my door... promised they would clean up... they not only left everything a complete mess they left the dead bird in front of my home as well as all there nasty stinky trash bags!!!! I called the head boss and he is not helpful at all. He calls me at work and tells me his men cleaned everything up , i get off work to find they kicked the bird halfway under the bush next to my door.... cleaned the trash bags up and half cleaned my backyard. My table is still broken and im upset... my garbage can was brand new and looks like it went through hell... my new door mat is disgusting, my truck and backyard are still gross. Now im left with all this and have to pick up this nasty bird! Im so unhappy with how unprofessional this company is. If this is not fixed and paid for i will sue no doubt! Be aware!

Guy came out, went up on roof, came down and showed me pictures of what I know was someone else's roof. He explained that a portion of roof needed to be replaced because so many shingles were missing in the pictures (the pictures that he said was my roof but was not). He said he would  email an estimate. I told him I was having other contractors come and also let me know what they thought. At that, he said goodbye, took his ladder, went home, and I never heard from him.
Another company came out. They said my roof was in good shape. Showed me actual pictures of what I know to be my roof. They made the repair and all was good. Stay way from these guys.

Mark and Richard from the service department just came and repaired a couple of surface bubbles on my foam roof.  I appreciate how quickly they responded and their profession work.  Their customer service is wonderful.  Thank you.

I am a real estate agent in the valley and I work with a lot of contractors daily. The last roofer I was working with stood me up and we were close to a closing, I got recommended to Brett at RENCO roofing from a friend of mine and after explaining the issue to Brett he went out the very next day to fix the issue at no cost since he felt the job was to small to charge! I can tell that he cares a lot about costumer satisfaction and well now I have a new roofer for life. I will highly recommend Brett at RENCO roofing to anyone.

I am so irritated with the unprofessional experience I am having with this company.  Brett came out to my scheduled estimate appt. and was friendly and great at explaining the process. He followed-up to see if I had any further questions. I decided to go with Renco b/c of the positive reviews and my experience up until that point.  I signed the contract and put down my $2,400 deposit. After 2 days of no one calling me to discuss when we were setting up a date to complete the roof, I decided to email them. After 2 more days of no response from the email, I decided to call them to see what was going on as I started to feel nervous I was being taken advantage of. Someone called me back, I explained my worry and stated I knew they were busy and that's fine; but I would just like to be kept in the loop.  I don't mind if it's 2 weeks until my roof is done as long as an appt. is set. Also, someone was supposed to come out to give me samples so I could pick a shingle color, but that hasn't happened either.  I was told someone would call me by Wed (which is 7 days after they took my $2,400 deposit) to discuss and set up a date.  No one contacted me on Wednesday. I should not have to continue to f/u with a company that has already cleared a deposit I've given them. If I had not signed a contract that stated I would lose the deposit if I backed out; I would definitely have taken my business elsewhere by now.

Update:
The day after I posted my complaint, I was contacted by several members from the Renco team to apologize for not communicating effectively with me. Communication improved 150% and they scheduled a date/time to complete my roofing and spray foaming. They came as scheduled that day, and had a large team to complete the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up appropriately, and my only complaint was that 3 plants in my flower bed were stomped on and destroyed during their process. That was a little frustrating, only because this was the first year I've finally been able to get my plant looking good and thriving. Other than that, Renco did great and I've already had several neighbors complimenting the roof and asking who did it.

Got a bid on a tile roof job after waiting a month due to their schedule. Once the bid came in I asked a couple follow up questions to which I did not even get a response. I think they are so busy that they don't care if they get jobs or care if they have good customer service. Also, I thought the bid was a bit high. I contacted them based on positive yelp reviews but there is no way I would use them given their poor customer service.

I called Renco on Monday and I they scheduled an appt for us in TWO DAYS!!!

We have potential buyers for our home and will be negotiating the necessary repairs for our roof, which were found during the inspection. The inspector found small areas on the roof where it looked like a wood pecker pecked small holes in our foam roof.

