Phil Will fix It

My wife & I have been looking for a handyman for awhile and finally had a situation where we needed one for some minor plumbing work (we had a standalone work sink in the garage that we needed to have disconnected and capped off to make room for a spare refrigerator). After some research, I reached out to Phil noticing he was originally from the same area I was in Illinois. Start to finish the experience was everything you would hope for. I advised of the job, sent some pics, he offered up a fair price, we scheduled, and in less than an hour Phil was done. He was easy to communicate with via phone and text, while also being quick to advise on anything pertaining to the scheduling.  He was punctual and did a professional job with everything we asked of him. We will not hesitate to reach out or recommend Phil Will Fix It for any future work we need to have done.

Phil is amazing! He is very responsive and does nice work. He had helped us hang up some tv's

On top of all the professionalism Phil charges a fair fair rate. We live in the Westbrook area of Peoria. We had a couple ceiling fans and a new bathroom light installed. The rates were awesome and a great trade off while having this done while still working. I would always recommend Phil and his team. I look forward to working with them again soon.

I called Phil to repair a balcony door that had been giving me trouble. It took him like 15 mins and the thing was back working perfect. He came through super quick and repaired it for me but the twist is that on his way out he seen my front door was offline and repaired it for me too free of charge! Good guy, very courteous and knowledgeable I would recommend to anyone.

What a great experience! I expected my long list of handyman needs to take Phil all day, but he came in with a plan and the tools to get the job done! He installed a doggie door to an exterior wall, added an outlet, hung things on the wall, mounted a tv outside, install our new doorbell, and checked to ensure our dishwasher wasn't leaking. He was careful with each job not to leave a mess. I would recommend working with Phil to anyone who needs a handyman!

My name is Art and I felt compelled to write a review on Phil the handyman who installed our security door today.He came a day earlier than scheduled and in 1 hr. Did a fantastic job installing our door AND locks etc... My cabinets needed pulls and knobs. I asked Phil if he could in the pulls and knobs properly. He assured me he had template. I asked a number of times not to put in extra holes. Well he did not follow template correctly. He put extra holes in 10 cabinets. If he had checked the very first one, he would have seen it did not fit which unfortunately he did not even check. He could not fix the extra holes. I asked 8 other handyman to fix and unfortunately the holes cannot be fixed. I need to resurface or reface cabinets for $8,000. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for

Phil came in and installed a new ceiling fan, he had to run electrical and do a hole in the ceiling, he was very professional, came on time and even checked out a couple other repairs for us. I highly recommend him for any handyman job you need!

Have reached out a few times for various projects. Just get canned automated responses. When I tried to clarify the response or offer to work to accommodate, I was met with other canned automated responses. I would recommend updating services, service area, and availability to avoid creating frustration and an unfavorable impression.

Phil has come out a few times now, (and will probably continue), as we are moving in to the area (in Peoria), and he is doing a great job with all the projects we have asked of him.  Thank you Phil for the great work.  Now where is my discount?? Ha ha

We could not be any happier with Phil's service and hard work! He showed up on time to hang up two large, crystal chandeliers, with great care. We were very impressed that he arrived wearing a mask and followed COVID protocols. He was prompt, professional, and courteous throughout his visit. I wish I could give Phil -5. I have provided him with a list of thinks that I needed to be done and he estimated less than half a day.
Because he gets paid by the hour he stretched
the time . After 7 hours he has not completed the job, he left everything claiming he needs to go to pick up someone.
He came two days after and he did more work in 2 hours than what he accomplished in 7 hours.

Watch out paying by the hour is not always a good idea, you could be taken for a ride.

I was looking for someone to put together a swing set for my kids and Phil responded to my request right away! He's very responsive when I message him and when he came out he wore a mask which was much appreciated. He put it together and anchored it within a few hours which was impressive! I was so pleased with his service that I already had him come back to install outdoor shades, misters and patio lights. His prices are reasonable and he's a very nice guy. I cannot say enough great things! I will definitely be using him going forward for all my handyman needs.

We had a few minor things that needed fixing at our house and Phil came out and fixed them for a very reasonable price.  What you read from the other reviewers about his superior work ethic, attention to detail, etc are all true. I think one can get a sense of when a contractor is being honest and doing their best job - Phil is this man.  And you simply cannot beat his price. We will definitely be seeking his services again when the need arises. 5 big stars.

Phil is the most reliable and honest tech I have ever dealt with  He has fixed rentals for me and I have so much trust in his work ethic that I have left him the keys to rentals and even blank checks I would not look anywhere else!

I have a property in Buckeye. We have had a few issues come up that needed immediate attention. Not only does Phil have a fair price, his work and professionalism go leaps and bounds. He was fair, and honest when he replaced my sink as well as did some minor drywall repair. As far as handymen go, look no further than Phil will fix it. Thanks Phil!!

Phil said he was busy, but could fit me in for my small jobs. He proceeded to string me along, maybe Tuesday, maybe Saturday, for a couple of weeks, never showing. Finally he did come to my home, knowing full well I had an appointment and was depending on a ride home. I was 5 whole minutes late, not home at ll:30 but 11:35, and he had come and gone. I shredded his business card.

If I could give Phil 10 stars I would. Ok, I give him 10 stars.  Honestly, we've hired a few contractors and handymen but Phil's work ethic, amazing array of skills and perfectionism are the finest we've ever seen.  He arrived wearing a mask and looking sharp as a tack.
Within 3 days he expertly and efficiently assembled FOUR large pieces of furniture with many parts (I was astonished), he changed hinges on 3 doors, fixed a kitchen light that I had been told by previous person couldn't be fixed, hung about 6 paintings, installed a light fixture in a shower, installed Light switch in a closet., and installed a new visor in our car. I'm probably forgetting something but you get the picture.  Phil shows up on time and texts to keep you advised. Oh, yeah, and he installed and mounted a TV wall mount. We have more tasks to be done also. Phil is awesome in the true sense of the word.

Phil is honest, fast, efficient, pricing is fair and he's on time!  Not to mention his quality of work is awesome and he is very professional.  All the qualities you want when someone is in your home fixing things you can't fix on your own.    He did some electrical work for me, and was able to figure out the mess I had from the previous owner.  I agree with others, wish I could give him 10 stars.  I highly recommend Phil for any jobs you need help with.

I don't want to tell you how awesome Phil is because then he might get too busy to handle all of my Real Estate clients last minute drama.  But seriously Phil handles all my Real Estate needs whether it is for my Buyers or Sellers and he is super professional and timely and amazing!!  Thank you Phil!!!

Phil was great. We were having one ceiling fan moved from living room to bedroom and installing a new large fan in the living room and installing 2 smoke detectors. Phil took care of everything including running to Home Depot for a part and more wiring.  I basically slept through the whole thing while my husband took care of anything. If you need a reasonably priced  Handyman, that knows what he's  doing  then Phil is your man. I had him install a ceiling fan that I loved and brought  from another home. He was So CAREFUL not to break anything.  I have since had him do other odd jobs with equal and knowledge. As an added plus he has a great personality  and wit. I was very pleased!