My husband and I wanted a roofing company that is licensed,  bonded and insured and Renco Roofing had met all our criterias for that.  They also have great reviews online. I also liked that they are an established family owned business.

Keith from Remco came out at 10:30 am  prompt and as scheduled. He is very professional and represents the company well. He showed me his Renco Business Card after introducing himself.

Keith got to work immediately and went up on the roof. He was up there almost an hour and than when he was finished, we discussed his findings.

He stated he walked the whole roof and REPAIRED the wood pecker holes for free!!!!! He said they were really tiny and not that many.

Also, there were two small areas that needed patching
near a scuffer and near the airconditioner. Keith patched those as well!!!!

He knew the situation my husband and I are in, regarding our home.  He stated that he was coming to give us a free estimate and figured that once he was up on the roof and saw the minor repairs needed, he would just repair the areas for us!!!!

Keith also took pictures and sent them to me along with an informal report via an email- at no charge. He asked if I needed a formal report in the email he first sent me.  I told him I did and he stated he would get it out tonight.

He worked all day and Keith went out of his way for us.

He has the good old Midwestern values that you just dont see very often in business people.

I asked for his business cards and will pass them out to family and friends. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KEITH AND RENCO ROOFERS!!!!

Lars from Renco came out and did an estimate for us prior to purchasing the home (during the 10 day inspection period).  Once we closed, Lars had to come back to update the estimate for the HOA.  Lars also went on a hunting expedition to find a tile that matched ours since the company went out of business.  He found an exact match.  HOA approved the work and RENCO did a fantastic job for us.  They also did our sons roof (that is where we got the recommendation).  Highly recommend!

I called several roofing companies in February during the heavy rains here in the valley. I got quotes from a couple but Shane @ RENCO was the most responsive. His prices were on par with the rest of the quotes - not the cheapest and not the most expensive (not including Lyons Roofing was $4K more than the rest). I chose RENCO because he was the last one I met with and I was leaving for Europe for a month so I had to make a decision. They patched the roof to hold it until I returned from my trip and scheduled the full work when I returned. They did a great job and I'm very happy with the results. Thank you Shane!

Should have written this a few months ago but very happy with the service Renco provided to my company. I met with several contractors for estimates for a new metal roof for the building. Out of five contractors, Lon at Renco was by far the most responsive, service oriented, and customer focused. Our business owner was able to negotiate a great price with Renco and Lon was very patient, taking the time to work out all the details and thoroughly explain the plans. The finished product looks great and the best part is we had some metal left over and Renco was nice enough to help us create a little backyard table out of it. Way to go the extra mile for the customer. Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with the service and pricing at Renco! Everyone I talked to was so courteous and knowledgeable and did a great job! The work was done quickly and the guys cleaned up so nice after the job. I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to others. Nowadays, it's hard to find good service like this.

We had a couple of concerns regarding the tiles on the roof. Keith came out and did an inspection, put few tiles back in place, found and fixed a broken tile, and DIDNT CHARGE US ANYTHING!

Absolutely go with Renco.  I have referred other friends to go with them as well.  From beginning to end, by the time I had contacted them and had my roof repaired the turnaround time was 2 weeks.  They had the best price from the bids I receive.  They also sent out a QA person who was different than the worker.  He found a small area that needed to be re-worked and that was done in a day.  I appreciate the honesty and knowledfe of this oversight sooner as I would never had known til the next rainstorm.

I called RENCO Roofing and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The date was set I was told that Jari would be the person coming out for my estimate.   The day before Jari called to confirm the appointment (which was nice and really unexpected).  Jari was exactly on time and very professional, he gave me great advice and an education on roofing tile, underlayment, expected lifespan and options for me to consider when making my decision.  NICE GUY!  Jari you represent your company well. I will be calling RENCO Roofing again for my next project.  Hopefully they are all like Jari.

I hired Renco after reading the reviews on Yelp.  I got 3 quotes, 1 was very high and Renco and other were very comparable. Work was scheduled 4 weeks out.  On the day scheduled, they did not show up. I had to call to find out where they were.  They apologized and showed up the next day for my repairs.  The roof looks good, but there was damage to my house trim.  When I mentioned this, they sent Aaron out that day.  He volunteered to fix if we had the paint.  We purchased paint, he came back out and made it look like new.  Overall quality work, fair price and great customer service.  Only hiccup was not contacting me when they did not show up.  I hired another roofer and had a similar problem no communication when they do not show up.  So perhaps industry standard?  I would definitely use them again and recommend them!

Brett is an honest guy who knows his stuff.  I have a small house.  One man did all the work.  It's a work of art.  I am so pleased.  I changed the roof color and removed the tile caps.  What a difference those suggestions make.  Highly recommend.

I needed to repair a chimney flashing on my roof as a result of a home buyers inspection.  Renco was the only company who replied to my request for a quote here on Yelp, and were able to send someone out the next day.  Keith spent a few minutes looking at the issue and promptly told me it could be done much more cheaply by a handyman or even ourselves with a $20 part.  Considering his minimum to do the work would be $500, this was huge! He didn't have to tell me that- so I am grateful for his honesty.  I am moving out of state, but will definitely recommend Renco for major roof repairs or installation to you and to my friends.

I had an appointment set up for an estimate.  It was easy to schedule the appointment, but no one showed up.  After waiting for 30 minutes with no follow-up to let me know if someone was running late, I had to leave.  I thought I would follow up with the company to see what happened, I understand sometimes things do not go as planned.  The office gave my number to the estimator and had him call me back.  He did, with no apologies for the mess up, said he walked the property (which is not true as the issue is in the back yard and he could not have gone there unless he jumped the fence and trespassed) and then the call was interrupted and I never heard back from him.  Is this for real?  I based my choice on the excellent reviews on Yelp, but my experience was the opposite of excellent and simply ridiculous.

We needed a Roofing contractor after a heavy rain caused a water stain in a closet in the home.  We didn't know how serious an issue we were facing, but we chose RENCO Roofing based upon the positive reviews online.  We are so glad that we chose them.  

Jari is the person who came to the home to review the situation.  From the first interaction, he gave us a positive experience.  He called prior to the visit, he was on time, he was professional and friendly.  He was very clean and neat both in appearance and in the care he took when entering and working in the home.  He explained things and even gave me the choice of stepping up the ladder to see the damage from the crawl space or the choice to see a picture.  We don't know anything about this business and he could have taken advantage of that, but he explained that this was a very minor issue that could easily be taken care of with some repairs where an electrical conduit enters the home on the roof.  When Jari was finished with his inspection and review, I told him that my husband was a few minutes away and would be back soon.  Jari waited for my husband to arrive so that any questions he had could be answered.  I was very impressed that he waited for my husband even though the repair would be done by an electrician and not by his crew.  

This time around, we were lucky that it was a minor issue.  When the time comes that we need any work done on the roof, we will be sure to call RENCO Roofing and ask for Jari.  His honesty, integrity and service were outstanding!

Shot a hole in my ac coil with a nail gun then tried to cover it up!
Then were back out- Association related repairs so I did not arrange for the repairs. They broke my drainage pipe to my ac unit, turned the end of the pipe upwards so it filled with rain. Ironically the pipe was missing from my roof top.
Totally intentional and totally crooked organization!!!!

Renco saved me money on my Scottsdale home.  including their 10 year warranty, but the best part was, the patches that I was doing were redone, and the storms we had in Scottsdale did not penetrate the new roof section.  when I say saved money, they did not try to over do it, they did just what was needed to fix the section, and no more.  what could have been overblown by a competitor, RENCO did the right amount, for a fair price, and the fix works!

Renco showed up on time and gave me a bid that was 22% lower than the next two competitors.  They started the work on time and finished that day.  Everything looks fine to me and they did a little extra caulking around two scuppers (on a different part of the house) that I requested at the last moment...no extra charge.  I would definitely recommend them.

Renco was one of three roofing companies I called to get an estimate for replacing my roof on my AZ property.  Renco was the only company that called me back the same day and scheduled a time the following day.  From the original estimate, through the final inspection, I am extremely pleased with Renco Roofing.  They delivered quality and kept me posted on all phases of the job.  I was also pleased that Renco provided a fair and competitive bid.  Renco Roofing is my go-to company for all roofing needs going forward.

They promised the work would be done in 10 and it took longer.  The quality of the work was good and they did make up for the lateness.

Several months ago I hired Renco Roofing to  install a new roof.  Shannon came out and explained the process.  He was professional and was able to explain the process to me.The men came on the day appointed and appeared to work hard in order to complete my work in a timely fashion.  My only complaint was about the trash being left, as well as.  roofing material left on the property.  MY issue was addressed within the hour and Aaron came out to clean the areas in question.  He spent two hours cleaning the back and looking for any roofing materials in my back yard.  It was completed to my satisfaction.  I enjoyed working with this team and would recommend them highly

Lars of RENCO Roofing came out to my house on January 15, 2018 to provide an estimate on my horribly damaged and neglected roof.  He was personable and provided a quick estimate.  I dropped off a down payment  (35%) of the total estimate on January 23, 2018.  After giving the contract and down payment to an employee that didn't quite seem to know what to do with it, I went out to my vehicle and called Lars to notify him.  He told me that they don't get a lot of down payment drop-offs at the office and that it would be ok.  Then he told me I could expect a call from their scheduler within 3-5 business days to schedule the work.  I now find myself 8 business days later and I have not heard one word from RENCO Roofing.  It's upsetting due to the fact that money has already exchanged hands.  I was hesitant about posting this review due to the fact that I have already signed a contract and Lars told me that if additional materials were needed during the job that I would receive a bill after the fact.  I now worry that additional work will be done and billed to me as a retaliatory effort for leaving this review.    To summarize, I was happy with the interaction between Lars and myself.  He was professional and personable.  He seemed knowledgeable about the business and I felt comfortable doing business with him.  However something happened in their workflow process that has left them with $3,000 dollars of my money and me not receiving any communication about scheduling the work to be done on my roof.  I will now see what I can do to either recover exchanged funds or work this problem out.  An unfortunate and unnecessary additonal step that I feel I should not have to go through.

Just finished up our appointment with Keith. He arrived on time as scheduled.  I found him very knowledgeable, honest and in comparison to the other quote we received from another roofing company - extremely reasonable.  If you have any roofing needs or issues, I would not hesitate to call Renco and ask for Keith!

These guys are the best in the valley.  We had some broken roof tiles and a few other roof problems when we sold our home and they came out quickly to fix them and were very reasonably priced.  They were easy to be reached and very professional documenting all their work and the charges.  I highly recommend them.

I needed my rotten fascia replaced which required some repairs to the flat roof which is foam with a a polyurethane coating.  I got estimates from several companies but Renco was one of the two that could do both the fascia and roofing work. I think Renco is mostly a family companies with many of the employees being related.  I first met with Keith for a proposal, but he was the best to help coordinate the different phase of the work, and help address and resolve any problems, which because of the weather were a few.  I particularly was impressed with the work on the fascia.  He was such a hard worker and the quality of his work was excellent. Then the roofers followed with the repair of the flat roof which required foaming and repairs to the coating where it was damaged by the fascia removal and replacement.  After all that, Renco recoated the roof to finish the project. There were a few problems because of the raining weather, but Renco always quickly responded to my calls and emails and promptly addressed the issues.

Again, Renco is very professional and their work is very good quality. I will use them again in the future if I need any future work on my roof.

I could type wonderful things about RENCO roofing all day long. I'm truly blown away by my experience and I have recommended them to my neighbor (who was super jealous of my gorgeous new roof) and my best friend who needed a patio roof fixed up. First, I was super impressed by Lars and his awesome customer service. He squeezed me in last minute- BRIGHT AND EARLY on a Saturday right before he had a big expo to go to. I really appreciated it! Then, a few weeks later it was time for the work to begin. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit for a couple of days, so we had to postpone temporarily, but I was kept in the loop every step of the way. The pricing was great, their professional input was outstanding, their timeliness was perfect, the work was awesome, the communication was the best out of all of the work I had done at my place (which was a lot) and I couldn't be happier. Please do yourself a favor and pick RENCO!

Renco recently replace the roof of our Scottsdale home.  They had 6 men start and finish in 2 days.  They were timely, profession, thorough, efficient, and cleaned up beautifully afterwards.  We had questions/concerns, and they addressed them to our satisfaction immediately  The roof looks great and is expected to last 30 years.  We highly recommend them!

We would totally recommend Renco. They showed up on the day agreed upon and finished most of the work in 2 days with final clean-up on the third morning.  We had two separate agreements; one for the flat roof which included tremoving the existing roofing, insulating and replacing 3 skyights and a separate agreement to remove the existing tiles, clean and restore and then replace the existing tlles to the roof.  All work was done in a professional and experienced manner and to specification.  By noon of the third day, we had a new roof with no trace that workers had even been on site.  Great job!

Two stars as so not to sound dramatic. Our tile/foam roof was repaired by the previous owner in 2006 using Renco Roofing who had worked previously in our culdesac. I now have a leak behind a living room wall and had them come out for an evaluation of their repair and estimate for a recoat of foam. Shawn is no longer with the company. His replacement Brett is confused and hard to understand, a little impatient and arrogant, but more improtantly rude, both in person and on the phone.
Moving on from him.
The original work order was for a replacement of underlayment under ALL existing tile and a foam recoat. This underlayment prevents leaking. He brought the work order to my house and showed it to me and it matched my records from the closing documents. On my closer inspection a portion of the job was never completed over the section of the house that has water behind the wall, aka a leak. Maybe this shortcut caused the leak maybe it didn't but apparently the owner Lon remembers the job from 6 years ago and states this is what the previous owners agreed to. They paid 1.3M for the house. I'm doubting they put underlayment everywhere else but there.
Even so, I can live with the inconsistencies between what was recorded and what was done but the estimate to refoam the rest of the roof and replace 2 self flashing skylights was $12k . Um what? We are talking like maybe 2500 sqft of foam. I don't know a lot about roofing but that is twice other estimates. Maybe my neighborhood commands a premium but al least do the job correctly, and have the foam last the full ten years that it should. Now to have a condescending employee come out again and do it wrong again? Not sure about that.
With all the available roofers in the valley you can do better.

We contracted with RenCo for our roof repair to repair a leak.  We received a very fair est.  and decided to hire RenCo.  The next day they called to schedule a time witch turned out to be a matter of just a few days.  Their repair man Shawn Simonson was on time on the scheduled date and the repairs made promptly.  A family owned company who takes pride in there work and guarantees not only there work but your satisfaction.  Great company!

I love RenCo LLC. Their office staff is organized so they can get quotes done really fast.  Brett is super personable and gives you a great trustworthy feeling. I refer RenCo to my clients because they tell it like it is... 5 stars for fast, honest and friendly service.

The inspector for my condo clearly missed a huge crack in the roof.  As a result I had a flood in one room and needed help fast.  I needed to get 3 estimates for insurance purposes.  One was so high I would have had to sign up for a payment plan for a few years just to pay it off!  Also, all of them had 3 week wait times since we were in monsoon season.  The sales rep for Renco told me what I needed to have done now and what I could hold off on and repair down the road.  Their price was not only the lowest, it was more realistic for the scope of work that needed to be done.  Because I chose them that same day, the rep came back that same afternoon and sealed the major crack so that I would be protected in the event it rained before they could do the whole job.  They were able to schedule me within the week.and I didn't have to be home for them.  The workers were clean and efficient.  Moreover, the rep provided me with pictures and language that helped me get money back from the inspection company and the home warranty company!  They were honest, reliable and reasonable...what more could you ask for!
